Out for the weekend, caching. We managed to get away without the teenager for once, so we decided to make the most of it!
Thanks for bringing us here, Seafarer7!
Thanks for bringing us here, Seafarer7!
Out with Just a cacher on a run down to the coast for a weekend's caching to get away from the Canberra cold.
The dog loved this one (so a fav from her) with the run up and down the beach on our walk to GZ. A quick find on a breezy lunch time walk.
Thanks for the cache Seafarer7.

Found the long way in and the short wat out. Poor old pigface is in short supply at GZ but it's there. Brought back memories of school. The scenery round here is just gerat. TFTC
Considerably tricky hide as there were so many places it could be hidden.
Nice beach too.
Left 2 trackables
Many thanks for bringing us here Seafarer7.

A nice walk along the beach. Low tide, sunshine and calm conditions made it an easy and dry walk to get here.
Thanks,

Found it, and only got the shoes mildly wet from my attempts to circumnavigate vegetation
Found this one with the Newberys sadly not much pig face left but one lovely bloom in all it's glory
Nice walk on the beach on a sunny winters day. Always better with a cache and the cachekids frolicking around. TFTC
Found on a windy but sunny morning. Was even a pigface flower out close to GZ. Thanks.
Tides sure doing bank damage here..bit of climbing and bush bashing (if you dont want wet shoes) to caches safe hidey hole...Nice hide...TFTC Seafarer7
This used to be my old hunting ground as a kid. We use to come down collecting the soldier crabs, then the shells and walk around the light house. Thanks for rehashing all the fun memories.
Cheers and thanks for the cache
Cheers and thanks for the cache
Unable to find this, had a good look under the pigface, lots of prickly asparagus fern to put us off.
Found as we were about to give up, and it seemed rather obvious!

We managed to cycle to GZ via an access path 200m to the west and then along the hard sand. Nice spot, left a TB heading south. TFTC
Thank you for bringing me here. I have lived in the area most of my life but this is one place I have not adventured. Beautiful day for a short stroll and find.
Left a stingray and a star

It is a long drive to get here, but iit is defenitely worth the effort. Have been to this part of the shoalhaven before and absolutely like it! This spot however was new to me!

Had a few minutes before TheMiniHunter's soccer game at the nearby fields, so I ducked off for a quick cache hit. A pleasant morning stroll and a quick find. Left a TB and a geocoin. Thanks Seafarer7.
A pleasant stroll from the boat ramp to GZ, then a quick find. Nice to be out and about with out getting wet! Lots of fisher muggles around taking advantage of the post rain feeding frenzy. Thanks Seafarer7 for the cache

A quick find after a short walk along the track. Thanks for showing me this part of the river, Seafarer7!
(Beware of ticks though- they are certainly around, even though it's winter!)

Beautiful spot for an early morning walk (and a stumble while looking at the GPS & not the ground !) Only a couple of flowers out this time of year. Took both TB's. Left Geocache King Badge & Cancer Council Daffodil magnet.

Was a bit hard to find in the near dark, but the usual onsite hints helped! Must bring the geoboys here next weekend for a walk... Lovely spot...
I was out this way looking for waymarks, a Groundspeak activity, when I decided to look for this one - it was only 269 metres from the boat ramp & there is a track almost all the way. Admired the pigface then made my way lightly to the cache & made a note that I own a geocache on the break wall opposite, a different site though. Thanks for bringing me to the other side.
A quick dash with the kids before school. Had to jump over a little creek, but came up with the goods without too much difficulty.
Left the travellers for someone else.
FTF #26 Woohoo.
