I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi bumandworkerThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Sorry to bother you again reviewers, but cleaning up the Nelson area takes quite some archiving. See log below for details on this one.
Needed to find a cache today to fill a hole in the calendar. This was the closest unfound, after not finding GC41MQN that is. Logs seemed to indicate an easy find so I happily attacked this hill in almost dark conditions. I had trouble finding the start of the track (later it turned out the track is not correctly drawn on the geocaching map). I bush bashed through high vegetation on a steep hill but slowly made progress until I happily found the actual track. After that it was quite easy to reach GZ, although I passed a major slip. At GZ there was nothing indicating the hint: no post, no fence, nothing even remotely like there had been either of those. Also the path itself seemed like it was re-bulldozered recently. I had to abandon this one as well. When I came back down I saw a big sign: 'NO GO AREA - pending repairs'. So clearly this path has been hit by one or more big slips and the cache has been lost. Also no way to replace, since the area is deemed dangerous and GZ has lost the hint item. Will suggest archiving this one.

#11,356. Picked this one up while on the walk up and down the hill to the PWGT cache. We checked the first obvious spot but not well enough. Checked across the track to another spot. Not there either so came back and had a better look. Yep there is the cache. Signed the logbook and replaced where found. Thanks bumandworker for hiding it here. Enjoying the exercise on a bright, crisp (=frosty) and sunny Nelson winter morning. Lovely views from up here.

Tantragee - what a strange name.
Something to do with tantric things?
Cache found easily, as previously mentioned, was a bit wet, but I dried it to the point it was signable OK.
Kia ora! Paldies!

Overall in a easy find, it was quite wet so I dried it out in the sun for a few minutes. Before placing it back in its hiding spot
Thanks!
Thanks!
A quick up and down walk for us this morning with our 2 juniors on the newly touched up track. A nice quick find. TFTC
A nice quick find on the way up to the PWGT cache, thanks.
Another long weekend, another wee road trip, this time up to Golden Bay area, with Ms_KR. The daylight hours are are certainly getting shorter, but luckily the weather is mostly dry and warm. Today we cruised from Motueka to Nelson.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

I've never been out this way before so today was more of recon ahead of another visit. Quick find of the cache. Thanks bumandworker, your cache is in good condition.
Quick find coming down from doing the GeoTour cache. Would have expected more recent finds. Unless I am going the wrong way?
The box located in the grass nearby. Found by luck and deposited on the sign. TFTC
I stayed in the car with the windows down to keep it cool while Andy wandered up the hill to this cache. Eventually he arrived back which indicated that he had found the cache. If he hadn't he might still be up there now. tftc
What a climb for us folks from the prairie!! At home when our GPS says 261meters in a given direction, it might be just a smidgen longer, but generally not much longer!! Here.....there can be a hill to get over...or switchbacks!!! We just kept walking and climbing; getting closer, then farther away, closer, then farther away!!! A hot climb for the prairie folk!! But we enjoyed it, even though we were a little out of breath! A quick find once we got to GZ. Thanks for the hide and smiley!
As I was wandering back down the track from a cache further up, I approached this spot and the memory of the cache here came to mind. I wondered if it was still where I remembered it being. I checked there and after a bit of digging unearthed the cache. No log in the container though. I wondered if it had been found recently. I checked my phone and saw that it had and also the mention of a different location. I checked there and found the new cache with a log in it. I put the new cache in the old place - as per the hint - and took the old cache home to clean it up and hopefully recycle it or return it to the CO.
I walked a wee way up this track with paddle chick as she was going up further to stay the night at one of huts but changed her mind as it was too windy .We searched for ages and it wasnt where pc found it with no luck as there had been a lot of clearing of rubbish so we replaced it near the tree covered with a rock.Thank bumandworker
We wanted a wee walk and thought we might have time to head up here before the rain returned. A quick find and we carried on a little bit further, many years since we have been around this area so it was good to remember and revisit the area tftc
Very cold start to the day with frosts everywhere. Brrr. Off for a shopping expedition to Nelson, dragging along The Seagnoid for some much needed advice and chauffeur duties. Thankfully, did not take all day so we are off for a walk at the back of Nelson and maybe a treasure or two. Found it. Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers
TaybeeDragon is getting enthused about tramping, so we headed into Nelson to get a proper tramping pack, a good sleeping bag and some good shoes and a few other odds and ends. Not fully kitted out yet, and the 40% off sale sure makes a difference! I picked out some gaters for me, as I am sick of pulling hook grass out of my socks [:(!].
But... Now we're in Nelson. And I fancy a walk, so we headed to the edge of town where a ton of little green boxes beckon. Just got 10 for the day.
We zigzagged up here from the car park below for a nice easy find, once we stopped looking at the obvious place and checked out the other obvious places! Then along the old railway...

jogged past this a few days ago, and all was well with this one then. it will be there.
Found while doing a bit of caching and walking with Sidewaze and the Cretan Runners. A beaut afternoon. TFTC
First cache found today on a nice walk in an new area for us. We had our friends Libertee and Sidewaze with us to show us some new places. Thanks for the cache.
A pleasant, early evening stroll up here with a more straight forward find than I had been expecting - one the trickle of muggles had wended their way past.

In Richmond for a wee family holiday. Heading out of The Brook after visiting the santuary - stopped off and raced up the hill for a quick find and sign. Nice one. Cheers.
Back up the track today to have another look for this cache and of course it was an instant find. When comparing notes after the last visit it seems we each assumed the other had checked that spot so a return visit was planned. In the meantime the CO has confirmed it was still there and it only took a very short time before we were signing the log. Thank you bumandworker.
Definitely humble pie for tea tonight Without GPS I walked up to GZ, bent down picked up the cache and signed the log. Then, although a few days late, we went trick-a-treating. Thank you Bumandworker for the ultra fast cache check and placing it of course.
It's almost embarrassing to post a DNF for this given everyone else has found it easily.

Our original easter plan since ages ago was to go hiking. Every night staying in a DOC hut. We had already planned out a route, and a backup in Mt Richmond Forrest park... however the weather sort of ruined that...
We instead kept on driving to Nelson, and decided to do various day and overnight trips - jus to throw that DOC hut in the mix.
Today it was time to go up to Third Hut, and then do an overnight trip out to Hackett Hut.
Last one... I was looking at the wrong bases!!! Oh but it was so obvious! haha

It was a few days ago, I had come off the Dunn, trying to keep up with StickmanNZ who was on the bike when he yelled back over his shoulder, "You've got that one eh"? Aaaahh, NO! But I have now. I can't believe it's not logged more often, TFTC.
Another lovely day in Nelson and time for a lunch time walk. It's always disconcerting with zig zags that at times you seem so close and then you walk away from GZ before coming back. Worth the stroll for the as always. TFTC
Another geocaching walk with me in the frontpack, always a good chance for me to get some sleep! Today we got 5 caches for me with no DNFs, and 3 were just for me because mummy and daddy had found them before. This was the first of the day, the trip up here was much faster today than when I came up in mummy's belly in December. TFTC!
Kind of strange to visit places I've heard of but never been to. Cache number one on a walk up the hill and down again. TFTC
Very slow ride up the walkway, pleased to get off my bike and have a rest. Found quickly then back on the track again. Forgot my pen so logging photo of log instead
A short stroll up the hill, casually skipping through the occasional dog doo (don't get me started) the only hindrance to a thoroughly pleasant excursion. Co-ords spot on and a very mild evening with still enough light at 8.45pm, bring on the summer! TFTC
Out an a hike today from Nelson and doing a part from the Dun Mountain Walkway.

Having already found over 20 caches for the day, you would think that I would be worn out. Nope, there was still plenty of light left (I'm really liking this daylight saving!) so it was off to find some more.
Being a bit of a train buff, I had seen mention on a map of the oldest railway in New Zealand. I thought it might be worth a look. I found the required car park and set off up the hill to this one. Found it quite quickly and then it was off further up the hill.
Thanks again, bumandworker

Last cache of the afternoon, came for a quick walk and a quick find. Signed log, TFTC!
GPS havin a bit of moment today, very cloudy looks like rain ,maybe that had somthing to do with it,Found it all the same and enjoyed the walk with geo mutt.. nice spot TFTC
Far too nice a day to be inside but that is where Mrs Sobad had to be. Finally said she needed a short sanity break and this was ideal. Just started on the walkway when we were greeted by two loud tuis - and more birdsong as we strolled along. Lots of other caches still to do in this area but unfortunately not today. Thanks.
A quick find, but alas the wrting instrument failed, hang on there's another one on the geo trekker, back down the hill but nup wrong! Will sign log when we next pedal past here! TFTC
nice break from work and a good enticement to wander up the Tantragee with Shelby the choc lab pup. Kept going and made a loop of the walk. Cheers.
Called by to test the gammy knee while on my way to the Brook. The knee is nearly back to its caching best, thank goodness.
Nice view from here.

Had fully intended on doing this on a loop walk from home one fine day. Well today was fine but I hadn't intended doing it. TFTC #2470
We too found this cache cause we were on the wrong track for a nearby cache !! legs really didnt like us by now but we carried on up to the cache because it was there and we where already part way there thanks for bringing us to another walk we didnt know about signed log thanks for the cache
Our tiring bodies weren't to impressed heading up the hill again even for a cache!!! It was ashame that we followed suit and were in the wrong area for the cache we were after. Grabbed this one enjoyed the view before correcting our error and locate the next cache. TFTC
Nice easy walk up the hill nice to find a cache after I took the wrong way up to find another one nearby
Is a regular walkway for us sowas nice to have a stop on the way for a cache. Thanks!
Nice easy one- a good excuse to nip out and take the dog for a walk in between rainshowers1 Good one, thanks.
Due to a woeful technology failure I placed two containers within 100 m of this cache. Came back to remove them and place them elsewhere. So when this near, might as well do the cache that is here! TFTC.
I left Kiwi Eplorer and Ellie at the gate with the car (as they'd already found this one). They drove down and I met them at the bottom after finding the cache. Been up here a few times but not for a while. TFTC, Biggles.
A short walk to fill a calendar day. Great to see this section of track accessible again and dogs allowed. I'll be back with Ellie to knock off the rest of the new ones over the next month or so. TFTC.
