It was hard getting to the cache--so overgrown in there. But once you find a way in it's super easy to find. Thanks!
It was a bit wet around this morning but glad I didn't have to wade around here. I used to know one of the Wade's that this area is named after. TFTC.
I hadn't been to this walkway before even though I had seen the Witford entrance as I have driven past on numerous occasions. And so when I came into the area this afternoon I parked on Wades Road. This was actually the second cache I looked for along the path after attempting to find 'Wade a Minute' (GC2XNB9). However, I didn't log a DNF for 'Wade a Minute' as my phone APP was simply refusing to settle, and so I will save this one off line and try again on another occasion. So when it came to finding this one, it didn't take much effort at all. Once I was at GZ, and after I waited for another muggle to pass, I located the cache quite quickly, signed the log, and got back on the path again just as it started to drizzle. So thank you avoyager for setting up not only this cache, but all of your caches. As always... much appreciated.
Tftc was a mission to find but got there in the end, we were searching in the wrong spot to begin with...it was a bit dangerous so came up and let GPS settle, found after a few mins in correct area
A bit of scurrying around through the trees, but soon found this one. Lovely walk on a nice warm day. TFTC
We decided to go for a morning walk and this location seemed perfect with a few caches along the way. Had to scramble around in the foliage a bit but soon located the cache.
Fortunately there were no muggles in sight leaving us all the time we needed.TFTC

Approached this one and saw what was required. There was a lot of vegetation but I managed to find a good entry point and so in I went. Once in, I was presented with all sorts of hint options, so picked one and started a systematic search. Had searched several when I turned to head back towards where I started, and there it was!
Glad to at least have got ONE of the Wades walkway caches today!
Recovered well and off I went. Upon exiting GZ, I found what I thought was a much quicker exit point, although slightly thicker in vegetation here- I couldn't see the path but I knew it was there, so I put my head down and barged my way out, landing triumphantly on the path about 2 feet in front of a very startled lady, hand on her heart! I'm sure the look on my face was as priceless as hers. "I thought- Gosh, that must be a very large bird!" She said, followed quickly by "Don't worry- I've had to go to the toilet many times in here too!" I was quite embarrassed so I very quickly explained about geocaching..... and off she went, hopefully without thinking that I was completely nuts!!!
Thanks for the laugh- oh, and the cache!!!

Pleased that we had bypassed this on the way out as it made up for the DNF. Very quickly located once we strayed from the path. TFTC
Had to take a little detour to get where I wanted to be.
Log book should stay nice and dry

Out with lokky1 for the day. Went to Whitford for the day for something different. Spotted it once it went into the bush, sitting out in the open.
Cache maintenance undertaken.
New container and logsheet.
Hint updated.
Terrain changed from 1.5 to 2.

Found buried in the dirt. Opened container to find log soaking wet, so unable to sign. Left cache slightly more exposed.
Make sure you explore the fairy's blanket and put back to bed once you have found it!
Another great find on a geocaching holiday in the area.
Thanks for setting up this cache.
Nice to get this one found quickly today.

Nice quick find for this one. Using the hint I knew exactly where it would be so sent Mr 4 in to get it, he was chuffed to bits to find it by himself TFTC!
969, got this on the way back to the car, a new house going up near by so going to be harder to find without being muggled. TFTC
Found ... Mrs McMike2012 & I decided we'd try a few more caches out East today ... parked nearby & after a bit of a walk ... we soon had the cache in hand ... signed off & returned. TN:LN:SL. TFTC. #742 for us.
Came across this one quite easily, however I spotted the cache container openly exposed, so after signing the log I covered it with the necessary cover from what was lying around. Thanks for the relief from a long dull day at work!!
Nice quick find. TFTC. Thanks for helping us find this cool walkway we didn't know was there
A walk along this path with MissNZT and freind. Both girls found this. Log duties carried out and now back to the car. TFTC
As I looked for a good spot to crash in without taking a big drop in altitude, I re-read the hint and spotted it from the trail. XNSL. TFTC.
I had a bit of spare time before I had to head to some work meetings not too far from here so decided to do a few caches "on the way". I initially found myself on the wrong side of the water but worked out how to get to where I needed to be. No problems finding this cache or any of the others on this walkway. TFTC, Biggles.
Decided to stay in the area to collect this three caches on the trail to get some walking in today. TFTC
easily spotted when in the right place!! - took lady bug button - left symbol of peace #35 - now to complete the walk and get find #3
5537. Out for an afternoon of geocaching in the Clevedon/Whitford region. This was find number 9. A quick and easy find after a short stroll. Did all three very quickly. Thanks. Rodney and Iris.
After a late breakfast with Davycrockpot in Whitford we wandered down the track to grab these caches. An easy find but with the recent rain a little muddy in the area. TFTC
Number 4 of the 31 days of August. Not having a good run with muggles this weekend… Came out of the bush in a totally graceless, unplanned, but spectacular fashion ending up face down on the path; looked up to see quite a few people in the nearby house that seemed to be watching my “bush exit performance”!!! Other than that an easy find while walking the dogs.

Down in Auckland visiting friends who live near by. They hadn't explored this area yet so a good excuse to go for a ramble and find some caches. Nice trail along the estuary. Managed to find the cache without too much difficulty. TFTC
Decided to collect the 3 caches along here today, quick easy find, thanks. Still no ants! TFTC
Had to wade in through a little bit of growth to get to the cache but got there in the end. Cache nice and dry and no ants today. TFTC
Find at 08:49
Next stop on my morning walk. Had to shake off the ants as the cache was covered in them. Took nothing, Left a troll.
Thanks avoyager for the smileys while visiting at Beachlands from Australia.

Nice path, wish it was longer. Found it while on a bike ride this morning. Have retrived the GC and will past it along. This is my first time I have retrived a GC, so rather happy with my mornings efforts.
Dad was on another solo mission and thought he would walk this track and go after the 3 caches along here on a beautiful Auckland day.
This one proved to be an elusive beggar. On arrival at GZ I immediately spotted a geotrail and followed it to an area that seemed to match the hint/description but I could find no sign of the cache. I widened the search to include all of the items matching the hint in the immediate area but still no luck. After 20 mins or so I gave up and headed on to Wade In. On the way back from Wade In I decided to give it one more go. Once again I followed the geotrail and then headed down the bank (even though the description said not to but there was still no sign. I went back to the track and walked back towards Wades Rd and dropped over the bank again a further 15m or so from what my GPS indicated was GZ and checked another couple of items matching the hint. Still no joy. I was about to leave with a DNF when I spotted the cache in the open 6 or 8 mtrs further on. The area did not seem to match the hint or description and was well away from where GPS was pointing. Logbook had been signed by a couple of weed sparayers who had been working in the are so I suspect they may have replaced it in the wrong spot. I have placed back closer to where GPS said was GZ in an area that seemed to match the hint. The owner may well want to check on this as I may not be in the right spot.

A nice day to be caching and a nice quiet area for a stroll with the dogs. Always good to find areas that are dog friendly. TFTC

You picked a nice spot for this one. Found it halfway down the bank where it was found and logged by muggles. Rehid better.
Thank you for placing this cache.

Wanted to do a short walk for today. So this "wade track" was our choice.
Hmm this cache took a bit longer than should be. Was still a bit tricky for us

A well maintained walkway...was muggled by a horse & rider also enjoying the walkway. TFTC
On arrival at GZ we thought we spotted a bit of a geotrail so we followed it and the cache was soon located after that TFTC.
A great way to spend a warm summer evening. As I left the carpark (the second time, after going back for a pen [:|]) it started to drizzle, and I was afraid that there was going to be rain, but it cleared up soon enough.
Collected all three caches, met a family taking the kids out for some fresh air, had an extensive chat with some kind of bird that I was unable to spot, enjoyed the scenery, got some exercise, got bitten... and was back home before dark.
Thank you for bringing me here.

Continued along the trail, getting my evening exercise, to this cache. Close to GZ, the low powered GPSr pointed further away than the hint suggested and gave me 2-3 options for GZ. Decided on the one I would choose and soon came up with the cache. Maybe it was just the dark, but it felt a more difficult terrain than 1.5. Anyway, dropped a TB. Cheers for the cache!
7713 Can confirm... definitely no wading required, neat spot along the walkway, TFTC.
Came onto her from the cache at the end of Wades Rd.
I was here a bit after low tide and noticed the unusual tracks in the mud in the stream - made by the local taniwha?????
In: Geocoin.
Cheers for the cache.
