Sydney Feb 21 Trip. Day 3. I joined Fitzy_1965, MinnieK and Tankengine for a weekend trip to Sydney to attend a few Community events and do as much caching as possible. The second day was a leisurely walk down to circular quay doing lab caches and multi way points before boarding the ferry to Cockatoo Island for the second Community event of the weekend. The island was an eye opener with history from all different ages and a great collection of cachers to talk to. The afternoon was the trip home via the bonus for the Tank stream adventure lab series, then a but of suburban caching before the final trek to Goulburn and then Canberra. What a great weekend.
No luck for us here amongst the farmers friends and red back spiders.
Thanks.

Chooo ooo [DNF] - with Fitzy65 minniek and Albida on a Sydney caching trip to attend some Celebration Events with a whole bunch of other Canberra cachers - Thanks rinsemesocks!
One of two DNFs tonight. Looked in what I thought were the obvious spots, but came up short. Lots of cars and trucks driving through, but they weren't interested in a lonely cacher poking around!

On my way from Castle Hill to Punchbowl I stopped over for a few caches not too far from the route my car navigation showed me.
Good find after I figured out where to park the car.
TFTC.

rinsemesocks I found your cache Muir Road Troll @ Chullora on 11/5/19, 1:25 pm. This is my find 2355 and find # 7 today. A quick and easy grab. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
It was very late, we were parked where you wouldn't get away with it in the day so we did look odd -4 females scratching around to the fella walking by asking us if we were ok.. I just said I was looking for a injured cat we may of clipped, I figured that was better than telling him I'm looking for container at hidden roadside at midnight....the spiders and our pussy footing around them made this harder!
After over thinking this and pretending we were looking for a car when a stranger passed, this was actually a quick find. TFTC

For some reason I thought I would be going underneath but the phone kept pointing me to a more logical spot. Found an interesting bicycle parked nearby...

OCW Oldmorty and this was an unusual location. Visited the RSPCA last year to donate towels but didn't even look to see there was a cache across the road. TFTC
OCW morty8888. After finding a multi in Rookwood Cemetery we headed over to this cache where a quick find was made . TFTC RMS
On my way home me and geosister decided to stop off and grab this one.
No searching was required as we got to the location and had the CIH straight away.
The cache could do with a new log.
Thanks for the easy find.

Stopped at RSPCA on our way home today to say hello to the animals, but sadly found that it closed 15 minutes before we got there. We thought while we were there and out of the car we would check to see if there were any caches and what do you know, there was. After some treachery crossing the road we soon spotted a familiar hiding spot and had cache in hand, then back across the road.... eek. TFTC
Crikey! Small Enough For Ya? Great addition to road troll series

Located at 10:07pm. Coastblue had regaled to me the redback at GZ here, thankfully several quick reconnaissance snaps showed GZ to be gratefully redback free. I dived in and made the find and then dived back in to replace. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Spent the day training in Bankstown and was lucky enough to get an early mark. Got completely freaked out here by the ginormous redback just hanging out at GZ. Between the traffic I managed to make a quick retrieval and replacement. The cache is slowly filling with bits of replacement log paper. TFTC!
Headed to Sydney with my muggle brother today to pick up a couple of TVs.
Was driving past this one so decided to stop and cache was found quickly.

A short ride with our bike to find this one quickly but the area is very busy !
The big bike is very funny !!

A little wary of those spiders and their webs, but took my chances and found it. Was caught out by a local, but he knew what I was up to and said he sees geocachers there regularly.
No room to sign log, so took picture instead.

The railway was a surprise for me.

Two weeks in Australia for holidays with Kirdec.
Day 9. 38°C today, too hot for tourism, so we decided to do only cache in drive in the suburbs of Sydney, and only the one which can helped us to smile some challenges !
Multi, regular, some attractive words in title, ... plenty of reasons
Mostly, the caches were found without difficulty, thanks to all the owners for their work.
Greetings from France.

Day 9 in Australia with Junkys.
Today we stay in suburbs of Sydney to find special caches with specific criterias because we signed differents challenges all over the world asking specific conditions !
So, today we have to find some multi caches.
We have to find caches with word "rock" in the title.
We have to find caches with word "up" in the title.
We have to find caches with word "road" in the title.
We have to find a cache hidden the 24th august 2012.
We have to find challenge caches.
We use drive-in mode all this day for all this caches !
----------------------------------------
One more "road" cache on our drive-in day ! Not so easy to park our car here. Lot of trucks are working around. We parked our car a little bit far and after some researches we found the cache.
Thank you rinsemesocks for the cache and greetings from France.

Hard to see in there but a bit of feeling around in the dark got us there in the end. TFTC!
Parked nearby and then headed towards gz in search of yet another troll. Why do these types of caches always attract spider webs (and spiders). Agh. Had to brush away a few of both types during the search. But luckily the cache was quickly spotted. A new log is required here. TFTH

Great gecaching journey in Sydney! There are nice caches, well maintained.
Travelling with dzimaci is always fun.
I finally found time to log all those caches from the trip.
After the meetings in VWG we dashed to grab this nearest one and back to the hotel.
Thanks from Slovakia(Europe)

To-day I drove from Canberra to the Eye Clinic at the RSPCA for Betty the cat to have some surgery. Betty had to stay all day so I went for a 10 k walk around the suburbs whilst waiting for her and looking for geocaches. I then spent the rest of the day at Bankstown Central shops wandering around there.
Quick easy find, wanted to buy a pet but fellow geo neighbour would not allow it
Tftc!! My First one found in Australia.
Bring something with you for the spiderwebs.
Bring something with you for the spiderwebs.
Plenty of guardians at this one. Found with Happy Jackie. Watch out for the spiders. Thanks
I like the push bike you can see from ground GZ. Would not like to ride it though. Lots of spider webs around cache. TFTC
Visited with the animals (last time we were here they still rebuilding) and then found our way across the road. Cache is in order but could do with a new logbook.
Played Crossy Road getting over to the GZ with all the trucks about but it was an easy find once there.
Bike sculpture & old railway line were interesting. Log is a bit tatty, but definitely still useable. Tftc xo

Easy find, though beware of spiders and insects when you grab it. Clear the webs first!
After playing fairly well at golf today I knew I would be lucky and find a cache. Trucks and vehicles everywhere but nobody seemed to notice me. TFTC rinsemesocks
Aha, stopped to grab this one on my way home, the gates were opened so a I parked very close.. TFTC
Don't know about a troll.. but a disturbed fox in the grass nearly had me needing to rinse more than my socks. TFTC! . Without the clues I certainly wouldn't have found it in my lunch break
Nice quick find. I through your dirty socks and shoes at the rspca for not caring enough about native animals or production animals. Tftc
