Many thanks Aussie Fun Seakers for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.
Had some success with the cache container however I had no success with the donkey. Perhaps he’s underneath the Long grass?

Had a great day with LittleBoss2 on our way to a couple of days in Cohuna. This was another with great coords and some history. Our thanks to all the CO's who made our day so productive cache and history wise
A couple of days away geocaching with Bogonghazy. Quick, easy find. Thanks for placing the geocache
After having spent a lovely few days up at cohuna we are venturing to maryborough for a couple days. Cache was an easy find and a great excuse to pull over for a quick break.
A quick find in the company of Trouble&Co as we head from Cohuna to Maryborough. TFTC
Sad news today for Zac the donkey. A local legend who I learnt about through this great game. RIP Zac

This is one of the caches we found, with a good early start, on a great day's caching south east of Kerang in the company of fellow Geelong cachers Suscoe. Go Zac!

Suscoe headed out today in the terrific company of Phetlern.
We had a big day out with lot of finds covering many kilometres.
The countryside around this area is interesting with irrigation, hills, water, crops and livestock that were looking great.
Thanks to Aussie Fun seekers for this hide, it was great to learn about Zac as we travelled this area.

Having been very recently introduced to Zac, I found him a bit standoffish.
I find out now that it is because I had no carrot bribe.

It was a bit smelly here courtesy of the sheep population in the paddock beside the road. Last one for the day. It's time to head home.

The Sisterhood of the Cargo Pants were out on the road again today, destination an event in Cohuna. Last one for the day, as the lovely colours of dusk light the sky. Zacs old home is smellier than Zacs new home! Loved the sounds of bleating lambs nearby. TFTC
Found on our way back to Melbourne from Barham, heading home to Mackay tomorrow. Next finder be quick, there's a sweet surprise inside! TFTC
Toady we moved to Pyramid Hill stopping in the caravan park, $15 for powered site.
The day was spent visiting the hill & finding local caches.
We enjyed our driving in the farming area.

Out and about, travelling Australia, we were looking forward to seeing Zac, who has such an interesting career, but alas, he was nowhere to be seen today.
We even had the carrots for him.
Thanks for sharing this interesting spot in the countryside.

Found by Mary and David at 1545. We wondered how Zac manages Palm Sunday, and how children would appreciate his presence. Took a couple of minutes here to pin down the cache location. Our thanks to Aussie Fun Seakers.

School holidays yet again and we thought we'd stay the night in Echuca. It took us about 6 hours to get there from Maryborough and about 13 to get home.
A fun trip with only minimal rain, a handful of DNF's, some previous DNF's that are now smilies and 7 cache types found over the 2 days.
I did have a look for Zac but no sign of him.

Today was day 1 of a 2 day road trip with Team Clarmensma (GemmaSistema & becca85 and our 4 geokids - neisha07, AdamSistema, boo09 & LukeSistema). The Sistema crew left Ballarat picking up the 3 girls in Maryborough and we cached our way via Jarklin, Pyramid Hill, Leitchville, Gunbower, Torrumbarry and Moama before finally arriving and staying the night in Echuca. We had plenty of finds, a few DNFs and heaps of laughter and fun as we cached along back roads, through tiny towns, around amazing lagoons and across rivers with stunning scenery wherever we went. Thanks so much for putting this cache out for us to find and enjoy. We really appreciate it.

Find #1733 for me. Found with jtnsilo at 1:40 pm on our way back to Bendigo after a geocaching day in Pyramid Hill. Unfortunately Zac the donkey was nowhere to be seen, but we did find the cache after a bit of a scramble through the bushes to get to GZ. Thanks for the cache Aussie Fun Seakers!
No donkey seen, only very long grass to push through. Found & signed. TFTC

Started off my visit to Pyramid with a walk to the city limits. The shoulders were nice and wide, which made for good walking, and the heat of the day hadn't fully kicked in yet, which was a welcome relief.

Found with Tyred n Cranky and Geo Dog Penny
Off on a days caching up to Pyramid Hill.
We seen Zac further south from GZ as we approached but he didn't come up for a look at what we where up to.
Well my GPSr had me looking a couple of meters form the hide. it was Mr Tyred n Cranky that had made the find, only by following the, already well worn geo trail form the road in.

Went for a drive to do some caching up around the Pyramid Hill area. Took our geodog Penny with us for the day's outing and FUF009 came as well.
A quick easy grab on our way into Pyramid Hill. Would of loved to give Zac a pat and goodaye but he never came up to the fence today.
Took sheep - Left T Rex dinosaur.

The donkey was having drinks with 3 gen ys up the road, which was good, as I hate donkeys. Got a bit frustrated here until the Moose found it. Thanks for the hide.
Couldn't see Zac to pat while we were hunting. Saw him a little further along munching away merrily with the sheep. TFTC
Odd spot and got our shoes a bit wet! Zac made a no show
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
After calling for a little, Zac was not interested today. The green grass was more tempting today than a crazy lady with water up past here ankles doing laps in the long grass and searching in and around the trees. Ha TFTC
A Sunday afternoon where I was requested to make myself scarce from my home so my wife could have a party with her friends. Hmmmm, what to do???
Caching of course!
I decided to head up towards Pyramid Hill and knock off some of the caches around that part of the world.
The last time I was here I was riding past on my trip from Mittiamo to Pyramid Hill with the Murray to Moyne bike ride. A tail wind was with me that day.
Today there was no wind and the temperature perfect. What a day to cache!
On the way from the Terrick Terrick caches I grabbed this one. Unfortunately it was sitting out in the open. Oh well. I signed the log and placed it where I believe it came from.
No sign of Zac today. Out on a run getting in shape for Christmas or perhaps he was just doing whatever donkeys do on a lovely Sunday afternoon.

Nice foggy morning, didn't see Zac, we ate the carrots, and found your cache, thanks for planting it here
As soon as I pulled up Mr Ed alias Zac trotted up and put his head enquiringly over the fence. Not having the forethought to bring any carrots, i proffered some clover which he graciously accepted before I got down to business and found the cache Thanks for the story and the cache Aussie Fun Seekers
Found at 12.45pm, Zac was nowhere to be seen,

This was just a quick drive by today on my way to Pyramid Hill
But now that I am reading the cache notes back at 'home',
I wished that I had read them before I found the cache.
I saw Mr Ed, oops !! ... I mean Zac ... behind the fence
I even had carrots in the car !!
If only I had known that the two go together,
Like strawberries and cream [:o]
If I am passing by again,
I'll make sure to stop and
Give Zac that carrot I owe him

Cup Day was a good chance to head west and find a few caches.
Zac was right at the other end of the paddock today. Probably a good thing because the cache was lying just inside the fence line and was a bit of a stretch to reach. Log signed and cache returned to its normal hiding spot.
Thank you for the cache Aussie Fun Seakers.

Didn't spend a zac today - more like ten quids worth of time more than I should have. Cheers for this quirky placement - loved the Palm Sunday story.
We didn't see Zac today, but we were certainly enjoying the drive through beautiful countryside looking in top condition after recent rains. Thanks Aussie Fun Seakers.
Thanks for this roadside attraction. Zac spotted, but didn't come to his feeding station.

Making a round trip to clear a few caches nearby that haven't been able to get too for ages.
Zac was home today, and very eager for a pat. Unfortunately, we hadn't read the description and didn't bring a carrot, but he stalked us all the way along the fenceline, determined to get as much attention as he could.

Journeying back to Bendigo following a successful Cohuna Matata event, I took my usual round about way which was definitely not the most direct route to add to the numbers. A quick find then it was off to find some more before eventually arriving home late in the evening. Many thanks Aussie Fun Seakers for placing this cache.
We enjoyed a fantastic if rather HOT long weekend attending the "Cohuna Matata" Geocaching event.
With the weather in the high 30's we cached in the morning and relaxed in the pool/river in the arvo.
What a great way to explore and enjoy the area.

Making our way to Cohuna we were able to pick this one up on the way. Zac was nowhere to be seen so we fill out the log book and continued on our journey.
