We wanted to walk today close by from our van, so set off over the bridge to complete the newish Ad Lab then thought why not continue on along the beach. Near GZ looked a little snakey for my liking but muggle husband who once said geocaching will be the death of me, was seemingly keen to help (or keen to get this over with) so set off with a big stick and sure enough led me right to the find. A cold drink inside would have made this an even better find but a fave from us. Thank you for the mega cache
Found it with my childhood friend @samlook from Switzerland. My first large cache ..._.._.\ \./ /....\ \../ /_._...\ \/ | | |..|___.|_.|_.|..(___(_) .|...|. TFTC .|..|9:55am|. by GSalomon7

Found while on our September Holiday to Phillip Island. This is a really beautiful spot to geocache. We liked the walk in to this one!An enjoyable cache to find, thanks for hiding it.
Out for a blustery day of adventuring with carmlee1! Off thru the bush we went, fortunately no rain this time
It was an amazing day adventuring on the island dodging storms with doddlingalong, but a break in the weather we managed the MEGA cache. Found the cache but did lose the car briefly. TFTC
Out and about with Snips and Co and RoamingHowie and I had bookmarked this geocache as it was far from the ubiquitous nano or micro or mint tin.it was interesting to drive through the coastal mini suburban area to arrive to the sand dunes and a nice short walk to GZ.thanks for hiding a decent sized geocache in a pleasant surrounds.
Out and about with KristysAdventures and RoamingHowie large was on our agenda and this fitted the bill. It was a shame the original was not in place and we were a little confused about the fav points until we had read the cache page. A shame it had been muggled, but we are pleased that the Mighty Mega is just around the corner. Thanks Bounty Trackers, always a pleasure to find a large cache.
I had arrived in Phillip Island and met up with my co-conspirators for the weekend, Snips and Co and Kristysadventures. These large caches were definitely on the todo list so we set off on a wander to find the beasts. Such a shame that the original cache here was muggled, but glad the CO resurrected it with something of equal size.It didnt take long to spot once we were in place and the log was soon inked.A big thanks goes to Bounty Trackers for taking the time to add The MEGA Cache to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Are you ready for Victorias next big event?Join us for Victorias first ever *Block Party* to celebrate 25 years of geocaching.**When:** March 22 - 23, 2025**Where:** Hume Global Learning Centre, SunburyLog your will attend at [**GCAP417: The Sunbury Event** ](https://coord.info/GCAP417) Visit our [**Block Party website** ](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/the-sunbury-event) for more details on the exciting lineup of events and activities as they are released!
I almost bypassed these two caches but im glad i didnt. This is a ripper in an unspoilt little corner of the island. Thank you so much for sharing. Every now and then i find it very therapeutic to skive off from what i really should be doing to enjoy some time in nature, walking, exploring, adventuring, or just being. These days, of course, that also includes geocaching. I was feeling a bit inundated and decided to head for the coast for a sea change, at least for a few days. Phillip Island has long been a favourite so i hit the road and after a busy drive through the city i finally arrive on the island and immediately felt myself beginning to relax. When i was young i enjoyed quite a few family holidays down here and some of my happiest memories were created on splendid days exploring the beaches and rocky coasts. I will certainly find some geocaches while im here but i will probably spend more time just walking and sight seeing i think. The MEGA Cache is find number 3,700 for me. A fun large sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in Bass Coast Shire. I am logging this one on Tuesday 23 July 2024 at 7:16 pm and the weather is Overcast Clouds 14C 62% 10 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy Bounty Trackers.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
An afternoon in Kilcunda turns into a shortEvening across on the island, this and its twin wereOn my must do list and my failing eyes were able to find. TFTC and adventure
What an authentic idea just love it.I appreciate logs with historical dates x
Incredible spot, but surprisingly empty for a box so big. Someone should set up a Sylvanian Family display in thereTFTC
Its whale watching Season again so I was down the island to try my luck and had a bit of time to try to find one cache.. success.. what a whopper of a cache and an easy find. Not as much luck with the whale watching. Thanks Bounty Trackers for placing the cache.
Yah another whopper cache, really love it when its not a cache the size of a marble hidden in the bush, good job.We enjoyed the walk down behind the new houses, and the bonus of being able to take the pooch for a wander too. Thanks Bounty Trackers for the cache.
I enjoyed the walk into GZ. bunadoorian and I both saw the cache at the same time. LOVE LOVE LOVE the size of this cache. TFTC and for bringing us here Bounty Trackers. Another favourite point from me.
A very nice cache and it is big which gains it another favourite point. Surprisingly well hidden. TFTC.
Mega indeed! The planets aligned and a spontaneous decision to head down to the Island for some sea breeze, ozone and coastal vistas on a free day AND of course caching (or casheering as dear mum would say) transpired. This great hobby is such an invitation to explore aspects of any location and the ISLAND has plenty of that. Quick find at GZ with a good hint. TFTc and the FUN.
TFTC! We love the big ones. Left some swaps as Caching Creatively as there was lots of rubbish, like lolly wrappers.
Last one for our island trip! Its been fun! Thanks for the cache. Would have been awesome to see it in its former glory!
Found it on our way to see the penguins. We picked up a travel bug and will bring it back to the United States. This was the largest cache box we have ever seen!
Bei einem kurzen Spaziergang rasch gefunden, bevor wir uns auf die Go Kart Bahn wagten natrlich statten wir heute auch den Pinguins noch einen Besuch ab! Tftc!
Wow this cache is mega needs a bit of a clear out a nice walk to get hear we thought it was at the huge tree but tacked just a little further TFTC find 220 thanks bounty trackers
It's so refreshing to find such a big cache, no trying to find a micro and plenty of room for stuff. Would be nice to see the extra space being used for something more. Tftc
Found it nice and easy big cache, have to do a bit of off roading though. TFTC
The oldest kid just qualified to become a volunteer Surf Lifesaver at Woolamai Surf Beach this summer and this weekend was his first patrol. So I was down for a wet weekend of driving duties interspersed with a bit of caching. There are worse ways to spend the weekend . . . I'm tarteting large caches so these two were a bonus. There was a group of teenagers camping in the dunes (didn't look like a permanent camp) but I easily skirted around them to find this cache.
TFTC! 7 November 2023 4:36:15 pm 6375Thanks for the cache. On our way off the island but bad traffic, so what do we do! More caching! Great to see some large caches!
Woohoo we found the mega and very happy to come across such a big cache definitely worth the stroll i hope to come back again. beautiful area to walk would love to see filled up with more treasures not just trash. Took something small replaced with some things. Exciting to find such a big cache with the kids lacking in interesting treasures and not going to risk leaving a TB here since quite noticeable when do spot definitely at risk of losing. Loved this thank you. Nice and dry great condition log book plenty of room
