We love cemetary multis and this was a lovely peaceful place to rest. After solving the coords though, didn't have any luck finding the cache, even widening the search and redoing the calculations. Tftc
A solved puzzle from long ago, awaiting an expedition from the north west. But alas ! nothing to be found here. Extensive searches of all the trees within varying gps reception range, but no go. looks to us like these trees have been "adjusted" so the mower can get under them. Anyway OldSaint, a nice view point, and a place we would never have visited otherwise. Cheers.
Taking some time off to explore more of the apple isle with RoamingHowie. Day Three: Dunalley, Coal Mines, Port Arthur and various caches & AdLabs along the way.
It was starting to get quite dark when we arrived, so it was a quick solve and grab.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, OldSaint

It was time for a return trip to Tassie to explore the southern part of the state. I paired up with OzHockeyChick for a 5 day caching blitz with some sightseeing in between. Today was Day 3 and it was time to head east towards Port Arthur.
We worked quickly to try and get this one as it was dark already.
Thanks OldSaint for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

What a view the eternal internees have here. We rested at the seat with that amazing view and sorted our numbers.
this cemetery confirms what I have often said is that in the past cemeteries have often been situated in very scenic places. I had a wander around after locating the cache.
On a road trip from Hobart to Stanley with my mum over 2 weeks. We visited a number of towns and we were mainly targeting Virtuals and Earthcaches due to the amazing locations they take one to. We did pick up the random traditional, multi, puzzle, wherigo and even a couple letterbox caches whilst travelling.
Today is the first day of the actual road trip as prior days were spending time with family. After checking into our accommodation for the evening, we had some daylight left, so decided we would go for a drive around the Port Arthur penninsular area. Worked our way around collecting caches until we lost sunlight. No issues solving this one thanks to a clear listing.
Thanks for placing and mainting this geocache OldSaint

A nice drive to Heaven it seemed as i continued to ascend to this small graveyard.
Did the usual number crunch and made my way to the final.

{Upon a bit of study on Margaret Scott, i can see why she loved Tassie so much, There's no boring-bits down here [^]}

What a beautiful and serene cemetery. We actually enjoy visiting cemeteries and this one is especially nice with amazing views as well. Worked out the answers and found the cache quite quickly TFTC
gridge98 decided he wanted to go for an overnight trip to hobart and collect a few caches and also head down to port arthur to collect the old virtual. I was keen for a drive to get some hours up for my Ls and to find a few caches along the way. A great trip away and some cool sights seen.
Apologies for the generic log.

Today JLROCKSTAR and I set off early from Hobart to the Tasman peninsula to find some caches for the day before having to return back to Launceston for some commitments. Overall 28 finds for the day.

Suscoe was wandering the roads of the Tasman Peninsular today.
It was a lovely day with some drizzly rain in the morning, some sunshine as well and a solid South Easterly wind.
The roads were quiet down here today which made the wandering quite pleasant.
We did a lap and a bit which showed us the range of the countryside from farm lands to bushland and everything inbetween, we were also amazed at the number of homes located around the delightful bays.
Thanks to OldSaint for this hide.
Took in the info and got a cache.

I made a complete pigs ear of this one and had to redo my workings as I was doing so the goose found the cache anyway!
Thanks for the cache.
First proper day caching since I got back from the Mega on the big island, great to be back out caching on common ground.
Today it was down to the Tasman peninsula to find some new caches and some old ones I had missed in my past visits, but as just about always I leave something for the next time

Called in here today to visit my great grandparents who have resided here for some time now. Didn't bother solving the puzzle, just used the caching sixth sense (where would I hide a cache here?). TNLN. TFTC.
Will spend a cupple of days on the beautiful island of Tasmania. Found Margaret on a beautiful day after visiting Port Arthur.
Vielen Dank fürs legen und pflegen und beste Grüße aus Leipzig!

It was nice to pay respect to Margaret while here! I attended the posted coordinates and found the required info, did the sums and then walked to the final (resting place?). A quick find, it was in plain view.
Thanks OldSaint for the views and the cache here.
I had to drop off geoSonE at White Beach for a scout camp last night and with a pickup tomorrow, I decided to stay nearby for the weekend to do some caching.
This morning I am targeting Taranna to SaltWater River (Coal Mines).

Thanks for the multicache OldSaint. RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I had a nice stay at the Tasman Peninsula for a few nights and some geocaching was in order. This one was not too far from our accommodation. A great idea for a multi and a top spot - thanks for bringing us here.
out and about with the Rafas caching, heading down to the peninsula for a visit to the coal mines I have never seen them before so another first! a very scenic bay and a nice hide for the cache. TFTC TNLN log dry. a nice memorial for the author.
S_38 did all the work, while I got captured by the other graves. Amazing spot. TFTC OldSaint.
Found with Lekker_Ding on our way back home from camping. Beautiful views from here. Thanks OldSaint
On our way to the Coal Mine Historic Site and quick detour here for a nice cache. Thanks
Spending a few days camping at Lime Bay and exploring the area. Grabbing a few caches while looking around. I cheated and solved the coordinates using google last night, so we made a quick stop at the GZ on the way past and found the cache no problems. The groundskeeper was mowing the lawns, but didn’t seem too fussed with what I was up to.

Two Norwegian travellers on vacation/geocaching in Australia. Travelling by car from Brisbane to Adelaide with stops in interesting and not so interesting places. We have been travelling almost 5000 kilometers before we returned the car in Adelaide two weeks ago. Then we flew over to Hobart, hired a new car and will do a Tassie roundtrip the next 2 weeks. We have done the big highlights, Cradle mountain Nat. Park, the northern coast and the big cities. After Bruny Island we went to the Tasman Peninsula to visit Port Arthur and the convicts.
Today we took a trip out to the Coal Mines. Nice sunny weather.
Found the numbers and the cache. Not so many visitors at this beautiful spot.

It was our first ever multi cache, it took a bit to find but when we worked out what to do we found it easy.
Was quite happy to wander here a while but other geocaches were calling. TFTC.
We stopped here to have some lunch whilst we waited for the rain to disappear. Nice location but the "locals" I the paddock nearby kept a close eye on us! TFTC
Having the two furry assistants with us today attracted some attention from one of the neighbors who kept a close eye over the car while we were looking for this cache.
All went well until final coordinates pointed us in a direction that we hoped wasn't where the cache was, thankfully it wasn't and we logged it alright.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
Last day today at Taranna so we set off to find a few more caches and visit the Coal Mines.
Collected the info and found ourselves at a likely spot but didnt find the cache. Mr Felix widened the search and yelled yep found it. We think we had our numbers right so we took a wpt and a photo and will contact Old Saint.

Visited the cache about 1600hrs today and the final location had been cleaned up and the original cache has been 'cleaned up' in the process.
Have replaced the cache with a tube not far from the original hiding place, the clues being adjusted accordingly
Hope all enjoy the views here, they are fantastic
Cheers OldSaint.

OldSaint this is where the wheels fell off the cart.
I found the dates needed and back at the car I did the calculations and found I was at GZ, so I did them again all ok.
After a good search with no luck I checked every thing again and had another search.
I then updated the GPS and found it hadn't been found for a while.
I'm guessing it was on the fence that is no longer there.
Thanks any way.

We double checked our maths & searched a large radius but no luck.
nice views at this loverly cemetery. quick find as cache was in a very obvious position, lucky it wasn't muggled. I moved it slighty lower to make less obvious and may need some maintenance soon as becoming less magnetic!
This took us way longer than expected. Its not magnetic but it is near a bin.
Today we continued our road trip through Tasmania with Silli1310 and Elmapa. After visiting the old Coal Mines in the morning, we went to Cresent Bay in the afternoon. On the way there, we passed this short multi at a very beautiful old cemetery. We again took the opportunity to stretch our feet a bit and find this cache along the way. Many thanks for the cache.
On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to Australia as well. We started in Tasmania, rented a campervan in Melbourne and went up the Eastcoast to Cairns. Then we drove all the way to the Red Centre. We finished in Darwin. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.
TFTC.
It was nice to remember the wonderful Margaret Scott in this beautiful area.
Thanks for bringing us here Old Saint.
Thanks for bringing us here Old Saint.
I had met Margaret Scott when I worked at Flight Centre, so that would be back in the mid nineties. A muggle farmer was on his ride on zipping backwards and forwards. We thought, hmmm better wait until he is heading away on his next row. We thought of where GZ might me when suddenly the cache popped into my view. I was able to extract it without breaking my stride. Quickly signed and returned on the farmers next row! TFTC
This turned into one of the more interesting caches, because we got chatting with the "neighbour" who's going to build a house on the block below the gate into the cemetery. But first we went and found the information and worked out GZ (a re-check gave relief that it wasn't in the water). In fact I'd had a cursory look where the cache was before....just not well enough! Another goodun', thanks Old Saint.
We started by gathering the co-ords, which at first were telling us to look in the water. A second try revealed one digit was wrong. Then off to the final we went where we met a man who was building a house on the block of land below. We talked the man for awhile and he understood what we were doing. Dippy made the quick find and if a man approaches you while looking for this cache he knows what your doing. TFTC.
I'll put my hands up here - I sorted GZ before arrival. A certain multi in a graveyard over on the big island that took us HOURS jiggled a nerve to be prepared on these ones. The hint certainly helped too. What is it with these cemetaries (same down the road at Why Here)? The departed get to enjoy million dollar views.
Another nice piece of final resting ground - but not quite as appealing as the previous one that we visited. We were not the only ones there, but the other visitors decided to leave once we arrived . Did the required calculations without coming up Witt the goods, so retired to the car to check. No change so went back and looked and there it was. TFTC
After seeing so much related to our early history seeing these dates was a bit of a shock to the system. Great views from the given coordinates.
Finding the cache proved slightly difficult considering that the cache was a short distance from where the clue was suggesting. Eventually a retrieval was organised and the cache was replaced where the clue suggests.
Thanks for bringing me here OldSaint.

Pretty overgrown in the area of the coordinates plus some doubt as to their accuracy in other logs resulted in our first DNFI
A far from easy find for us but eventually found! Scottymyth and I had the final coords before membsec but then we were looking a few m's away based on our coords. Glad to find in the end!! TFTC.
Found with Ainstar and membsec. Beautiful location! Coords slightly out and the hint it's not magneting to anything. TFTC!
This wasn't an easy find as we found the cords were out by about 8m but eventually got it. Nice lovely day while holidaying with geodaughter and partner.

I had a good look and worked out the co-ords 3 times, but the co-ords i worked out didn't seem to take me to the right spot.
after 1/2hr looking time had beaten me and I had to move. I hate missing out on one like this. Love the location.
Thanks for bringing me here.

We missed the road on our first trip past, but being in no rush to get "To Heaven" we did a couple of caches down the road before returning to nab this one.
The calculations were nice and straightforward and that enabled us to enjoy the views in the fading light.
Thanks for the cache, OldSaint !

This was the last find for the day on our visit to the Tasman Peninsula. The sun was setting and made for beautiful views in all directions as we collected the information and logged our find. Thank you for bringing us up here (even if it took a couple of goes to find the correct way!)
What a character! As well as an academic, Margaret Scott personality on television was captivating. A real down to earth person. It was great to come to her resting place in this beautiful location. A quick multi culminating in a quick find. TFTC OldSaint
Had noticed that a few new caches had appeared in the area while we were on the mainland, so got a chance to have a look for one of them when out doing the new convict trail series. Have seen the sign to the cemetery many times, but haven't ever gone in before. A lovely spot on the hill overlooking the bay, and it was a glorious day to be out caching.
The cache is being guarded by a diligent snail, so left him there to keep up the good work.
Thanks OldSaint.

I had seen the signpost to the cemetery on my way out to Saltwater River, and had promised myself to pop up and have a look on my way back, a vow made stronger when I saw the site from afar on the return journey. As I expected the views from the cemetery were fantastic, and it was such a great spot that I thought I should check my iPhone to see if there was a cache in the vicintity ... and, lo and behold, there was. I haven't really cached by phone, but I found WP1 easily enough (lovely idea), calculated GZ and figured out how to adjust the coordinates in the phone, and then I was a bit concerned about accuracy as I approached what I hoped would be GZ. It took me a moment or two, but a smiley was soon mine. Thanks, OldSaint - I'm glad I found the spot ... and that there was a cache there!
Another unique spot - we sat in comfort while we collected the info we needed and finding the cache was no problem - enjoyed the view. Thanks OldSaint
Turns out I have a relative in this cemetary...which is really unusual for my family NOT. Most of my family comes from down this way so was no great surprise to find one here. I have decided that I want this to be my final stop. Nowhere better on earth than on top of this little hill looking over the bay in one of the best parts of the state. thanks for the cache and the series
First find on the peninsula today - had tried to find Koonya fire tower but after reading the logs and looking at the distance, I decided that it can wait for a more cooler day.
Found the info quickly but must have had a boy look because Tim Tam found the cache after I passed straight by it....
Thanks OldSaint for showing us this area. Tim Tam wants to move here later
