Unable to find cache. But did find at ground zero, a Pen and a toy bat (flying sort). Think cache has gone.

It isn't every day you see 9 emus and 1 dingo in the wild . When I read others comments to watch out for the prickly pear I took that as a hint to the location of the cache. Don't do as I did and try and find the cache in the prickly pear. No the owner didn't hide it underneath one, lol. How I ended up with prickly pear on my bum no-one knows. They are not easy to get off.
Made a trip out to the Dam today to capture this Cache. I had previously travelled past the dam on a couple of occasions, but never been to visit the facilities. I was amazed at what they have to offer, I can now see why people enjoy going to Copeton Dam. I had little trouble in locating the cache, and took a US flag Trackable from this Cache to move it on to another location, when properly Logged. This was a good Cache in a rugged location, but I found it OK TFTC.
Found by team handlel. Watch out for tiger pear. dont take kids, dogs. left travel bug.

I rode out to this cache from the cabins at Copeton Dam where I'm staying for a few days. Its a fun ride using the bush tracks, I'm not real fit at the moment so ended up walking up some of the small hills, the downhill part is always worth the effort. Riding some of the dirt tracks was so much fun. It certainly wasn't the shortest route to the GZ, but seeing its the only cache out here I wasn't exactly sticking to a timetable.
Having read some of the other logs I remembered to wear decent shoes, the cache was a bit more exposed than I like so tucked it back in and covered it up, left a pen somewhere nearby as well.
Took the TB to continue his journey.
Cheers for the cache HoSports.

While staying at Bingara we took a day trip to Copeton Dam- what a beautiful park and it was also an amazingly beautiful day. Picked up a few prickly pears while trying to get a GZ but ended up being an easy find out in the open. Drop a large travel bug in this large container- thanks
Found it on 24/3/13!! With geokid and geocousin The prickly pear is everywhere, got poked quiet a few times A good spot, well concealed TFTC!! Swapped the tape cassette for a rose quartz crystal

Ich verbrachte mit Freunden einige schöne Tage am See und am Tag der Abreise fand ich dieses Cache
Found at 08:58 while taking a couple of days relaxing and camping at Copeton Dam.
Managed to get a prickly pear stuck on my big toe and found an easier way out of the GZ than the way I went in.

Called in to see the dam while it's almost full. Did some fishing and caching (more luck with the caching) with rain just over the other side of the dam. Nicely placed cache away from the many groups of camping muggles. TFTC HoSports.
Over to Copeton for the weekend for a bit of camping. Thought we'd check out this cache while we were over here, dam's looking really good at the moment at close to 100%. Well worth a look. Cache was quite easy to get to, and find.
It's hard to believe we are only the second to find in such a beautiful spot.
Thanks HoSports
