As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

my first DNF for a while Sad what's worse I had my car egged in a driveby... not sure I'll be back to search again.

Reperio:

This was another find today as part of a 24hr caching run that yielded 215 cache finds. Expected to have to do a bit of monkeying around for this one, but was able to keep a feet flat on the ground.

Gratias Team Lolly.

Although I drive passed this point twice a day, it is usually at a time when being stealthy is a little difficult. However, I finally bit the bullet and stopped to have a look on the way home from work and was surprised how easy it was, and that I didn't need to poke around at all. I'm not sure if giant statues and elephants are what I want to look at as I drive down Salisbury Highway, but, hey, that's progress. At the rate they built the wall and the temple, it may be many years until Buddha smiles down on us .

Found this during "While we're here" moment Smile After finding and logging the cache I took a closer look at the wall -- it was dark so I didn't see the temple very well when I drove past -- I'll have to drive by during daylight. Thanks Team Lolly!

Much debate was held about deities and the wheel. Some talk about Kangaroos was also had. Clear skies.

A lot of work went into that wall.

Cheers and thanks for the cache

Lots of lizards around here thought I'd give a blue one a home and leave a spiky critter to keep the rest company. TFTC

There are times for discretion and times for diplomacy. But now, you need to address both frankly and openly. You know what this means.

Well managed to get to this one today to sign the log.

09-Aug-11
Well we found it but couldn't write in the log it thanks to a couple of oddly dressed persons from the premises waiting at the bus stop. Does this mean a find or a re visit on another day?

31-Jul-11
If it is a life size elephant then that would be interesting. I hope it does not get vandalised as it is interesting like the one at anglevale. Tftcsl

Find 1275
Found the cache BFE style without the GPS in the position indicated on Google Earth.
It was recently reported in the local press the proposed gate was not approved by the Salisbury Council.
Thanks to Team Lolly for the cache.

I used to drive past here every day, and see it slowly being built over the months. Looks like it has progressed a bit more since I last saw it. No monkeys spotted, but I found the cache tucked away out of sight.

TNLN - Thanks Team Lolly!

WowSurprised. Only the fourth to find and the first for a fortnight[?]
I used to work further North and travelled this road daily, so watched the progression of this place build up. Surely the house further down the road with a little buddha inset into their brickwork by the door must be connected to this place[?]
Heading past at lunch and after stopping and looking at the area thought it was going to be a tough spot to look stealthily in during the day. I was wrong and clever placement meant it was a quick find out of sight of muggles Big Grin.

Google earth showed me where the cache would be and I was able to park right next to it and grab it in seconds. I saw DISK’s name in the log for silver, so I guess that means I get bronze [^].
As for the ‘controversial’ statue of Buddha, I have no problem with it. I’m a devout atheist, but if the world HAS to have religion, we could do a lot worse than Buddhism; you don’t hear too many stories of them persecuting, crusading, brainwashing or murdering others who don’t agree with them.
No swaps. Cheers.

Surprised to get Silver on this one since it's been here a week already Cool.
This is a big wall - will be amazing if it ever gets finished!
Took mermaid. Left beads. SL.
Thanks Team Lolly.

With Mrs O getting ready for a trip to the shops the notification for this cache came in just before she left. With a minor detour and waiting out the car buying muggles we had this cache in hand very quickly and to find that we were FTF. Thanks for the scratchie (not a winner) and we took the TB.

Thanks for the cache Team Lolly.

I had just woken up from my sleep and Mummy was getting me ready to go to the shops. I don't really like shopping and was throwing a tantrum and then Daddy got a notification of a new cache. So I decided that if we could do some caching and some shopping that would be ok. Mummy decided that there were too many cars around and left me in the safety of the car while she went and located the FTF for me. TFTC Team Lolly.
