Logs
Probably not a good idea to attempt this one after another DNF at Pikku's Nightmare Resort. However, I was tempted by a recent detailed log, and a well built set of stairs to use for the initial ascent. Had no luck (in hindsight, should have paid more attention to the hint rather than the detailed log).
Was following a previous commenters directions but gave up part way as I wasnt prepared for the bush bashing required
Incredible cache! Really good spot but unfortunately I found a v*pe inside, not sure if this is really that accessible anymore but anyway. TFTC =)
seeing the description is very old, i will give you directions, as you have to bush bash a bit. take the little trail with steps, go past the rock wall on your left . there is a sloping flat rock to your left, head for that, then keep right of the old gum. there is a gap in the rocks up onto the next ledge. its hidden in base of tree. lots of bracken fern. TFTC
Thank you for the cache ! In fact, we found it on the 10th of July but we forgot to log it..
For todays geo adventure, I had just finished some fishing at forty baskets beach (no luck today) and I thought why not give this cache a second shot. I tried this one a few years back, but we just couldnt get a grasp on GZ. But today I was on my own. After carrying my bag and rod up the path I approached the big rocks. Looking at my map I still had to walk 35m through the dense bush, so instead I chucked my gear on top of the rocks and climbed up there via the fallen down tree trunk. After some careful climbing and bush bashing over the rock ridge, I approached GZ where it was a quick find, with a really cool container. Opening up the cache which looked at least 60 years old, I found a nice log book and pen which I signed then replaced as found and begun the treacherous trek back to the path.I loved this cache and ill be sure to drop a favourite point on this, fitting for my 150th find.#150, TFTC
We had a great time exploring to find this cache, it was quite an adventure as the the tail was closed off so we had to make a massive detour.
It was hard to get to but I had fun reading who had found it also I left a free grilled burger voucher for anyone who wants it
Wasn’t easy to get to but that could be poor navigation - cool spot and kids loved the find
Track definitely overgrown and hard to see, but got there. Always love seeing this type of cache container, especially in the city. TFTC!
Nice find with a bit of bush bashing, I kept the travel bug to put in the cache Reservations on the other side of the dog park
Fantastic location, fun search, unexpected location. Great container. No pen but it deserves one so left mine.
Did a full loop around but not on point without shoes today. Happy new year. Will have to come back
Quite well hidden off the track. Lots of trinkets. My first geocache! Unfortunately no pen, only the cap, so I can't sign the logbook. I might come back and leave a pen.
Struggled with this one. Walked basically all the way around it, but never got closer than about 40m but facing dense bush and rocks from there to the cache. Either I missed a track, or this isn’t really “a short walk through native bush” haha. The most obvious track to the cache has a sign at the start saying it is unauthorised and closed by the council - they don’t want people tramping over native plants, it seems.
Perhaps an indication of where is best to enter the bush to access this cache would help. From the bottom (ie manly to spit walk) or from the top (ie Wellings Reserve parking area) maybe … although I tried both without success !

Gorgeous location, a bush bash and rock hopping. Met a very concerned cockatoo at the cache. Beautiful view. Clues were excellent. TFTC,
Bit of a bush bash. Someone muffled it and left the contents spread over the ground. Fixed now. Needs a pencil when the next person comes in.
The pen has unfortunately run out of ink! Please take a new pen/pencil to log your find.
Damo. I found your cache Wellings Reserve on 8/10/20, 1:45 pm. This is my find 2738 and find # 8 today. After reading previous logs, I decided to try from the top. Parked at s33.48.125 e151.16.068. Found a track that led about 40 meters from GZ, then a bush bash. Found this way not too bad. Make sure you have backtrack on your GPSR to find your way back. A easy find once at the ridge line, no need to climb down. Photo from GZ. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Tftc bit tricky getting to the GZ. Hint is a little off as the hide spot isn’t scorched but instead rather prominent
Second time looking for this one, and finally found it. Trusted the coordinates and there is some bush bashing so keep going!
Tricky one. Not really easy to get too. Pen is not working anymore. Bring one when looking for it
Last person who found it did not lock it. Terrain needs to be pushed to 3 or 4. TFTC! Niceeeee
A really nice little bit of bushland with spectacular views.
I scrambled my way up to the GZ and made a quick find.
After discovering the tb and signing the log i sat and enjoyed the vista for a while before descending.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.

Our second time back to this one after being unsuccessful first. After a tough and scary climb, with lots of bush bashing, Master 8 found it!
I found it after an hour if searching my mum told me to come back when I turned on the phone and it said it was right behind me I looked in a tree and found next time please hide it somewhere easier
We came within 29m but after reading others posts, came to the conclusion it’s too difficult after fallen trees and over grown plants. We went round in circles and attempted from the top and bottom. This was our first experience so we’re very disappointed
TFTC Took us a while to find the appropriate means of access, but so loved this spot. Thanks for bringing us here!
After the recent wild weather, the track was littered with downed trees, and chocked with new growth.
I tried, but was unable to get myself to within 20 - 30m of where my gps wanted me.
However it’s entirety possible that my phone was not doing its best work under the canopy.
Regardless, I couldn’t spot a location that matched the hint, definitely not within the scope of a T2.
I hope that the identifying trees are still standing, and in just a bit unobservant.

Well success again but not without much bushwacking to get to QZ, couldn’t find an easy way up, TFTC!
With Pinnstef57- we took the hard way but managed the find. Tftc. Dropped a trackable that has a goal of getting to Antarctica. This is the closest I can bring it this trip. Hopefully whoever picks it up will move it closer to its requested destination.

Hier ging es vom kleinen Weg aus mitten in den Bush. Quasi über Stock und Stein bin ich geklettert um in einem Baum die Munitionskiste zu finden.
