Time to put this one to bed. Surprising how a hide like this can run into so many muggle issues.
Looks like this has gone walkabout.
Will check and then determine if it's say is done. Not one of my most inspiring hides, more of a continuation of the previous hide here.

I think I was in the right place, looking for the right type of hide. Most of the things that I was trying to look underneath couldn't be lifted, but two were missing.
This is the third or fourth time I've tried for the one - every other time there were heaps of muggles about, Today made a quick find - but it's a good hide. TFTC!
Needed one of the previous finders clues to help - second try for this one but last time a tree was down close by restricting the search. No pen to sign - see photo. Tftc

Castle Towers is a large shopping mall and it gets even bigger with the expansion that is underway next to this cache. The small park is in need of some maintenance but it is a bit pointless with the construction going on next door.

After finishing the shopping in Castle Hill it was now time to find a few caches. This cache was found after a short search. Sat on the nearby seat and signed the log and then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you purplepeopleater for placing this cache.
Located at 4:26pm. #859.
After spending the morning contemplating flooring options at a nearby tile showroom and then browsing the aisles at Bunnings and Victoria’s Basement, I headed over to Castle Towers. I hadn’t thought to go caching at all today and I’m also trying to find more caches with higher D/T ratings to keep my average up, but the Hidden Date on this cache was one I had not yet logged so it a no brainer to go for it (314/366).
Had no trouble at GZ making the find and inscribing my name upon the parchment. Much obliged Purplepeopleater. Большое спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

This one seems to give a lot of trouble but the offset head gear gives it away. Mind you, I did try a few before finding the correct one. That was the first challenge, getting my fat fingers around the container was another.
Thanks for the cache Purplepeopleater, took nothing, left nothing, trackables visited and I signed the log.

Took me a while was very clueless. But after finding it the hint made a lot of sense.
Hard to find the car parking closer to the cache than find the cache. Thanks for the cache

After DNFing this cache when I was visiting rellies in Castle Hill in January, I didn't expect to get a chance to clear the DNF this soon, but a work trip brought me back to Sydney and Castle Hill was between me and where I had to go. Double bonus, dinner with rellies on the way and clean up the blue frownie.
First, to answer the disbelievers that this one couldn't be found, last time I was here my iPhone and gypsy both agreed that GZ was about 9 metres from where I found the cache today and, on the last visit I widened my search pattern in the wrong direction first off and ran out of time before I finished finding other random objects.
I will say that coming back a little better prepared helped, even though what I found wasn't the same as the spoiler photos, they certainly helped. I guess there has been some work on the area around GZ since the cache was placed. I pretty much walked up to the cache without any hindrance from my iPhone and quickly had the log signed.
The cache is in good condition.

Don’t know have the last was a DNF. Very quick find. Even manage doing it while muggle was sitting on nearby seat.
Love it when you find one when the previous person did a DNF. Muggles were close by and we still managed to retrieve
With a mission to fill in all the uncleared dates on my caching calendar, I had to find a cache today. I thought I might have cleared the day with this one. The geo-brother-in-law and I wandered over from the towers while our geo-wives did a bit of shopping. Neither of us had a clear idea of what the hint meant, but did have some thoughts. None of which proved fruitful. There was one interesting little oddity that caught our eye, but having flown from Melbourne with only carry-on baggage I didn't have my full kit with me so no tools to explore thoroughly.
Not sure when I'll be back with a chance to expunge this one, so looks like it might be a blue dot for a long time .
We did find a nice little pair of scissors and a dog brush though.

22nd Australian Cache found with Wystan. I liked looking at the mosaic as we walked to the cache.
Creative hide! Don’t know anything about rugby but always suspicious as one of my very first finds was like this one! Had to be very careful of muggles, thankfully there was a break in muggle activity and I could quickly grab and sign the cache. TFTC!
We had been in the shops on important business, topping up our coffee supplies, then walked over to this cache. It could be seen straightaway, as the camo has been replaced and is not working as well as it should be. We moved to GZ and logged then returned it but could do no better with the camo. Thanks Purplepeopleater for the hide.
Couldn't find it
Not sure if its missing or I looking in the right spot
Better come back another day to search again

When we moved to Castle Hill last year, this one was on my radar. According to some of the logs at the time, it didn't look all that promising, though: possibly had a wet logsheet, missing lid, hard to extract, etc. That didn't put me off too much, but the one attempt I made was thwarted by a muggle sitting nearby who wouldn't leave. After quite a long wait I decided to give it a miss and try again some other time.
Well, time flies and waits for nobody. Several months later, and a note about the cache being in good condition again appeared. After finding a nearby cache, and with some errands to run at Castle Towers, I decided to see whether I could locate this one. We walked across from the shopping mall and were happy to see that nobody was around.
Still, it took quite a bit of searching to find the right spot. I was going to chalk this one up as a DNF for now when I noticed something that was a bit off kilter. A closer examination of this particular feature (I had checked some others without success) revealed the cache. I was expecting some possible trouble trying to extract the container as mentioned in a previous log, but it was absolutely no problem to retrieve it from its hiding spot.
Log signed, all returned to the hiding place and another find to the tally.

Stopped off on my way back home from the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to find this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to collect some more caches on the homeward journey. This was the 9th of 18 finds for the day.
After finding "Tennis anyone ?" this was my next stop. Parked the geomobile in Garthowen Crescent, and then headed down to GZ for a look. And, thanks to the nice accurate coords and a very familiar style of hide, it was a quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Purplepeopleater.

On my way home from work and detoured to collect this cache. Making my way through the park 3 Muggle teenagers were sitting on a nearby bench, enough to hamper my search. Hmm, wait it out or come back another day. I decided to try another time but as I started to walk there was movement from the bench sitters.
GZ coordinates are out by a few meters but nothing too drastic. After scanning the area I noticed something a little odd, the caches camo was not properly in place and yes, the cache IS a little tricky to extract but not impossible with the right tool. Oh, wacko, a squeaky clean new log sheet, nice. Replaced cache and camo. And was on my way to another nearby cache at the show grounds.

In between meetings it was over to this one. A quick scan and the likely spot was noted and on closer inspection a cache was sighted. We could not get it out but could extract one of its logs and added our mark. TFTC

Found it reasonably quickly as the cover was missing but extracting took a bit more work. First needed to find a tool then manoeuvre it into the right position to get it out of a tight squeeze. Scraps of log paper inside were dry and we were able to leave our names before replacing as found.

Not too easy, but a previous photo gave it away. Couldn't sign log though, all soaked and terrible:(
I see I have had a dnf here before, thankfully found it this time. It's in pretty scrapie condition and needs some loving. Tftc
Great little hide! Nice quick & easy find on my way home from an appt out in Castle hill. TFTC
Had a DNF on this one a couple of years ago when it had been muggled. Got it this time. The log is in a very poor state and I had to add a bit of paper like the previous finder. It may also be a bit visible to the many muggles passing by. TFTC.

Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Grey winter's day
Cache condition: Log needs TLC
It was a bank holiday, so I got the day off (there are advantages of working for such institutions!). I cleverly managed to arrange a dental appointment in the morning (sigh), but it left me the rest of the day for caching. This cache was on the route I wanted to go, so I decided to stop and quickly grab it.
I seem to recall searching for this cache many years ago, but unsuccessfully as it was very early days in my caching career. I parked nearby and walked in to the park, and was soon at GZ. It didn't take too long until I found the container - I suspect it had more camo earlier in its life. The log paper is a bit mangled, so I found the first empty spot to make my mark. I replaced the container, then headed back to my car. TFTC

Found this one without too much trouble. A bit tricky to retrieve.
Log is pretty mangled and will require replacement.
Thanks for the cache!

Took the opportunity to stop off and grab this cache while passing through Castle Hill this afternoon with a bit of time to spare ... which I haven't had when passing through previously. It was fairly clear, on arrival at GZ where I should direct my search but it still took a little while for me to make the find, probably because I wasn't as systematic in my search as I should have been. It was just as well that I had a bit of time to spare because having made the find, I then had to go back to the car to get a pen to record my visit on the record sheet within ... which, although a bit ratty, is good enough to do the job for now. Thanks for the smiley Purplepeopleater.
Co-ords jumping all over the place so resorted to photo clues. WAY OFF FROM WHERE MY PHINE WAS INDOCATING! Fun one though TFTC
In the hood with geoboyfriend so thought we'd knock this one off our list... It took us a bit but geoboyfriend came up with the goods. I wonder how long this park will last considering all the surrounding development? It was full of bird song today, which was lovely. Thanks PPE!
We also came by here today on our cacher tour. We walked around this park and found this cache.

Had some time to kill while at towers so wandered across to see if I could find the cache. CIH I sat down to sign the log and enjoy a coffee on a nearby seat.
Found on the way back to the car after exchanging a Christmas present at David Jones. SL TFTC
GOS had me looking suss in the wrong spot, but frim the clue quickly checked some other likely spots when i spotted it. TFTC!
I had a fair bit of running around to do today so to much it fun I stopped along the way to grab some caches. Found this one after my visit to Apple. cache and log are not in very good condition. And don't believe everything you see. TFTC.
Tftc, log has been ruined. It is dry now and I was able to sign my name on a blank spot. Needs a new log.
Streak day #277 - This morning I was good and didn't go to ice hockey. Since I didn't get home until 1am and my finger was so newly damaged I figured it could use a rest. Well until the evening at least. I enjoyed a nice sleep in again after passing on the news that I wouldn't make my morning game. In the afternoon my softball coach had organised a casual training session for whoever wanted to go. I went more for moral support to my sister who has just joined the team. I tried throwing a couple of balls, but it hurt so I thought better of it. I could still catch and fling the ball back using my glove. Home for a quick change it was time to head out for the ice hockey portion of the evening. I refereed a game at Liverpool then was able to attend half of the Sydney Sirens tryout before having to race to Baulkham Hills for the last game of the year for my mixed team. I was a little worried about hitting my finger and bursting the stitches, but I didn't want to miss out. I at least kept my finger elevated whenever I could. My team were impressed that I made it on to the ice for the game, but with pain killers I got through without much pain. Once the game was done and I was ready to go get a cache it was almost 11pm. I have driven past this cache many times, tonight I decided I would stop and try to find the cache. I was able to park in a side street over the road then stroll in towards the GZ. My GPS was doing it's best dance this evening, sending my searching all over the place. In the end I decided to think about the hint and use my head rather than follow my GPS meandering lead. It wasn't long then before I spotted something suspicious. Sure enough I had CIH. I opened it up and was surprised to see the log somewhat swimming inside. I poured the water out then gently peeled open the log so that I could sign it. Thankfully my pen didn't rip the paper apart. I refolded the sodden log and placed it back in the cache before putting it back as I found it. TFTC.
Log completely saturated and cache was full of water. I was barely able to sign it.
Quick find after birthday lunch with my 87 year old aunt at Castle Towers, one of the better designed shopping complexes in Sydney.
I've walked along this street but have never been in this little park before. And who is/was Eric Felton? I tried to find out but no luck.
TFTC - a very strong magnet for this type of cache!

A nice quick find after a nearby coffee with a friend. The GPS wanted me up in the garden but after checking the hint I quickly had CIH. Log is in good condition overall, with a tear through the top header. TFTC PPE!
Nice quick find in between jobs. Photos give nothing away as cache is now completely different. Beware of the ants - there are heaps!! TFTC

Despite this one being simple and an easy find, it took me several visits to find it. For some odd reason I kept on looking in the more difficult places.
Thanks for the cache.

This was my first ever found geocache on this lovely Easter weekend, and only a short walk from my house! What an excellent feeling to see all those names on there. Absolutely loved it, feels good man
8/3/15. 9:05 AM. Cache #2309. Streak day #259. 4th of 5 for the morning. I came here from "Mountain views" and found easy parking in Garthowen Cres. I walked to GZ and found this quickly; the easiest of the morning so far. I headed on to "And a Parsonage in a square tree!" next. TFTC }:)
Quick find b4 shopping unable to sign log due to not having pen with us ( unexpected geo)
Been a long time since I attempted this cache last, so not sure if its in the same location as originally, although it seemed pretty close to where I was looking last time. Still no idea how the spot matches the hint, but managed to uncover it all the same (mostly thanks to previous photos - this was truly a case of cache blindness for dad and I >_<). TFTC!
