TFTC DJC3575 your cache Garden of Memory that we found today. We left Wollaston and MeandDe this morning to get some repairs done to the geo-mobile in Mannum. Had to go via Murray Bridge to to overhang on the Motorhome. Dropped the car off and headed to the cemetery as it would be too hot to walk from the caravan park. Quick find and we headed to camp.Find Count: 18657
The BOLD and perhaps beautiful roamed Adelaide for the MEGA and toured the state of SA in search of adventure! Fab time and thanks to all the COs!
GC2X4W9 Garden of MemoryA group of us are down from Darwin and Brisbane in preparation of the leap year event. Today we head from Mannum to Adelaide picking up various caches. To save space in the logs we have signed as BOLD7. Was meant to be BDLD7 but something got lost in translation. Nice quick find on this one. TFTC DJC3575
We came to this cemetery to collect information for another cache, but because we were there, Bellhappychappy, CybergranV and I thought wed add this one to our tally for the day. This was found beyond the graves quickly by Bellahappychappy because, being younger, she could move more quickly. Thanks for the fun find here.
The morning started early, vacating our accommodation on the outskirts of Mannum so a BOLD07 team member could host a b'fast event alongside the mighty Murray. After the event, cachers went in every direction. At Mannum's dead centre we took the parking spot of cacher recently departing, a very much alive one that was recognised at this mornings event. Cache quickly spied and signed. Thanks DJC3575 for keeping this cache active and out of the hands of the resting locals.
Continuing on with my South Australian caching tour and the mad collection of caches in the state. I am again part of the BOLD 7 team doing the mad assault on as many caches as we can. Today is going to be a mad long day as I am driving to Mt. Gamber and surrounds to chase some LGAs and some special caches. So glad to have finished off over the 300 of the Bike series, the ice cream cone art was fun, the anna tommy art was hot, the stayla challenges were cool. Now to move onto a different area of the state. OH the big Lobster is on the cards today. Love a Big Thing rings true today. First off today is the morning event. Was nice to see so many people turn up to the event. From there it was off on the drive. I am really loving the countryside of this state and the people are friendly while still watchful of you. We signed the caches as BOLD 7 and replaced them as we found them. Thanks for the hides and the great caches. Mum we will be late home.
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday. All challenges will be checked for qualifying at a future time.
It was a big drive from Corryong, in the North East of Victoria.I collected a couple of geo caches along the way to fill in some new LGAs. I have collected the south Australia souviner YAY!! It is going to be a big few days enjoying Adelaide and the surrounding areas. All the events are pencilled into the calendar ?? I'm hoping to geocache inbetween as well.So glad to be here Found with surefoot

# 9182 Day 4 of the Leap Day Mega trip. An early start today as I headed out west to Mannum, about 1 hrs away. The event was at 8am so I was up early. It was a very warm night after yesterday's 37C and it was pretty warm today too. Mannum is still recovering after recent flooding. Following that, I grabbed a bite to eat at the bakery and headed off to Mannum falls, which were not. By now it was roasting hot out there. The only stop on the trip home was at Hahndorf which was a bit of a theme park and quite busy for a Wednesday arvo. Met a bunch of Queensland cachers and joined them for a few finds. Tomorrow is the main event, but tonight is an event in the city.A quick find here. Thanks DJC3575+KKM for the Traditional Cache
Found with FUF009. Today was all about Mannum and the surrounding area. It was a very warm day. We found lunch at Walker Flat. What a great place to find when you're hungry and thirsty. I had hoped to be out of the heat by mid afternoon, but it ended up being dinner time by the time we got back. All caches were found without issue. Tftc

A nice visit to the cemetery. Don’t know about the stone paper though? Just looks like a normal pad to me! But what do I know!
We came into the cemetery for part of a lab cache and grabbed this little one on the way.

Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending a few days in Mannum. With the extreme weather forecast we had not planned any caching today but once we arrived and the sun was out we headed off to grab some smilies before the storm sent us runniing home.
