A cache trip to Penrith and the Blue Mountains with a large group from Canberra, signing with CPI24. A number of caches planned and others added on the fly. A fun group outing on a beautiful spring weather day. This cache: soany ants. Thank you The Booos for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and youban on a caching invasion of Penrith! Full of ants! Thanks The Booos!
Out with the group from Canberra signing as. CPI24(CanberraPenrithInvasion24) Find quick and easy. Kutgw
What an awesome day! Tankengine, Youban and I went and had an awesome breakfast at Percy Plunkett Cafe. The food and service was really good, but the coffee was smaller than expected, but not too bad. After that we got some caches before meeting the rest of the gang (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Aquilus1, sacada, GLISS! and Nibletricecakes). We dashed from cache to cache, all we aimed for we found and only had a couple of DNFs. After an all day run around happily caching (only breaking for lunch at Zeus Kebab and Pizza House in Cranebrook Village - which hit the spot!), we headed to the Panthers Club for the event and a well earned drink! This cache: Love a cemetery cache. Easily sorted and found. Tftc!!!
Took us a little bit, but after reading through the activity logs, we second guessed our coordinates and had to go back to the grave sites for a much closer look. Very good cache! Thank you so much!! Our kids loves it. And yes, the ants love it too!
We started a short family roadtrip in NSW today and will end up in Canberra for the mega, travelling via the Blue Mountains, Bathurst, Forbes, Griffith and Wagga Wagga. Only a small handful of caches are allowed on a family trip and I elected this one for the drive to Katoomba this afternoon.Nicely hidden but I did feel like I was flicking ants off me all afternoon Thanks to The Booos for this multi
Tried to solve some mystery caches nearby to no avail, including a DNF. Came here to my previously solved GZ. Many little ants occupied the camouflaged cache, however a smiley followed. TFTC
Sorted the numbers and got some good coords. Took a bit of searching to finally get my hands on the prize. Another spot I’m glad geocaching has lead me to.
Travelled over from New Zealand to do a two week roadtrip down to the Rutherglen Mega and back to Sydney. Thanks for the cache, The Booos

On our return home from a weekend in Blackheath, frazeydaze and I stopped off here to find this cache. Had a dnf for this once a few years ago so glad to get a smiley. Thanks for placing this cache Booos.
The grave yard certainly looks forgotten.
Thanks to the Booos for placing this cache.

Wow what an old cemetery. Found and log signed. A few snails are guarding the cache.
What a shame it’s no all mowed. Found the numbers and the cache. It is now a home for snails sand they are not letting go.
Didn’t know this place was here
Thanks for cache
A bit tricky to fine it’s all jumping

Just had trouble as a beginner, I'll come back when I'm more experienced and know what I'm doing
Found It!
After a bit of wandering around I spotted the required graves then headed off to GZ and started searching. And after a lot of searching I eventually found the cache about 15m to south of where the GPS was taking me. I think there are two possible values for B depending on how you look at the unusual font used on the headstone.

Found one grave quite easily, the other I had to google. Got what seemed like correct coordinates but the GPS was quite jumpy. Once it settled we narrowed our area to likely spots. Leanne with her gardening gloves soon had CIH.
Out caching in Penrith for the day. Nice multi took a bit to find but after putting on gloves soon had cache in hand. Nice hide. TFTC
Found it after a bit of searching, we were almost ready to call it before my partner tried a different spot, great feeling to find it

This was the only find for the day. In my quest to solve and find more multi caches, I selected this one as my target. I collected the required information easily but always wonder if I make a mistake when doing any calculating. This is where multis should have a checker. Once GZ was determined, I headed over, noting only a few potential hiding spots. Unfortunately, each spot I checked either came up empty or was so overgrown, I didn’t know where to start. After reading some of the previous logs, I tried expanding my search and spotting some gaps in the overgrowth which I could push aside easily. Nothing was working so I relied on a PAF who gave me some excellent information. I had the confirmation that I was looking in the right place but this meant a deeper search. Ever so carefully, I pulled back layers and layers until I found something a little out of place. With fingers metaphorically crossed, I picked up the item and it revealed the cache. SLTNLN. TFTC.

Yay! Our first find. Devastating to see the ruin. Would live it to be restored and looked after.
Found both graves easily, can't go wrong with the coords, although they wanted me over the fence into private property, but nothing found

Second time lucky. I had trouble last time even though there are minimal places to hide a geocache here. A nice cemetery and a nice cache construction and hide. TFTC
We turned up to do this multi properly this time. Found half of the data, guessed/googled the other half. Looked like we nearly had the right coords last time. Fortunately, we were more alert this time and managed to unDNF our previous DNF. If anyone finds that this log doesn't make sense, then that makes two of us. TFTC The Booos.
BTW, a neat camo.
BTW, a neat camo.
No luck here even after I changed the one of the numbers that I had previously mistaken like some others had.
Started the day with a DNF here. Dan may have calculated the wrong coords by using the internet. Always a big mistake with him. Or maybe we were still half asleep. After reading some logs (now that we are home), the cache container sounds like it is interesting. We'll be better prepared for our next visit. Thanks for placing this multi.
Passing through Penrith on my way home from a priority cache up the Mountains, decided to at least recon this multi while I had the chance in between heavy rain. Forgotten cemetery turned out to be smaller than I was expecting so both graves found quickly and GZ determined close enough for the grab as the showers started again. Quick simple multi with nice choice of one waypoint to add a bit of trickiness. Signed log in the well-made camo, dropped a TB and dashed back to the car before I got even more soaked.
After DNF-ing this cache a few months ago, decided to come back after another cacher successfully found it. Double checked my coords and found that last time I misread one of the numbers. Must get my eyes checked. With the correct coordinates found the cache straight away. TFTC
Solved coordinates but couldn't locate the cache unfortunately. Was an interesting place but sad to see it so run down.
Time for another day chasing mint tins with marj01. With a predawn start we headed from the eastern suburbs out west to Penrith. We started caching at Wallacia and made our way north through the suburbs to Jordan Springs. We had lots of finds which included trads, multis and mysteries; also some dnfs that were too well hidden for us to find or weren't there. I lost count on the number of mint tins found but there certainly wasn't an oversupply. Thanks to all the CO's for placing their caches and TFTC
The final coords had us in the back yard of the property adjoining the cemetery. We must have done something wrong somewhere.

Went to this lonely cemetery on 17/10/18 after a visit to the nearby Blood Bank, located the relevant headstones, calculated the coordinates, found the cache and signed the log. The cache was in good order as was the general upkeep of the cemetery grounds, but one wonders about the future of cemeteries such as this one. There has been substantial damage to grave monuments.
Sad to see this cache looking as abandoned as the graves this morning. Container and lid separated and tossed asunder. I dawdled back to my car and scraped together a pen, a TB and some swag for future visitors. I didn't have a pen I could leave. TFTC Boos, I haven't visited this site in over 25 years when it was a site visited by Scouts under shield of night.
CO visit suggested, I did my best but can't guarantee the cache is in place as originally placed. The bag protecting the log was badly damaged; only lack of rain recently has saved the log. (Msg me if you can't get here before expected heavy rain on Friday, I can at the least re-bag the log and happy to do so.)
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Penrith for a short three day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Gateway Lifestyle Nepean Shores Holiday Park, and planning on exploring the areas around Penrith, Regentville, Jamisontown, Emu Plains, Lapstone, and Glenbrook. Will also be keeping an eye out for our final Hidden Creature, the World Turtle, whilst out on the caching trail. This was our 11th find of the day, and 11th find of the holiday.
Arrived at the cemetery and started the search, wandering around amongst the headstones until we found the two that we required, then sat down and did the computations. And, with the GPSr loaded with the new coords, it was off to final GZ to hopefully claim the prize.
Searched around final GZ and eventually found the nicely camoed cache, some 20 metres from our calculated coords, so not sure if we made an error or the cache has wandered from it's intended location. Anyway we signed the log and then replaced it as found.
We always love a good cemetery cache, and this one was no exception, so it gets a Favourite point from us. TFTC The Booos.

Took a bit of time to locate the two graves here which were required to give us the numbers needed for the new co-ords. Once that was done we were off to make the find. It was not where we thought it might be, but it was close by. Rather surprised at the size of the cache. There was a TB in residence, but as it was a TB with a specific purpose we decided to leave it there and just discover it. Thanks to The Booos for bringing us here. Pity that so many graves are now derelict and long forgotten.
Visited this grave yard this morning whilst in Penrith.
I wandered around looking for the head stones needed to gather the information required to get to GZ. Hoping that they would be legible as many I was looking at were not clear to read. Didn't have to worry found the information needed and computed my GZ.
When I reached the fence with 8 meters still to go I checked logs and saw that I could have made a mistake. so back to check my info - indeed a mistake was made. With the correct info this time a find was made and the log signed. tftc cache.
disappointed however that the previous online finder rodwoolard has not signed the log so I question his find?

Made the same error as the previous cacher. Went back and rechecked sure enough we were incorrect. Now on the right track made the find
Really enjoy this multi's in graveyards, very intetesting. Made the same error as previous finders but double checked dates and realised our error and then wasnt long before CIH
My favourite location to go caching is cemeterys. I found CD straight away but AB took a little more searching. I calculated the coords and went to my version of GZ only to find it had to be incorrect. I checked the photos of previous finders and put myself where I believe the photos were taken and then did a systematic search in all the likely spots. None of which were correct, decided to look in one last spot and had CIH straight away. On my way out I checked my numbers and from a different angle revealed the correct number, oops. SL #3158 on streak day #1784, took the TB
What an excellent cache in a fascinating glimpse of history spot. Thank you The Boos. Nice new log too. And I love the charm!!! I left some swag and exchanged tbs. Cache on and prosper!!
Really good challenge, must have walked around it 10 times before I found it, dropped a traveling, log was too wet to sign.
A nice and easy straightforward multi - l have lived in Penrith my whole life and until l started geocaching l never knew this cemetery was here (was part of another multi l did) The GPS had us a bit all over the place (I suspect the overhead trees didn't help!) but soon enough cache was found. Thanks for the find!
This multi is not hard to do. Walked through the cemetery reading the graves. Walked the short distance to GZ. After a short search the cache was soon found. The cache was found lying on the ground in the open. The log was signed and the cache was replaced where it was though to go. Thank you to The Booos for placing this cache.
#940 Drove out to Glenmore Park and Penrith (to work on the recent multis). #2 of 4 one of the multis took me to here and I had this idea that there was a multi here too. Looked it up got the information required and the systematically went around to all of the graves till I found the details that was required. This g a ve me the coords for the final. Got yo GZ and the first thing I touched was the cache. Signed the log on one of the many scraps of paper in there. I didn’t have a replacement log book with me to put in there. May need a check and a replacement log. Replaced as found thanks for the multi The Booos

What a nice neatly packaged geocache. We are a fan of graveyards, especially little peaceful ones with a bit of history like this one. We actually stopped here for lunch in the sun amongst...everyone. Was pleased to find both names relatively quickly with a systematic search- nice and clear so no need to squint and use touch to read the indistinguishable ones. Plugged in the coords to be directed to a nice spot we eyed when we first got there. I think the last people might have put the cache backwards.. or maybe we did.. but anyway we returned it with what we assumed was its camo which was floating around near it and it looked pretty nifty indeed- simple but effective idea. Another fav from us
Out and about in Penrith, always have to stop for a cemetery cache. The cache was upturned and not camouflaged as it should be. Placed it to blend in a bit more
Today I went geocaching with GeoSevabo, Skyejam & ALL7 day together. Thanks for bringing us here.
What a beautiful day for caching with sevabo & OZUK in Penrith area today. No muggles around here so it was a very interesting history but also it is sad to see all the headstones scattered on the ground. Yes its definitely favourite for me. Thank you The Booos for bringing us here.
Great day out for caching with geoladies - enjoyed this area. Thanks for leading us here
I was in this street visiting a client. Might as well clear out this multi.
Walked around for a bit until I found what I was looking for. Walked on over to GZ for a quick find. Nicely hidden here, The Booos.
The wind from the west was icy cold over this grassy and exposed spot!
Thanks for an interesting multi.

First multi. Found with my dad Buck on his first caching adventure. Thanks. Left a trackable and a starfish.
My sister recently moved into this area and I convinced her and her boyfriend to come out caching with me (turns out 2.5 yrs of caching and I'd never found a cache in March before!). Her boyfriend has always been local so knew of this place but we had a good walk around looking for the clues. Seeing the graves of babies and children always makes my heart break.
I read one of the pieces of info incorrectly so had to track back and redo my co-ords. My not BIL (maybe one day he'll get the guts to propose to my sister!) found the cache and removed the red backed guardian for me. So gets a few brownie points... I'd already noticed the cache but had thought it was something else and hadn't wanted to disturb it.
Thanks for showing me something a little interesting. SL and grabbed the travel bug to take back across to the coast side of Sydney.

Arrived at the cemetery & immediately noticed how poorly maintained the graves & headstones are, what a shame!! There was a couple at a particular grave taking photos & selfies. We wondered if it was one of the headstones we required for the necessary co ord info?? It wasn't & the guy told us it was a relative of his who was murdered in 1839. We continued inspecting the headstones & when we had the place to ourselves (so to speak), we commenced our search for the cache & this took us ages!!! Firstly because I misread the info on the headstone that we needed for co ords (oops) & secondly because our gps was all over the place. Eventually, with the corrected co ords & a moment of Gps co-operation we found the exceptionally camo'd cache. We dropped at travel bug & swag & have awarded a fp for the impressive construction. Really don't think this would be found if you weren't really looking for it. Tftc The Booos xo
My 2nd Cemetery Multi for the day. Found the first grave quickly, then looked around and located the second. Had a double check at the age on the 2nd as the number was scrolled. Put in the co-ords and headed to find the cache. GPS jumped around a bit and then settled and cache was located. Found Geocoin CCFRWA inside that was not listed in the logbook, and took it with me. Very sad seeing so many headstones damaged. TFTC

Great camo!! took us a while to find, nearly gave up but had one more try and it was there! Great fun.
Found by geomum and geokid- joint effort. Lots of navigation fun. First time using clues to find coordinates. Lots of fun
9662 + 1080 = 10742. Found during a work trip to the Penrith region.
Drove up from Canberra yesterday for a couple of days work visit. Staying at Panthers it was a quick drive over to this interesting Multi. Wandered around and found the required info, calculated GZ, and it was basically where I imagined it would be ! Quick find at GZ on a nicely set up cache.
Thanks Booos !
TNLN - TFTC !!

It pays to always double check your clues and answers as I spent way too much time looking in the wrong area. Once I rechecked my answers I soon had CIH. Another interesting place that I have visited curtesy of my fellow catchers. Tftc
Visiting Penrith area and grabbed this cache. Forgotten graves indeed. Some of them are extremely difficult to read, but we collected the required information to allow up to find the cache. TFTC The Booos. Now we have our souvenir.
This was the second cache we came to find today and, judging on the location, were pretty hopeful of a find given our last was a DNF.
All five of us got out of Blue Steel and started searching all over for the correct information.
The GeoWife went that way and the GeoHubby went this way.
GeoHubby stumbled across what looked like a fairly new gravestone and thought, 'oh wow, that's old but still so new,' before running off to try and find the correct gravestones.
After searching for about 5 more minutes, we stumbled across the first required gravestone and took note of the required information.
Another 10 minute search ensued to try and find the second required headstone but, we just couldn't find it.
That was when GeoHubby decided to check that 'newish' gravestone again and, upon arrival, realised it was in fact, the correct one.
After a few laughs about the situation, we took note of the information, quickly put the solution together and went searching for the cache.
The coordinates had us way off looking at the very edge of the cemetery where in fact, there was nowhere it could have been hidden so, after looking at some previous logs, a certain word popped up and, given the surroundings, put two and two together and from there, quickly made the find.
We took plenty of photos of us all together with the cache and, because they are all on separate devices, will have to upload them shortly.
TeamBooo, thank you so much for this cache and hunt, it was a great little cache and will be getting a favourite from us.

My goodness, this is a very old cementry, great history and nice to see the family of Mr Moore who died in 1836, maintaining his grave so well, so sad about the remainder though. Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC.
