it is probably still there - but dont want cachers wasting their time - gone
Popped in to have a go at this after breakfast with Mum and Dad. Couldn't reconcile a previous CO note of "within 6 inches of the path" with the coords which appear to be about 10m from any path.
No luck for Chelzea and myself today. Then again I have returned to LittleG hides up to 3 times before finally finding,
Our 1st search for a long time on a weekend in ChCH but no luck. Our Hamilton eyes and brains just didn't get it.
Running a bit behind in my logging. Trying to catch up before Mega but running out of time before we leave. Log still to come. TFTC
Got it this time. Got a hint from a previous finder and armed with this info I eventually uncovered the cache (both pieces). Nice one. Thanks
I was struggling with wanting to continue my streak so when looking4thebroc suggested that we give this a go I didn't take much persuading. Arrived and walked in. I had no idea what to expect but L4TB did and quickly found it. Tftc
Decided what today was da day ter give dis anuvver 'ry after 'avin' missed i' in da past. Joined sharkiefan on da 'un' by torch. After all da lookin' in da past, tonight i' was spotted. As uvvers 'ave noted, da cache is apart, but what doesn' affect da cache. Cheers LittleG Magic! Sorted mate.
Thought I knew what to look for but still took longer than it should have. TFTC.
Surprisingly straight forward thanks little g

Down for the weekend in Christchurch and decided to find a few caches. Found whilst searching in the right place. Lid(cap) has fallen off.
Out this way to try and colour match some wood work for a job we're doing and I had a cupboard door in the back seat to take to the paint shop. I had to grab a cache for the first of August to start the month off. Can't pass up the opportunity for a free souviner. I had DNFed this one a while back as it had gone missing. No problems today as I had to use a carpark further away as the workmen were installing the final bits and bobs on the new cell tower nearby. I had an inkling of what I was looking for and spotted it quick enoug' govena. I went for the grab and the lid was no attac'ed to da bottom. The 'ot glue ain't workin like. Eaded back to the car and went about my business. Fanks for gettin' it back and running again.
Thanks for the cache.

Decided to explore another reserve while staying in Christchurch. Took couple of minutes but when spotted, was in my hands quickly;) tftc.
I tried to find this once before and failed. A change of focus this time revealed the cache instantly. Cache needs some urgent TLC though. to retain it's integrety.

we cant get the unique camo - looks like will have to make one & rethink its placement in next school holidays
As with many of our caches this is a unique camo hence the number of favorites it may have attracted that is difficult to find keep the theme and the hint -it looses the impact of what was intended just placing anything there but we may be forced into rethinking this cache completely Work in progress LGM
Big fat DNF even with a PAF to confirm what I was looking for didn't turn up anything.
suspect it might be slightly covered- we will check out next time we are in the area it was within 6 inches of the path when we left it LGM
Blimey! It was taiters after yesterdays 30C. Fort I knowed which 'edge to cast my mince pies on but from the Aunt Mabel to the junction there were only Brussels sprouts to be Pearly Queen. Reckon it's dun a runner. Need the CO to have a butchers.
Visited with BicMac3, while out on a completely unrelated event. Had much help from a caching friend, but no luck.
Sigh. Gave it a really good look after having a conversation with LittleG months ago about the cache.
Looked high and low but I really had no idea of what I was looking for here. Probabaly why I didn't find it. Hardly anyone in the area today but it looks like it might be popular of a weekend.
Uh oh, another DNF? This is becoming a habit! Though judging by previous logs, nothing unexpected . I do like a tricky hide but today just wasn't my day. I did, however, provide much amusement to my geocaching partner by walking around muttering "Cockneys drop their ***'s" over and over again in a puzzled tone. Thanks for that entertainment, and we're glad we ignored our in-car GPS or we'd have had a lovely tour of the tip [;p].
with my gps giving 16m accuracy at best i wasnt that hopeful but perceverance payed off in the end,TFTC
First visit had to call no joy and couldn't workout the clue. After reading a few posts went back and carried out a detailed search, found it in minutes. Still didn't get the clue till the wife explained it!
Second attempt. This time we read all the logs, took a huge team along and felt much more confident now that we have done a few LG caches. Sure enough, it was in our hands and being signed within minutes of arrival. Thanks for the fun.
Part of a great group of cachers having fun in the sun. Later on we had a picnic here out of the wind and it was quite warm. Good hide. TFTC.
Took me awhile but stuck with it and finally come up with the goods. TFTC. Cheers Bo
Missed it this time even though I had a very good idea of what I was looking for. The area has received a good thrashing, possibly by gardeners since the lawns have recently been mowed as well. Next time then....
It was raining but we came to ChCh to cache so with umbrellas in hand we went searching, without luck
Out caching with gracie7 + Mum. It was raining so we got wet even though we all had umbrellas.
Our focus today were the puzzles that had been solved, but as we were going past GZ, we stopped to have a dekko. We have found a similar hide up north, but this is definitely harder to find.
TFTC.
TFTC.
Was parked nearby, so had a quick butchers (hook), nothing seemed out of place so then off for a walk with the trouble and strife.
yeehaa, finally got it!! Has taken a few visits, with a new approach each time, but with recent finds boosting our confidence, we tried again, and there it was!! Thanks LittleG for another challenging cache.
Oh YES- so glad to have found it at last. Worked out the cockney's drop early on but couldn't figure how to apply it. Have called by at least 4 times- each time trying a new theory out! Found the little beggar this time- and very carefully did NOT cover!! TFTC
#261 When I was told that this cache had been 'uncovered' again decided to go back and had another look. Saw my GPS had me a few metres out when we looked last time. This time it was spot on and the cache in hand within 30sec of arrival. Cache was basically what I had expected from the clues and the LGM team. TFTC.
#1,035: With Cocked Knees
This was my third time coming by to try this one. I decided to wait until others had found it before returning, and so today was the day to try again. When GeoYoungling #3 and I arrived today, he said: "Papa. Haven't we been here before?" Too true, in so many ways. Another LGM hide that eluded me so much that it took multiple visits (see "Time Flies", "Stick It", "Miss Hit", "Frog Hop", "Place to Think", and "Book of Secrets 1"). This was the first one we tried in this reserve today, and after a short search, I decided we should go find three others before continuing to search. So, with three other nearby finds notched (one of them a LGM), we returned here determined to make the find. I decided I needed to TACO (Text A Cache Owner) to let him know we were heading out to try it, and was fortunate to receive a reply saying it should be easier and uncovered. The recent mowing that had apparently gone on did not encourage me to believe in the "not covered" part, but we pressed on. After a fairly long search, I finally came across the little bugger, and sat down on the grass next to GY#3 to sign the log. Phew! Glad to put that behind me! In all, this was the last of 6 finds on the day, with three of them being LGM hides. Not bad for a nice afternoon with the kid!

Was a nice day for a walk. I could have done with a drop at GZ, lovely place. TFTC
Suspect despite request it has been covered LG and M will do a maintenance run out at the end of cricket season Little G is getting tied up with Cant Cricket - so not much time for caching at the moment
Well it was a nice walk with my dog but I'll be back without him so I can really have a good look.
No joy with this one. GZ took us to a place that wasn't great for hiding something and as we had had other moments when a Little G's GZ was a wee way out, we broadened the search. Still no joy. The hint made sense but still no idea what we were looking for and nothing stood out.
Was up this way by bike with GeoYoungling #3 working through a nice BaldEd multi, and thought I'd swing by for a looksee. Nothing apparent, though this came as no surprise for a LGM hide! Could not see the picture on my GPSr, and so went home empty handed. I at least know what the hint means now, which will hopefully help me the next time. I'll be back!
The clue meant nothing to us until we found the cache. Then the penny dropped!
Neat little find. Thanks.
Neat little find. Thanks.
Wasn't sure which MD cache this was meant to be like. Is it "Don't like long grass"?
This hint was too cryptic for us. Despite this the "Little Bugger" was found eventually. Nice one! TFTC

A challenging wee micro but spotted it eventually. Hopefully we're learning what to look for when Little G is spoken here!

Round and round, in our head we had 'Please leave visible don't cover'. can't see it, coordinates are +- 3m, Little G's are usually spot on (and they are). Clue NFU to us, doesn't add anything, round and round again. Time to go to the next cache, and as we leave, what is this (a cache) and what did we spend ten minutes going round in circles when it was in plain view. Grand effort, thanks for the cache, one of the best of the day.
Bingo! Had a LG look today and had success. Amazing what you overlook the first time around. Third LGM attempted and 2nd found today.
The garden has a lot more grass and a lot less mulch than when I last attempted.

With a little encouragement from half of the team of LittleG Magic at the GSAK meeting, I have now this monkey off my back. What a duh moment when the penny dropped and I found it. Thanks - Kiwicampnut
It was a beautiful warm afternoon, a great day for geochaching. There were a lot of pukekos and muggles about. As usual, Little G got us to think. We really enjoyed this one. TFTC.
Had a quick look one night in the dark with no luck, but a different story today (with slightly different GPS location this time also?) nice quick find. TFTC Fun.
Needed a bit of maintenance but all sorted now. Hope it lasts as its a nice hide TFTC
2nd LGM for the day. Great. Altho the GPS routing wanted to bring me in to GZ via the transfer station!! Thanks
3697. Our last stop on the way home and we were rewarded by a quick find. The three year old was getting pretty tired by this stage but he enjoyed the find and blew his whistle all the way back to the car.
Thanks

Found. Thanks for some help from our friends. Clever hide as usual for LGM. TFTC
Arrived at GZ to find 2 cachers searching the area. Stopped to chat then searched some more. Eventually a call went out over here. The cache had been uncovered. After we all looged the find we strolled back to the cars and came across muggles eating fish n chips. Rosie decided she was going to hang around for a morsel under the seat. After a lot of coaxing she eventually came out tempted with a reward. TFTC
After a bit of encouragement,we were told to come here.We had a hunt around but as the light was fading fast,we thought we would have to Log a DNF.But WT had one more look and Yippee he spied it.A very clever and innovative Cache. Thanks LGM.Cheers Barbara & Terry.
TFTC. Had some ideas of what this cache could be like. GZ and beyond looks fairly walked upon. Probably an area of deep contemplation. I recommend careful reading of the cache description, espically regarding the plants. We met the Hello trio at GZ and enjoyed standing about together to sign the log. Left the great cache container as directed.
Didn't take long to find, had a rough idea of what to look for, but was covered. TFTC. Left as per LGM request
Bit of a surprise find for me. Was about to leave then had an idea and it worked. May find some others of LGM after finding this. Tftc
... and so I join the ranks of the unsuccessful.
The garden at GZ looks as though every sparrow in Christchurch has had a dust bath. Suspect that in unsuccessful rumagings the cache (in whatever form LG has chosen) has inadvertently been covered - even though the last few logs are find I know some DNF's have not been logged!

Prompted by team_gaters' success and the need to pick my daughter up from the airport, I gave this another go. found relatively quickly. I/we must have been just cm away on the last vsit. TFTC.

FTF. Just call me 'Mr Persistent'. Thorough and systematic searching paid off. Another most excellent cache by the Dynamic Duo....Thanks for the efort involved in placing the cache.
Popped out tonight to knock off a cache for the 366 challenge for Moneydork. He did all the work - well he had to really, getting a special mention in the description Cheers Gav [9200]
Arrived at GZ, searched extensively without success, went for a wander in the general area for inspiration, returned to GZ to be joined by team_gaters, searched some more, called it a day, ... to be continued.
Was in the area; had no idea what I was looking for but stopped in anyway. Raining and wet shrubby garden weren't pleasant - not surprised I didn't find it....will try again another day.
