Sorry. Even the hit couldn't help me today. I did get very dirty (muddy, greasy) hands though which proves that I had a good look in all the wrong places.
No sign of it had a long look. Great location because you can actually operate some of the controls
Not sure about this one... Maybe needs the placer to check that it's still there and not been taken.
No luck with this one with austrees. Looked everywhere but the kitchen sink.
The bright spot was CAFE@3641 - a lovely cafe that also caters for gluten intolerant people.

We looked in all the obvious places that matches the clue and came up empty handed. We do really suck at this style of cache though, so a dnf from us on this is not surprising. Flowers still all fresh from ANZAC Day yesterday. Thanks for bringing us here.
A thorough search produced nothing, due to the number of DNF it might be worthwhile checking this to see if it is still there
Looked over, under and in but couldn't find the cache....not to say it's not there though. Thanks anyway Blacklegend.
I consider meself an expert at finding caches hidden on this bit of armament
But this example was a first for me [:o]
I don't think I've seen the 'single rail' chassis design before
So I have added that to my Bofor's database.
As for the cache, well I searched all the usual places, but nothing cachelike found !! [:o]
I searched again for good measure .... same result !!
HUH ?? !!
Oh well, add it to the watch-list

No luck here for myself and a muggle mate on the way home from a golf trip at Toc.
Despite the great hint, this one proved too elusive, thanks anyway Adam.

Well this is
Had a fairly good look too but it's that hot it was hard to even touch it.

Driving to Mildura on a mission which wasn't about the caches. I was tickled pink when the young one in the back shit himself lol I was given a pass to find a cache
Dead quiet, no one around and lucky because it did take me a little while to find it. All good in the end though, thanks for the cache blacklegend!

We're off to Queensland for a week, staying at Stradbroke Islands with some friends from Brisbane.
This is day 1 of our holiday and we're driving from Melbourne to Parkes, and grabbing some caches along the way.
This one we didn't find however, dammit, went right over that thing too.
Thanks anyway Blacklegend

Easy find while taking a break from driving. Just a pity the RSL wasn't open for dinner. Logbooks looking pretty full. Tftc!
Heading north today to Leeton to see the family during the school holidays. A gun cache, oh joy! The temptation to drive on by was strong....but, oh just a quick look. I think we'd both had our hands close to it before the Chief found the cache on what was probably the forth pass over its hide. TFTC
# 3975. Robmc and I are heading to Picola to do the new series and collecting a few caches along the way.
I cringe when I see RSL hides, guns, tank, that sort of thing, usually with a nano or eclipse tin hidden in the depths of the machine. Luckily today Rob quickly found what we were looking for. Certainly no camo for this little bison. Now time to visit the bakery. TFTC

A beautiful day, so Bettyboo3747 and I drove over to do the Picola Kid's Alphabet. As it is a fair drive from here, we collected a few on the way over.
The Cafe was doing good business, but there were no muggles at the RSL today. With the hint in the description, we had our hands on the cache very quickly. Not sure how all these RSLs have got their hands on so many old guns!
Thanks, Robmc.

A milestone of 700 for us on a special day - our number one sons 27th birthday, as well as a trip to Cobram for the funeral of a pillar of the Cobram community, Philip Pullar. On the way back to the big smoke, we decided to make a few stops in the dark for some caches after this wonderful celebration of life. About 1000 gathered at the small church and adjacent hall to send him off and was completed with the Last Post for this great man who was once a serviceman. RIP Phil, and thanks Black Legend for the little piece of military history.
Travelling from Melbourne to the Riverina and caching on the way, we found this interesting cache. Thanks for all the COs for making this trip so challenging.
Delighted to add another smilie to my inventory, mainly because I nearly bypassed this one for no other reason than that it was a big gun with many, many, many hiding places on, under, within and near it! But after reading some previous logs, I reconsidered and gave it a shot. So glad I did, and happy to sign the log, and replace the cache carefully. TFTC!
This was our 9th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 12:14
So this now makes our total find count 6264.
[blue]
We are camping at a different spot along the Murray River and thought that today would be a great opportunity to tour some of the other camp sites and caches the area has to offer.
Another micro ona gun cache.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks Blacklegend for the hunt today.

No muggles around here today and another quick find, then back on the road again.
Thanks for the cache Blacklegend,
Roostaman.

Found at 11:35:00 AM with Roostaman while travelling from Echuca to Tocumwal. My first thought was, "Oh no, not another micro on a gun!" Thankfully this was one of the easier variety.
Thanks Blacklegend
Thanks Blacklegend
Found with Parko's as a part of the Geocaching Scout competition. Thanks for the cache
Quick find once we read the description properly. No muggles around today. Thanks Blacklegend
Found this one on our way home after Easter and a lovely lunch at the bakery nearby! TFTC
On a second attempt, I found it. No muggles around so had a more deliberate and careful look this time. Log full so I added a small piece of paper but this will fill up quickly so needs a more appropriate sized log. Thanks Blacklegend.
Once the muggles left sitting opposite the gun finished their ice creams I was free to search for the sought after cache, within no time it was in my hand. I managed to find a spot to sign, but it requires a new log,it is full. Sorry Blacklegend I wasn't able to replace with a new log I didn't have one with me. SL TFTC
Heading to Echuca today , a couple of caches to find before we get there.
Our success rate for guns, trains etc. is very poor so we are please to log a find for this one.

The local bakery became my lunch stop but before that I made a beeline to the gun. I have had a mixed career mucking about looking for caches on these things but today my luck held. The gun metal was almost too hot to touch but I didn't need to do much of that anyway.
Thanks
Thanks
Nice quick find. Left dad to sign the log while mum and i look photos

Found without issue. Log is full, but managed to find one little spot for team name.
Nice to see the name of our Qld caching buddies a few entries earlier.

Had a reasonable look for this one but no luck. Checked the obvious spots. Oh well.
Slowly heading back to Queensland after spending Christmas and New Year in Maryborough Vic. Couldn't resist stopping to find this tricky cache. Found it quickly! Log despeately needs replacing.

Out caching with RUNDAT while camping nearby.
Spent about an hour and a half searching as we were muggle free.
We could tell you every single nut and bolt on that gun that moves or comes out, and know exactly which parts of the gun move and don't, but sadly could not find the cache.
We won't be defeated though. We may be back another day during this camping trip, or next time, as we are frequent campers in the area.

Well we felt very inadequite , we searched high and low, felt here felt there , so phoned a friend, we said we already felt in there. Well she said have a better look, sure enough there it was. TFTC
We had a family reunion weekend up at Cobram.
The weather was really hot but we managed to sneak off and find a few caches during the weekend.
Fantastic fun and great to see some different landscapes than we are used to.
Thanks to all who hid caches for us to find.

It was fun to get over the border and thanks to everyone who hid them for us to find.

Just retrieved the cache in the first place I looked when a small girl materialised and began to climb on the gun. I sat with my back to her as I signed it then when she was engrossed I quickly replaced it. TFTC
Drove up to GZ and got worried. However I thought that I would at least try the obvious and the one of the first ones came up good. Thanks Blacklegend.
Found with Blacklegend and Team RJay on a wet wet cold day. Been outmuggled on this one several times.
You just have to love the school holidays. It means I have to take time off work to look after the kids. Today we had a few hours spare and I wanted to head north to have personal look at some things listed on ebay. So the kids and I piled in the car and made a day of it caching as we went. I'd like to stop at every cache I could be we cached as opportunities presented themselves today, and this was one of them. Thanks for the cache.
After stopping off at GZ thought oh not a cannon as we don't have much luck with these hides but we soon had cache in hand after a short search. Thanks blacklegend
Found at 9:40 AM GAFF1. Found this one quickly after doing BOFOR a couple of days before. This time I wasn't going to let the "slimy" feeling get to me!
Thanks Blacklegend

#2965 Reading the cache page we thought "Oh No!" - all we could picture was an RSL club with its many patrons looking out the window on a early Saturday evening...... Obviously we haven't been to Strathy for a long time . The RSL is not the normal licensed premises attracting the locals in for a bistro meal - rather it was more a case of "all's quiet on the western front"! We were mindful of the neighbours but the cache container was soon located without being sprung. Thanks for the cache BL
It pays to read properly when caching. Soon located when working with the correct information. TFTC
Quick find after we stopped looking on fence and started looking on fence side.

found these before but didn't know they were called bison tubes until today so you can teach old dogs new things after all !! tftc
Out and about with the Ez clan on a trip out the far reaches of the state for the elusive Atlas Challenge cache requirements.
1st cache if the drive and Mrs H made the find as we clambered about to "drive" it and take photos.
TFTC, Cheers.

Found on a road trip to the far north-west of Victoria with DazRascal to casually tick off a few more maps for the Vic Country Road Atlas Challenge.
After some bad navigation down the wrong service road we were soon pulling up to GZ.
Happy to have the place to ourselves this afternoon. Mrs H located the nicely tucked away cache as we took a few happy snaps of the KIDS! (And adults )
Thanks BL, always enjoy reading your cache pages and admiring your efforts for research!
Cheers matey!

A bright sunny day to spend out chasing a few caches...
As we turned off the highway were glanced toward GZ but didn't spot the likely hiding spot. A bit closed and the culprit came into view. Oh No One of those. Not our favorite type structure.
Three of us started looking but one dropped out after a few seconds...She knelt down to check a spot and dropped her knee on a bindii[:(!] After a few terse words she sulked off the car to recover.
Cache was spotted soon after, much to our relief.
Thanks Blacklegend

Need a bit more experience with these AA Guns.... they all seem to have caches in them but I havent found one yet.
tried this one 3 weeks ago, no luck, today we found it within about 30 seconds. my theory. these little micros get sick of sitting in the one place and no geocachers for a while so they decide to take a quick holiday. we were lucky that it had decided to return. tftc
Found it. Thought there may be people around getting ready for ANZAC Day. Nice & quiet though. TFTC
#615 on day 175 of continuous caching after a small day yesterday this was set to be a bigger day after going to Yarrawonga MacDonald and finding their WiFi to be a little lacking I asked one of the employees there and he told me about a Laundromat that had a WiFi hot spot so off i went and collected a few more geocaches for the gps and started to work my way toward the days goal of at least 50 and yes I got there and added 1 for good measure.
17 of 51 for the day and this was my biggest day yet. Unlike the previous cache this one I remember arriving at and thinking its a gun therefore the micro is actually a nano and that will be fun on a main street but reading the description it was soon located and the bison tube log signed and returned to its hide.
Thanks Blacklegend for another in you long line of caches.

Found on our two week expedition to the Oz Mega In Albury. SL TNLN TFTC. Another beagle walked past so we had to have a chat with the family and the overly inquisitive child who wanted to know why we were looking at a gun. Kids !!! Quick find once they had moved on
We had to get to Ecucha by 6pm and as the sun was getting low in the sky, we could only give this one a short search, and ended up empty handed.
