Back at it again with the partner. First one for the mission today, thank you!
I think there was too much water here for me to really commit here. So unfortunately all I leave behind is a DNF. Maybe another day.
Found with richlink during our 2022 South Australia Adventure using Geocaching as our guide.

Happy caching and safe travels!
Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Made to South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
After making my way west along the Eyre Hwy I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie and finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
So after leaving Venus Bay my next destination is Coffin Bay NP which is down the bottom of Eyre Peninsular off the Flinders Hwy.
I’m hoping for when I set up camp the weather improves but at least I’m in a van and not having to set up canvas.
Well the weather has improved but not as much as I hoped for as there is still rain showers just when it looks like it is getting better.
I had an early appointment in Port Lincoln so I set off early in the morning to find a few caches heading in as Port Lincoln will be my next stop on this trip but it would be to hard to find these ones with the van behind so I did them this morning.
Heading back now so I have a bit more time to be able to find a few mote.
I noticed the street sign as I headed towards this one.
Was not sure of the hint until I located the cache.
Thanks wheres wolly TFTC.

During our new years break, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to the Eyre Peninsula to travel around the various coastal towns. We started the trip with Jeep trouble, but then continued in our alternative vehicle without 4WD to stick to the main tourist roads where possible. We travelled south-west to Tumby Bay and Port Lincoln via Whyalla, Cowell, Cleve, Arno Bay; west across to Coffin Bay; and then north-west to Streaky Bay and Ceduna via Elliston, and Venus Bay. We then headed back east staying in Kimba via Poochera, Wudinna, Lock, and Darke Peak.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Tumby Bay to Coodlie Park. Our first main stop was at Coffin Bay, where we enjoyed a fantastic oyster farm tour experience. We then headed north, making stops at Greenly Beach, Elliston, and then visited Talia Caves as the sun started to get low. Not a bad weather day, although there was still some wind about.
Wow, this cache hadn't been found for some time, even though it was only a short detour from the highway. We drove out to this location, and with good coordinates, we made the find reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thankfully, there were no snakes around today. Thanks wheres wolly for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was also nice to have found this cache with 821 days [27.0 months / 2.25 years] of unfound love since its last find on 30/09/2018.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

It has now got to the stage where we have over 750 draft logs waiting to be completed. These range back over at least a couple of years.
We are not a fan of generic logs but with everything that has been on our plates recently we reluctantly have to admit this may be the only way we can get this back log cleared. If your cache is in our backlog it usually means it is one that we wanted to spend more time creating a much more bespoke log than this. But we are not managing to achieve that goal. So in the interests of getting the backlog cleared we have decided to resort to this long form of TFTC as a way of getting a large number of them cleared.
We apologise for the lack of commentary specific to your cache or event. We are somewhat targeted in what we go after. There are unfounded caches within a few kilometres of our home which we published before we started 8 years ago. We have just never got around to o looking for them. We like unusual cache types, puzzles in particular, older caches, and tend to target a much more wider group of caches when we travel. We like remote caches and caches that bring us to an interesting place. It is likely that this cache found its way into our find list because it fits one of these criteria.
As cache owners we appreciate the effort that goes into hiding and maintains caches so thank you for that.

Ooooh that got the blood pumping, first we saw water then a brown snake curled up sunning itself. That’s the end of this one for ustftc
I was down in Pt Lincoln with Laighside Legends for the long weekend and our plan was to head out and cache our way towards Coffin Bay and the surrounding area. It was a warm and pleasant day to be out and all caches that were found were in reasonably good condition. As it got close to the midday event we bumped into Mr Tardis and one of the nearby caches. The nearby event was an enjoyable affair, joined my Aussie M&M, Mogni and Mr Tardis, food was eaten and stories were swapped. At the close of the event, we continued to cache around the area before finally heading back to Lincoln for an evening event. It was an enjoyable evening at the pub to end the days caching before heading back to our accommodation in preparation for our next days caching.

Out and about caching with mogni and Aussie Mark. This was a bit odd, as I think the road has changed a bit, the trees are all down a bit and it looked like a piece of rubbish rather than a cache.
That said, the red lid was really helpful in finding the cache here.
TFTC wheres wolly.

Staying in Tumby Bay for a few days we set off finding the caches around here cleaning up a lot of unfounds from previous trips, the machine that trims the plants away from the road edge had been along here and trimmed all the plants, we feared the worst to start of with but then we saw it sitting there all exposed, the machine missed it by millimetres, cache is all safe and sound. We found this cache as part of a 4 day trip which went from Adelaide to Sceale Bay returning to Adelaide. The purpose of the trip was to remove Freddo was his home location too near the Clipsal 500 track and for us and Freddo to achieve a difficulty 4 1/2 and terrain 4 cache to make us well rounded cachers. The cache we needed to find was located near Venus Bay and we successfully completed this goal early on Friday morning which left us plenty of time to find "just one more". Loved the scenery and having the opportunity revisit this great area Thanks to wheres wolly for placing this cache.
Gawd !!
I couldn't see this cache for the trees !! [:o]
It took me a few goes and twenty minutes, but I eventually spied the really obvious !!
No cars passed in that time !!

Hey Wolly I am back for a short family visit so of course had to go hunting for Wolly caches! (My poor Mum thinks I am mad) I love driving around these roads as I learnt to drive on them, and when they are damp it is fun on the sandy corners! City visitors need to take care tho'. Had almost given up and re-read the clues - stretched, reached grabbed and fell too far and came out with a war wound on my head. Dead sticks are weapons! Nice hide, and this one can have a fav tick TFTC
Ah, nice to see some red red road at last. Almost ran over a lizard sunning itself on the road here. Took some photos of it before it cleared off the road. Cheers Gav [11745]
A quick find on a day out seeing the sights and caching in and around Coffin Bay. SL - no swaps. Thanks for the cache.
