Had a quick look but had to move on as the rain was starting to come down. Another time maybe.
Found over the other side of the road from the 30km sign, not the closet to the sign, but good find here, TFTC
Coming from Picton going further south Lake Arnoud seemed to be a very nice place to stay for a while. Found during a short hike on our first day at the lake. It took us a while until we held the cache in our hands. TFTC Fischus
Tftc out for a day walk with victoriousone, mumandme and a few others. The sign is no longer there but coordinates are pretty accurate
Took longer than it should until we realised the sign is no longer there. Found with victoriousone and Kimmy+co. Tftc
Took a bit to find it given the sign is not there. Finally found the spot. Found with mumandme and Kimmy+co. TFTC
Just a couple of finds today, this was the second. Easy find, closer to the road than I would have thought.
Great family walk today and 100% find rate on our caches! That is rare in NZ, so we combined a beautiful walk with a nice geocaching experience, thanks!
Overturned every rock until we finally searched the right spot (it’s actually pretty easy ) thanks for the find!
It has been a great day caching and fast becoming "dark o'clock". This is the time of day when you wished that you had packed more food or chocolate.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Found on a cold frosty morning while out for a bike ride. Closer to the road than I had anticipated. I didn't sign the log hard to do with layers of gloves and things on. Loving the area
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up at the DoC Campsite at West Bay, St Arnaud for a couple of days, exploring in & around the local area … we decided to go for a walk from the campsite to St Arnaud & return via the Peninsula Walk … & we thought it would be rude not to check out some caches on the way … found with no issues, signed & replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,388 for us.
A day in the Lake Rotoiti area with a walk around the Brunner Peninsula then the Moraine Walkway. A quick find and sign. Thanks for the cache.
Spent a while overturning big rocks under wrong bush before finding the smaller correct one. TFTC
I thought I saw the sign on the way in, but I must have confused it with another entry to a national park. Fortunately, my GPSr did not need to reference the sign when it led me to GZ. TFTC.
Day 10 - Labour weekend extended road trip with Kiwicampnut - relocated to stay south of the ditch.
Kiwicampnut is always up for Kiwi based caches (and me for Ruru based ones) so a stop here was a must.
Sorry to see the sign has gone, but the cache is in place and looking good.
Thanks for the cache beltfamily

On a trip with Ruru_NZ to gather the tour caches needed or in my case not done yet. Should be able to knock them off on this trip.
Sign gone but cache still there. But if a miserable day but sandflies out in force after me and others

No sign of the helicopter this time but found the cache after a wee hunt. TFTC
Co-ords had me all over th place, after resulting to turn over every rock, cache found. TFTC
Just as we finished replacing the cache a helicopter fly in I guess DoC must be doing some maintenance ..exciting to see it close and hovering thank s for the cache belt family
The hint is definitely not valid anymore but GPS led me straight to the cache. As soon as I had signed, a large helicopter cruised in with a trailer of equipment which h it delicately deposited to waiting DOC staff and then flying off. Thanks for the cache beltfamily
we were staying with nana and grandad for the weekend and we wanted to go for a walk to find some geocaches. I had a great day. Thank you for putting the caches here for us to find

Unfortunately hint doesn't fit now, no object found, not the right place. Never mind. I hope the cache is still there.
Z11 for the find. Hint sign doesn't appear to exist, but gps narrowed down better than Mum's instincts, no need to bush bash.

Well worth an early morning to see the sunrise, and to do some geocaching too! TFTC
No need to go bush bashing, easy accesible but also easy to be seen while grabbing from the road. Lucky I was the only one around here at 7am.
A bit mouldy inside the container, but log is ok in the bag.

Yay we found an almost dry log But BYOP since the one included is covered in mould..

Quick find today. Coords all good, no nearby sign though. Cache in good shape, TFTC Belts.
Today was St Arnaud.
I had done some caching in St Arnaud before, but it was a little bit on the way somewhere else, or a handful at the end of the day. Today I decided to make it the focus.
A nice day, and successful. Had a good look around town, the lake and some good walking tracks. Only a couple eluded me today, a haul of 27 including an oldie and a virtual before I decided that was enough. Thanks all COs, an enjoyable day.

TGTC.
I had just driven a bit further up the road, but then it was time to head back to Nelson. I came upon this cache on my way.
The hint object must have moved 47m - but all is good.

Had our Sunday free so planned out a trip from Nelson to St Arnaud and back, overall this trip took about 6 hours and we got to adventure far beyond the road. This is one of the 31 caches that we found today.
Found after a while of searching. Hint confused us though.

After arriving early in St. Arnaud we used the time to go for a long walk and to some geocaching. We had an enjoyable afternoon at this wonderful place. So nice to have all those caches here. As we found 17 Caches this afternoon, I will do the same log on al of them, sorry.

I found it on a walk around the lake.
Thanks for cache.
In: CWG (It's not trackable, it's just for memories.)

Took me longer than it should have, then found it right virtually under my feet
Quicl find. No more sign, but the cache is a quick and easy find. Last find before finding a camp for the night down the road.
Found at 17:32 - #8251 - on a 5 week trip in New Zealand

Last day of our easter road trip spending the morning exploring the area .

#547. Third and final find on our Mt Robert Rd detour en route to Wairau Valley. The hint was puzzling, didn't seem to tie up with reality. However, GZ was where the co-ords pointed, and the cache (undamaged lid) was soon in hand. Took the travelbug to move on. A cockroach tried to hide in the cache when I put the log back! Moved it on too! Found with GB Leader, and headed north. Tftc beltfamily.
An orienteering event provided an opportunity to find this, dropped in a travel bug. Tftc
On a week's walking and caching holiday with trifolia argentea we aimed for 100 caches. Thanks to all cache owners.
Another one found thank you. We didn’t take the used bar of soap but left a treat!
No issues with this one, a good time of year for these roadside caches. Would be impossible in summer time. tftc
A day in the Park whilst Streetgamer is at the gliding club down the road. A lovely spring day and a great opportunity to explore this area.
I was originally planning to park and grab as many as I could today, but the park and the weather is too nice today to rush, so I ended up doing a leisurely walk from the West Bay car park over to Kerr Bay and back.
Happily I was looking at the wrong rocks when a car pulled up. Thankfully they did not see me and soon moved on. Just as well as they had parked right by the GZ. I didn't spot those rocks first time around.

In better than expected weather we took a walk along lake Rotoiti - A very nice location. TFTC!

Finally found it. Sandflies went crazy on us. Lots of rocks moved in the wrong bush. Tftc
