I definitely wasnt wearing the right shoes for this cache, but I looked all around the tree and into the shrubbery. I wasnt game enough to reach into the bushes, but it didnt look like anything was in there anyway. Is highly possible the cache is there and I just couldnt find it c:

Thanks to Phetlern for placing a new cache for this location. The previous hide was a victim of the recent floods. The new cache is a few metres from the previous hide and should now be floodproof. Checked on it today and all is good.

Geoturtle37 and I had a great time travelling with The Drovers, Suscoe and Phetlern, around Swan Hill and its surrounds searching for smileys. We were lucky to find many with only a few DNF's. We arrived to find that the area was still wet from the recent floods and weren't sure we would find the cache. We all spent quite some time looking around the area but no luck. Phetlern replaced the cache with the CO's permission which was great as we now have another smiley.
Thank for placing this cache for us to find.

**S37 59.051 E143 47.753**

With the memory of the Rutherglen Mega still utmost in our minds, we set a course for Swan Hill, to spend a few days caching around the border area with Suscoe, Geoturtle, Papi and The Drovers. It was fascinating to learn about the importance of the lakes in this area.

Cache appears to have disappeared. After sorting out who the CO was, we place an emergencny log and container at S37 59.051 E143 47.753. CO gave us the OK to place a fresh log and container.

To maximise the space on cache logs for future cachers, we logged our visit as "B Team"

Thanks to the Owner for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Hi Team Megradel, I found Lake Leaghur today. I found this container a little bit of a way away from the GZ. Just out in the open. Almost as if it had been carried away by water. Put it back where I believe it should be.

Many thanks Team Megradel for providing and maintaining this game piece for our enjoyment.

Suscoe was heading home today after a terrific caching trip around the Kerang region.
We were making our way back down south to our home base.
It was a warm day with sunshine and some cloud. there was a bit of wind too.
The roads were pretty quiet.

Thanks to Team Megradel for this placement, we really had no idea of the extent of the lakes around this region.
We were glad that we took this direction to get to our home.

Found on our way home from our trip to Lake Boga, where we saw the Catalina airshow and display, went fishing, and of course cached our way around as well.

We detoured off the road to check out this Lake, as we had just come from Lake Meran which was truly picturesque with a full body of water. Chunk commented that he could see some campers ahead in amongst the trees, but Chook couldn't see them so she just assumed they were a bit further away than her eyesight allowed. Chook continued chatting merrily away as they walked to towards GZ (really? Chook continually chatting?). Finally Chunk turned around with an urgent 'shhhhh' and then the penny dropped. The campers were camoflaged duck shooters on the opening weekend of the hunting season, and they weren't impressed with us invaders. We quickly and quietly signed the log and hoofed it out of there and didn't go any further to get better views of the lake.

TFTC The Morris. We will have to check the lake out properly on our next trip up through Kerang.

Find #1541 @ 1509H

Seeing that the skys were kinda clear I decided to head off on a small cache hunt (small in number not in distance) A total of 9 cache grabs but with a distance of 250ks round trip for the day.

A decent sized cache hidden in an interesting location. I have never been up to this area before little lone to these lakes. After finding the cache I went for a short stroll to check out the area.

TFTC The Morris and thanks for showing me this area

Heading home from Broken Hill with Dr Who after doing the fireworks for their annual show. We spent the night at lake Meran and had no idea this lake was even here.
It is good that it is not being developed and being left natural.
We pulled up and Dr Who 2 had the cache in hand before the GPSr had a chance to settle.
After adding our name to the log we replaced the cache and commented on how long since this cache had been found.
Many thanks The Morris

Journeying back to Bendigo following a successful Cohuna Matata event, I took my usual round about way which was definitely not the most direct route to add to the numbers. A quick find then it was off to find some more before eventually arriving home late in the evening. Many thanks The Morris for placing this cache.

I have driven past the signs for this lake for a long time, but never pulled in there. Here was my chance to use geocaching as an excuse to scope out a potential new fishing spot. A quick and easy find and I will be back probably with rods and bait. TFTC

Found by Roma and Max.
We are on a roll now and searching in an area where Max's cousin farmed for many years.
Good numbers again made for an easy find.
It is good to see so much water here again after so many dry years.
We signed the log and made no exchange.
Thanks again The Morris for bringing us back here.
Cheers,
from Romax.
