There is a lot of work near GZ. The seats and garden areas are fenced off. Did not even bother to try and hunt for this one.
Had a stab at rhis one without resulr. Might be a idea for mosell10 to check on his/her cache as there are too many dnfs. Also area behind gz is about to become work zone with relocation of war memorial.
After reading The "Found" logs thought we had this one sussed. But No! after an hour we finally gave up.
Tried twice with Geo wife and Geo inlaws with no luck. New to Geocaching, so I'm looking forward to increasing the skills and coming back to find this baby. TFTH!
Second look today and still no luck!! Will be happy when I finally find this one... next time I visit family in Caboolture.
First of a very bad run today, had newbie friends with us so it was all a bit disappointing. Tried to find this one on our morning walk but despite a lot of hunting we missed it. Might try again another time..
This particular cache has been our nemesis cache since it was first placed. Every time we visited family in Caboolture we would spend some time attempting to locate it. Well, today we spent some time and actually found it. Many thanks for this well placed hide. It certainly kept us amused and very frustrated.
We had looked for this cache not long after it was published but the area was too busy and public for us to search properly, plus we had no idea what we were looking for.
Today, we wanted a place to swap drivers (and hopefully find a cache as well), and decided Caboolture would be an ideal spot. With the help of past logs, didn't take StreetWalker long to track down the cache even though there was a woman sitting close by, eating her lunch.

#4450. Always good to find a past DNF. Tricky to search with a muggle just metres away, but I spotted something interesting and soon had a cache in hand. TFTC.
It was Thursday again, Yay!! My caching day The lovely Lady membsec and myself had planned on heading to the darkside to try rounding up a few caches. But instead.... We had been lured north with the hopes of a FTF. Unfortunately the FTF was already taken. So seeing as we were up this way we continued finding the caches in the area. There was one here and there that we both needed to find.
Hmmm, well I was expecting this one to be a lot harder than it was. After taking a moment to sit and ponder the ways of the caching world I soon spotted the cache. I was so excited in my find that upon heading back to the car I completely forgot my iPhone ARGH!!! Luckily, as soon as I realised it was missing I put my running feet on and managed to wrestle the phone from an unsavoury character.

Out and about again today with the lovely Nyssaflutterby trying to increase Nyssa's number of caches before the end of the year and we need a few more too. We had planned for an area much further south of here but when we saw a nearby cache that had no ftfs yet we thought it was strange and we just had to go and investigate it. We soon found out that there had been a ftf on it already but unfortunately it hadn't been logged. Oh well, our gut feeling had been right, it had been found. Ok, what to do now? We both had a number of caches in this area that we hadn't found so we decided to continue our fun filled unexpected day of adventure on the north side rather than going over to the south side.
We, membsec had been here twice before without any luck and this time we put a time limit on looking for it, and we even packed our lunch. Not too sure why, because Nyssa soon saw it. Our fifth for the day, oops, because we missed one, but that is another story. Took Nyssaflutterby a while to wake up today but once she got her thinking cap on she is hard to beat with finds. Great cache once you find it!! Nyssa likes to take a seat and just look, good that she did. After signing our names we went back to the monster truck only to find out that Nyssa didn't have her phone.....oh no, I have never seen Nyssa run so fast.....someone had just picked it up and she saw them, so she was able to retrieve it......oh what a day we are having!!!

I had looked for this one a few times. Then working in Caboolture today I had to do the banking. Muggle on seat, iPhone not precise. Back to office and there's more banking. So off we go again, this time no muggle and I'd read yorki's clue and If's log so gave it another go. Yippee! Got the little blighter. Only when I got back to work did I realise I'd only just made the bank in time. Eeeks! Watch out for worktime caching.
Still nice and early, so the muggle count was low
The pushbike stood guard and provided a distraction as I poked a few things.
A quick read of the notes revealed a Bison Hunt was in order
OK!! So that ruled out a few spots, but still left a plethora of others [:o]
I sat down with a fizzy 'thinking cola'.... I got less than a third of the way through when something caught me eye
Gotcha [^]
I left with a smilie and still wondering what the council rates are on this cache location.
Probably quite high as any geocache pushes the 'improved land values' up [:o)]

A successful find on our 2nd attempt. Careful reading of the logs and knowing now what a bison tube looked like, assisted the find.

Our second attempt to find this one, we spent half an hour looking for it last year when we did not know what a bison tube was. Yorki sat on the seat and said these bison tubes are usually X#@%^* and low and behold she looked down and there it was. We then retired to the shop across the way for lunch.TFTC
This one gave us quite some grief. Spent quite a while searching every where. Sat down for a while and checked out the previous logs. New it must be here somewhere. A bit more of a look and we soon had the little blighter.

Found with stairman1. This one caused us grief. Lots of muggles going for a Sunday afternoon walk. After a long search we sat down to read the previous logs. We searched an area we hadn't searched and we uncovered it. TFTC

Brownsnakemob had found this one previously after a couple of long attempts.
He bought me to this one, I read and re-read details about it and found it quite easily. It is very similar to my hide.
Thanks for the cache.

Could not find -two of spent a bit of time between muggles, but we still felt very conspicuous, Maybe next time.
I wasn't able to find this cache after looking in a few places. TFTH mosell10

This is a nice hide. It took a bit with a friend today, but we finally came up with the goods.
We did both have to sit down and think about this before we came up with the final location between the both of us.

First time looking for caches looked for 6 around Caboolture and found none. Damn i have bad luck.
=) Out for a cache or 2 tonight with Brightskies and this cache has seen a DNF from me previously , not sure how I missed it last time.... nice quick find tonight , major cache blindness before. TFTC =)
Out with Ayepeacee tonight and he says 'lets go get a cache in your favourite area'. It was dark and we avoided the creatures of the night as we searched. It didnt take long for Ayepeacee to find the cache. TFTC mosell10, tricky hide ^^
Tricky one , but remembered one of the first we found with Geogirlfriend and looked in a similar place
No luck. Recent landscaping work in area. May have been buried. Or muggled.
what a tough little find, but with help from wooltruk, sat down for a breather then resumed and found!
Quick find once I paf'd so I knew where to look I attempted this one whilst there was a LOT of foot traffic. Thanks for the cache. Log is dry and well.
Took some time, but found and logged when passers by left. TFTC

Found after visiting the markets this morning. Thankfully all was quiet at GZ and Pagan spotted the cache after a short hunt. We found Fangsoki's coordinates to be spot on. Thanks mosell10
Found finally, not without a bit of help!
TFTC So glad to finally cross this one off the list!
TFTC So glad to finally cross this one off the list!
An inexperienced boy look from a first timer, try to come back when there's not so much traffic
Found[Time to Find: 7 min] I looked there ten times... didn't I. very well disguised.
Finally! I had assumed the correct type of hide and the correct location, but I was obviously having a "man" look. After a nudge or two from the owner, I had another look and what do you know... what is THAT? Certainly was buried deep. Thanks mosell10 for the hints and for a great urban hide. Jeep came for a visit
well well well. Like a lot of ahem 'experienced' brisbane cachers I look for the fangsoki log and start from there. For once though, that put me somewhere unhelpful. Back to posted coordinates, and after taking a seat to read the details again ... umm, it's right there dunkoff! OK, it was Sunday and I could've let a bomb off and not been noticed, but apart from possible future strangling of some poor plant this was a pretty good city CBD hide. Nice mosell10.
Another Bison tube that eluded us. Far to much attention attracted by ratting around in the main street of Caboolture, so we reluctantly gave it away and repaired over the road for some sustenance.
Was not sure what a Bison tube was and with all the people around we called it a DNF and retired to Subway for lunch. Will have another look now we know what a bison tube looks like after locating the one at the Bus stop later in the day.
D'oh! Mostly muggle free on a hot sunday afternoon, but still no joy. And there can't be too many places that it is. I sat down to think but still nothing...
Not the best place to be searching alone for a bison tube.
It could be anywhere. I will have to come back with a tribe to do a complete search.

Finally! I can cross this one off. I had to work early in Caboolture - so i decided to look in on this one before starting the day.
I paced around for a few minutes before it caught my eye. Hmm I thought I had looked there But apparently not. The cache is in good condition. I have posted up co-ords that seemed to work for me. Very happy to have gotten this one. TFTC mosell10

=( okay im having a horrible night caching with 2 DNFs out of 3 caches, spent 45 mins here with my torch searching in between walking muggles and traffic, the people over at Subway must have been wondering what i was doing for sure, i had the ''Im looking for my keys that i dropped today'' story ready for anyone who asked me questions, this one certainly beat me ... =(
No joy for us. No-one around except for the people across the way at sub-way.
We'll be back although not sure where we are going to look.
We'll be back although not sure where we are going to look.
On a visit to Caboolture, I stopped in to again look at this cache. Most times it was muggle kingdom, but today there was periods where I was free to browse.TNLN TFTC Thanks mosell10
Today is my first day as a geocacher. Couldn't find this one - don't really know what I am looking for. I will give it another go ...
Having worked all day in the nearby shopping centre doing a job for a customer, I finally emerged and decided to grab this cache.
It was quite dark and there were a few people milling about. As soon as I turned up at GZ, four buses pulled up at GZ *sigh*. I'll wait shall I? Once the coast was clear, I made the swoop and found the cache safe and sound in its home. It is in good condition. TFTC mossell10 - not as "muggle-prone" as it could have been

Found this one while out and about with GhostGums as we attended the Caboolture CITO event.

Sneaky! While performing a little CITO walk, we happened past this one. We'd just decided to start looking for it when GhostGums and Mr Meccano strolled up. Hmm, bison tube, eh? Needle. Haystack.
Well, maybe not. Thinking about it logically, if it is indeed accessible from the path, then there are only a very few places it could be... and sure enough, I soon spotted a telltale sign. A very tricky little hide, well done and TFTC. [^]

Found while tidying up downtown Caboolture today EngPhil made the grab, and we all get the credit. Noice! TFTC!
Gaz'n'kab and myself arrived at GZ to find KarenHippo already on the hunt. With so many DNF's preceding our visit things didn't look good. All four sets of eyes searched high and low, and just as I was about to call it a DNF, Karen spotted the sucker where some had already looked. Well hidden indeed. TFTC. And might I add, within 1m of posted co-ords for me.
13/08/11 Find #616
As we were wandering around CITOing (with EngPhil, NyletaM and Palopinto) we noticed that we were about 80 metres from this one. After a little bit of searching we ran into Ghostgums and co. After a bit more of a search it was Engphil who came up with the good on this little cache.
Thanks for the Cache. Nice Hide.

Yes this was in fact a very sneaky well hidden hide. As I hunted I was joined by Captain Terror and Gaz n Kab, then when standing back I spotted a telltale sign the cache was in fact right there. Thanks for the cache
As Palopinto and I minded the geokids Alkzura and EngPhil did the hunting and before too long the little target was in hand. As noted by the owner, no garden trampling was required, our feet were firmly on the path. TFTC
No idea. Lots of potential hiding places in the daggy gardens. In fact if a bison tube was just thrown in there it may not be found for years.
Think the owner should state if the cache is accessible from the path as the garden is looking rather trampled around GZ. We had as good a look as possible in the circumstances but there was a young woman collecting signatures close by which made things difficult.
I think jasenjanine have the right idea about the time to tackle this one. I tried doing it at 8.30pm and spent more time watching my back more than looking for a cache. Inspected a few items to no avail - time to bail. TFTH.
Yay ... *FTF* @ 06.05 [^]
After my over-extended visit to that last cache, I hadn't given myself much hope of finding this one if it was anything like the last one .... I was already running late.[:o]
Luckily I'd assumed the same style of hide, and although it could have been absolutely anywhere, I think the geo-gods were smiling down on me as the cache was in hand in hand in a matter of minutes.[D]
Perfect time of day to tackle this one ... Saturday morning @ 6
Thanks Mosell10 ... another good hide.
