We have been looking for ten minutes and and cant find anything but we did find a tree with a pink ribbon around it not sure if that means anything though
We stopped by this cache recently just toward dusk but the poor lighting and the abundance of passing muggles made it just too difficult to locate. However today when we returned, this was a quick easy find. Thanks for find #5089TNLN
On our way to Yeppoon for 12 days with lance51 DutchAus deafcat silence41 Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache Bushies2.
Found it with crank1 lance51 deafsanta deafcat and ausdutch while on the travels TFTC ??
Jack quickly located this one after we'd been out for Chinese in town.---Over a week ago we made a trip up to Yeppoon to visit family and some of the big things dotted around the state. On the way we stopped off at Noosa Heads (big pelican) and Maryborough before staying in Hervey Bay (big whales) for a couple of days to break up the journey. Whilst in Hervey Bay we went out on a glass bottomed boat and explored Big Woody Island and Round Island. Onwards again and we visited Childers, Gin Gin and got stuck in a crazy tailback a few kilometers from Miriam Vale (big crab, big donut and big Magpie). It would have been rude not to pick up a cache or two on our journey North. We visited Great Keppel and did some snorkeling (and Jack spotted a large sting ray), Emu Park to view the Singing Ship, Rockhampton (big bulls) to visit the zoo (which I wasn't too keen on) and just about every restaurant and coffee shop in Yeppoon. It's a lovely part of the world. On the way back home (boo) we visited the caves at Cania Gorge and stayed overnight at the retreat and then on to the Three Moons Silo Mural, Gayndah (big orange) and then onto the Bruce and straight back home.Thanks!!#3545
Gotcha!! On the way back from a best session at Brendan's. Quick little find and great homage to temingi. Tftc
A planned trip north with a mate and his family, sees us checking out some of our great countryside. We got in some camping and in some not so usual spots. It has been fun and the best part is I get to cache in places I do not usually get to visit.
Today it was free time looking around Rocky. Then I get a call you still in Rocky. It was Triple turmoil saying she was heading to Yeppoon. We meet up around late lunch time and got in some caching around Rocky and then into Yeppoon. Some dinner and then it was me back to my camp site. Another fun filled and extreme day of caching.
Took a little looking but we found it in the end, nice.
Thanks for the cache and the hide, I signed the log and returned the cache as found. The hints on the caches are very helpful.

After a drive up from Hervey Bay, I met up with Chamad and we spent the afternoon putting a small dent in the caches in this area.
We seemed to have different gz's
I was the one able to claim the "gotcha".

Tyfc, few cobwebs and solder spiders, was buried deep under foliage.. not so much now. Log all good.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 122. Yeppoon to Raglan via Rockhampton. I spent the morning around Yeppoon visiting a few more caches before beginning my journey South. It all took a bit longer than expected and I managed to find a few more caches than expected as well, so I pulled up early at a pub along the highway at Raglan. I'll get to Gladstone tomorrow and have a few more caches to do in the morning.
I was a bit worried this would be a gotcha of the kind that was impossible to find, but as it turns out to be a celebration of a local cacher, I was happy when I spied the container not far from where I started looking.
Thanks for the cache Bushies2

With inclement weather today, we were just targeting a few that fit into a challenge I need to complete at home and this was one of them.
A lovely quiet little area and a nice quick find.
Thanks Bushies2

Buttons and I had wandered to Yeppoon for some fish and chips and decided to look around for a quickie.
Ended up doing the one behind the golf course first and decided to do this one also.
Our massage lady used to live just around the corner and I would never have guessed at something being hidden here even tho we went past it fortnightly
Funny how life is.

Well this one had us worried. VERY worried. Termingi and Bushies2 had put out a D3 between them. And we know Temingi is very conservative with his ratings, so this could be a challenge. But we were so glad to be able to say:-
GOTCHA!!
Without too much trouble. Maybe just luck on our part.
Day 2 in Yeppoon and out to do some more caching mixed with sightseeing. We headed south first down to Emu Point and then worked our way back to Yeppoon. A Virtual, multi, puzzles and a few traditionals. Magnificent scenery at every turn on a beautiful sunny day.
Thanks so much to Temingi for his solo efforts in a beautiful part of the country.

10/4/21 Weekend Geocaching around Rocky and Yeppoon. Found it. TFTC SL GPS had us near but not at GZ. Looked at some previous logs and soon found cache.
No find Molly and I are safe too say their is too much rubbish here Hopefully next time we will find it
Grey nomads travelling around Australia in our caravan. Held up a bit due to Covid19 and major knee surgery, so currently in Queensland only, but there are plenty of caches in our home state that we have not yet found.
Currently, we are farm sitting near Rockhampton for three months, so hoping to clear out Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gracemere, Gladstone and Mt Morgan!!!
Today, back in Yeppoon, chasing up a few more smilies.
Last one for the day, our horses are calling us for some hay.
"Gotcha"
Only cost us one Rivers shirt (torn), a few bandaids (scratches) and a bottle of insect repellent (bloody temingi ants)
.
Thanks Bushies2 for the hide and Temingi for the maintenande when needed.

Geocaching wifey, the lovely Nellie found it. Nice little hide but really in an obvious place. Co-ords are nearly spot on.
Hmmmm... searched for this one for a little while but came out empty handed might try again another day with fresh eyes...
Found by Mary and David at 13:40. Having cached with Temingi and pprass up and down the Yorke Peninsula, we are very familiar with "Gotcha". We caught up again for QOGM 2019 at Blackall. Another cacher married to a nurse, so you have to love that attribute too. Took Mary to find this one after David overlooked it. Our thanks to Bushies2 and Temingi.
Too many hiding spots for me. Shame as I'm targeting D3 chaches for challenge back home.
Caching in and around the area, we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
"Gotcha", cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Hi there Bushies2.
We found your cache **"GOTCHA!!!"** at 8:11:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 20436).
We started the day off by nominating a cache in Yeppoon and then took a random route that was sometimes determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route. Today we found 2 caches & DNF'd 2. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache about 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Coming from out of town it was a bit tricky finding a park but settled on a side street. It should have given GPSr more time to settle but it persisted shifting us around. Finally saw a likely hide at 16:35. Not as difficult as expected from the rating. Thanks Bushies2
Had to come back a second time but I finally found this one's little resting spot. Very clever Tftc
My last one cache in Yeppoon. This is a good place, and too many amaizing caches!

Yep GOTCHA!!! found whilst out with PPrass and Temingi.
Thanks for this one.
Thanks for this one.
TFTC wouldn't call this one one extra small and I wouldn't give it a difficult rating of 3 either. But nice hide. Thanks
A geocaching roadtrip is an amazing thing. It takes lots of preparing, planning and pre puzzling to ensure time on the road is maximised. I have to say I exhibited none of these attributes as we readied ourselved for this roadtrip. I was fortunately joined by the energizer bunny (seffnjarah) and the Square Jawed Mountain Man (Crookedpete) who both like to prove how capable they are as the alpha males of the Bromance. While there is often much chest beating and tantrums, we manage to remain positive and end up with a good plan of attack.
We set off on Friday lunch time (so CP had time to make himself pretty) and returned late Sunday nigh, traveling some 2000klms, approx 70 caches of varying D/T Ratings, in just on 54 hours. Sadly there were a few DNF's (which some of the team took harder than others), but we saw many different cache styes, and some amazing places. Thanks to all the CO's who placed these caches for us to find.
Thank for the cache and puzzle!

It has been far too long since Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus and I did stupid things on a roadtrip a long way from home. So, a caching road trip from Brisbane to Rocky & Yeppoon and a few ports (and mountains) in between was planned. The well planned though overly optimistic caching itinerary included miscellaneous mind bending puzzles, half a dozen or so of Queensland's Oldest caches a few wee hill climbs, a healthy selection of unloved caches and any other interesting caches in between.
For the life of me, a week later I can't remember the finer details of finding this cache. Found at the end of our second day on the road, all the caches are a blur. Many thanks, Bushies2.

It's been 2 years since the Bromance undertook a geocaching road trip, the last being down to Gloucester NSW back in March 2015. With the blessings of our respective spouses received (mine seemed rather keen to get rid of me for the weekend) we headed off from Brisbane Friday lunchtime for a whirlwind trip to Yeppoon and back with a lengthy target list of caches. After finally finishing our first day of caching and setting up camp at 1.30am this morning, a 5.30am wake up call had us packed up and on the road again and had reached the Yeppoon area by mid evening. With a few successful finds in the area so far confidence was up but this took us far longer than necessary to find. After what seemed an eternity the cache was eventually located and the log signed. Parked close by and after a very short walk could say GOTCHA!!!. All good with this one and the location is just far enough away from any walking muggles. TFTC Bushies2
Found while having a couple of days visiting cousin Temingi being driven around made it a pleasant experience caching. And I "GOTCHA"
Thanks Temingi.
Thanks Temingi.
Having spend the past six days in temingi's company, I have heard of his many geocaching adventures, and his encounter with Bushies22 team. So a quick visit to this cache was certainly on the cards.
It was a nice quick find - the cache is in good order.
Found at 12.20pm on 25th May 2016. TFTC.
