This one was hard to find and when we eventually located it wasnt hidden in accordance with the hint although it was only 2m from where my phone put GZ. We re-hid in accordance with hint; its on the downstream edge of the rockfall in this area.TFTC
I'm ditching dad again and heading down south for the Mega in Dunedin. During this trip I managed to do many things and meet many people over the 2 weeks I was away. Thanks to all the cache owners and other cachers for making this trip enjoyable.Day 3 of the trip. After spending the night with mum I split off to go and do some of my jasmer months. It was a nice laid back day doing mainly caches along the coast but I also went up and did deep creek which was fun. A nice quick find here. TFTCAll logs on this trip were signed by any of the following:Taybee NZ,TBNZ,TNZ,TB/D (When I was out with mother)
I think I've got mixed up. Last log might have been this one. Cache was higher up than I expected & had me going for a while.
We actually laughed when we saw this clue. It was a fun find! Cache is all good. TFTC
Today we decided to do the loop around Lake Aviemore and also walked up the Deep Stream Track. We managed to find 27 caches though had a couple of DNFs.We went round the lake in an anti clockwise leaving from Otematata. Now walking the Deep Stream Track picking up the caches as we went.Track getting harder as we continued on.Here we had quite a search checking a few possible hosts before the cache was eventually found TFTC Tim and Viv - ddm
The cache is present and accounted for! I searched for quite some time, high and low, plenty of time, with no particular place to be or people to see. A few potential hiding places, plus a dead body (possum?) to navigate around. After re-reading the previous logs, I decided that it must be somewhere, and it was! Quite high above the path, but nice and snug in a hidey hole. TFTC!!South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - MEGA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!
Two good searches with no joy. Will mark as dnf and post a maintenance request as I am the 4th dnf in a row. Still thanks for getting me here
Time constraints meant I only had a quick search. Not long enough to log a DNF.
The OpenStreet map on my phone shows the track is closed from just before this point onwards. I got to this location but could not find the cache. Never went any further. TFTC.
Unfortunately not a find this time, looked as much as possible, much of the bracken has been flattened over winter and is hard to search under it. Not sure if the cache is there or not. Would be good if the CO could confirm or another cacher, but no luck for me today.
Don't usually have much luck with these but was under the first rock I picked up. Amazing.
Found with Mr spoonz- I insisted that he do the scramble for this one as I had been there before. We are definitely coming back with our kayaks to this creek. Thanks for bringing us here and along this track.
Heaps of bracken now. I did manage to find an easy way in and was going over ground already covered before I revealed the cache.
getting the hang of this trail now so nice easy find in the end just had to be at the right spot when the gps settled down tftc
Random spot for a cache but I got it. Thanks for a cool little series..... Had a good day all in all.
Scrambled up wrong hill, then after releasing self from roses and lancewood headed for new coordinates and had a far easier time finding the cache!
I'm on a 5 day caching trip in the south island. Have a few aims - right now its to up a few specific caches that I need to complete my grid for a challenge - and find some interesting caches on the way 1800km later I can say I've accomplished my aim!

We stopped just to make some pictures and then we saw the sign for the Deep Creek Walk and as it looked interesting we decided to do this walk. It was a very nice walk through beautiful landscape and we were happy we did walk this trail. We liked it a lot!
We searched this cache on our way back and found this one right away at 1:55 pm.
Thanks for the hide.

Fefe.adrien and I visited the left shoreline of the lake Aviemore and we did the deep stream walking track. We found all the boxes on the way.
Nice landscapes around.
We signed on the logbook with our team name : Lekiprokos.

Ninalila and I choose to walked in the valley 'Deep Stream' to find some boxes and then search for some others along the lake Aviemore by drive-in.
All of them where well maintained and easy to find.

Thank you for the cache and the discovery

Enjoying a wander along a track that we might never have wandered without these geocaches. Thanks for placing. Found with debsnz
It sure was a scramble to this one. Found some sunglasses near GZ. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
By now I was looking like I’d been trying to protect myself from being whipped, with all the cuts on my arms. It might have only been ‘about 4m off the track’ but I managed to find the most scratchy way to get to it. Thanks for placing the cache.
TFTC over hanging trees didnt give off the best gps reception but got there in the end, from this point on the track is over grown with vegetation and fallen trees to be weary when attempting it
FYI there's more stones here than at Stonehenge and more bracken than there is on the Scottish highlands so the hint wasn't too helpful it didn't help that the gps was all over the place tftc
I had a 4 prong mission for the day , " U" and a "G" for the month challenge of course , a T5 for the road trip souvenir and a D1/T3.5 for the stat grid and im very pleased to have ticked all the on my 350km road trip down to the lower waitaki with a few extra caches thrown in as well.

Found with quinella and geodog. Track was quite overgrown up this bit but we needed the walk which we may not have done without the caches.
Me, pinkpantherDD, Mallorcatommy and our dirty little GPS helper found this GC on a NZ South Island trip in January / February 2015. Thank you, that we could discover this beautiful place!

Every day we are traveling around is same but also different. Today we had again the pleasure to visit some very beautiful spots and were also able to find nearly placed geocaches. I thank every single owner for placing it and giving us with doing this an other good reason to come here.
Mallorcatommy, con/limon and I were on our journey through the southern island of New Zealand. With the help of geocaches we came to so many beautiful places, saw breath-taking landscapes and had, all in all a very wonderful journey! Thank you to all owners for placing all those nice geocaches!
Last summer the idea was born to visit [Green]'New Zealand'[/Green], together with [url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url]
After some important decisions regarding the beginning of our trip, the flights, the general route and the car were made, the most important question was still unanswered: which caches can we visit during our tour [?]
To get an answer for this topic I was fetching almost every cache from both islands [8)][:X]
[url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url] and I love [Teal]'Geo-Arts'[/Teal]...so we added all these cache series to our wish list
After this decision was made this list was more than 300 puzzle caches long...unsolved puzzle caches
Two weeks before Christmas it was getting time to start solving all these mystery caches
Even with the different language I could find almost every solution
In the case I was not so successful I was contacting some of the CO's...and was always getting help from them...many thanks for this support [:X]
During the following weeks our cache list was growing and growing...meanwhile more than 1000 caches long...too long for a simple bookmark list from GC
Time to get our route and caches in sync...time to save the PQ's to our Garmins...time to start this holiday:
Chapter 5: [green]Twizel[/green] to [red]Oamaru[/red]
After a stormy and rainy previous day, the rain had stopped this morning
Therefore we could search for some caches during our drive...and this time without our ponchos
Arrived at this beautiful 'Lake Aviemore' we decided to walk [Blue]'The Deep Stream'[/Blue]...a lovely walk along a hidden creek [:X][:X]
Along this walk are five caches with interesting D/T-ratings placed...this cache was one of these caches we could easily find
I would like to thank all owners of the caches I've found for their effort and for showing me these interesting spots,

Found with Granville86a, trail getting overgrown and getting lots of scratches, but lovely walking along the river
Found with Chosen1978, Track getting a bit more knarlier but still excellent views. TFTC
I think I was lucky to find this one. The cache was some distance from the track and all but concealed.
Thank you for the cache. We were with my wife on long trip around south east Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The caches showed us so many nice places.
Without your caches I probably never would have made this track and saw this magnificent place. I do not think, that here along run very many tourists ... except they are cacher like us .
This one has definitely earned the d-evaluation.
Thank you so much for this beautiful view and greetings from Switzerland [blue]Li[teal]sa[blue]-[blue]Lot[teal]ta

well i think the rain has stopped and another cache found, the day is picking up.Tftc
Found this one on the way out and was last of the day, I am scratched worse than an old record but enjoy this series and the area. All caches dry and in good condition. Tftc
After i visit last time only the first one of this track, this time i was prepared for the track.
Very nice walk and nice caches on the way, this is why i like caching.
Thanks to the owner for this.

The track started to show some unfriendly vegetation encroachment as I neared here (rosehips, matagouri and a shrubby form of bush lawyer) and I was starting to show the effects. Cache was right where the hint disclosed it would be.
from here, nearly all people go back, the trak is only small with several bushes on it. tftcjulmat
A bit searching for this box.
Thanks for the Cache. Greetings from Switzerland.

A nice trail to almost finish the day on. Quick walk up and quicker walk dawn. Thanks Bitsprayer for the effort in putting out all of your little plastic boxes.

A nice little walk with a number of caches along the way. A very neat spot although the track got a little narrow and indistinct in places.

Took a few moments to find the correct spot, but by the time we'd done so the GPS had settled down to 2m.
Quick find up here. The track is worse than a couple of years ago. Seen a wallaby about here too.
A short scramble. The flood marking are quite high so would be an interesting walk after a good rain! TNLN Thanks
FTF. Using the original coords it looked like I was going to get wet feet. Then I thought no above the flood zone, so widened my search a bit and came up trumps. Came away with a new setr of co ords to provide to the cache owner but opened the page tonight and my thoughts of having one over Bitsprayer disappeared.
