Found it! After a DNF further down the road, we stopped here on the way home to find this cache. It was bit tricky to work out the best approach to GZ but I managed and soon had the cache in hand. The usual sort of place for a hide. Added my name to the log and hid it away. TFTC SL
With my GPS making me walk around in circles, I think I was lucky to eventually spot the hide.
Thanks to The van Abel crew for placing this cache here for us to find.

Out in the area for work. Thanks for placing the cache. Almost missed it, but cache now in hand and log signed.
Found while cycling the long way to Pakenham. Might come back and check out the trail one day.
Trotting our way into this small piece of scrub it didn't take us long to find and log this one. Thanks
I had been in the area for an event this evening, so I decided to grab some caches on the way home. Parking very close to GZ, I did my usual trick of finding the hardest way in to the cache, but soon had it in hand. After signing the log, it was a much easier walk back to the car. I just got this one in today, as it's about to click over to Christmas day.
Thanks for hiding this The van Abel crew.

Came to this area on a Sunday afternoon to get the 5 needed to reach 100 finds. This is our 97th. Bit of a scramble under the trees, but geoboy spotted in quickly. TFTC.
I pulled up and thought this spot looks familiar, on opening the log there was my stamp, looks like I forgot to log this one so I will log it today the second time I have found it.
Third ever find! Coordinates are slightly off. A bit more difficult than we were expecting but rewarding in the end. Thanks for the cache!
Damn I am behind on my logs, good old covid-19 was a great distraction from actually logging my caches. But nevertheless here I am now doing all the catch up.
Out for a nice drive out in the Pakenham/ Cockatoo area with Brainiac03 today to smash out some caches in this area. No real issues at all as we drove around collecting several caches throughout the day.
Thanks for the cache and the day out.

On a caching run with buhfuhguh today in the Pakenham/Cockatoo area to pick up a few caches we hadn't yet found.
A cautious trek through the blackberry thorns led us to gz.
There were a few spots where this one could've been hiding away, but buhfuhguh brought up the goods about 10m from where I was looking.
Signed the log and returned.

Seemed to lead us to crawl amongst blackberries and scrub - and no clue. Gave up.
Out for a drive from home. Easy to find. Thanks the van Abel crew for placing this cache
Day1976 has looked for this a couple of times over the last few years, but he didn't bring me. Within 5 minutes the cache was in hand.
How nice to turn a frown upside down.
I don't know how many times I have DNF'd this cache over the years. It was on my to do list on my second ever day caching, but I couldn't find it then. I think over the last 8 years or so I've been back a few times to try and each time with no luck. Anyway, today Ilukaperi and I were driving past and I told her about it.
Of course she had it in hand within about 2 minutes of pulling up.
Looking at the hide I have no idea how I have missed it so many times.
Anyway, its a smilie now.
TFTC!

This is a lovely spot here, I enjoyed making my way along the winding country roads. Once at GZ something strange happened with the GPS here, it seemed to keep switching, but once I moved in one direction it seemed to settle a bit and I just decided to check a likely spot anyway. What do you know, there was the cache. It is always great to find one of the older ones. With the log signed, I set off for a walk along the trail.

Quick find in a nice spot. Let the GPS settle for a minute before looking as it may point you in the wrong direction. Once settled it was spot on.
This cache took a little bit of searching to locate as the coords were pointing me to the adjacent property and I did not think it would be there. After trying to reset the Gps a couple of times I thought I would just go on feel and widen the search. With a couple of places searched I had the log in hand and was quickly signed. I will need to return on a dry day to get ten Roos as the track is very wet and sloppy tonight. Tftc
As usual I went in the wrong way and came out the easier way today. It was still an hour plus till sunset so plenty of light to find the cache. All in good condition. TFTC
This cache was a bugger to find . We searched the radius of 15 metres without any luck but once the gps settled it was found in an unusual position. We think cache creep has been involved here.
Thanks The van Abel crew for the placement.

Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. This took us a while to find, cloudy days and tree cover play havoc with the GPS. We had nearly given up when I spotted the cache. TFTC
Found this one while geocaching with SciFiRulz. My only comment when we found it was "you must be kidding me" good hide TFTC
Awesome catch! Looked down while look and realised I was almost standing on it, whoops! But well hidden
Parked here to get a nearby cache, so took a look and cache is good condition, still well hidden

Decided I would give this one a go while I was driving home from work today.
I parked the car and had to wait for a line of muggles to move on, I used this time reading previous logs and thinking I had a major search ahead of me. Turns out I spent longer waiting than searching as I found it very quickly.
I covered it up a bit better after signing.
Thanks

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I usually cache on my own but sometimes I will collect my nephew stinky bob and my brother stinky tom who both enjoy this hobby.
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Just about to give up as gps was jumping all over the place when we found it. Kids very excited to do a swap. A blue finger torch for a super hero badge. Very well hidden
Out with The Swaggies today. Way harder than expected and sadly turned the area over. Bloody black berries. The Swaggies laid his magic hands on this one. Find 1548 at 11 August 2017 11:57 am
After reading the logs we were hoping for better luck than others had as we had a few miles and a lot more caches to find today. Alas this one was about to ruin our run. Yorsys and I spent way to much time here just searching, up hill and down dale. You said this was a quiet road, well not today, there must have been a booze bus closeby as there were passing vehicles every 5 minutes. In the end we had to PAF as we were going nowhere. Armed with info it still took us a further 10 minutes before we found your cache.

Second time looking for this one. Still unable to find, despite co-ordinates matching exactly
This one took way too long to find. Must have walked past around and over the cache a number of times. The gps not working well certainly didn't help. It did keep bringing me back to one certain area however.
But glad my persistence paid off with the well hidden cache found.
Thanks for the cache The van Abel crew

Well this took way longer than it should. GPS was jumping a bit but we kept looking and once I walked over to double check where geokid had been it was in hand. signed log and left a Marvel Badge. TFTC
I was running early for work this morning so I thought I'd take a detour to find this one. Being a D1, I thought I'd make a quick find then be back on the road to work in no time. I was wrong
I had to wait for a lady chatting on her phone while she walked to the letterbox to get her mail, trying not to scare her if she saw me or look too suspicious. Once she'd gone, I had a good look around for about 20 minutes with no success. The GPS had me all over the place and even checking the logs didn't help, but by then I was rushing. I got scratched and dirty with all the blackberries and scrambling around but this one has eluded me. I'll come back with Geodaughter another day and hopefully we'll have more success. TFTC

A quick find today using the clue in previous log. Now I know why I couldn't find it using my torch on Sunday night, I must have almost stood on it several times.

The last time I was here I spent ages hunting with no luck, but today I walked straight to it. Thanks crew
Awesome treasure! No longer Geocaching virgins! 4 adults, 3 kids had an awesome adventure! Until we meet again! #currysausages
We nearly missed this one, as it was hidden beneath a parking symbol on the GPS map, but it popped up as the next closest after we finished ten roos, so a quick grab once we got back to the car. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.

Find #2366
After the fun and frolics of Victoria's first Mega a fortnight ago, it was time to start cleaning up the caches that time didn't permit us to attempt before or during the Mega. Over 200kms driven for a total of 12 finds! I first attempted this cache around 18 months ago without success. It turned out that the cache had been muggled. The CO replaced it quickly but I hadn't had a chance to return and try again until tonight. Steve and I both searched high and low. My GPS jumped around as it does when under trees and I was starting to think that this cache would elude me once again when I looked down and there it was. [^] It wasn't quite where either of us expected it to be but the co-ords are pretty and a helpful nudge given by a newbie in a previous log is accurate.
Thank-you to The van Abel crew for placing this geocache

A good afternoon of six searches in the Maryknoll area for six finds with the kids. This was the last one before heading home. Geokids were asleep on the way to this find. Easy once found. Parked next to it yet still took 15 minutes to find. Good hide. Was ready to give up but gave it one last look and eureka. Swapped in the aussie key ring for a plastic cat. Heading home for baths after a busy afternoon.

I spend 15 minuets searching around with no success, so I decided to walk along the track and grab another cache. When I got back I searched here again, I roamed around the previously trampled agapanthus and grovelled my way under trees and bushes, but no luck.
Had been here before but GPS didn't want to play. Today I got a GZ and prize was in hand. TFTH
BEWARE OF MUGGLES!! For a quiet place there sure are a lot of MUGGLES about! The gps was bouncing around like crazy but Malkito finally got it!
I didn't get the cache I was originally aiming for because of muggles at GZ but happy to pick up this one along the way and had a nice little walk too. Thanks for showing me the way to the track...very handy.
So the degree of difficulty is easy and it's no a micro... Should be easy? Not! I have flattened the battery in my car by being arrogant and leaving the radio on for what I thought would be a few minutes while I grabbed this one. Only told geohusband last week no to renew our roadside assistance as I am driving a newish car and there isn't much they can do I can't - hmmm yeah except a flat battery when I don't carry jumper leads - got 5 days left on my membership lucky! Currently waiting for them with two children - so I figured I would read all the logs relating to this cache - tried the alternative coordinates looked at the places that other peoples clues suggested no luck - Really frustrated spent an hour on this one I thought my cacher knowledge was good enough to find a cache even with bad co ords bonus I found a little terrestrial orchid in flower a Greenhood I don't know the bi nominal name off the top of my head hugbug4 and Everest coin also along for the visit - come on Racv!
