The time has come to archive this series. I apologise to the Christchurch Geocaching community for letting it fall into disrepair. If you have found some of the caches and not others, and you want to find the final, email me the codes you have already got and I will reply with the location of the final (if you have emailed previously for help with this series and I haven't replied, please email again). I will archive the final at the end of the year. Regards, Dan.

#7423. Out for a walk with the pooch we are house sitting. This cache was reasonably close so we thought we'd make it our destination. Quite a few fellow dog walkers were taking advantage of a mild summer day, and a number stopped to chat. Troodles found the cache, and the dog wasn't interested; looks like it won't make a decent geo-hound. TFTC.
Finding the last caches of 2013....and this was the first for today. The fine weather had brought out the muggles - a family group were playing cricket and a guy was mowing the cricket pitch (with a reel mower which he had to keep emptying around GZ).
Had to keep one eye on the mowerman while disappearing into the bushes. Found in third place I checked. No sure what's happened to the info for the final - no sign of any numbers in or on the container. TFTC.

Checked today, last log is correct, cache all good. I have made it a bit more obvious (to cachers) and so long as everyone re-covers as found it will stay simpler, remember note about coordinates.
Cache was there - just buried under some lawn clippings from a neighbour. I used the GPS and hint and it was soon located. TFTC - this is my most Southerly cache on a quick visit from Wellington.
I expected it to be harder due to the mulch and number of possibilities but eventually I saw it peeping out. TFTC
Quick find while picking up a few caches in the evening - couldn't see a number in it though. TFTC, #5091
Not too hard to find but as previous cachers have noted, there are no numbers in the cache.
While out and about had a little spare time after a gym session followed by a coffee appointment went and checked this GC, some workmen nearby but too busy to notice what 1eyennbf (on eyed and proud of it) was up to. Quick and easy, the second CSGQ find ofr the day (Papanui being the other one). Nice one TFTC
Hi ho hi ho a caching i will go. Gps was bouncing about a bit but that's to be expected under tree's with a a cell phone. But a little bit of persistence and process of elimination and the cach was in hand. Tftc
A quick find as I raced around the city picking up the series. I'm sure I've been here before but haven't logged this one so it may have been an old archived cache. Note: I couldn't find a number, two digits or otherwise, in this one. Tried inside the container and on the front and back of the log sheet. No joy
After abandoning a previous attempt because of a torrential downpour, I was thankful that this was an easy find today. Cache was covered by some lovely yellow fungus of some sort? or hopefully it was just pollen or something. Thanks for the cache. Good to knock another one off in this series.
Didn't have any success on my first trip here. I also hadn't cached in a while and need to remeber how to be stealthy, got some strange looks from dog-walkers and joggers.
This cache proved really tricky. This was my third visit here and I was thinking that it might be a DNF. I had tried the day before and found nothing but persevered and only after a short search - there it was! CatMad had been there before me and possibly had "refreshed" the location.
Almost gave up but spotted something that didn't look quite right and there it was. Happy Valentines Day.
Finally! This was my 2nd attempt and I almost cracked a wobbly but at last pass I spied something.
Tftc. Coords seem fine... came yesterday, but no pen so completed on another loverly day
I walked all the way over and found one person in the park in the corner I wanted to go to. But he was occupied with his dogs so I managed to duck in and retrieve the cache. Phew.
Just one more cache for the day and from this group found. Knocking them off one at a time.
Found the cache exposed so put it back where I thought it was supposed to be.
Parked on the side street and there seemed to be a steady stream of people from the alleyway so I was concerned how I was going to grab it but ended up being straight forward and I got a few nice photos taken as well.
Thanks for the cache.

Another early as morning pre-going to the gym cache find. Had been eyeing this cache up for a wee bit already actually, as I saw it was not too far off the road, part of this series, so it couldn't be too difficult, and also on the way (ish) to the gym... (When you geocache, everything seems to be on the way to somewhere... )
Parked on by early morning, and saw someone in the building down the end of the park!! Was pretty surprised at that actually!
And then once I got to the GZ, yes I did have a torch with me, but I didn't even need it, as I spotted a bit of obvious cover somewhere where the GPS pointed to, and yay!
TFTC!!

Lots of people playing cricket today. The cache was lying exposed on the ground, so I put it back where I thought it was supposed to be. TFTC
Gps wouldnt give anything but general location. Spent ages looking but after being attacked by holly gave up
Easy find, I am concerned it may not be in the right place. Sounds too easy considering some of the comments below. The cache was out, sort of in the open. I wondered if it was meant to be tucked into the nearby tree, but decided to just leave it as found. Will return to sign tonight. TFTC
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
After grabbing the other nearby cache, we headed towards this one, and between muggles, we swooped in for the find

Great stuff! 2 down now heaps more to find. This now needs to be the mission for the summer to knock off the other CSGQs!! GPS bouncing around a little so had to guess roughly where it may be. Glad I had already found the Riccarton CSGQ as knew what to look for as had no hints with me.
Reperio at 1035.
After a great week was had touring around the South Island with Roostaman...including attending the mega event in Dunedin...we spent today finding some caches in and around this wonderful city of Christchurch. By now I think we had lost count of how many caches in this series we had found...but we knew we wouldn't be able to complete all of them so we didn't worry about collecting the info inside. This one was found without too much trouble.

Find # 4771 and a total of 52 today with Marcus Vitruvius, on our NZ Mega trip.
Another day of Mega caching around the Christchurch suburbs and city.
Another nice cache and hide, we had to be very discreet and then on the way again.
TFTC dan.reilly,

9662... Out and about on our Suburban Geocaching Quest, quick grab at Merivale, TFTC.
GPS didn't send me too far from cache, got it with about 5 minutes of search. TFTC.
Was about to abandon the search when the last 10 seconds of searching time turned up the cache.
At last!
My GPS really does not like this area.
Came back with KiwiCampNut after 8ManAfter's event cache. The second cacher I'd looked with who had previously found it.
After a 20min or so hunt over a 30m stretch of garden my GPS finally said 0m and KCN recognised the tree.
So pleased to have this one off my list!

136 - Nice day for a lovely walk in a park that I have driven past many times. The log was out of its bag but thankfully dry, so after signing I returned it to its protective plastic covering. I would have liked to have stayed and played a while longer but needed to head home and catch up on some chores. TFTC
A quick easy find after walking across the park, with some wet squelchy patches in places. TFTC
Came to find this one while waiting for inspiration for a nearly puzzle.
Did not find this one - as I left a runner asked "Did you find it?" - it was SurveyBase who had found it before. So we looked together, but neither of us had any luck. Did find a find wire - could this be to do with the cache?
Either it has migrated quite some way from where SurveyBase found it, or it has gone in the last few days.
However, all was not lost - when I returned to GZ I managed to locate cache within minutes.

A reasonably easy find after a bit of a search...look forward to finding the others in this series
A bit of a fossick. Nice spot. Disturbed some muggles smoking electric puha. TFTC
Gps ran out of battery only 86 meters from GZ so we used the hint and eventually found.
TFTC!

Pretended to be watching Cricket to find this cache. Quickly grabbed the prize during a exciting moment in the game. TFTC
Ahem.. container sitting on the ground out in the open.. .. I put back into a more usual kind of spot.
Found with my girls on a late Sunday afternoon. They climbed trees while I continued the search. TFTC
Was in Christchurch with Mrs Yeetrees for a long weekend and decided that we would do a few caches while we in town, arriving near GZ we were able to find a carpark on a side street about 100 metres from GZ and found a side entrance into the park where this cache was hidden. After a short walk with Mrs Yeetrees we were soon narrowing down on GZ and arriving at GZ we were very lucky as it was a week day and there were only a couple of local groundmans doing thier chores in the distance and we soon narrowed down the final hiding spot for the cache at GZ. This was our first cache for this series and I was glad I read the cache page and we gathered all the extra details after signing the cache and then we were soon on our way back to the car after hiding the cache back exactly where we found it, thanks for placing a cache here and for bringing us to this very interesting local sports park, TFTC TNLNSL (4093)
Wow, what a busy park at 8am in the morning. About half a dozen dogs and their owners, a couple of guys rolling the cricket pitch, school children using the path bordering the park and 3 groups of 4 or 5 men passing by (I think they may have been a cricket team looking at the park). So, I had to be rather more furtive than I expected to have to be. Found though. TFTC
found in today's the day's search cache. Everything I went through on foot, in the city and in nature, and thank you for the interesting places in New Zeland. Greeting from the Czech Republic
Picked it up on my way home from work tonight
Nice night for muggles to be in the park apparently, but they were mostly preoccupied with their own interests.

I had been here before with a friend and failed to find. Here with another friend and she found in no time. Grrrr
Loud appeal for LBW, not out! Had to search the slip corden but soon found it. TFTC
You may have trouble with the coordinates due to the tree cover. I have double checked but can't seem to get them any more accurate. If you want take a reading while you are there and send it to me, feel free.
