This has been muggled and I am moving 5000km's away soon so best to archive.
Looked around but GPS jumping around also. No success. A fence had been demolished and was on the ground in pieces if that was the original hiding place.
Being a die hard EELS fan I was hoping to grab this but after an extensive search I phoned a previous finder and he confirmed my search location. After another look I can confirm this one isnt where others have found it.
This one needs some attention by the owner.

searched around in a bunch of nooks and crannies and could not find the cache
there were however a bunch of Ganesh statues close by as last week was the festival of light for our Hindi friends.. i believe that the park was the centre of a big celebration... maybe the crowd found this cache?
best of luck to the next lookers

My one DNF this morning; either my mojo took a while to wake up or my phone GPS was slow to wake up... either way I found several likely hiding places and all were empty. The cache was found only a week ago so it's probably there - although there were signs of groundsmen having pulled a few old rotten logs out. Perhaps I'll come back with the GPSMap62...the big guns!
Was near ready to give up and had started reading through the logs for insperation when geo-wife put the call up that she had the cache in hand. Very sneaky. TNLN-SL.
Thanks For The Cache

5 of 5 at parramatta park, very nice stroll with sevabo and skyejam and friends, our friend yell to all girls, welcome girls come here and looked on the trees, was not..... oh [:0] very tricky to us [:0], very clever hide well... also he is first time found one... thanks....
Unbelievable! What a clever and trick hide!!! Our muggle friend who is 79 yrs old and he found it before us. TFTH SL
Wow, we [4 cachers and 2 muggle friends] walked around and around and past the hole several times. muggle friend found it for us. excellent hide...
Last find on the way back to the car. Had to be weary of the greenskeepers, but we found the hidey hole quite quickly. Again pendlebury made the grab and signed on behalf of both of us. Great to resume caching with him as he was the one that introduced us to the sport! Shame about the eels season though, glad they didn't win the spoon. TFTC
Last find of a great day caching with AB. Will have to continue our experiences together. TFTC. SL
Nice quick one after a visit to the map shop.. Thanks!!

great sportsfield. I think this is my last log in Australia (nr 78). it has been a great experience.
3rd Day on holiday around Sydney. Great weather again and more good geocaches to locate. Soon had this one found. SL TFTC
Had to come to Parramatta this afternoon to pick up a map at the Map Centre. The women who run this place are so helpful so after that was done debated about walking to here.
After a hard walk yesterday took the easy option and drove to within 300m and walked. Got close and as I was looking around a Noisy Miner (Manorina melanocephala) dived down and started to attack the object hiding the cache.
What a give away. If only they were around at more caches when I'm struggling.

Was over this way for work and to keep the August geostreak going I headed in behind the stadium and made a quick find despite the workers nearby. The shipping containers were open and some blokes were coming and going but I think I got in and out undetected. Took the TB and left a GC.
Ah the Eels. I remember watching the 1981 grand final and although I backed Newtown I wasn't sorry to see Parra win their first premiership. The fans burned down the old Cumberland Oval grandstand to celebrate as I recall and spent the next couple of years playing their home games at Belmore. Silly.
The Parramatta side of the early 80s was probably one the best ever. Ray Price, Sterlo, Brett Kenny, Mick Cronin, Steve Ella, Eric Grothe (snr) - wow.
Thanks!

A fine morning's caching in Parramatta Park. Lots of cricketers in the nets. Sadly for the CO Parra are having a forgetable season. TFTC

After another painful loss I couldn't find it. A friend was with that had found it previously and it wasn't in it's previous location
Another great day to go geocaching and was happy to put this one in the find column. TFTC
My GPSr showed a different location, but it was in an obvious location so we easily made the find. TFTH
Reperio at 1505. This was the final cache in this series around Parramatta Park, and at last, the rain had eased off a little. Parked the car and walked over the footbridge and up the mound to GZ, and given the hide location, it didn't take too long to spot the cache. I do wonder how long it will be until a curious junior muggle checks it out. Enjoyed the series and the walk around the park.

While some young cricketers set up for some practice, I snuck in and did the cache duties unobserved, thanks ChristneVista a top spot.
We enjoyed the walk from the Parramatta Park side of the river pass the flying fox roosting area. Spotted an obvious spot at GZ and Mrs jkcourtz sat down and retrieved while I kept an eye on the young cricketers practicing nearby, thanks.
1st for the day, nice & quiet in the mid-morning, taken TB to move on, thanks TFTC / TFTH / SL
Perfect day to find this one. Bright sunshine and the mighty eels are playing on Monday night so no muggles. Dropped travel bug. TFTC

I should of found this straight away but my GPS was jumping all over the place. Once it stop jumping around I could see the obvious spot and there it was. Yeah! My 80th find.

This is quite close to home, but each time I thought about grabbing it I didn't have the correct attire on. Today I did. So off the geoboy and I headed to the stadium to find this cache. The tractors were about, but no sign of the gardners, so we had to find the cache ourself. Zac was very pleased to find it and grabbed the ten-pin in exchange for a super ball. Planning on dropping by again on Monday night to see a big victory (not the sort you're thinking .
did it with ease...afterwards had lovely walk around the park with leosoul and kiddo...TFTC
With a nice group of newish caches in Parramatta Park and the weather too sodden to go very far bush, we decided to enjoy a bit of urban caching today. The parking near here is easy so it was a great spot to start from.
I don't actually vote for the Eelsbut I thank them for the excuse for a cache

I was in Parramatta for work and had a couple of hours before meeting my clients. I was keen to complete this cache today especially as I had seen Nathan Hindmarsh just minutes before in the club carpark. Arrived at GZ to find the workshop containers opened and a couple of workers standing within 15m of them. I had a brief look around and saw an obvious hiding spot complete with outer camouflage. I moved away and sat where I could observe the workers. Actually, the term "workers" was a bit of a misnomer as they didn't appear to be doing too much at all. They stayed within the vicinity so I decided to leave this one for another day. Thought I'd log a note rather than a DNF as, apart from arriving at GZ, I didn't search for the cache. I'll be back!

I was a bit annoyed at Geowife for getting to this one before I did. She is a mad Parra supporter since she grew up in the Hills District. I grew up in the heart of Illawarra territory, so there are no prizes for which team I go for. Anyway, Geowife wrote Go Parra! in the logbook. NOT HAPPY. But thankyou for the great day out with the Geofamily and two friends that we introduced to the great game of the outdoors. Go the Dragons in 2012.
Great hiding spot. Thanks ChristineVista for the cahe.

The last of my five quick lunchtime caches on a stroll whilst killing time between meetings.
There was a big shin dig on in the stadium for Hindy's 300th game this weekend. I'm a Tigers Man though, so i was fairly indifferent to all of the cheering!
Cheers

A quick one here during our geohike from Wentworthville Stn to Parramatta Stn. TFTC!!
Another great Parramatta cache! This one had me stumped for a while then did a lil' geodance, SL, dropped off a plush kangaroo and took a vanilla perfume big thanks! I hope your team wins
This cache has to be checked. A council worker found the cache and actually gave it to us while we were looking suss. He didn't seem to mind us putting it back but that could of changed after we had left. TFTC SL
Easy find with the council handing the cache out to cachers. CO Might need to check this one out...........
Found this one very easy as its in clear view of anyone walking past. We place a little camo so it would not be muggled.

Was already parked in Parramatta Park so we walked across the bridge near all the fruit bats, which tend to fly over hear about 4km away at night. Spotted the camo reasonably quickly and had the cache in hand with nobody around the area this afternoon. Thanks ChristineVista.
On a sunny winter's day with a billion muggles in the park, what with the usual things as well as a medieval fair happening, this was a nice quiet little corner, far from the madding crowd. The WaywardWoman turned it up before I even stopped dancing about with the GPS. Thanks
Apart from having to wait for a workman and a few muggles to go by, this was an almost instant find walking toward it. TFTC
I found thia one at lunchtime. The came was on the ground, but the cache was in place. I don't think this was the work of cachers or muggles, maybe an animal lives in the hide!?!

Thought I'd sneak in a quick cache this evening after work to finish the financial year. So I chose a Christine Vista newbee near the home of her beloved Eels. What an eventful evening. Saw the Eels train, wasted time trying to interpret the gate closing sign to work out whether I had time to drive up to the cache, and found it after a bit of a search. Just want to say, that this time it wasn't out in the open it was well hidden. Just a note to other cachers, it's our job to ensure caches are put back in their original locations and hidden from Muggles. Christine, I returned it to it's hiding place so don't worry about it getting muggled. Excellent cache for Eels fans by the way. Loved it. TFTC.
Geowife spotted this one, as it was exposed in it's hiding position and lucky not to have been muggled. After signing the log we returned it and provided some cammo.

Didn't have this cache in the GPSr. Luckily I bumped into Toriaz and she was kind enough to tell me about this cache and give me the co-ords.

As I approached GZ mid afternoon, I spotted the clearly visible cache from several metres away, along with a bunch of what was obviously the camo laying on the ground in front. All seemed fine and the workers nearby seemed not to have seen it so I took a break and scored the find.
I left the Heerener geocoin and headed back to whence I came.
Overall, 2.kms walk return, evn though the GPS said it was only 750m to the cache - you can't trust those croks*.
Thanks for a reason to take the wander.

Dropped by Eel territory after work this evening, in the dark.
I wasn't sure where to park, but you have a number of options here and the walk won't be too long in any case.
I think I wandered into the maintenance area by mistake, but soon my GPSr settled down and I began to check likely hiding places.
Soon I had CIH. A nifty little spot . . . My Oregon 300 made it about 4-6 metres away from the published coordinates, but this is plenty close enough.
Cache container was in good shape and the contents were dry. TNLNSL.
Many thanks to ChristineVista.
