I am not going to pass up a geocache with 80 favourite points. With Featherdown today.I had the right idea about this hide and it proved to be in great condition. Nice to find a 13yo cache too.Another favourite point..

Great find! Took a bit but was able to eventually find it.

Cool cache and a relatively simple find. Thanks CO!

Again, I had the corrected coordinates and while in Torquay attending an event it made sense to go find this. I was accompanied by Au Fait and we looked up and we looked down. Back to basics and we had the goods in hand. Definitely a FP for this great find. Thanks ClamManandClan.

This cache stumped us for a while but was well worth the persistence! After going down a few metres from the cache and getting help from Mclookers log we had the CIH. TFTC find 342 thanks clam for this cool multi

Well made cache! We really enjoyed this one. Didnt know if we needed to consider the big spider swing thing a swing, but it ended up not making a big difference to where GZ ended up.Once on location, a bit of geosenses led us to the find pretty quickly.Tftc!

Came down to Torquay to knock some surf coast geocaches over to smilies. This was the first cache we attempted.Quickly realised that the final was going to be a creative hide given the number of favourite points. We were not disappointed!Adding a fav point of our own SmileTFTC

Lol. Fun one!Very clever.Another fav.Met up with tessa-bella here. We left them in Sydney and met up with kimmy533 drobbonz and kiwisteve2 to do the Ballarat Geotour. Now we are heading across the GOR on our way to the Great Leap Forward Mega in Adelaide. Tftc

This one has been on my need to do list for a very long time, but never found myself in the immediate area. Today the planets finally aligned and I was close by, on my own and had some time. A nice little venture here, my calculations had me slightly off from where I needed to he. A quick adjustment to a lower elevation and I soon spotted what looked like a clever concealment and it turned out I was correct. Nicely done! TFTC

After a long spell of no caching due to life's lemons, on a little trip away, open the app to find this is our closest cache. Note... caching with toddlers is HARD! Sheldea worked out the co-ords, but we lost the light to find it, so returned today. Had a lovely little picnic nearby, then headed to gz to have a look. Delays included a toilet run (nearby toilets are closed), a copperhead snake sunbaking nearby, feeding the ducks and watching the eels pinching their share. While the little ones were occupied & corralled.. we started looking. And looking. And looking. But then finally i found it. In a spot I'd already checked. I found it! Quickly put it back for Sheldea to find for herself. Many thanks for the cache. A fav =)

This was a very sneaky hide that took me two visits to find. After visiting a couple of days ago I read and re-read the description and a number of logs before I realized I was on the right track but just a few meters out. So after finishing our Christmas lunch early I had time to try again. This time with success! Merry Christmas 2023 to all! Thank you ClamManandClan for placing and maintaining Key or Quay ??? for us to find today.

This was in a great hiding spot, was fun getting the kids to work out coordinates. Looking through past comments helped a lot.

Whilst in the are for work, I decided to use my lunch break to collect a couple of smiley faces. The sun was shinning, the hay fever was intact which made it a beautiful day.I parked at GZ and decided to wait for a handful of families to stop using the playground. It is just too weird/uncomfortable being a random person walking around a playground with out your own kids by your side.It felt like they were there for the long haul so i decided to work out the coords on the low. I could easily count the amount of swings but spotting the monkey bar rungs was tricky. After spotting a local father using the monkey bars I was able to count his movements. This seemed to work because I got coords that were close by.I made the short walk to GZ where I spotted the cache pretty quickly. Great hide and worthy of all its FPs. Another one coming your way SmileThanks for placing this multi! Logged and replaced how i found it.

In the area from Tassie, got up to see the sun rise. No better way to Fill in time before the Family Wake up. Love a easy multi. The location had me stumped for a bit. Then the penny dropped. The gun cabinet kept on our key ring was handy as its extra long. Well done great cache a FP from me

Did not find this one. Found a perfect spot it should be but it was empty. Also found a sistema container lid upside down in the bushes which unfortunately could be it. Ill wait to see if someone finds this one after today, but i believe it to be lost

Was in the neighborhood on dad duty, so came to this regular-sized favourite armed with an on-theme trackable, confident in success, ready to let the trackable fly away.

Located a brilliant space that I felt certain must have been part of the puzzle, but failed to find anything or make constructive use of it.

Refused to give up, read all the comments, liked what I heard, and consequently spent way too long shlepping about in frustration today.

I will need to return again with a fresher mind. Till next time, Torquay.

This is what caching is all about!!!
A Favourite point from us!
A very clever and well thought out construction!
Found quickly by Mr Riddell after reading a few logs… it certainly meets the requirements of a key/quay!.
Also, we love a “simple” multi….
This cache had all the right ingredients!

We were heading into the street approaching the Carpark when Mrs P spots a garage sale sign and like a flash she has dropped myself and eldest geodaughter off and left us to our own devices for this one. Fortunately collecting the numbers required for this cache wasn't too difficult and we then set off on a leisurely stroll towards GZ. Once there we only had a couple of minutes alone to search before a group of three taking a family member from the nearby nursing home out for an excursion and for the next 15 or 20 minutes we had to pretend to show interest in everything around us except looking for a cache. Luckily there were one or two brief occasions when they had their backs turned and I was able to narrow down something that didn't quite seem the same as its surroundings. So once they finally left I zeroed in on my target and with relief I actually had the cache found straight away! A quick signing of the log and I quickly put everything back together before we might be interrupted again. A fantastic cache in a pleasant location, a FP from me for its clever construction and camo.
Thx ClamManandCam ftc. Cache and log in good condition today.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

G'day there ClamManandClan,

It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue.

The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s can be addressed.

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**

#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.

- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**

- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil

In the area this morning for a dip in the ocean. As this is my 365th day of my streak, I chose this well favourited cache. I crunched the numbers OK but struggled at GZ. I felt I knew what to do but nothing was working. After some help and a bit of heavy duty leverage, I finally had the cache in hand. The log was a bit damp but still signable. I left a TB too.
Thanks for placing the cache ClamManandClan, a favourite from me!

We quickly calculated and took a stroll to the GZ, we guessed where it was, but that was the only piece. Second guessed so many times, but made the find eventually without a PAF Smile.
What a great hide.

My friend, K9team, needs to do a lot of moving in the next few weeksSadTwistedSad As part of all that movement, I picked up an item she'd bought from Shepparton and delivered the item plus my trailer to her at BendigoSmile[^][^]

Bendigo is close to GeelongWinkBig GrinWink so I figured I'd just keep travelling and end up in Geelong to go for a night cache maintenance walk with BushfireCoolWinkRazz[^][^]

We are enjoying the Easter break down here at Torquay and cruising around on the electric scooter. I arrived at the playground and it was surprisingly deserted. A quick gathering of clues soon had a good looking GZ. I headed over there and noting it was quite a high difficulty I new it would be a good hide and I wasn’t disappointed. That is fantastic. A favourite from me.
Thanks ClamManandClan for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Left a trackable in this very well made cache. Came here because if the good reviews. Was onto it quickly but couldn't use my hands to access it, so checked with Spiffy I was right before I started ruining public property Turns out I just needed a tool for leverage.
Couldn't see anything out of place, had to trust GZ and cache senses.

We ad planned on being in Enfield and Napoleans today for a few events, but we both woke quite late and headed down towards Torquay for the afternoon. We needed to geet the geodogs out of the car to stretch their legs and take care of business, so this oval fit the bill perfectly. A quick trip to the park to obtain the required data, then the coordinates for GZ were obtained. There were surprisingly few people around this afternoon; maybe they were all at the beach. We knew we were in the correct place but looked for fifteen minutes before a couple of things looked slightly different, and we found the cache. This is a very clever hide, and we were glad of the lack of muggles as we would have looked quite suss otherwise. Thank you for the cache ClamManandClan.

Second time and still no luck. I know that my coordinates are a bit off (they REALLY clash with the hint), but even though I have a suspicion where it could be, I just can't seem to track it down! Ah well, maybe next time Smile

Thanks!

Out chasing a few caches with Mrs. iowaPete as we made our way to Anglesea. Saw this multi-cache on the map and thought we might enjoy chasing it.

Got to Stage 1, solved the field puzzle without difficulty and walked to gz. Then, it started to rain. Searched for a while but the rain increased. Couldn’t make the find. Would have liked to search longer, but we were not prepared to be out in this kind of weather. We're both pretty sure that the cache is there. We just didn't take enough time to track it down.

Thanks anyway,

We're having a couple of lazy days in Torquay before we start heading north towards home. This morning, I ducked out between showers to find a couple of caches in order to maintain my holiday streak, which now is up to 31 days, and with lots of fave points to its credit, this was my first choice.

There were kids and parents in the playground so did my counting in safety from the car, and liked the result I came up with. Moved the car around to GZ and started my search and soon found that it wasn't hidden where I knew from the listing it wouldn't be. But then my geo-senses kicked in and I realised where the perfect hiding spot would be and was able to bring the cache to hand.

Well done ClamManandClan on a great first hide! Indeed, so much so that I'm adding another fave point to its already impressive tally. Thanks for the efforts you went to.

I had to drop a couple of the Sims_family kids at band practice in Grovedale and had a couple of hours to kill before picking them up again. I still needed a cache for the day to continue my daily streak as well. With so many favourite points the was an easy choice as the cache to do to fill both time and a cache find. I arranged to meet Neville_devil in the car park at band practice and we headed to Torquay.
At the posted coordinates the counting was quickly done and GZ discovered only a short walk away. We headed in from the wrong way and ended up going the long way around to get to where we needed to be. Turns out my first idea on how the cache would be concealed was correct I my GPS was just off by a bit so it took a little while to locate. But wow what a hide fully deserving of all its favourite points and is getting another one form me.
Thank you CalmManandClan for the great cache

Was given a recommendation to go and pick this one up while in Torquay. Can see why. Really neat hide! I found the spot very quickly but how to get into the container? Move this way and that way. No luck. Hmmmmm. PAF am I missing something do I have the right spot? Yes I do. With a little more effort the container was in hand. Favourite point added. Tftc. On my way to hide my next cache

Find # 7204

Found with Tyred n Cranky.

Down in Anglesea for a weekend family trip. While Tyred n Cranky had found quite a few in the area they decided to stop at a lot of them to let me claim some smilies.

Done the calculation with a little help and while back at GZ, Tyred n Cranky gave my 5min to find it before they would give me a hint to the location. Well i must say the 5minutes were used up and I was surprised to see that i had actually tried to move it a couple of time but with out luck.
It was only thanks to the BIG hint from Tyred n Cranky that allowed me to make the find on this.
Quite clever, and quite a little devil of a hide.

Find No. 2076. Found at 1.00pm

Down in the Torquay area for the weekend to take our geodog Penny to the beach (and she loved it), and also to do some caching. At this time of year the weather was good to us for both activities. First up we concentrated on getting the caches in Torquay before moving onto the G2Anglesea Trail.

Our second trip to find this one. First up we were in the right area and had the right idea but just didn't keep on looking. This time after receiving a hint, we looked further on and there it was. We asked ourselves - why didn't we keep looking with our idea when we were here the first time. Oh well that's caching. Found the cache, signed the log and moved on.

TFTC and a fav point from us for a clever hide.

With a relatively quiet calendar ahead, I’ve chosen May for my multi month.
This did have us stumped for a while before I noticed something irregular.
Upon closer inspection, it wasn’t long before the cache revealed itself.
Unfortunately, we had to do a spot of fishing to retrieve the contents which were not inside. The logbook is now quite wet.
Future finders: Very important to clip the lid on properly!
A favourite point heading your way!

We approached this and decided we knew exactly where it was. But it wasn't, . . . . . or was it. Found it where we expected it to be. Was disappointed that all the contents had fallen out and took quite some time and improvising to retrieve. The container is in perfect condition, just not replaced correctly. The next people to visit might like to take a new log book possibly. There was plenty of room but it had water dripping from it and you may not be able to seperate the pages when it dries out. We were in the wrong car or we would have replaced it whilst there. Thanks for this clever cache and bringing us here.

We left home this morning with a plan to drop of a geocoin that we had picked up at one of our own caches during a maintenance run. We dropped it off in Derrimut at the Westgate Fwy / Ring Rd T.B Motel.

We then planned to go somewhere and maybe do some caching. As it was predicted to be a warm day we decided to go somewhere coastal and headed for Geelong an area we enjoy caching in.

Halfway down though we decided we would go to Torquay instead, since we had not been there for a while.

After lunch in Torquay we decided to do this multi that Mrs Plow had picked out on the way down. The kids didn't argue as there was a park at the start. Mrs P did the numbers and off we went after the kids had finished playing in the park and on the nearby exercise equipment.

I had an idea where the cache may be hidden, and had a bit of a search and then gave up and looked elsewhere. But Lukey (geoson #1) persevered and kept looking where I had given up and after about 10 minutes and a few false alarms he managed to find the spot and with a little help we had the cache in hand. What a great hide! This was very tricky. We signed the log and Mrs P found a brisal5 PT in the cache. We looked through the logs and saw that Brisal5 had visited back in November and quite a few people have found the cache since - so it was a lucky find. The pathtag is of a pink starfish which is quite appropriate for this area as later in the day we would find at about five pink starfish down at the beach.

Thanks for the multi ClamManandClan it was easy to find the final coords, but a little harder to find the cache! A really interesting one that we all enjoyed.

Now off to the beach for the kids to get their feet wet!

A year of caching for the Bruces today, and again we're in Torquay finding a multi, like our first. This was a cache fit for the occasion - even with the helpful description, it took a bit of finding. In the end though, it was right there in the only place it could be. Thanks

09-Jan-17
First time I tried to get the kiddos interested in a "treasure hunt", but all I got from Mister 4yo was "I'm gonna be soooo upset if we don't find that treasure!", and the Little Miss kept getting too close to the road or other dangerous spots. None of that helped with trying to do some nice thinking, so in the end I just had to give up. Will definitely try to come back, though, as all the comments have me intrigued about the hide!

01-Jan-17
Another day, another year and another cache, now 114 consecutive days with a find and the first one for the year. We wondered about this cache given the number of favourites it had so it must be clever/good. Riding our bikes we quickly gathered all the info at WP1 and heading to the GZ. There we started searching using the clue for help. It took a fair bit before we realise the hide. Nice hide and it took a bit to extract the cache out.

Found by Team Justice #1397.

13-Dec-16
Found this on our second visit here. At the first visit, we did have an idea how the cache was going to be hidden, but we didn't find it and then were fixated on the "noticed something that was not quite right" from a previous log, but the place were something was not quite right was without cache. So we gave up eventually and read some more logs and decided to come back and look in that place again, maybe we'd somehow overlooked the cache. But it still wasn't there, so we decided to trust the coordinates a bit more and went poking around there and finally found the cache in a place that you definitely couldn't see a place was at. I guess when that other cacher found it, it wasn't all in place, but when we came it sure was. Exercised brillantly, this cache, thank you very much for the effort! Really liked this one.

Found with Winniethebear. Staying in Torquay we looked at some well favoured caches and this was on the list. We parked at the suggested location and found the clues. But having the heat on us we decided to drive and park closer to the GZ to find the cache. With some details from the cache, it was a pretty easy find. Great Camo. TFTC.

Found with legoman9x on his bday Wink was a hot day so after getting the clues at wp1 we drove and parked on a side street to retrieve the cache. Great camo!

Geocaching with Bushfire, Aussie M & M and brisal5, under the name of GOTHs + 1. Today we had a plan.... find geocaches with lots of favourite points, pick up some we missed yesterday, enjoy the scenery... and of course have fun.
This one was well worth the praise.
Thanks

Day 6 of my week long visit to Victoria. Cool
Today our team was to be GOTHS plus 1. GOTHS being the Geocachers Of The HillS - a group of SA cachers. Myself, mogni and Aussie M&M were the GOTHS members and local cacher Bushfire was the plus 1 [:o)]
After the hectic competition of yesterday it was time to just pick up a few caches at our leisure. Caches with lots of favourite points, ones that seemed a bit interesting and a few others along the way were targeted Smile
With so many favourites this was definitely on the list. And it had us flummoxed at GZ for quite a few minutes. Then a little fiddle and hey presto a cache. But the log was mush so we replaced it [^]
Thanks ClamManandClan Big Grin

Sorted out the information easily enough and was soon on the way to GZ where at first there were not too many obvious spots to easily hide a cache. Looked at some not so obvious and then hit on an idea which after a little while paid dividends.

Sorted out the information easily enough and was soon on the way to GZ where at first there were not too many obvious spots to easily hide a cache. Looked at some not so obvious and then hit on an Idea which after a littel while paid dividends.

A very clever hide but I do have to report that the logbook is soaked and unusable. I could have put in a replacement but that would end up the same at the moment.

Log book needs to be replaced or dried out. Otherwise thanks for a great cache and the effort put into its camo.

After a couple of Did Not Finds I finally got the time today to go for a look. The cache was intact, in place and waiting to be found...

A couple of days away with Leetalicious to recharge the juices, and grab a few caches in this beaut area. We spent a lot of time here, met another caching family, tried a few different angles, but had no luck.
judging from the logs and faves, this is worth another effort next time we're down.
Only discrepancy was counting the swings, do we add the tyre swing?????. However, coords would only vary a metre or two anyway
Thanks anyway, CM&C

Headed to this beautiful area with Bogonghazy for a couple of quick days away. Calculated the final coords fairly quickly. Searched eaverywhere and other geocachers arrived and joined in the search. Located where we thought the cache was hidden and after a while we left only to return to double check the spot we thought the hide was hidden. Sure enough we could see a mark where the cache had been but it is not there now - at least we think. Thanks for sending me to this lovely part of the country. Will have to come back again to tick this one off.

I did a quick dash through the playground counting rapidly as it was overrun with tiny muggles enjoying the sunshine. The calculations soon had me at a place that seemed appropriate and in line with the theme. Once there I was a little cramped in my search as a fellow was practicing casting for fly fishing. I obviously did not have the right key today to unlock this cache, but i suspect i know where i will eventually find it

I was in the area today with one half of The_Tritonz. We were chasing a recently published FTF, which we were lucky enough to claim !! On the way home we did a quick search and spotted this hide. With a decent number of fave points, we couldn't pass this one up. We were a bit worried about WP1, being a playground. Luckily it was abandoned, so we did a quick search and soon had a set of numbers. We made the trip to gz to seek out the prize. This one had us going for a while until Chris made the discovery. A nice bit of work here, well done. Thanks for an entertaing little multi. TFTC ClamManandClan Smile

Down in the area with DAB chasing a FTF we noticed how many favourite points this cache had earnt, so it was decided to tackle it before heading back to Geelong. Luckily for us there wasn't any children in sight today on this cold afternoon which made gathering the information much easier. Once we had a set of likely coords for GZ we made our way there to begin a very frustrating search for the cache. Initially the other Triton said if he was going to hide a cache here it would be......... , but this was dismissed early on as not being the hide. After much searching though , we ended up trying something different which did reveal the cache container in said spot.
Thanks ClamManardClan for a very well thought out hiding spot and the cache.

We were wanting to complete one last cache in Torquay and this one definitely grabbed our attention with the number of fav points. Once at GZ we were very surprised that a 1L systema could possibly be hidden there. But it sure was! What a clever little spot. A favourite for me

Out Caching with Dbelco, Lilmix and Gem Chef and thought we would give this a go based on the huge amount of fave points awarded to it - We were not let down!
We quickly completed the required maths and made our way to gz. We looked high and low, we read and re-read the details and eventually PAF who gave us a hint to get us going. We eventually had cache in hand. How clever! I really enjoyed this and thank you for all the efforts you put into it. Another Fave point awarded from me.

Now, this one started to look familiar as I drove up. Then I remembered, I did the calcs, but didn't go to GZ because it had turned into muggle heaven. Found the calcs in the trusty notebook (I was still using paper back then!) and off to GZ. Yes, interesting area for a cache this size. Eventually spotted the absence of things and was right on to it. Left a geonickel, took a Chev! SL, TFTC!

While down from Melbourne visiting me sister, took her family to find their first cache. Took us a little bit to figure it out but once getting the gist, had cache in our hot little hands. Great cache. Thank you.

Ado & Sas travelled all the way from SA, went looking, found it avter some searching.

Staying in a local resort for the weekend and this was one of the caches we targeted.

Third time lucky. Smile
Collected the required information on Friday but after a short search we decided to leave this one for later as there were too many muggles around.
Returned later and was muggled out almost immediately by a walking party of youths.
I headed back to the resort for now.
As we were all packed up and about to leave town, one last look in here was called for.
After a short search, I read some old logs and the penny dropped.
With the clever camo out of the way we soon realised that the last visitor here had not quite sealed things up correctly.
As my arm was not long enough to reach the spilled contents of the cache, a set of BBQ tongs was added to our cache kit.
Signed the log, replaced everything where it belonged, including the extra seal over the lid.
Thank you for the well thought out multi-cache, the adventure and the cleverly crafted hide ClamManandClan.
A favourite point for the experience.

One of the best constructed hides I've found so far and well worth a favourite! Took us ages but eventually something not quite right revealed itself to us. Tftc!

No worries collecting the info but did I do a great geo dance here. Finally I found what I wanted. I had already checked that spot out before but dismissed it and kept on dancing. When all else fails try again and this time I was rewarded with a lovely container.
Oh so happy to sign this log. What a clever hide and it deserves a favourite for being so well done.
