TFTC! 15 October 2024 6:57:30pm 8641 thanks to pimpmyballoons for the cache! This one started a number of years ago when we started caching, and chipping Way st the mysteries. Often in the while the other was driving. Slowly bit by bit we chipped away at the caches depending on where we were headed and or if we were in the right direction to safely pull over. Finally we found our last Jack Speak today, and took a detour on the way home to find. A quick walk and some climbing over fallen branches. In a few minutes, we had the ammo can opened and signing the log book! We did notice some swag on the path on the way out and replaced a dinosaur who had escaped! Thanks for the great series!
Well, we had a go at working this out from the clues we had collected but our results didn't make much sense. Three of these caches we had found ten years ago and no longer have the clues. We ran out of steam today, but will return soon to re-find those three caches. Hopefully Maccas will be up and running again by then. Thank you for the series, it is great.
This one had us stumped, searching under so many possible hides, we reached out to CO, who kindly pointed us in the right direction. Our coordinates were 6m off. Thanks for the series. We enjoyed it.
Solved these some time ago and stopped to grab a few on our way past today. This one unfortunately evaded us. I looked high and low and cant believe I couldnt find an amo tin so maybe my GPS was off. Will wait and see if others find it and maybe look again on our return one day. TFTC
We solved some time ago, we did come in summer time to try & find it but was to afraid of moving sticks with kids.
I have visited and replaced cache with a brand new container and logbook 27/07/23 - Nice big Ammo can ready for more adventurers
This Cache has now been replaced with a brand new ammo can ready to be discovered. Thanks for your patience

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###

G'day there pimpmyballoons,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The cache has been [temporarily disabled](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, Post an [Owner Maintenance log](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating what you have done and that the cache is back as it should be. Then [ENABLE your cache](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) and sit back and wait for the logs of thanks and delight to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately) , so without a note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area has been flooded, the cache is in a remote/difficult to access location, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
All you need do is to [post a Write Note log](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=234) to the page (within 14 days). **Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.** When a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine, for a little bit longer.
**If you have a long term unavailability (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [Adopt your cache](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54). [^] Alternatively, you need to [Archive the cache](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. [xx(] It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then.
Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,

Found it but logbook is missing, no box or container sighted. Thank you for placing it
Found it in good condition! Think maybe it was not where it while have been as it was out in the open! We have placed it back where we think it should be! thanks for this series we had a great time over 2 days TFTC
Our with jaamc33-35 we have taken 2 weeks to complete, with all the clues in hand and a little help from CO we had the treasure chest in hand thanks for the series we had fun
Looked for a while with no luck. Think we had the right coords, second guessed ourselves and double checked many times. They seemed to match with what other people have said about odd location so we went for it. Found a few squashed down sections in the vicinity of the coordinates but still no luck. Hopefully be back another day and have a look with more eyes. Great rest of series but a shame to have this as the only DNF.
708 days in the making I can finally put this series to rest. After having to return to each cache multiple times to find the clues I’m glad I’m able to log this cache off. I’ve really enjoyed searching for each cache and clue and thanks to all the CO’s who have kept this series going. The placement of the final is a bit odd but I was happy to come across a nice big cache to finish the series.
Thanks for the cache and series

Find # 10909
Found with sharkiefan.
The task for today was to tackle the Jack Speak series and a few around the area.
Despite the morning drizzle we still managed to make the Jack Speak finds along the road. Even with a DNF we still managed to work out the final.
Then when the rain passed and the sun was out we done more exploring and finding quite a few "Welcome to..." cache at each town we passed coming back up.
Throwen in was a couple other puzzles we had solved.
A fun day had over on the Mornington Peninsula with a total of 45 smileys for the trip.
Even with missing a couple of clues we managed to work out GZ while having lunch.
When we got here it was on dusk. We tackled the thick scrub and prickle bushes and made our way to the cache under torch light.
Boy what an adventure. So glad we have gotten this one found. (Just the 1DNF on the series)

Jack Speak Day.
We had planned this trip a while ago and had the puzzles solved even longer ago.
Depsite the wet weather and gloomy looking day, we decided to head out and have a crack, prepared to give it up if it became too miserable.
Pleasantly we ended up with some beautiful if not windy weather and had a great time out this end of the state.
We had DNF in the series but was able to work out GZ.
I dont know why GZ is where it is or what the significance is but it was a bit of a let down after such a great series. Nasty thorn trees too.
I am super pleased to have this series off the list after around 6 or 7 years being transferred from phone to phone as I replaced them!
A great series.

It's the 12th of the month and time to go caching... Why? Because I have (foolishly) taken on **400 Challenge....with a twist** which requires you to find 400 caches on your choice of a particular day of the month... and the 12th is my choice as that day had a big head start over all the others. My plan for the day was to finish the **Jack Speak** series and so here I was on the Mornington Peninsula.
Having visited 15 caches ion this series at the end of March and the rest of them today, here I was... at the moment of truth. Did I have all the information I needed to find the final cache? I had two along the way which didn't help. Despite that I still didn't seem to have enough clues. Did I miss some or were they missing from replacement log sheets? I had no idea... and I certainly didn't want to revisit them all to find out. Using the information I had... and some intuitive guesses I came up with a likely looking location for GZ... so off I went.
Initially I thought my guesses must have been wrong... but I persevered and finally located the cache! I left a Trackable in the celebrate and give the cache a Favourite Point as a reward for the whole series.
Thanks **pimpmyballoons** for keeping this cache and the whole **Jack Speak** series going.

After visiting a friend nearby I decided to grab some letterbox caches amongst others to mix up my find stats.
Having completed the trail yesterday i was surprised that given the trail is designed to be completed in one direction I suspect based on road safety, the final is not at the end! So today on my way home I stopped by to grab the final after filling in some blanks from some logs that were unable to be accessed.
After navigating around the wet concrete path and workers at the entry to this park I worked on multiple avenues to access the thick bush. Fortunately I found the cache not too far buried in the growth. Interesting final GZ for a navy series but good fun all the same. Thanks for all the hides and puzzling effort in creating this trail.
Thanks -Lisette- for the cache.

After we found most of the caches of this series we now found this bonus as well.

We really enjoyed completing this series, from the puzzles to the hides, everything was simple yet rewarding and a different style to some of the caches we usually do.
In my newbie days of using notebooks to solve multis and mysteries, unbeknownst to the wonders of corrected coordinates, this 29 cache series was a behemoth of a task that I never dreamt of actually attempting.
But, a few years on, I actually had a crack at chewing my way through the series.
The puzzles were all solved in the spare time I had over a weekend and a map of solved icons sat before me, ready to be found.
And, over the course of two separate days, they were.
We made our way to each one and eventually completed a beautifully crafted collection of caches that provide joy in simplicity with a bit of naval slang thrown in the mix.
As for this individual cache, I sorted out the clues on our way back up the Peninsula and found that I was a few short, but two could be inferred with certainty and the other was guessed with a touch of logic.
Some good-looking coordinates were entered in and our final stop for today was identified.
A short walk in and off the trail, quite a few prickly plants about but it didn't stop us from getting to gz and finding the nicely-sized cache nice and easily with plenty of swaps within.
Signed the log and returned safely to its hiding spot.
Thanks to -Lisette- for all the effort you've put into hiding and upkeeping this series, it was a lot of fun to solve and find and is a wonderful, FP-worthy addition to the Mornington Peninsula.

I finished the series a while ago but my previous approach to Avast involved a snakey encounter on the path so I didn't even attempt to approach the GZ that day. I decided to wait for a cold miserable day when there would be less chance of another encounter. Just to make sure I got some info from Dvynanjl to confirm I was in the right area. Success!! Thanks Lisette for placing and maintaining the cache and for creating the series.. I have enjoyed the experience
Cup Day and everywhere is quiet. I have loved this series and was very happy to go bush bashing to find this swag filled large cache. Many kind thanks
Out with my geo son today finishing off with a grand find. We had finished interesting puzzles learning about all the navel terms a while ago and was just waiting for a full day to pick them up. Great day starting with the sun just rising and finishing off as it was setting, Discovering this area was an added bonus. Picked up the clues along the way although a couple were missing. A bit worried where it was leading us but we were soon found success. Lots of kiddies delights. Thanks for the series Lisette we really enjoyed our bison day.
Out Caching with XAMBO4U for a Mother Son adventure day. Time to knock out this series!
Was a long day with lots and lots of bison hanging from the back of pine trees.
What an amazing series and so proud to complete the entire run with NO DNF's
Started thinking the final GZ was in a weird place but trusted the co-ords and soon had it in hand. Great size for lots of trackables. Thanks so much for setting up this series.

It was leafotwind's idea to see if we could knock off the Jack Speak series (which he'd done the virtual hard yards on), and maybe turn the outing into a 50+ day. I provided the vehicle as he's, er, between cars at the moment, and despite the weather not quite cooperating, we achieved our goal, and some.
Only one DNF, which is pretty darn good considering my usual blindness to one particular kind of hide which happened to predominate this afternoon.
-Lisette-, thanks for a fun trail of caches. We certainly had to work to get at this one, inevitably finding the easier way out.

I had solved the series some time ago and had always intended to try and combine it with a couple of the shorter series' put out by other cachers to achieve a tally of 50 for the day. I thought some company might be in order both to add to the fun as well as provide a separate set of eyes. Nirgalagrin answered the call and a good thing too! He dialled in a little earlier than I and a number of those bisons might have taken a lot longer without him!
We did end up hitting 50 for the day and amongst those found the only 5/1 trad in the whole of Victoria by happenstance!
Thanks to all the COs who placed these caches for everyone to enjoy and indeed in the case of the Jack Speak series have maintained them for all these years.

This was a great series and with the help of Grub62 and Crustyvarmint I managed to complete it. The bush was a bit thick getting into this the final cache and I think that a few of the other caches in the series which have replacement logs seem to be missing clues. But good old Crustyvarmint managed to nut out the final co-ordinates. A very big TFTC. This series deserves a favourite point.
After finding all the feeder caches the other week, we had some trouble working out the final coords for this cache. We looked at the area and doubted ourselves. After contacting beckNmonts for some assistance, Beck was able to confirm that our solution was correct.
Today I went back with Grub62 and Bunadoorian to pick up some caches on the peninsular, and we made a concerted effort to find it. Success!
Thanks for the series Lisette it's been great.

Out for a day caching with Bunadoorian and Crustyvarmint down on the Mornington Peninsula - this was the first find for me today. I had solved the Jack Speak series but not yet found them - I was a passenger on this one today.

Pwala and I decided it was about time we found these caches. We had solved the puzzles about a month ago, but today was the day we were both finally free. I was skipper for the day and Pwala the main finder. We managed to only have one DNF for the series, and had a great afternoon! Thanks so much for placing this series -Lisette-
After the hectic festive season, I needed a day to escape from my busy life and do this series with beckNmonts. I really enjoyed exploring this area. -Lisette- Thanks you so much for the fun series.
Took a while to find this one we were so relieved when I found this cache, as I saw a brown baby snake under a log around 2 metres from the cache. Afterwards, I looked up the photo of our logs and I realised that I wrote the wrong year in one of the logbook - 2012. Oops!

Every day before the Melbourne Cup public holiday, work completely closes, so that gives me a paid long weekend. The plan with this day off was to hit the Mornington Peninsula.
This was one of the targetted caches that I had planned for today because I wanted to rectify my previous DNF.
Followed the same paths that I remembered from my search in the dark, but at least this time I could see further and much easier to ensure I didn't head back over previous searched areas.
After a short time I saw an item I couldn't remember and the cache was then found. Not sure why there was 2 log books but I signed them both. The lid of the ammo can wasn't sitting right, but I disconnected it completely and then re-attached it, and it then closed properly.
Thanks for the cache -Lisette-, favourite shared point for the whole series.

DNF for me at 11.30pm
Too dark, too scrubby, and GPS bouncing everywhere.
Will try again another time in the day light.
I WILL finish this series.
Thanks anyway Lisette.

After getting the clues we sat down in a cafe at Flinders and did the cals. Oh no we remembered that in one cache the clue was so wet and smudged that we could not read it. We methodically went through the final and fortunately we were able to determine the missing clue number. With this punched into the GPS we were confident that we were ok. At GZ we had a search and soon the final was sighted. The log was signed and now back safe again.
Thanks Lisette for a fun series that had a good ending.

We made a real mess of our last attempt here, so we had to make amends today. So in the company of The_Tritonz, we rectified our mistake. After all of our hard work, it was great to able to finish this series off. TFTC -Lisette-
After finishing this series a very long time ago with DAB and totally messing the final up, we finally got to revisit Hastings today and put our names in the logbooks.... yes there are 2!

Funnily enough I realised that I had not written up a log for this cache being a month after the initial find this is quite unusual for me either way this is what I happen to recall about this cache. After doing a maintenance run on the series and some other caches that the CO knew had to be replaced I was told that they would just take me to the final as a reward. So I was more than happy to comply (as it was right in the middle of an area that I had cleared out). Anyway it seemed as if the owner was not 100% sure where they had placed it haha, memory is amazing sometimes. But sure enough the cache was found and another smiley was added to the list. Thanks for the cache and the fun day out doing some well needed maintenance.

Well this one has been a while in the making! Solved the series in 2015 and collected three-quarters of them on New Year's Eve that year. Came back in the last month to try the remainder and came to a realisation that I had been a bit lax on collecting clues and so my information for this one was incomplete. I revisited a couple of caches in the series and had enough to generate an estimated GZ for this one. Headed there this morning shortly after sunrise to take a look. The foliage was a little wet from overnight rain and I didn't make things easy by approaching this from the wrong side (I later realised!) but after a bit of searching I spotted the excellent container. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the series and for the cache Lisette. This one earns a favourite point from me.

Well it's finally Mad March Mystery Month for me and the count is now climbing towards at least 31 mystery caches for the month, hopefully. Solved the puzzle some time ago but I had to wait until March to go find the prize.
Did the rest of the series a long time ago and worked out the final coordinates at the time but the cache was disabled at the time. Finally I have had time to get back here to make the find
**Thanks for placing this cache and for the series -Lisette-**

Jack has spoken. I have had these on the Astro radar for a while. Great to explore and also catch with AstroThomas who is working in the waters near by. met some interesting people and tasted some good local food and sipped some local beers as I explored over a few days here.
Thanks to -Lisette- and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!
I nearly forgot to log the last cache! Thank you so much for this series, -Lisette-. I have loved it. A fave point from me

The long-planned birthday cache run finally arrived! Having discovered that Omegaman1971 and I were born only two days apart, we agreed to go caching to celebrate our almost-joint birthday. Omegaman invited a few geocaching friends along, and we soon had a couple of cars full. After birthday cake and presents in Hastings, we piled into cars and started out on the Jack Speak series. We had planned this trip months earlier, and had long since solved the puzzles. We picked up a few other caches along the way to add to our collection of smiley birthday faces In the end, I did find my 1000th cache; it was nice to do it with such a great group of geocaching friends!
Thank you to everyone who placed and maintains caches in the region. I look forward to completing more of them when I move down to the Peninsula next year...

Well we finally completed it and we had a ball in the process, many thanks to the CO in the series and the hides, some proved a little trickier to locate than others but we managed to find them all and of course it was only natural we would try for the final. This one was quickly located after a short search, thanks again -Lisette- for the series, great to be able to do it in the company of some other fantastic cachers.
Cache with old and new friends. A great day to spend 2 birthday celebrations. thanks omegaman for the lift and the invite. A great series with the puzzle and the slang...I learn a lot. Well done -Lisette-

**Find #2502**
**Mystery Find #307**
2.5 years in the making, I've finally completed this series. Solving the puzzles was enjoyable as was finding each of the members of this series. So many caches found between the start and end and so much experience gained. A bushfire claimed this final and then we all had to wait several months before the public was again allowed access to the area where this cache is hidden. I happily, if not a little wearily signed the log. It had been a long day after not much sleep. A favourite point for this series.
Too travel bug.
Thank-you to -Lisette- for placing this geocache

gwd.aussie and I targeted this series of caches and enjoyed exploring the area. Having found the others in the series and working out the final coordinates for Avast we made our way to the GZ and quickly made the find.
Thanks Lisette for an enjoyable series.

3:22 PM #1962 Out on a rainy day mission picking up a solved puzzle series with OzHockeyChick and MarkandKelly : Well at the end of the line now and all info gathered and all thoughts combined within the crew. A little bit of research to where we had to search and off we went dodging landmines from dinasaurs and thong ridden smokers attempting to quash our mission. Nether the less we came out trumphs and scored the find with victory at heart and food in mind... Thanks for a great little series

The story behind solving and finding this series begins on a cold wet Friday night. Spread out in a warm study belonging to OzHockeyChick while working on an idea for a new series of caches. This idea needs some research, which meant viewing the Geocaching map of near and wide caches..........until coming across this Jack Speak series. Deciding to have a 'quick look' it resulted in the solving of the puzzle and ultimately set of coordinates for a caches. Being the puzzle tragic's that this pair have become, soon there were 28 such sets of coordinates and it was 2am!!!!
With Mark working over the weekend and the geokid's at their respective others, Kelly had grand plans for a well earned sleep in and bum about the house day. But wait, who does that with a solved series in their caching notes and an equally raring to go OHC and 88Andy88 just around the corner.
Off to the peninsula it is then with 88Andy88 doing the steering and the puzzle pair doing the Nav work and final puzzle solving. Starting at the Northern end and working South along the line, we managed to dodge the worst of the showers and not get the **slops** soaked while scoring some really great views of the rolling green farmlands and the windswept bay. Finally with the series **spitcher** and the position of this final in hand, Kelly found herself on familiar ground. The area around here was burnt by a scrub fire a few years ago and it was Kelly's first job as a qualified Air Observer to plot and map it's progress and provide feedback to the firefighters on the ground and controlling agency as it spread though the coastal scrub.
The find was pretty straight forward for the **Banyan party** but they had to not **let the cat out** to a curious **round the bend** armed with his flip-flops, a dart and his own can of Jack. Cold and damp we were all off to a local fast foodie for a **beef-chit** and a **goffer** as none of the crew had eaten and didn't want to **muster the bag**!..Thanks for a great series -Lisette- it was a lot of fun...

After we completed the series, we found a nearby cafe and ordered coffee and cake while we compiled our clues. I was reading out the names and the numbers and then trying to figure things out. We were the only customers in the shop and the lady serving us wondered what we were talking about. She had heard about geocaching and has a friend who does it and we highly recommend this series, it was a lot of fun. The final cache was a bit of a challenge, after an initial false start because some number issues we were on the right trail...but it still felt not sure, and it was dark now and raining harder but we had to finish the series so we pushed on and it was so nice to find the final cache!

A quick drive around to find the best place to park.
After dodging the giant (human?) landmine, we made our way to gz, to find the nicely camo’d cache. Watch out for these plants – they bite! LOL
Definitely a nice series, and a fav point heading your way.
TFTS -Lisette- Cheers

Suscoe had a delightful day out on the Peninsular today.
It was mostly sunny with a cool breeze and some rain came in late in the day
How lucky were we.
Saw some beautiful countryside and enjoyed a fantastic range of caches

After collecting sixteen clues today, and a previous trip to collect the southern half of the series I was ready to find this final cache.
My husband was not sure that I was on the right track but he does not come out geocaching with me very often. He wanted to stay on the formed path but I followed the GPS and had the cache located in a very short time. My husband was very impressed by the container as he had never seen one used as a cache before.
Thank you for creating the series and the upkeep that must come with having so many caches. My family enjoy sailing so we loved learning the Naval Slang terms, some of which we were familiar with and others that were new to us.

After recent prompting, thanks Ministro, I decided that I should come check out the park for updates for when it would be open again and to my surprise it was. The new cache has been placed although not quite in the same place as I couldn't even find the log it was under before. it will be really easy to find at the moment as there is not much around to search so happy hunting everyone.
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been longer than 28 days since the last reviewer note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 28 days), just contact us (by email) once the cache is in place, and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
I have Tis cache ready to go in the boot of my car for when the park is open to the public again. If anyone notices that it is open before I do can they please let me know. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.
Logging once obtaining permission from the owner. Thank you very much for the series
With approval from the Cache Owner, we are logging this as a find after completing all of the series and collecting the required clues.
Thank you to Lisette for this great series of caches, which took us to places we haven't been before. They were easy to do, once I worked out how to find a Matrix Location. We never hoped on completing all of these caches in the few hours we had, but they all just fell into place - very satisfying to us both.

The area is still inaccessible by the public so I cannot replace it yet. I will look into doing a temporary offset but until I do the cache is still available to log by arrangement with me.
As the area was ravaged by fire not so long ago I have been waiting for the vegetation to regrow before attempting to rehide it. I will go and do a recon of the area in the next few weeks and hopefully there will be somewhere to hide it.
Permission to log given by CO after I provided the solved coordinates. Thanks brilliant series.
I have finished the whole trip and was at the final place.
Wrote to Lisette and she give me log permit.
Thats fine because I am from Vienna 70te years old and will never come again to this place.
Also now I can give a fav. Point for this super ideea.
Thanks a lot.

Logging with permission of CO.
We completed the series today but the final was where the fires were recently. However we did find the ammo tin and some of it's melted contents, but the log book was all wet as the cache had been exposed to the heavy rain recently.
Thanks to Lissette for all the caches today and a fabulous series.

Found it in a day of geocaching with cathylm today. Arrived at GZ to find container open and some contents melted. With all the rain (and possibly firies hoses) the log back is intact but water logged.
We have picked up the container for CO to salvage what she can.
Thanks for an awesome series. Definitely a fav point from me.

Many thanks to CathyLmorgan for retrieving this cache. It will be put back in action once I know what is happening after the recent fires.
Not sure but there is every chance that this one went up in smoke in the recent fires. I will check up on it when it is safe to get to the area.

A new years day caching trip with GeoMum carkisser and GeoStepDad Sando23468 to complete -Lisette-'s Jack Speak Series.
We completed the series in one go and this one was my favourite. We took some time bush bashing for this one before I found the cache. I've had a ton of fun today with all of these caches. Thanks -Lisette-

Sando23468 and I took Wings Of Freedom out for a days caching for the new year. I'd previously solved the Jack Speak series, so the plan was to complete the series this afternoon. We started at Flinders and planned to drive to Hastings. #29 of this series for us today. The final one. We have all loved this series, with mostly easy finds, a good distance apart and despite the high muggle and auto traffic levels they weren't impossible to get. Got a couple of motorbikes give us a toot at one stop - have to imagine it was the CACHER plates on the car We had to do a bit of bush bashing to reach the final, and noticing that there was a DNF recently we weren't sure what we'd find. As it turned out, I was kneeling to watch WOF through the trees and as I went to stand up, I realised there was some obvious camo beside my knee. As I started to say 'hey look at this camo', WOF had turned towards me and spotted the tip of the cache and pointed to the same spot calling out 'found it' lol I'd been almost kneeling on it for several minutes, too busy watching WOF and Sando clamber around to notice it. The cache is in good condition and quite well loaded with sway. There was a TB inside that was released by it's owners two days shy of a year and had been placed in a cache just north of Melbourne that is now disabled, just 7km from home. No further logs on it to say it was picked up or dropped off, but here we find it over 70km away and in one year it's had zero movement WOF grabbed the TB so we can move it on and hopefully it can begin to follow it's goal. At the end of all of this fun we caught up with -Lisette- and handed over the old logs that we'd replaced and ended up having a long chin wag Thank you Lisa for the series, the fun and the help when I'd failed to update my own list lol It's worthy of note that we made our 500th find on this series
Well this is disappointing: Armed with all necessary information but one clue, which we deduced, we came up with a GZ that just was not right. We tried to improve our solution, kept re-reading the story, but had to concede defeat for today. We are hoping to return to the area one day - and to have worked out and corrected our error by then. After all our Jack Speak learning, we failed the final exam!
However, we did enjoy the story and the tasks a lot and had planned to award a favourite point to the final cache. Just postponing, not giving up.
Thank you for the fun and for the views, especially at the southerly caches in this series!

We were getting worried after a wrong attempt. Armed with the clues we had a bit of a dyslexic moment and mixed 2 numbers up. We had a lovely walk in a likely spot but ended up off the beaten track. Back in the car feeling ready to give up, we went thru the story again and spotted our mistake. Finally we arrived at gz and wondered if we were in the wrong place again? Those magic words "found it", music to my ears. Signed log, Took tb. Thanks for this challenging series. I am very relieved to say that it is finally complete
Let's learn the lingo that Jack Tar talks
To find whereabouts we have to walk
Loved the puzzle in the grid
To locate where each cache is hid [8]
Started on some rocky seas [B)]
With calculation intricacies
Hit the trail this sunny day
Only 2 missing DNFs all the way
But still found the bonus last
Avast ! Raise the victory smilie mast ! [^]
A great puzzle trail, very well designed. Solved this in NZ in preparation for a trip to Melbourne so was a great day to be here. Wow is a busy road even for mid week. Thanks for the series and bringing us out here. A favourite for the series.

Very disappointed not to have found this one. We felt sure we had worked out the co-ordinates correctly but hint told us we were wrong. Back to the drawing board.
I came down today with Cammelb to do the Jack Speak series. We had two dnfs out of the 29 caches, but both of these may have been muggled. I enjoyed doing the series and we were able to work out the coords for this hide even with the dnfs and forgetting to write down some clues.
Thanks for a great series Lisette . A favourite point from me.

Despite a couple of DNF's along the way and not noting the clue on the first couple of caches, we managed to get the right coord and find the cache. Woot! Thanks very much for the series, most enjoyable
Arrived to Australia yesterday for a 6 week stay in the country. After having picked up our car at the airport we drove through Melbourne and south towards Mornington penisula. We found a nice motel in Frankston and after a nights sleep we looked forward to this cache serie.
All puzzles were solved some months ago and now is was time to find the caches. We started at the south part where we had an amazing view of the ocean. We managed to find all caches, not without trouble but all finally found. One of them was wrongly calculated by us but during our lunch (at the beach) we managed to find out the correct solution. Therefore we had no DNF's today.
We had sunshine and really nice weather during our trip the only problem was sometimes the trafic. After finishing the trail we sat down with a cup of tea and managed to figure out how to find the "Avast" cache. We will give a fp to the final cache but it is for the total serie. Many thanks for all the caches, and for the nice puzzles. We enjoyed both to solve and now also to log them.
Sorry for the copy and paste of the logs but it is not possible to remember each hidingplace as a lot of them were similar.
Greetings from two Swedish cachers.

Thanks Walenators for this ripper series. A few had us looking for a little while but got there in the end. Great job buddy.
Tftc. We completed the trail thanks for the walenators..... and this final cache. Greetings...... from new zealand
Having found and logged all the Jack Speak caches we carefully worked out the final destination and set off. Unfortunately the GZ at our deduced location was not accessible today, nor for the next 2 days due to chemical spraying of weeds.
Will return sometime in the future to finish off this final cache in the Naval Series.

YAY - after a few hours of driving and a number of detours (Picking up other hides) - both Beejay and I had finally completed the last of the JS PT.
An overall awesome day was had by all - The weather was supreme as was the series. The final I must admit came as a "HUGE" surprise BUT a welcome one at that.... well thought out
As beejay and I made our way thru the series.... starting from Hastings, we didnt even bother to look at the Hints NOR did we read the description page - we just inputed the co-ords into the G and smashed 'em one by one - which ultimately makes the find a lot more rewarding
Many thx to walenators for the series and also to beejay for the company - It truly was a fine day!!
An overall awesome day was had by all - The weather was supreme as was the series. The final I must admit came as a "HUGE" surprise BUT a welcome one at that.... well thought out
