D'oh! I have been aiming to start adding a few puzzle caches to my tally and as a Harry Potter fan this seemed a good choice. Worked out the puzzle a week ago and happily headed off to gz today. Upon arrival I found an unhappy tree and then noted the recent log from Froggycache. I checked in and around the very recently fallen tree (I tried wingardium leviosa to look under the fallen tree, but it didn't work for me - where's Hermione when you need her?), then expanded my search to other potential hides nearby just in case of cache creep or coordinate issues, but came up with naught.
This one certainly needs a CO check.
This one certainly needs a CO check.
Another Harry Potter cache for the tadpoles. They both answered the questions correctly without hesitation and with confidence - not bad for a 7 and 6 year old - and a solution was found.
The tree at GZ appears to have recently fallen - the tear in the trunk looks new - and there's already been work undertaken to break it down with a chainsaw. With half the tree on it's side I wasn't going to go poking around all the holes (coz snakes). Would appreciate if the CO could check on the cache.

Huge thanks to Miss PP7 for solving this puzzle. Greatly appreciated. Collected with Mr PP7 and OzHockeyChick. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here.
Geo daughter solved this one remotely and I picked it up with ozhockeychick and papillon4506 and geoturtle. Tftc

Ms PP7 jnr was the brains and knowledge behind this solve.
Thanks for showing us this part of your lovely city. Cheers

F(H)ound It! No.1251 - @9:00:00 AM
This cache fulfilled my geo-mission obligations for today. I parked in a nearby cul-de sac and then a short walk for me and the Ridgeo-pup on a cold morning. My interpretation of the hint had me searching the wrong place at first and then I spotted it.
I enjoyed the puzzle, thanks. I'm not really very knowledgeable of the Potter series but I was still able to answer and solve with a bit of research - I'm happy with that ! I am grateful for the checker as it took me a couple of goes before I had the correct numbers. Thanks for the cache, Bronnie_1990

Working on solving some puzzle atm. Don't really know my HP but clearly enough to get this one right. TFTC.
nice big cache, always nice to solve mysteries. Pokemon card placed, bouncy ball taken. TFTC
#904. 36 days in a row.
I'm trying to build up my multi and mystery counts at the moment, so that by the time I pass 1000 finds they're both at least 100. This cache was an easy solve and looked to be a park and grab, which was perfect since it was raining. I headed down after work and wandered over. It took a little while to spot the hide location because I was focusing on another feature a couple of metres away (and looking out from under an umbrella).

solved this cache a while ago though while I was close I'd go grab it nice easy find thanks
I found this cache for my daily streak after school. The puzzle was quite fun and easy - except for one question. It didn't matter though, as I guess-and-checked the number on Geochecker!
My mum parked near GZ and I made the short walk towards the cache. I found it very quickly - it was unfortunately out in the open. After I signed my name, I re-hid the cache with more covering.
Thanks Bronnie_1990 for the fun puzzle and the cache!

Thanks Bronnie_1990 for the fun puzzle and the cache!
Found with HypoHippo on a quick trip south to collect this puzzle. We had both worked out the numbers (I had a duh! moment during the working out, but got it sorted quickly. Parked nearby and hopped over the fence to walk to the GZ. HH is not a fan of grass seeds (he seems to be a grass seed magnet) and so I did the final finding. TFTC Bronnie_1990!
AngelG27 and I both worked out the coords for this one a few weeks ago, and decided to collect today. It was near the road so I was hoping for a grass-ssed free experience but it was not to be! Three large seeds in my ankle before I had walked 10 steps AngelG27 made the find, which was quick! TFTC Bronnie_1990
I worked this puzzle out a few months ago, and finally dashed out to claim it. A short walk to to GZ. Nice flowering bushes nearby. I took the TB 'Chris Bear'. It's Christmas; it was lonely. It can spend Christmas with us. TFTC and Happy Christmas Bronnie_1990.
Another puzzle started over a year ago, one bit got me stuck but was easier second attempt. For a change I took the correct access point to GZ. Took one of the TBs and discovered the other. TFTC
Straight to the cache and quickly found and logged. Another one ticked off the to do list
I started this puzzle four weeks ago before leaving for Cooktown, now back inCanberra I had one day to finalise it. Back to the drawing board, I have read all the books, seen all the movies, how could I be so stupid to make the silliest mistake. Finally corrected it and set off with daughter Vikki1480 to claim the prize. I took the Bipolar Bunny TB and left two others here, a little teddy bear and a special Mystery TB. Please do not take the Mystery TB unless you intend to place it in another Mystery cache. When I arrive back in Shepparton I intend to open a Harry Potter themed TB hotel so if you are in the area do call in
an easy nab on this very soggy day and an equally easy puzzle, i love these. tftc!
I had to find this cache again, because it was the closest one, and I still want to get the seven souvenirs of August. This time, I placed my TB
This is another result of the inspiration provided by the last Northside Puzzle Night. I worked this one out by assiduous use of the internet, and probably some luck. I've been crook all week, but I had to go to the doc today, so, on the way, I parked 100 metres from GZ on this one, and very slowly and painfully walked to the cache, and found it easily. Thanks for this one, Bron!!
Nice simple puzzle and a quick find my type of puzzle lol. Found with scruffyblake, Charli_Bear and Me_To TFTC TNLNSL
MY FIRST PUZZLE CACHE YAY:) ! I was the one out of Scruffyblake, Me_to and The S's to find it on the map. TFTC
Nice simple puzzle - like this style. enjoyed research about Harry Potter. No swap. Signed the log. Thanks Bronnie 1990.
It was well hidden, but not too hard to find. Very fun. My little brother and I exchanged items.
Threw the bike in the boot, the missus in the front and took her to Theodore where she had a job for the day. Whilst she worked, I walked, drove and cycled around the nearby suburbs collecting caches. TFTCs.
Found with fellow members of the ANU Harry Potter Club. Awesome find, thanks so much!!!
I didn't trust my HP knowledge, but isn't that what the internet was designed for? Well ok, other than porn tftc Bronnie, and the voodoo doll TB tripperOutThere
Gumby Maca solved the puzzle and I found the treasure. Picked up TB and dropped off a Dinosaur Head Finger Puppet and Bouncy Ball. TFTC.
416 Brisk hike from the previous find, during which I saw three yellow-tailed black cockatoos at close range. Superb creatures. Quick find at GZ. Took TB. Left 2 TBs. Big fan of HP so I knew some of the answers to this puzzle without resorting to research. Tks Bronnie 1990!

After spending the night and morning with my nephews, I decided to go on a little mini mission while the weather was good.
I thought I would go give some of the Chalk It Up series a go. I had a nice wander around this area today collecting caches on foot. I finally gave in when the clouds started getting ugly and the rain began to fall. That's when it was time to head home and do some logs.
I had solves this one a little while ago and while I was in the area doing a mini mission, I decided to collect. Found the cache nice and easily. Thanks for the cool Harry Potter puzzle
Left a TB behind for the next finder.
Thanks for the nice Sunday Afternoon Geo-mini-mission Bronnie_1990

Down south caching with Just a cacher today to grab some of the southern caches. Had this one solved for a while now but just didn't seem to have the time to grab it.
A quick grab today. Thanks Bronnie.

A nice easy puzzle and a quick grab after a short walk.
Thanks for the cache Bronnie

Well, I had to visit a friend in the area so, I sought out a puzzle to find along the way. This was an interesting exercise turning up some information I did not know. As I approached GZ, I could see the cache exposed. I left it well covered with all in good order. Thanks Bronnie
7th find for the night and 2nd after picking up furfacesLL for a night out caching. FurfacesLL had made the find of this one at an earlier stage so they stayed in the car while allrounder and I walked to GZ. A quick find.

Found @ 9:28pm on a night caching adventure with hccatcher11415 and FurFacesLL
I had solved this one back in June 2011 (only needed to check two answers) but this was the first time I was in the area to find it. FurfacesLL, having already found this one, remained in the car while we made the find. Thanks Bronnie_1990

'2013: 12 Days In A Row' - I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter book/movie series! We were overdue to complete a puzzle cache, so this was the cache for today! Thanks for the quiz and the cache.
Day 12; cache 12. For a hot day we settled on a close to home cache and it has been a while since our last unknown so what better one to do then this. TFTC!
Solved this one a while ago and got the chance today to do and find it. This the second find for me out on a bike ride around this area on a hot day. Spotted quickly. TFTC
Solved during a tea break at work and found during an early evening stroll with Jim. Cache was an easy enough find, removing the camo a bit trickier - have you seen the size of those ants??!!! Wow. Must admit that I wasn't too happy about putting my hand there, but managed it (as you do when there's a cache involved) and replaced everything as found after signing the log. Liked the HP card in there - we used to collect these too, I think they were found in chocolate bars but cant remember which. I still use one as a bookmark! Anyway, thanks for the puzzle and the cache - I love it when it all comes together like these .
I remember solving this puzzle as soon as it was published. It's amazing that it's taken 12 months to get it logged.

I was accompanying Bewideredbeast for a few caches to complete his Caching Games, and took the short walk to the GZ, and the bananaphone phrase did ensue alot. another puzzle ticked off my list which is always good.
thanks for the cache.

thanks for the cache.
Another solved mystery cache to knock off the list. By dragging the clan along, the bonus was that I can use this in the caching game Im participating in. A regular sized mystery cache is worth good points! Its just a shame I miscalculated the points value of the previous cache we did - strategy has gone a bit pear-shaped today...
Anyway, an wasy enough puzzle and an easy enough find in the company of Mtrax (and Cassie) and "Team Bananaphone" - SuperJaz, Ultra Violet Z and Little Buds.
Thanks Bronnie_1990 for the cache and the the wizard fun!

The tenth day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland was marked by the best weather for caching. No rain, not even a chance of rain, some clouds but plenty of blue sky and a very light breeze which did not have a hint of the bitter cold of previous days. We started the day tracking down the cache for the Hobart to Canberra Great Aussie Icon Hunt and then we spent the rest of the day in the Tuggeranong area, some of the time in the hills. We had a great days caching.
We had solved this puzzle before leaving Tasmania and were looking forward to searching for this cache, This morning we approached GZ and after a very brief search, the cache was in hand. Thanks for an interesting and enjoyable puzzle Bronnie_1990

Nice easy find for our first puzzle cache. Found with Tild Geogaughter. TFTC.
Worked this one out with the help of PyroFuzion, he is the Harry Potter nut.
Found an ideal parking area and located GZ without too much hassle.
There is a huge spider nest nearby and a mob of ants that bite, so a quick grab and into a safe spot. Hint to future cachers: Take gloves
zita&enzo recommended this puzzle as my ability to work these out can be a little ordinary and they said this was a good one to get into the puzzles. Thanks to Geochecker.com I felt a lot more confident, great idea.
As I am going to Phuket next week and hope to do some caching there I took TB and hope to drop her there.
TFTC Took Tinkerbell TB.

As it is with so many puzzles, we'd worked this one out some time ago and were waiting for a trip to the south side to grab it. Zita is a HUGE HP fan and had it solved in a snap. We had a couple of false starts in finding an appropriate spot to park but eventually found somewhere and walked a short trek. The cache is in great condition. Left Tinkerbell TB to add some more magic. TFTC Bronnie_1990!
8413 We are huge Harry Potter fans and Midi YuGeo has read the entire series, nice to finally be able to collect this Unknown Cache, without any muggles to be seen.
Many thanks Bronnie_1990 for the puzzle and the cache
Happy New Year and greetings from New Zealand, Cheers YuGeo4

So many times we've driven close by this but either didn't have time or forgot until it was too late to stop or turn. Nice to find it today, thanks Bronnie
Well, called upon the Potter experts-granny and the little(not so little nowadays) would be wizards to wrestle with the clues, processed the answers and away we went too seek and find. And there it was. thanks Bronnie.
Thanks for flexing my HP memory. Easy cache on a warm afternoon. Travelling with lil bro. Hid behind the area to avoid the whipper snipper guy above spotting us. TFTC.
A nice quick find after shinydragon finished the puzzle a little while ago. TFTC.
Tftc, the avid fans in our house solved the questions within 10 seconds and had no hesitation in going for this one.
Gps took us to within 1 metre, so thanks for the accuracy as well.

Nice for the Harry Potter fans out there, but I thought the puzzle was way too easy or maybe I am too addicted to HP. TFTC!
I love Harry Potter books and movies, so this one was a must for me. Thanks so much!
Out for a days caching with Steeba and Hoojar. This was one of a few finds we made today.
We'd done the hard work on this one before leving home so as we parked near GZ it was only a short walk to the cache.
Thanks

Found with The Rats and Hoojar on long days run through Canberra.
There is a certain Harry Potter fan in our house who has read the books numerous times but this one relied on Google.
A straightforward find. TFTC!

Reperio at 1115. Having read all the books and seen all the movies, I knew most of the answers, but had to look up a couple just to be sure. Today I stopped by with haveanez to make the find, and thankfully there was no one around GZ so the cache was found without any problems.

Found out and about with Marcus Vitruvius on a cache run in the ACT.
Well, we must admit we havent seen one Harry Potter, or read any of the books, however other family members had so with their help and our good friend Google we had some respectable numbers.
No-one about today which made for a quick find once at GZ.
We really will endeavour to at least watch the movies one day. Many thanks for the puzzle and cache Bronnie 1990.

A magical find indeed. Even had my ownanimal colleague join me on the adventure, appearing and disappearing as fast as I could though it sticks. Not the same as an owl though. TFTC
Solved very quickly having read all the books and watched all the movies (bar the last one) numerous times over with the geo-kiddies (who are now well past HP age). I was in the area this evening wandering my youngest child (the geo-mutt) so picked this one up.
4615. [font=Century Gothic][green]Only finished watching all the DVDs a couple of weeks ago in preparation for seeing the final (still to go too ) I had to drive by and then turn back down the track to come back and park for the find. Seemed a bit obvious even for an untrained eye so I tried to make the cover a bit more subtle - not sure how that went. Anyway nice easy puzzle, the sort that agrees with me .
