I think this one is gone. Two trees side by side have been blown over. Looks like the cache has fallen out. No sign of it. Bitsprayer may need to check this one next time he is in the area.
Searched for a while here. There is a tree down at gz so cache possibly came down with it.
Did a victory dance when we found this easy catch with a gorgeous view of the river. TFTC

Finally, the day has come and I have arrived to New Zealand. This three week long trip has been planned for more than 6 months. First of all, I was going to visit my daughter and her boyfriend, who has been on the islands for almost one year, next was to see as much as possible of both North and South islands. My daughter had done a day to day planning on where to go and what to see. This trip was not planned as a Geocaching trip, but we should definitely search for some caches all over the islands.
Day 20. Cromwell – Mt Cook
A shorter trip from Cromwell to Mt Cook was on the program for today. A few stops was made on this trip. This was one of the caches we found. Logged together with Klövsson and Familjenloov. Tftc

Nach einem anstrengenden Wandertag, ein ruhiges Plätzchen am Fluss gefunden und noch schnell zwei Caches gefunden. Erfolgreicher Tag . TFTC
For some reason this wouldn't show up on the live map on my phone, or the compass rose. I knew vaguely where GZ was but not close enough to even be worth searching. There are an awful lot of old willows there. Hopefully the system will debug before my next visit later in the year.
cache is still there despite the signs of a recent party within a few meters of GZ. cheers
Stayed a night at the campsite and grabbed this on the way out. Thanks for the cache!
This is the second day of my two-day trip from Invercargill to Christchurch, grabbing a few caches on the way. A wet start to the day, but improved as the day went on. A quick find in the rain - signed log in the car and returned as found. Thanks for the cache Bitsprayer.

Thank you Bitsprayer.
Thank you Bitsprayer.
BaldEd and I had teamed up again and were working as a team for the rest of the day. One finds the cache while the other signs it.
Cheers for the cache.

Thanks to all the owners of the geocaches that we found today around Omarama and on the way to Clearburn, Ohau & Lake Ohau, Twizel and Mount Cook Village. Tonight we can rest at the foot of the impressive Mount Cook ... what an experience!

Finally, driving passed this area and noone was there. Time to collect.... Homeward trek after our winters tour down the West Coast. The weather is great (though cool), and the scenery fantastic. What a beautiful country we live in. Thanks for the hide.
We spent the nice in the camping area, and enjoyed a wee walk in the am. No muggles in the cold weather.
Last cache before Omarama because this was muggle free and the planned other one wasn't.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Drove right up to this one and made a quick find.
Found on a round up in the area with DebsNZ and Aoraki Sheep.

Barking up the wrong tree again but eventually found it. Area was relatively busy but still managed. TFTC
Nice easy find, even with tents all over the place, one within a meter of this cache. No people around to make it hard either.
Our first cache for the day about 113km from home. Were surprised how many people camped down here and were greeted by a couple of dogs who just never gave up barking the whole time we were there. We also had a look at the interesting way some of the campers heated their water. One of them was obviously a plumber. An easy find right beside somebodies shower tent but there were no muggles other than the four legged variety anywhere to be seen. We wondered where they had all gone for lunch.
Wanted to get this one but there were people camping right next to gz so had to keep on driving past. Next time....
