Bit of a grotty spot. One of those 'eww - I hope it's not under there' places...
Our first find in this series. Awesome. I have been wanting to start this for ages. TFTC #96
After a lovely run at the beach we still needed a few caches for today 
on our way home we stopped here and found this one easily. Many thanks

When searching, got caught up in Spider webs [l)] and hair got caught in bushes. ( If you are a girl, don't wear a bun ) After a while, found. TFTH
A nice quick find, got the code, signed the log and then I was off for lunch! TFTC

Finishing off this series was why we decided to head out this way today. With the exception of the DNF we had in Cashmere last night we only needed this one and New Brighton before the final. Thanks for the easy cache [:)

Parked up on Anzac Drive and walked over. When I got there saw there was an easier way to get there. Pit falls of not having maps on my GPS. Seventh find for the day. Log was quite wet. TFTC.
After missing out on a possible FTF this morning, this was a nice quick find. Went to the GZ and noticed that something looked a bit out of place, and found the cache in the first place I looked. THanks for the cache.
A quick find in a sadder area of town where evidence of the earthquake still exists. Found while out caching with 00k for the afternoon. TFTC

One last hanging out with the friends before they go back up to Auckland for the semester, and so we went to have a picnic and hang out before the traditional me driving round and dropping everyone back off.
Now one of these friends lives on the street the cache is on, but I have somehow never gone for the cache, as he lives at the other end!! And so I decided that this probably being the last time we would all hang out, had to get the cache!!
And so we parked on here. A dog was around wondering the street, and the neighbours were having drinks in their front yard, so we had to be pretty sneaky about it. Took out like 3 spider webs on the way in, but luckily we were out of sight. Didn't turn the torch on till we were right inside, and even then were careful where we shone the 3 million candle power thing!!
Spotted the cache pretty quick though, and signed it quickly too, before fighting our way out of there, and trying to get the dog to come over once we were near the car!

I'm surprised at the number of little parks that there are in Chch and how many of them have a cache tucked in under a bush somewhere. Quick find in a deserted park.

I was out and about fairly early this morning before I left Christchurch in the afternoon. I was getting a few odd looks from some of the locals here so I didn't hang about too much.

Found a few of these now but haven't been taking down the numbers. Will corner the CO at a forthcoming event and bribe him.
Found it - nice quiet reserve with nobody around. Another one in the CSGQ Series done. TN:LN. TFTC. #104 for us.9645... Not a Suburban area we are familiar with, nice to grab another cache for the Quest, TFTC.

A quick trip to this side of town after report that Lunar store room had been possibly compromised by aliens. All well there, and a quick find here.

I overshot GZ initially and ended up searching the wrong spot for a bit. Let the GPS settle and it pointed out the error of my ways and led me straight to the cache. Yet another one of this series slowly knocked off. TFTC, Biggles.

Found it. Sat amongst bourbon cans and decomposing rabbit/cat to sign log yeeauch!!

Quick find! Still no sign of the magic numbers. Any chance of messaging them to me? 
I am planning a cache maintenance run in the coming week, which includes this cache. I will replace the code then. I will email the code number to all the cachers who have already found the cache - there will be no need to re visit the cache.

Over in this part of town for an event at South Brighton so thought I'd find another couple of this series. Found easy enough - BUT (sob, sob) no clue in it. has an overeager cacher taken it with them?
#536: CSGQ #3 for the Day.
I was out this way to pick up a TradeMe item, and so decided to clean up all the CSGQ hides on this side of town. As other have written, this part of town is still in rough shape. I was sad to see a lady walk out of her house and into a Port-a-Loo out front. I hope things get back to "normal" soon for these folks.

As the day had dawned fine but with strong NWers up one the ski field conditions were just made for today being just right for a cyclocaching tour around the eastern suburbs gathering CSGQ data. This was the first stop.
