I found a promising pile of stones at what appeared to be the location, but no joy.Your five year old is indeed a legend, and a sterling effort from the ten year old as well.

04-Nov-23
Having organised the right sort of transport it was time to put it to us on these tracks and of course pick up some caches along the way. Some sandy and well rutted sections but no issues. Some great views along the way and generally short searches. TFTC

My last find on my solo hike south to north on the Cape to Cape. I managed to bag 28 caches over 5 days and am very grateful they are placed along the track to break the kms up. The view here was fantastic and a bit further north I watched humpbacks frolicking close to shore. TFTC.

Saw 4 seals from the seat. Saw 1 geocache from the sign. Took a pic because I didn’t have a pen. Cheers Smile

05-Apr-22
Another fantastic viewpoint on the Cape to Cape Track. Not much people were on the way today. The sun was relentlessly, but fortunately we hiked southward. Todays leg took us to Mt Duckworth campsite. Thanks!

24-Nov-21
Find 12 of 12 with 2 DNFS. Continuing where Mr O left off I parked at S33 36.967 E115 02.781 and walked my route. It turns out that today I could have probably ridden a good two thirds of the north south section from 24 to 18 especially along the fire break track as opposed to the 4WD track but as soon as the track headed west it got really sand boggy and I wouldn't recommend anyone try dragging a MTB through that. Its also a damn long walk back up from the coast with the uphill really only ending at 22. I saw one snake, a lot of 4WD all going north to south and no leavers.... well maybe a few P platers once lunchtime had passed.

This was my turning point today and I really hadn't realised on the way here what the trip back would be like on foot. Found easily and left a TB.

Hi there 4EarthHikers - while staying in the Four Seasons Caravan Park in Busselton for the WAGB weekend

15-Oct-18
Enjoying our time out on the trail. TFTC

14-Oct-18
I was still travelling out and about with maccamob and our aim for the day was a few caches before heading to the CITO and then an afternoon of fun doing the 4wd tracks.

After a pleasant morning caching despite the weather and attending the CITO of hardly any rubbish we joined force with Crank1, Everlasting,Varuna & Baby & Mrs Gopher to start the Dunsborough Tracks & The Goldilocks series.
It was a great way to spend the afternoon with beautiful scenery, varied cache hides and excellent company.

We saw that this cache wasn't too far away and after sitting in the 4wd it was great to stretch the legs and go for a bit of a walk along a glorious part of the coastline. The cache was located quickly in a strong wind and we were soon making our way back to the car enjoying the magnificent views from here

To save room in the log we signed as "3 States"

Thanks 4EarthHikers for the cache.

Tackling the Dunsborough Track series, we were not going to let this one slip by unfound…. We enjoyed the walk to the location, wildflowers in abundance & whales too Big Grin Cache was quickly discovered as a whale shot out of the water in the distance!

Managed to team up with Mistraluna, SeabreezeOz, Lazarus68, HHHeddy, Ross1957 and Cravo10 for the expedition.

A neat series that will surely help my stats.

A few difficult caches in the series and a variety of containers.

Thanks for the series.

I walked the Cape to Cape Track over the past week and picked up a few geocaches along the way. This one was a reasonably straightforward find, being close to the coordinates. Thank you 4EarthHikers for installing and maintaining this cache.

06-Mar-17
After having failed to find a 4WD access to this ache on a previous visit a couple of years ago, in preparation for today's attempt we did some research. Arrived around mid morning at the track off Sugarloaf Road and negotiated our way along the corrugated and occasional potholed sandy track. There was a fair bit of traffic on the narrow track today requiring several pull ins to the scrub to let others pass in the opposite direction. Guess we shouldn't have been too surprised to have found at least a dozen cars parked up at the 'three Bears' car park, some people making their way down the steep track to the waves while others observed from above. We continued onward as the track was open and eventually parked at S33 35.618 E115 01.096 - just 310 mts from gz. It was an easier walk on the Cape Track to gz than the very bumpy and bone shaking drive in. Replaced the cracked container with a new 200 ml Sistema. Thanks4EarthHikers for enticing us to this great location that our 'boys' surf at often.

14-Oct-16
We found it quite easily but the container was a bit cracked but we could still log it.

Drove to within 1km in the Jeep. Lid cracked. Water in container. Replaced with container upside down. Great walk on blustery day. TFTC.

03-May-16
With a couple of muggle friends we planned to do the Cape to Cape Trail in stages. The first leg took us from Cape Nat Lighthouse down to Yallingup.

Arriving at GZ I told them I needed to make a quick stop and introduced them to Caching. They looked through the log and didn't understand the idea. Never mind and on we trekked. TFTC. A fav for the location.

25-Apr-16
Beautiful walk - we forgot a pen so we will be back to write our name in the log! TFTC!

29-Mar-16
First one in Oz. What a beautiful view

09-Jan-16
Today Loudy16 and I are headed down to Busselton to catch up with a few geo-mates. With the highways all closed due to the fires, we set off at first light and aimed to grab a few caches on the Albany Hwy detour.

Teamed up with Dallyho who chauffeured us along the Three Bears Track. A nice cache here with great views. We signed and replaced the cache just before a group of hikers rounded the head.

Enjoyed the drive in to this one, what a great spot along awesome coastline.

TFTC 4EarthHikers.

4EarthHikers, I found your cache Hunting Season on 9/01/2016 at 2:40 PM. This is my find #2218 and #13 today.

4EarthHikers, I found your cache Hunting Season on 9/01/2016 at 2:30 pm. This is my find #1111 and #14 today.

09-Jan-16
Awesome spot for a cache to be placed. Loudy16, Krabiboy, Geowife and I were out enjoying the 4x4 adventure on Three Bears track to grab a couple more smilies for the day. Seen a number of hikers approaching so we sneakily grabbed the cache and soon had the log signed. Tftc

18-Dec-15
Tftc. Easy finding great view

18-Nov-15
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.

30-May-15
TFTC glad it was here as it gave me a chance to stop on my 35km hike with scouts Smile

14-May-15
Had a wonderful walk along the Cape to Cape track today
Started at Sugarloaf Rock and walked to Yallingup
The first half of the walk was along the top of the limestone cliffs with magnificent views down the coast towards Yallingup and down onto some beautiful bays with crystal clear rock pools of azure blue
I stopped on the nearby bench to have a late lunch and then made a quick find of the cache before continuing on my walk
The path soon headed more inland and was mostly through scrubby woods along a fire trail until you reach the carpark at the North end of Yallingup town.
Here there is a viewpoint looking down onto the long sandy beach and in the North can be seen Sugarloaf Rock while to the South is Smiths beach.
TFTCTNLNSTL
Container lid is cracked and will need to be replaced as water is seeping into container.

15-Apr-15
Walked here with my 4 year old son kai, he was really happy to find this and has elevated his energy for the walk home! Thanks Smile

17-Mar-15
Found this one relatively easily. We were on a hike on the Cape-to-Cape over three days. Going on day walks, doing car shuttles and staying at nice accommodation enabled us to leave Cape Naturaliste at midday on Tuesday and finish at Prevally on Thursday midday. Three days off work with fun company to recharge the batteries. TFTC 4EarthHikers. melvilla

21-Jan-15
Great views but howling a gale this arvo which made it a quick grab and run rather than continuing onto Bears for a bit of beach combing.

16-Jul-14
Came down to Busselton for a couple of days R & R. What better to do than team up with urch and her hubby for a day of caching. Our chauffeur was not happy about bringing his limousine out here, but we ignored his displeasure and insisted that he do as he was told. What a glorious view!! So glad we made the effort to come and find this one. Thanks for placing the cache 4EarthHikers

16-Jul-14
Thanks to our intrepid driver we made it to within meters of GZ, but it certainly was a pretty rugged track in places. We found a much better track on the way out, which seems par for the course for me when caching! Once the quickly found cache was found and signed we spent some time soaking up the view on the nearby bench.
Left my pathtag. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache 4EarthHikers.

25-May-14
Very easy find right beside the trail - great view.

06-May-14
Found whilst walking the Cape to Cape Track with my Dad over 8 days. The walk was thoroughly enjoyable and a worthwhile item to tick off my bucket list. The 'caches during the walk were the second batch that Dad has found with me and he is now looking at buying his own GPSR as a new convert to the hobby. TNLN TFTC.

05-Oct-13
I had a great walk today. Started from the Yallingup takeaway shop and walked along the trail to easily find this cache. A nice day for hanggliding - I saw about 4 soaring high above the cliffs. Picked up TB. TFTC 4EarthHikers

04-Oct-13
TFTC 4EarthHikers. Have been walking sections of the C to C track and this section in the middle, between SugarLoaf and Yallingup had eluded us for awhile because we were not sure if we could get the Subaru in here. Well, we did so finally got this section of the track completed and located the cache into the bargain. Smile Sadly some muggles had found this just before us and had put a very unsavoury drawing in the container which we took the liberty of disappearing. Great spot along this section of the coast.

We rested here while on the final day of the cape to cape walk. Good spot to enjoy some morning tea.

02-Mar-13
Here with geoscouts dropped trackable. Thanks for the hide.

13-Nov-12
We were delighted to find this cache on the Cape to Cape walk rather than on the side of the road. This cache deserves a favourite point for that and the location. Having completed the walk in 7 days carrying our camping gear, food, water etc we can thoroughly recommend it. The coastal scenery is stunning, the whales were amazing to watch and the wild flowers were beautiful. We met some interesting people along the way too. TFTC.

23-Oct-12
after the long trek found the blue bag cache signed the dolphin card tftc

23-Oct-12
I live around the corner an come here often.. Today i Found the plastic bag was hoping to find some sort of a container with a writing implement as I had been surfing and did not have my own on me... Oh well didn't write anything but can safely say I found it Smile

27-Aug-12
Gotcha !!! Cache is missing but photo evidence sent to CO confirms our visit and CO has given permission to log a find. We left two Dolphin tickets as a tempory cache in a blue plastic bag under rocks at GZ with our log written on them.
Thanks 4EarthHikers. Hope the weather improves to allow you to replace the cache soon.

26-Jul-12
I went, I looked, I failed. Been an unsuccessful period of caching this fortnight.
Nice day, enjoyed the trip, so not so disappointed.

Our third cache for the morning and a third to be awarded a Favourite both for its location and the fun we had getting here!!! Drove in from Sugarloaf Rock Road in the Zook. Awesome!! What a great spot and an ingenious cache idea.
Thanks to 4EarthHikers for bringing us here (and thankfully for an alternative way to get here as hiking that far was a bit beyond us)
