Found the container broken, replaced container. Quick find. Found with Mogni. The plan this October Long Weekend was to head over to Victoria and host 3 CITO's plus host my first geocaching event, also increase my finds to 20 in at least 5 victorian LGA's. Given that we were caching in the country alot of km's were travelled. The weather was raining on and off all saturday including the night time but by luck all 3 events that day were dry. The first CITO ( and the cache of the trip ) was in Kaniva at the wetlands, the next in CITO was in Dimboola at one of the rest areas, and placing a future challenage cache then slowly making our way to wycheproof canavan park which was our accomadation for the weekend and then up to Mount Wycheproof ( the smallest registered mountain in Australia - at 43metres tall ) for my coffee and sunset event. Sunday started off with a early 630 am CITO in the Mount Wycheproof wetlands reserve ( sorry i did forget about daylight savings when i made the time for the event but it was a dawn and light still ). Now off to swan hill ( which is my least favorite LGA to cache in ) and then a few more LGA's and back to the tent in the dark well past dinner. Then it was slowly heading home via the silo arts works along the way and walpuep and then over the border to pinaroo and home. We went through over a milk crate of spare containers and got 2 and 1/4 garage bags of cans and bottles. Any caches that were found broken/cracked/etc were replaced and any full log books were replaced.
Found this one on a beautiful spring afternoon. Unfortunately, the container needs replacing. Signed log and returned as found.
Day 6 of my holidays today I left Lameroo after the amazing weekend at the event and made my way into Victoria. I managed to find 36 caches today and only 1 DNF today. I got as far as the Pink Lakes in the Murray Sunset National Park where I set up camp.A interesting spot just off the highway. Would make a good camp if someone is looking.TFTC cruisinblues
@1740 hours. Staying overnight in tye caravan in this peaceful free camp. Travelling home to Adelaide, having left Canberra a few days ago. Thanks for cache. In good condition, but lid clips have deteriorated.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to cruisinblues for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Exploring Murray sunset NP and Ngarkat Conservation Park. While stopping over here playing tennis we discovered the world of Geocaching. Thanks for setting it up! Little late on our posting as now on our next adventure to explore.
Am interesting location. Logged the cache after the giant lizard and I scared each other. TFTC
A quick find and the cache is in good shape. I think it would interesting playing on this court. TFTC.
We came here to camp over night and, of course, to find the cache. Wow, centrecourt alright!
In the club house we found a couple of racquets but no balls. Ah well, can't win it all.
A few months of 'unloved' to boot, very cool!

We found it!!! It was so easy it stood out so much. We had a look at the old toilet and club rooms and it was very interesting. You can also camp there.
Driven past this one a number of times over the years.
Finally managed to stop and checkout the centrecourt!

We're camping at Murrayville and decided to drive out to the border and then work our way back, collecting all the roadside caches as we go. The Ngallo Tennis Court place gets some complimentary comments as a campsite on the Wikicamps app we use although we think most people are only using it as an overnight stop.

Shame to see that these sorts of amenities are disappearing due to lack of use. So much has obviously gone into it's establishment.

After an event at Rocket Lake Saturday we have managed to cross Murray Sunset east to west and now north to south via the Border Track mostly. We camped near the rock holes last night and headed down here as we continued our journey south.
A airing up nearby we headed down the blacktop to Pinaroo for lunch and a refuel
Thanks cruisinblues.

An interstate trip of some 755 kms requires a very early morning start and of course a number of breaks such as this to refresh the body and the mind.
We aced this one 6-love, 6-love, 6-love a FP from us.
Our thanks to 'cruisinblues' for placing this cache for us to find.

We had spend the night in Murrayville and today heading home we came to find the last few caches in the district.
Wow what times would have looked like back here in the day! A great camouflaged cache at gz left for smiles on our faces. Thanks for showing us this area rich in history!

Feathertop and my epic trip to SA. has nearly come to an end. An early get up meant that we had time to discover a few more caches before the event and then head home. This was one of them.
Drove up, walked in and spotted the cache from the distance. Signed in and then headed back to the car for home.

A nice detour off the main highway to here. The cache lid is a bit worse for wear but upside down does the trick. Unique cammo!

Container really needs replacing as lid is on many parts. Didn't have a spare container so put all the contents in a plastic bag and used rubber bands to hopefully keep it all together. Hope it survives the predicted rain tonight.
Before I left Adelaide I was going to camp here for the night but as it was barely dark I thought I would continue on driving, made the nice and quick find although the container needs replacing
A huge weekend away, with over 2000km being driven over 3 days from Adelaide to Mansfield via swan hill and Echuca, then return via Bendigo and St Arnaud. The target was to collect 11 new local government areas and mostly stop and do some multis.
But the main goal was tour of Mansfield, a cycling tour consisting of 3 stages over 2 days (Saturday and Sunday).
Stage 1: 14km Individual time time trail.
Stage 2: 76km road race finishing up old Tolmie
Stage 3: 46km road race finishing up the top of mt bulla.
Wednesday I left Adelaide for Victoria via pinnaroo, I decided I would stop when I had enough of driving. I camped in the back of a cemetery yes a cemetery, nice and peaceful in Nyah. Thursday I made my way from Nyan to Mansfield via Swan Hill, Echuca and Shepparton with 2 trips over the boarder. A lot of DNFs on caches as some were barrow red off due to road works and others I must if stuffed up. I ended up camping the night in Mansfield. Friday I held my event in Mansfield with a big show of 1 (just myself)!!! And went for a drive up mt bulla. Saturday was mainly racing and Sunday after the race I made my way back to Adelaide via Victorias oldest cache and some new roads through the middle of victoria that I had never been on before.. With arrival on Monday at 1am back home. A big trip out and a great weekend away with a little under 100 finds.
Thanks for the cache placements by all the cache owners.

Hitting the road with hevwalker & muggle friend in tow bound for St. Arnard.
We were leaving a cool change in the Adelaide Hills, driving into hotter weather.
An interesting spot, by which one would have to play tennis at an angle to miss the two trees.
Still , not a bad spot if its free. We weren't game to use the toilets on such a hot day, probably where the wildlife were hiding.
So the driver promised a pit stop & some ice-cream before we melted.
Thanks for bringing us here cruisinblues

Road trip to St Arnaud with clare007 & a friend. The day was getting hotter as we travelled across the border...
This place, although a hot day, was a cool spot to visit...
A bit run down but rustic...
There was a sign at the entrance advertising drinks & ice-creams...we could have done with one of those right at that point...
We quickly located the cache...
Now off to Murrayville for that drink & ice-cream

The second day of caching either side of the border track near Pinnaroo, this time focusing on the Victorian side, targeting a few specific caches. Our main target for the day was to do Dessert Penguin and Mesa Rocks and then any other potential caches we had time for. It was a pleasant, all be it long hike into the main caches, though the views at both GZ’s made it all worth it. Logs were stamped and information for the earth cache was collected and we proceeded to make our way back out. We ended up having time for a few more caches on the way out, bust as it got dark we made our way back home, after a long day.

I missed this one while out touring the area during the Big Billy event yesterday so made a detour on the way home today to tick this one off.
A nice little quiet spot to stay and relax but not sure about the facilities, I must remember to bring the racquet next time and maybe a machete to do some pruning.

Found with PerpetuallyLost while staying at Murrayville before the Big Billy Event. We managed another quick find here on our tour of the district. TFTC Cruisinblues.
You could almost here the echoes of the roar of the crowds from tournaments gone by as the Fergzter and myself came by here in search of another cache in this region. I spotted the hide relatively quickly then tried to use myself as a shield while the Fergzter signed the log in case the one solitary camper nearby happened to be watching us. And we were certainly glad nature didn't call judging by the condition of the facilities nearby. They certainly had it tough back then! Tftc
Located this aptly hidden cache while grabbing a few caches on my way to Murrayville. There were no muggles camping nearby so it made for a quick find, tftc cruisinblues.
A cool spot for a cache and a nice stop on the way home to Adelaide.
I've had a big, but generally a relaxing couple of weeks away in Victoria.
Ballarat, Border track, Pinnaroo, Bendigo, Wedderburn, Swan Hill, Maryborough, Mt Beckworth and Mt Gambier are just a few of the spots I have visited during my caching trip. There was an emergency room visit, loads of driving, stacks of laughter, amazing food, lots of new learnings (like oh my goodness!!), and a wonderful mix of fabulous people.
I am loving this country and getting out and about in it!

Love an old Tennis court or new ones in the country. My husband can drive past lots of places where he used to play tennis in Sunraysia. Thanks for the cache. Poor Brian didn't get to look for this one as he headed around the corner and we pulled in. lol. TFTC.
Heading over to Swan Hill for an event with Mrs. Aussie M&M. As usual getting there is always the start of the fun. We met up with mogni in Pinnaroo as she was coming from a completely different direction. To save space, we simply put our group stamp of GOTHS (Geocachers Of The Hills) in the logs.
Many stops along the way just happened to be near caches. Go figure.
Cruisin down the highway I am in front and wondering if they are going to want to make the detour to this one. See no indicator so drive past, go around a bend and can't see them anymore. That answered my question. Big U turn and pull up just as the ladies have already found the cache. Damn didn't even get time to look
Thanks cruisinblues for the cache to break the trip.

Rolled up with balls but no raquet. The bush could be problematic but would add a fun part to the game. Perhaps that could be the net. Loved the loos at the back. Ladies/Gents - who cares.
Found on the Easter 3 state jaunt via SA, Vic then NSW. The weather was clear, the tracks were dusty and the skies were clear and starry. Catching up with friends along the way at the various events was also a bonus.

You know you're at a prime facility when the cache container has a better surface on it than the tennis court! Some campers found the container a while ago and signed the log book and left a shell. No campers today, just the setting sun to keep me company. Cache #2598.
I like bizarre and this ticks the box , makes you wonder what ppl were thinking when they decided to build a what looked to be a decent tennis complex will keep this place in mind next time we need a camp spot Thanks for this wayward adventure
Off the the Mallee for work and decided to break up the drive with a few caches here and there. Busy few days coming up plenty of work to be had so can't spend to long caching sadly

This was day 16 of our trip out of Sydney to the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania. we took the short detour off the highway to visit this quiet little place. We certainly had a good laugh when we realised where the cache was actually placed. It was a very hot day and nobody was playing today. TFTC.
TFTC Second time lucky, last time we tried there were people camping too close to GZ!

A cooler day between some warmer days called for a geocaching expedition! I realised three caches were yet to be found in Lameroo (we won't mention I missed one 10 minutes from home), so a route was plotted. I also found there to be a new cache deep in Victoria that required my "finding" - thus beginning a 2-day trek of 67 finds, 23 kangaroos, and a load of fun!

After staying in Ouyen over night, it was a new day and also there were caches to be found.
Arrived at the court, found a tennis ball and thought good cammo for a cache here, but not to be. In the end I found the cache in the open, (No not the Tennis Open) so after signing the log, I hope I replaced as it was meant to be.

As a little girl I played netball for ngallo. But That was long after these courts were used as we shared the courts and footy grounds with the Pinnaroo supa Roos. I've actually never been here so thanks for bringing me here and tftf!
What a great place to stay with all the facilities that are needed for camping. Unfortunately we couldn't take up the offer but will next time when travelling past. The cache was found O.K. thanks. Didn't unpack the racquets , thought we wouldn't get a true bounce of the ball!!!

After visiting our grand-daughter (and her parents) in Adelaide for near two weeks, we started to make our way back to Melbourne to catch the boat home. However, we took a rather rambling route. Today we went from Murray Bridge to Loxton to Pinnaroo to Warracknabeal and then to Stawell It was a long but enjoyable drive in cooler weather to yesterday.
When we saw this location, the words of John McEnroe were echoing in our ears "You must be kidding!!" This was certainly a unique location. We wondered how many "let" calls would be made if a game were to be played now or are there local rules which account for the unique situation. The well and appropriately decorated cache container was a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache crusinblues.
