As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Looked for quite a while but sadly could not find it. Hope it hasn't been taken by muggles!
Managed to just sneak this in the fading light. Soon in hand once I looked at the right tree another of whangarei's parks I would never have known about were it not for a cache. tftc
#462 Nice quick find with MC as the other two kids played with Mum at the playground. TFT(park)C.
While waiting for Mrs Jacksonz to get her Aches Away, we were looking for a picnic spot, and this park fitted the bill. We ate lovely filled rolls with Salmon and Leerdam (from the Kaiwaka Cheese Shop) while waiting for the local children on the playground to depart, before strolling down to make the find. TFTC.
Have been here once before. It was raining but
today its sunny and hot. Nice walk into the park
and under the shade of the trees. Cache located
quickly. Neat cache and dry. TFTC ;D

Cool little cache - loved the colour. Another great place I never knew about. I was pleased to be able to get out of the hot sun to sign this log. Kids would have loved the playground. TFTC
Another good hide, instructions are clear we are FTC replacement logbook, with honeykz
TFTC FTF in replacement log. Never knew there was a park here! Must come back one day to play
Wow, this container had a rough time. New container and log book are now in place.
Canister lid is unfortunately missing resulting in a soaked log. Great spot for tuis. TFTC.
Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!
Nice walk on a sunny afternoon. Took some muggles with us to teach them about the geo world. Quick find. TFTC
Wow, a new park to take the dogs walking to , and so close to my temporary home. They enjoyed all the new sights and smells and it proved to be a pleasant walk in the sunshine. Thanks for the hide.
Up in Whangarei for the night so as to see a Rep, so thought that this would make for a good opportunity to collect a few more night caches in the early morning, can't say the morning started well as had to repair a puncture in the dark on the side of the road before getting to the first cache, well so be it.
Quick find. Logbook is mush

Found during a nice camping trip up North, with madeinsane, biohazard_freak and new geocacher indib1nd1.. TFTC
I was very careful not to break too much of the spider web in front of this cleverly painted cache. The web helps hide it. Another very pleasant neighbourhood park that only the locals usually know about. Log very wet so don't know if my entry in pencil is readable but I was there - Thanks so much.
In the area today with time to pick off a few more caches. Nice secluded park. T4TC!

Two great trees that deserve a cache and visits from cachers. Soon spotted the good hide TFTC.
A quick find in a quiet and pleasant little park. Thanks for this, now discovering that Kamo has some very pretty little areas away from the main drag.
12.05pm. The last of three quick ones while Noeline was at the dentist in Kamo.
Thank you. David.

First visit to town since it was published so I knew I had no hope of a FTF. Mr Red was not keen on a nighttime trip and raid so I had to wait. Nice camo. TFTC
Didn't expect to find an empty logbook since this was published the day before; but also didn't think I'd miss FTF by approx 1/2 an hour...LOL
Figured the missing G was a typo, but Ruby suits it anyway! I never knew this gem of a park was here. What a lovely pocket-park & playground for the locals. TFTC!

Hmmm - thought I may have been FTF as no logs but when I got there I saw Riser5, Minimaxi and SaltyCachenutz had all beaten me - now why am I not surprised!! I was planning on having a hide here as this park is in our neighbourhood and our grandies used to come play here when they were a bit younger. Please note it is off Rugby Place not Ruby Place - although 'Ruby' sounds better and think a 'Ruby World Cup' could be interesting... TFTC
CFTF with Riser5. We were amazed to find that no one had beaten us to this one yet - but by the sounds of it we only just managed. Nice easy find. TFTC
Combined FTF with MiniMaxy. Had been out Pataua North when the notifications popped up, came home today and had a rest and then headed out for the cache. Found easily and no other logs in the front of the book. 2.22pm we made the grab.
nice little cache easy to find.
