Even thou the last log said it was broken geosister and geodog H423L and Tonka we went for this one. I’m sure it would have been a awesome cache to get. I tried to fix it but unfortunately while trying I got bitten by Inch ants
OMG. They hurt. Sure everyone in Mildura heard my screams. One on the foot and one on my finger
So I didn’t complete the fixing but I’m sure the CO will

Sadly we did not get to experience this one in all its full glory. Although hellyonfire did get to experience two inch ant bites. Thanks for the effort on this one and TFTC
Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.
We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.
We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity.
It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

Over from SA for 4 days of caching with Egregory1, Featherwaite and Brisal5.
We came primarily to do the Paddlesteamer series but picked up orthers as we drove around.
Apologies for the generis logs.
All caches we found were in good order.
Thanks to all cache owners whose caches we found.

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!
Clever geo, found with 2 others. Unfortunately the cache needs some work. Storm damage perhaps?
Omg love this cache!!!
I was so close to giving up I kept looking in the wrong place lucky Knipe raider was there to spot it. Really great idea really made me smile once I was this cache it amazing to see so many different ideas

We are trying to get a badge ,the author ,from project GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to get badges for adding photos to our found logs .
We started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full-time, living in a caravan for almost 2 years now, caching fits in well with this lifestyle. It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone. When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there in order to get the caches we want.
We are in Mildura for a few days and will try to get some caches in town and surrounding areas. We are looking forward to the variety of hides we will encounter. Thank you for your work in placement and ongoing effort for maintenance of caches.

Enjoying dusty Mildura this week. Seriously. half the mallee topsoil followed us into town
We are holidaying together as a family team, so logs with the team Mattycat stamp include Purrfect Di, Jack, and Sebastbat as well as teen muggle Alex.
Some may get some initials as well All have made us smile
Mildura and surrounds certainly have some notable caches.
Many well constructed hides and clever clues. Well done to the local caching community
Fav for the construct here. We looked for ages in the bushes, or what was left of them, nearby.
Eventually it clicked! There is is.

Brilliant! Bingo finally. Mildura heat! Cracked 40 degrees out on the bike but some tree cover and tragic obsessive behaviour had me locating a few more caches - and that’s after the 6th puncture! So just a few more before departure to Melbs to collect car and then maybe head home to NE Vic IF the roads are open. Thanks to the Mildura CO’s for so many fun, interesting and challenging caches. Cache heaven!
Tftc. Very clever. I have come across one like this before. Gets a favorite from me
Another great cache in this area. I spent a little time going round in circles getting nowhere before I thought I better have a closer read of the description for this one. That's when the penny dropped and I remembered finding a cache near Ballarat that I was hoping that this one would be hidden a similar way. Soon enough I found that visual clue and I soon had the cache in hand and log signed. Great work doheng, very nicely crafted cache, Mrs Perpetuallylost was most disappointed she waited in the car while I found this one! Cheers
Travelling around Australia, today we threw the GeoBike on the car for Mr Felix to tackle the last few Turtles and a few more caches around Kings Billabong before the rain tonight.
Just before lunch 11.30am and Mr F was on his bike to see what else he could find. Managed to find your cache today. Enjoyed this one. Fave point.

Truly great cache! Took a bit of looking but once spotted from a distance, easy get. TFTC!
What an awesome cache! Definitely worth all the favorites it has! So clever- easy to find and easy to reach once you work it out.
I like a more interactive cache, and this has to be put in the list of favourites. Took a moment to spot the cache (though it's big enough) - once I thought what a particular sentence in the cache description was likely to mean I found it quickly enough and retrieved it easily. No one around here.
Thanks for the cache - good fun.

Had a lovely picnic at the banks of the Murray River with the Geoin-laws and Geodog. This cache had us scratching our heads for awhile til it dawned on us. Heavens Above! what an Awesome Cache. Very well camouflaged. Thank you Doheng
Nice hide. Found very quickly as i have found plenty of dohengs caches now. Very creative
I take my last find back, this one is now my favorite. You're an absolute legend for going through the effort on these!

In Mildura for a week with the family in the camper - what a great opportunity to grab some caches! This one was on top of the "must get" list, owing to the high number of FP's, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Definitely was not disappointed! As we made our approach we kind of just went into dumb mode and started poking around the usual hiding places... then it dawned on me - this is not a usual GeoCache so why are we looking in the usual places? The cache was soon spotted and the retrieval method quickly located. Cache found dry and in good condition, and worth a brand new FP from us!

2nd cache found today with Rohkad. Love love love this one!! We were scratching our heads until we eventually spotted this one, and then it was a easy grab. Love the creativity and camoflage on this hide! Well deserving of a favourite point. Visiting a trackable also. TFTC doheng!

I parked and made my way in. Got to where the GPS was pointing and had a poke around. Finally I looked around and there I saw the cache! I have seen a few of this type of construction but this is by far the best. What a cracker. Thanks doheng, a definite favourite.
This one was an interesting one to find and recover. I love the caches by doheng. Keep it up!
We are keen geocachers on holiday from New Zealand, collecting a few smileys as we pass by. Spent a whole day doing the walks here, enjoying the birds and the wild life. Having been warned by the last doheng cache, we were alerted to look beyond our noses which worked well in our favour. Wonderful swag, cache all good. Yet another fav point earned. TFTC
Finally upgraded to premium member, back logging these logs
Lord Rossatron told me about this cache and said it was a highly favourited one, so off we set to see what was so great about it. Well!! this cache is bloody amazing haha, we searched around everywhere looking for it, and to our amusement there it was! Deserves every point it gets!! Well done

This cache deserves every single favourite point it has. Not being a premium member very long I have been hoarding my points but I cant possibly not give this one a point (princess peach 25 was disappointed when I told her that being a basic member meant that she couldn't give this one a point too).
I don't even know what to say about this one that wont give it away to anyone else. I have been hanging out to find one just like this one for a while now to the point that I always look for ones like it when I get to any GZ. Didn't spot it at first and then began to look in the usual places while saying'47 favourite point, it has to be something amazing' still having no luck we re looked at the gps and it took us back to where we started as we seemed to have drifted away a bit to far. I once again did my usual type off look and thats when I spotted something fishy, bingo.
We took the TB from the cache, didn't have one to swap it with though.

Went caching with Kelligula and geo-teen, we looked for about an hour and I was getting frustrated, as a last resort I looked to the heavens and prayed for a miracle. My prayers were answered and we finally found the cache. Wow! The cache of the year!
This was definitely the best cache we have found so far! Well worth all the favourite points and it gets another from me. We picked up a trackable and dropped one off and filled the container with swaps. Finding this cache was the best Valentine's Day gift ever! TFTC!
TheCatBandits family cache day out. Very clever cache took awhile to find but got there in the end. Left TB and took the two TB's TFTC
Adelaide trip September 2015. I spend five days driving to Adelaide taking some more remote routes across the river land area and exploring new places along the way. Day 2. Today was the day to head along the rivers from Balranald to Lock 8 via Mildura and the old mail route caches. Plenty of signs of wet roads, but all dried out now. Some mazing country along the way. It is amazing how the obvious can be so invisible. Great cache and setup.
Thanks.

We are heading across to the Flinders Ranges on a 2 week sojourn. We don't intend to do a lot of caching but will try and pick up a few along the way.
We are staying in Mildura for 2 nights and today we headed out to Kings Billabong. I had not been game enough to bring the work vehicle in here on previous trips and I knew Mr Morris would like it in here.
We did a bit of tooing and froing here but we have learned to trust the GPSr. Eventually I spotted the hide and Mr Morris the access. Its a very nice construction.

Staying in Mildura with sulkybear and our two geokids (aged 3 & 5) for a week of relaxation. Today we headed to Kings Billabong Conservation Reserve for a bit of a look around. I can see why this cache is Mildura's fav. We will also add a fav point! Totally cool! Really appreciate all your fab effort on locals caches. Kids made some swaps too. Thanks again
Well –well what can I say – this 1 is a challenge – landed the house boat near GZ & did the short walk – left the other half behind on the boat – I must have been missing for at least 45 minutes – that’s what the challenge I found it – in n the end I was going to give up & walk away – 1 last look & I found it – now this is tops – I returned after lunch & made a video of this cache for my caching history & for other half as this road on Saturday was very busy – yep another favourite - TFTC / TFTH // SL
We loved this cache, thought for a while that we were going to have another dnf and continue with our cache slump. Thanks doheng this one was fun to do whilst camping at a lovely spot. Picked up trackable.
Yes ! This is sooo cool , after a phonecall to Doheng, with the vital hint, geokid spotted it! Very excited kids, this one ranks definitely the highest on our geocaching list:) left TB
A lot of work put into this one. Took one and put one in. GEO daughters love these ones. Lovely bush. TFTC
the best cache of the day for me! great effort in placing it here! there should be more caches like this one. it's definitely worth a favorite point! thanks a lot, made my (caching) day
Having met up with the CO in town for a Coffee/Meet'n'greet Bogonghazy and I then followed him out to here. Loved the drive in along the River, what a fantastic area. We all took the stroll to GZ, where BH quickly noticed the clevery and very well engineered cache. This one should last a lifetime Thanks to doheng, for the cache and taking time from your busy schedule to meet up with us today. I really appreciate it. We continued on afterwards to make a few more finds, before heading back to the Caravan Park. Cheers and thanks again, Lisa. Adding a fave for construction and effort.
Sully and I were lucky enough to meet the CO for a coffee in town on our first afternoon here in Mildura, and he suggested we follow him out to this one to see the kind of caches to expect. Thanks goodness we were following a local, as the montanas and the Nuvi weren't happy with the route taken. A short walk from where we left the cars, and after re-assurance that the coords are good, we checked a couple of likely hides before I happened to look right on GZ and there it was. An enormous amount of setting up here, and a quality cache with quality goodies. Only One fave point, c'mon Groundspeak, that's just not fair sometimes.
Thanks doheng, you didn't let us down, this is a ripper.
Cheers Phil
PS. Enjoy the houseboat.

Many thanks to TheVersteegs cruisinblues and especially doheng for the great hides You are all very creative people and when I see either one of your names come up as owners, I know I am in for a great hunt.
In Mildura for a day or so and a little caching is in order. Another original hide. Lady Avago suggested where it might be and was all smiles when she signed the log.

After spending another very pleasant evening at the doheng B & B we had decided to do one more of their caches before we headed off towards Murray Bridge so this time it is was alansee, mr pprass and mrs crackers accompanied by doheng who headed off in the early morning dappled sunshine for a pleasant walk to gz.
Alansee spotted the hide first but wasn't letting any thing on, pprass and myself thought that we may have to hand in our geocaching licenses when we finally spotted something that gave the game away.
Not too long after the log book was in hand and our names were being added to the log.
Thanks doheng for another great cache, a favourite from us.
We look forward to returning to enjoy both you r company and caches.

Found at 8:57 AM GAFF1 in the company of Alansee, Team Crackers x 0.5 and doheng. After another huge night at Brian & Meg's - we really enjoy these dinners - we headed off to do just one of doheng's caches that was accessible after the heavy rain that was experienced over the past few days. It was a clear and crisp morning and we passed quite a few campers set up on the bank of the river. Lots of large puddles on the track, but it was firm and we could easily get around.
Got to GZ and within a few moments, Alansee says he could see it, but didn't say where so that the rest of us could spot it. It took a few moments as you had to be looking from the right angle, but a very nicely set up cache container was located. We have a couple of these in the Port Macquarie area and so we immediately knew what we had to do.
This was the end of a wonderful couple of days in Mildura and we will certainly be coming back as soon as we can.
Thanks doheng.

Found with pprass and Team Crackers in the company of the Owner. The latter stood back and waited while we searched. I noticed something not at all related to the hide but which made me look in a certain manner and there was the cache! I then joined the owner until we all had located the very clever hide.

Found at 1245 during a guided tour of the river trails with the CO. We were fortunate enough to find this clever hide fairly quickly. Once again we have seen a few of this style but this would have to be the best of its type that we have seen. Another favourite.
Thanks doheng.
