Snuck over to the southside under the cover of darkness for an early morning raid. While not technically this was not the first cache attempted, it was the first one found today. ARrrived just after a brief shower went through the area. Everything fell into place on the way in, heaps of parking, no grass height and no muggles sighted. Went straight to the obvious then back tracked before spotting 'Lets Be Besties' tucked nicely away. Thanks for maintaining this cache goldielover.
We were out for a walk early this morning and decided to combine this with finding some caches. A short search here and we had the cache in hand. The inside of the cache has had water in it and the log was quite wet, but was able to sign. Signed log & replaced as found. TFTC
After a quick search, I located the cache. The tricky part for me was opening it Got it in the end

We ducked out for a handful of caches before our families' late Christmas lunch, with the excuse of needing to buy drinks of course.... No problems finding the cache here, it is a bit damp though, as the container isn't waterproof... TFTC

Nice quick find here. Container needs some attention. TFTC goldielover & geodog!
After dropping TreasureGardener001 back home following a good day of caching, I could hardly resist pulling over for this one on the way home. Imagine my joy when I realised this was yet another Goldie and Geodog cache! Creative as per usual. Replacement Log seemed to be in good nick . TFTC
We had parked close to another geocache, and decided to come for a walk to this one.
At GZ we found the well hidden container, but note that the paper log book is extremely wet. This being the second wet container we have found today, we are depleted of dry logbooks as spares today. We had left to offer, is a small sheet of paper with some of our own scribble on one side. We have crossed out the scribble and at least now there is a dry piece of paper inside the container. Interesting little pocket of bushland here. Thanks for bringing us this way.

Another neat little suburban park. Spotted cache and after a little while worked out how to get inside. Once inside, the log book was very wet - definitely needs a dry-out or replacement.
Log signed (with a bit of effort) - TFTC.

Found. Log later. That's 3 caches gor this morning and a nice stroll through Edenbrooke & nearby scrub/bushland. TFTC. Although bit confused by black vs brown book (log?) thing...
Wandered about in the dark a bit as GPS was doing a little jig and when it settled down it was an easy find. Signed the log and replaced cache as found. TFTC
Had some time so I parked within 44 meters of this one and after a very short easy walk and very good coordinates had the container in hand. Took longer to open the container than the walk in. I re hid where found and covered a little better. I have seen this type of container before and I will have to get a couple for my own use. TNLNSL TFTC goldielover
Out for the day with Nikid1, Mr RoddyC & Selva Girls.
Another warm day of caching in Brisvegas so the cool shade was a welcome respite. Selva Girls kindly led us the easy way into the cache (not the hard way she had taken when she previously found this cache). We soon had the cache in hand, ah I know what that container is usually used for...

Out with RoddyC, KerriMG and Selva Girls for a day of caching.
Took the easy way in here and a made quick find.
It was always little black book when I was growing up. It was where the boys had a list of girl's numbers, and you were lead to believe that you were special to get your name in there . I think maybe it was the boys that were lucky
I guess now the LBB is replaced by the contacts list in your phone - another loss of the modern age

A caching day arranged with Selva Girls, Nikid1 and KerriMG. Unfortunately Mrs RoddyC had to work today so I represented our team. We cached in the Mount Ommaney area for a few, then across to Sinnamon Park. Altogether we visited eighteen geocaches, and RoddyC was able to log fourteen of those as finds for the five hours we were out. The others we had visited beforehand. I also dropped off five TBs to continue their journeys.
Well, I know LBB as "Local Breaker Backup " - my nephew is a Sparkie! But that's now what we found today. Now for a nice pleasant afternoon walk back to the GeoVehicles.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 1.45pm on 23rd February 2017. TFTC, goldielover.

I decided that it was still light enough to try for one more cache. I made my way across the road and through the park to GZ. I approached from the wrong direction and thereby make this harder than it should have been. I circled around the lantana until I reached GZ. Once there, I quickly located the cache and signed the log. TFTC
Out in the area today.
After a short walk in, I managed to go past and ended up somewhere else.
Retraced my steps and soon I was looking somewhere interesting.
Located the cache and was careful opening it.
Signed the log and returned to hide
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks goldielover All good with this cache

Tonight we thought we'd do some night caching on our way home. Wasn't too tricky navigating to GZ by torch light. Heard lots of scurrying in the dark.
What an unusual container. We were careful opening it as we didn't want to break it. Eventually we worked it out and all was safe and sound inside.
Happy to have this one as our 1400th cache find.
Thanks for the cache Goldielover and adding to our fun tonight.

Short amble from the top down the geotrail . Actually went past it but soon found. Great container.
My geogirlfriend and I came here took us about 20 mins findung it almost give up lol as gps bit jumping TFTC
Today I was limited to doing drive by caches as I had a bad fall yesterday. So now I know what LBB stands for - unusual container. Thanks goldielover.
Somehow I always manage to find the hardest way to a cache. Great cache container.
Out for an early morning walk, before hooking up the caravan & heading to the northern suburbs.
Cache found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, goldielover, for us and others to find.

Heading home with Dutchie1950 from a camping and caching weekend at Wivenhoe Dam and we decided to stop and pick up another couple of caches on the way. We were discussing various possibilities of what LBB might be as we made our way towards this one. I spotted an old gumboot under a fallen tree and started to examine it thinking 'Little Black Boot'? Meanwhile Dutchie1950 looked at something close by and quickly came up with the cache. A Little B.... B...?
# 733 - I don't often go geocaching in this area, but as I was with Rhyssa6, who is working on a challenge, we stopped off here on our way home after a great camping weekend at Lake Wivenhoe.
An extraordinary cache container. We tried to work out what it was originally used for, but still haven't got a clue. The find was not too difficult and we even discovered a shorter way out. Luckily the grass wasn't too long, even after the rain we've had recently.

Lots and lots of grass at the moment and hard to see what was underfoot. My kids got a bit freaked and bailed ;-P
Nice work on the cache... took tb... left artcrush 2010 tb... and some american coin... tftc...
This was a fun container to open! Thanks for the nice wee walk. I left the little green frog I picked up in Adelaide to continue his journey. Left a twinkle too. TFTC
Unusual cache container. Relatively easy find. Took TB Avatar 'At Last' to continue it's journey. TFTC

Glad I read the logs and kept out of the lantana TFTC

We set off down the path from the park and really enjoyed the walk to this cache. The geokids were very interested in the industrial remains and were amazed as they followed them along this stretch of parkland. At GZ we were watched suspiciously by a bush turkey as we signed the log, he obviously didn't like the look of us We dropped in a geocoin to continue it's travels. Tftc goldielover!
!!!!!!tftc!!!!!! Up late again and with a cache to do for the day out I went to have a look at this one. Looking for a strange cache I stumbled across it and wow I thought that maybe used for one but this is the first of this kind I have seen. Thanks for bringing me here it was a nice adventure!!!
Decided to try this one on the way home from Rocks Riverside. In hindsight I could see the easy way in but Oh No I had to tackle the Lantana! Saw little guardian and knew I was on the right track. TFTC!
TFTC just as we'll I ignored the gps and went to the obvious spot. Otherwise I would have been in deep lantana.
This one made 8/8 on my day out with Dr_pepi. I think we took the most difficult angle of approach and probably should have walked around the outskirts a bit more to find the less steep option. Pretty easy to spot with a little critter watching over - Dr_pepi took a photo and should be posted soon TFTC, SL.
PS - I picked up a tick on our adventures this day - I think this spot was a most likely culprit so take care, especially with kids and dogs.

Out on an epic cache-finding walk with the fabulous trin_007, this one was our eighth find for the day. In our eagerness to get closer to the cache we forged straight on and found ourself taking the hard way in…. Lots of bodyguards for this one - first we were ensnared in the vicious and sticky lantana, then a skull let us know what fate might belie us, and finally some little spider bodyguards. However we were determined and fought through all these barriers, and were rewarded by finding out the colour of the little ___ book
I have been in Sinnamon Park for a week cleaning up and renovating an investment property. Today is my last day and the first chance I have had to do local caching. This was a great way to explore the local area, there are some many parks. Next time I am up this way I will make the point to explore some more. Anyway, a quick and easy find, TFTC.
TFTC. #250. Great to see a cache with do many logs on the book! A good spot that I have driven by do many times and not noticed.
Pretty quick find, but could have been quicker if I wasn't being over-cautious of snakes in the long grass. Cool container, Tftc
#627. Well I now know the colour of the L.B.B. I started today off with rocks view over looking the river than seen this one only 280m south so I walked in from the left jeep on the dirt road not till I got to within 30m of GZ there's a road right there dam it. Oh well it was a good cool morning for a walk. Log nice and dry but cache full of water, I dreys it out as much as I could and took out the soggy papers, Dora tattoos and ribbon they won't help been do wet. Tftc goldylover and geo dog.
Not having been in the area before it was a pleasant surprise to have such a nice easy bikeway to cruise along with some nice views as a bonus.
Approaching ground zero and the iPhone indicated it was necessary to go 'over the edge' [B)] Oh well through some lantana and then what do you know - it opens up into nice woodland! A quick search and the guardian is spotted protecting another interesting goldielover container!
Signed the log and now I can see the much easier (lantana free) way out!
TFTC.

Found with Toozey and Geokid. Massive lizard scared the crap out of us all. Saw a likely spot which seemed likely. Wood it be there? Not putting my hand down there! Was the cry! Searched elsewhere but in the end came back to the spot. Generated some backbone and there it was, cache in hand.
TFTC, good hide!
TFTC, good hide!
Found it., and a few spiders webs! Container was full of water but log was ok. Tftc
Took a little searching as our consistent GZ was 4m away. Wish we'd realised we didn't have to battle the lantana! Found neatly tucked away. TFTC.
I needed to find at least one in this area before heading back home. the rocks area down by the river was about to close and so as this one was closest to the road, I decided to dash in. Very interesting cache container goldielover!! Enjoyed this one. Took tb.
Beautiful morning for geocaching. Easy parking off Boyland st. Left Lock TB. Good hide. Quiet location. No muggles.
We forgot to note in our log that there was water in the cache including in the packet containing the log book. We dried it out to the extent we could and the log book is still usable.
at 15:06. We were not quite sure what we were in for here. There was a police car, a bikie and several police in the area. When one of them approached us as we started into the bush we wondered whether we were to be interogated, warned off or what. In fact they just asked us to keep an eye out for a missing hospital patient who had been seen wandering in the area and to call the police if we saw him.
We quickly found the right approach and the right location but it still took a bit of ferreting to find the cache.
TFTC Goldielover. A very interesting container. (As we left the police told us the patient had been found.)

Day 30 of the 31 day challenge, and out for a caching day with Ed and Barb Bowman. Parked the cars in the car park, and headed over to near GZ, only then did we realise, that this wasn't the best option, so went back, and found a friendlier goat track. Mrs GT54 was admiring the skull, and had missed the cache location, but fasted was quick to locate the cache. Very clever cache. TFTC.
out on a day full of fun and caches with Gullivers Travels54
very cool skull
fasted made me leave it behind
but i did manage a tooth to turn into a piece of jewellry
took BR spoon
left green ribbon

Out and about with karenhippo. Of course we took what looked like the easy way to this one, but didn't feel like fighting the lantana, so went back around and found a more straightforward way to GZ. I like the container. TFTC, goldielover.
what was that!! as something ran past us through the grass, quick sign the log, lets get out of here.TFTC
Despite the nasty animal skull uncovered during our search, this tricky container was soon located. Tftc
Out with Net88 to find a few caches. I took the direct Nyssaflutterby way to the cache and soon had it in the hand that wasn't munching chcken garlic balls, yummy!!! Which probably was the cause of me not being able to open the cache as well, one hand is always a bit trickier. On opening the cache I found there to be a small amount of water inside the cache but the log still able to be written on. I dried it out as best I could. Signed the log and replaced as found.

Found this cache whilst out for a day of caching with Nyssaflutterby. We were so happy that it wasn't raining for once that there was not a chance we were going to miss out on the opportunity to find some caches whilst staying dry. We had just grabbed a coffee from a really nice little takeaway shop and were headed to this cache next. We both headed of through the bush towards it. Yes there was a less bushy way but that was longer Took nyssa a little while to open the container. Thanks for the cache goldielover
I parked and wander towards what I was thinking was the right way, until I got a little closer and the distance to go was looking like it was going to stick me right in the middle of a Lantana bush, thinking I had come the wrong way, I was going to head back, but thought yo check anyway.
Seems that today I was in luck and had come the right way, as it did not take long to spy something that might be a good little hiding place. Only problem there was a gumboot there pretending to be a snake. Well maybe not but just the way it was wedged, gave me that impression.

As Murphy's law dictates I went in the wrong way first. Doubled back around & found an interesting container TFTC
Parked Sooty on a nearby side street and walked back around to what seemed like the best access point. A lot of mulch has been spread in this area and it looks like some of the scrub is being reclaimed for garden beds. Should be nice when it's finished.
Nope... Can't get in that way! Back out and tried another way in with more success... But I did have to leap through the mulch Seems the Council likes a particularly smelly kind of mulch in this region.
A bit of bush bashing and I found GZ fairly soon. Pulled out the cache and figured out how to get it open. Nice and wet inside Did the paperwork and tucked it back in its hidey hole.
More leaping through the scrub and the mulch to Sooty

Didn't have pen to sign with, will come back later to sign, but a nice quick find when I was previously concerned there wasn't many clues, interesting cache.
