It was really over grown and slippery. Couldn't find anywhere it might have been hidden. Better luck next I hope. Thanks.
Stopped here on the way home after a nice walk around some of Duder Regional Park. Failed here a year ago due to the cache MIA. GZ is a lttle more overgrown today but soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Swiftly spotted the cache cammo but dismissed it at first. Went back and investigated properly and soon had the cache in hand. A favourite point for the series. TFTC
Nice quick find, great camo. Ants have taken up residence and crawled all up my arm when replacing! Haha tftc
We found the other caches along this walkway a few weeks ago and were pleased to see that this one was now back in action as it gave us a good reason to return to this lovely place.
We decided to bring along the extended family this time to make it into an afternoon outing and give them a taste of what caching is all about.
The cache was very well camouflaged but we were lucky enough to begin our search in exactly the right spot and were accompanied by a particularly eagle eyed family member making the find quicker than expected. After signing the log we headed off towards Whitford with our group, many of whom were impressed with what they had seen and one step closer to catching the caching bug. TFTC.

Came back for a second check after being contacted by the CO who was kind enough to offer help while I was still in the walkway. So, armed with further hints, I gave it another shot... but I just couldn't turn it up. Sorry avoyager... I took a few photos of GZ, will send them to you later on tonight or tomorrow, hopefully that will help you determine if it is still there or not!
No luck here today. Found the chopped bamboo and had a bit of a hunt around. Coords were suggesting that I didn't really have to go off track but I checked several objects and nothing came to hand. Hopefully will have more luck with the next two!
Decided to walk to the end of the track and leave the middle cache for our return. We looked and looked but came away empty handed. There has been some serious pruning of the bamboo - all chopped - perhaps the cache has gone. We will keep watching to see if anyone retrieves it.
Second time of looking for this.
A few months ago was driven away by wandering into insecrland; which is not a land I like to visit ( although I'm getting better)
Lots of bamboo impersonating caches, but found the nice dry new log.

Well we found the tree with four trunks but unfortunately two trunks have departed from the tree due to rotting. We are pretty sure it was the right one. Could not find the cache so probably needs a CO check.
I appreciate the effort put into creating the cache container, & also that the log is protected from damp by two sealed plastic bags. TFTC

Enjoyed the walk along the walkway today.
Quickly found this one, didn't have a replacement with me but the log is wet.

Took a little time to find as I wasn't 100% sure where I was searching was correct, but after searching a bit deeper in without luck I spotted the cache on my way back up exactly where I had first looked, doh! TFTC!
We looked in wrong place to start but eventually found it after realising that there was no need to climb the fence.
Found ... Mrs McMike2012 & I decided we'd try a few more caches out East today ... parked nearby & after a bit of a walk ... we soon had the cache in hand ... signed off & returned. TN:LN:SL. TFTC. #743 for us.
A lovely walk from where I parked - south to north - then this was the final cache along this walkway. Well hidden cache, signed log then back to my car for many other caches after work, finallyl got home at 10pm!
It has been a while since we have cached out this way. Came out today to collect a couple that have hidden dates that help us with a challenge.
We ate lunch while enjoying the views from the end of Wades Rd before walking down to look for the cache. Took a bit longer than it should have to locate as we overlooked it on our first look. Thanks.

TFTC nice hide great spot must do rest of walk some time and pick up rest of caches on the track , was very damp changed the bag
Took longer than I'd like to admit to. Needed hint but got there in the end. Enjoyed looking for this, thanks.
Just dropped Mrs NZT off at airport and had breakfast at local cafe with MissNZTs friend in tow. Saw these were close so went for a walk to get them. Nice camo. TFTC
I had a bit of spare time before I had to head to some work meetings not too far from here so decided to do a few caches "on the way". I initially found myself on the wrong side of the water but worked out how to get to where I needed to be. No problems finding this cache or any of the others on this walkway. TFTC, Biggles.
Decided to stay in the area to collect this three caches on the trail to get some walking in today. TFTC
and this find makes 3 from 3 along the walk way - log was wet so we added a plastic bag around it - left symbol of peace and friendship #36 - thanks avoyger for setting this series - that completes 5 from 5 in Whitford off to Barry Curtis park for a bike with mini cachers (and to get a few more there)
Nice day for a stroll....saw a bit of blue poking out and had cache in hand pretty quick. Recovered well. TFTC.
This was on my list for the August challenge, as I didn't use it for August and it was only a few minutes out of my way today, I went in for a quick find. Log book is very damp but still just signable.

5538. Out for an afternoon of geocaching in the Clevedon/Whitford region. This was find number 10. A quick and easy find after a short stroll. Did all three very quickly. Now back to the Manukau Top 10 motorcamp for tea! Thanks. Rodney and Iris.
After a late breakfast with Davycrockpot in Whitford we wandered down the track to grab these caches. An easy find but with the recent rain a little muddy in the area. TFTC
Down in Auckland visiting friends who live near by. They hadn't explored this area yet so a good excuse to go for a ramble and find some caches. when we reached GZ was a bit worried all the clearing might have dislodged the cache but after a small search found the clever camo cache. nice hide ! . A fav from me because we loved the track and wouldn't have found it without caching. TFTC
Decided to collect the 3 caches along here today, quick easy find, thanks. Clever hide. TFTC
After spending most of the morning with the cache owner trying to get a monkey off our back it was nice to come and find some of their caches. A bit of trimming has been going on in the area but the cache is nice and safe. TFTC
Find at 08:55
I used the hint for this one in it's very exposed location. Still took a minute to retrieve from it's hide.
Thanks avoyager for the smileys while visiting at Beachlands from Australia.

Feeling very pleased with ourselves having found them all along this walkway. Was a lovely walk on a very sunny Sunday. Thanks
Found this cache before leaving the path. Third one in a row. Great morning for a bike ride and geocaching. Thanks

Dad went out to get this one to complete this track having been thwarted by muggles on the last visit. He knew the cache had been replaced but failed to register that the type of cache and location had changed. This lead to a few frustrating minutes of fruitless searching before he looked at the logs and new hint - soon after the cache was found and signed. That makes 100 for January .

Dad was on another solo mission and thought he would walk this track and go after the 3 caches along here on a beautiful Auckland day.
The description and previous logs of this one made it seem easy enough but I had no joy here despite 20 minutes or so of searching. I even had a good look on the ground around all the likely places in case the cache had been dislodged but no luck.

A quick find once we had dismissed the terrain rating as under estimated (In our opinion). A nice little walkway - the dogs enjoyed the chance for a run.

A quick find on a warm, sunny and superb geoday.
Thank you for placing this cache.

Spotted the nicely camo'd nano. The log seemed to be smudged on the waterproof paper though. TFTC
Wanted to do a short walk for today. So this "wade track" was our choice. Beautiful area. The cache was a nice, easy find
Missed this one a couple of days ago. Decided to come in from the other end instead of walking the walkway again as I was short of time. Now I realized I may have signed the log 30/2/12 and there is not 30 days in February! TFTC
Although there were parking coords for this one, we decided against parking on Wade Rd as the private property signs were pretty obvious and the road blocked with a gate. So it ended up that this was the last of the three caches found on the walkway. Sneaky little hide but soon spotted. Really enjoyed the walk and now for some dinner TFTC.
First sign of muggles, this is not a well used track.
Quick wait until the danger had passed, then another successful hunt.

A great way to spend a warm summer evening. As I left the carpark (the second time, after going back for a pen [:|]) it started to drizzle, and I was afraid that there was going to be rain, but it cleared up soon enough.
Collected all three caches, met a family taking the kids out for some fresh air, had an extensive chat with some kind of bird that I was unable to spot, enjoyed the scenery, got some exercise, got bitten... and was back home before dark.
Thank you for bringing me here.
