We couldn't locate this one here. There was a place matching perfectly with the hint ... but no cache for our eyes here.

Spotted this set of caches on the GPS map while driving nearby on the highway so made the detour to inverstigate.
Nice one.
Cheers.

I missed it, as I got distracted by the very close 'poo' rocks. You've heard of cache rocks? You can probably guess what was under here. MD found the cache once he arrived onsite. Cheers Gav [9945]
A quick easy find on arrival at Trotters Gorge - several cars in the parking area but no sign of anybody. This cache counts towards the Ramblers Reward Challenge Cache. TFTC
This was found on a lovely walk round some of the caches in the area. Unfortunately I didn't have time to find them all.
One of 26 caches found today while out on a school geocacing trip. TFTC.

The first of the day for us. It must have been dry in North Otago for the last month- the picnic area is much less muddy than it was last time we were here.
First find of the day trotting around the gorge on the morning walk before the midday event - good easy one to start with with many searchers.
first in the car park today, no muggles just a bit of frost all around -
someone's favourite colour I am guessing? really cool

Probably too cold for a picnic today,The ground was very boggy so the gates were locked to keep vehicles off but the outer carpark was still full. An attractive area with the nice bush walks with caches as a bonus!.
Thanks

Arrived at the carpark only one car there. Walked up to locate my first find for the day. TFTC
With 3 other vehicles already in the carpark we thought there might be a race up the track to find these first but finding an empty logbook here took the pressure off. With Big Foot navigating and 3 little dogs as escort we set off up the valley.
Our first cache for the day, out with Mum and the dogs. Lots of water crossings to come, trying to keep my feet dry at the start.
