A fellow geocacher - geo-hack- noticed my bright orange Garmin and asked if I was caching.
He didn't leave me hanging.
After a thorough search he assured me the cache was gone.

It's a nicer day today - less clouds, no showers, and a bit warmer. More caching is therefore in order.
The GeoSchnauzers are coming as well.
No 18 of 21.Top hide!! Good one, thanks for this one.

We moved into the EPIC camping grounds today. Now its time to go caching.
A very nice hide, worth a favourite point.
Thanks for placing this cache zita&enzo

This was my 3rd attempt to find this cache. In the meantime i have gained more experience with caches hidden in similar surroundings. It was just a matter of eliminating one location after another until it was in my hand. Thanks zits&enzo
It doesn't always pay to read past logs-sometimes they can just put you off-not deliberately, but somehow can affect the subconscious. This cache hide was one such for us. Having read a previous recent log or two, we were pretty sure we knew where to look-but no, definitely wrong. A re-assessment and a few caching instincts were called upon and then the log was soon signed and back into the car to head off to another. A great spot and lovely play park.

Cute 'Ammo Box'. While searching under the viewing platform a 4 year old saw me and asked 'How did you get get there?' Well I had to say this is too difficult a place for little boys to play! Fortunately he didn't push it.
It was raining today, so it was a good day to return and search for this as it would likely be muggle free. It was when we arrived. Then part way through our search two children and their mother arrived. The boy came to ask how we got the other side of the fence and the mother gave us dirty looks. Playground caches, you're got to love them...NOT! I turned to my geobuddy and said, "That's it, we have to leave now." But just then he found the cache. We signed the log and fled. I'm pleased this has now been found and I don't have to return. TFTC.
Finally found this one after a few attempts, but lucky we live close by so we could keep trying. A most satisfying discovery now that it's been located!
Returned for another attempt, but was unable to search due to child muggles and their parents. Playgrounds...aaarhh!! [:(!]
Children's playground...aarrhh! Our ability to search was limited due to children and their mothers. One mother even came to ask what we were looking for. We will have to return another time to search more, even though caches in children's playgrounds are among our least favourite.
Geocache #698.
Found on Tuesday, 10th September 2013 at 2:37 PM.
Conditions: sunny with strong winds.
Current streak #41 days.
Today's finds 29 of 35.
My 597th find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. With just over a week of the competition remaining, I had some leave owing and decided to take it for a geo-adventure in the Australian Capital Territory and Canberra. What a way to celebrate Canberra's centenary, as well as the Federal election!
On day three of my trip, and after completing the Planets power trail early this morning, I continued the search for more caches in the mid-morning and afternoon. Once at GZ, it was a quick find and I soon had the CIH and signed the log. TFTC zits&enzo.

What a great little cache container, not seen one of theses before though had come across the type of hide before ... and so good to find during an outbreak of sun on such a wintry and damp day
This is such a clever hiding place, and made for a fun and quick find on the drive home from the markets
Found on a night time hunt. Cache was not found immediately but eventually after bit of change of attack the cache was soon in hand. A great container, first time I have seen one of these.
Thanks Z&E for the cache and the hunt.
Thanks Z&E for the cache and the hunt.
really cute cache and well hidden too. On my way home and decided to try a couple in Franklin. tftc zita&enzo
Out at Mitchell working late and dropped in on this cache. Thanks for the hide Zita&Enzo. Cheers
Awesome little cache. Geo-gf very first cache and she absolutely loved it! We have a new addict. Super hiding spot
Found this one on an afternoon/evening cache run. Parked nearby and strolled to GZ on this lovely evening. Arrived at GZ then made the find in seconds . This was a real joy to find-not only the hide but the cutest container! Fave point from me. Thanks zita&enzo
# 5685 Found on our VIC and NSW east coast adventure
on our last leg now before heading west.
Nice and quiet and no little muggles around while I was here, plenty of ducks though.
A quick stop and find and then on to the next one.
Thanks for the cache zita&enzo,
Roostaman.

This gets a favourite from me! Not just because it's a clever hide but the cutest container! TFTC!
#228 - 20:20; Despite the failing light and threatening clouds, there was a higher level of muggle activity than I had anticipated. One group left while I inspected the pier and the wetlands and after discretely making the grab, the remaining three muggleteens descended on the nearby playground equipment, which enable the cache to be replaced unobserved. Nifty container and a tricky hide. TFTC
Nice easy find. The birds clearly weren't expecting visitors - those in the grass near the path move quickly.
Lol I always choose the best times to go caching. It's pouring down with rain and I'm looking for caches. Silly rapidlywild. Love this one it's so tricky and the container is cool. Thanks for the find
I had this "very tricky" cache in 2 seconds:) I like container, giving Favorite point.
Thank you

Nice location and quick find grabbed with muggle family feeding ducks only 5mts away. Nice and steady TFTC
We couldn't find this one, we looked under and around benches, around the picnic table, even around the rocks and pier.
Found pretty easily with one of us shielding the other from the weird lady who kept holding up her dog to 'admire' the view! Thanks zita&enzo.
This cache has been calling my name for a little while, but I since I always seem to get lost in this new suburb, I've rarely ventured past the main roads. The desire to end this weekend with a nice number of smiley faces forced me to suck it up and take a quick detour. I found this lovely park after only 1 U-turn and 1 wrong turn. I had the cache in hand after meeting a nice muggle walking her energetic 18 week old boxer puppy. Would have loved to have stayed and enjoyed the ducks and swans, but the temperature was dropping fast and I was freezing. TFTC zita & enzo!
Ayepeacee and I were visiting the amazing zita&enzo from Brisbane this beautiful weekend. It was my first time in the national capital and I loved every minute. Ayepeacee had found this cache before, so we all rocked up so I could find it too. I wandered over, took a brief look under some structures before wandering around a bit more, and I had it in hand in no time. Hehehe. So sneaky, these are my favourite types of hides. Thank you for an awesome cache again, zita&enzo and for being amazing cacher tour guides ^^
It is amazing what some people can do with an ammo can. Found with Steeba whilst Ding stretched his legs.
Cheers

Found on a Canberra run with Hoojar.
Glad it was night time as it couold have been quite busy in the day- I looked one spot and Hoojar looked another (and came up with the goods!). TFTC!

A pleasant stroll late on a Saturday afternoon, quickly unearthed the cached despite the presence of muggle kids nearby. TFTC
Lovely spot.Came looking once before without success.Found it this time.Absolutely love the container.Up there as far as type of caches go!!!! Well done.
Who said a miserable, cold, wet and windy day wasn't a good caching day for Squirrel and Captain Tomato
I suffered cache blindness on an earlier occasion - Probably because I was expecting a container and a hide similar to one of zita&enzo's other caches.
This time the GPS took me straight to the right spot, with no muggles about.
Very clever hide

Found with The Split on an early morning visit to the area before junior sport. The Split made the excellent find. We really enjoyed the container and the way in which it was hidden, all in pristine condition.
We had to wait a moment while some muggles moved on, but after that we had free space to make the find.
Thanks for the cache Zita and Enzo.

I was in the area on business. However after the business it was time for a lunch break and a quick detour here. I love these containers, they are so cute!
Thanks zita&enzo for the cache - nice spot.

This is a nice kids playground which came complete with a couple of kids playing with their little beagle puppy! Fortunately they were totally engrossed in their puppy and we were able to conduct our search without any worries. We have seen this hide before [and even have one of our own like it in Newcastle] so we didn't take too long to find it. TNLNSL TFTC
After I dropped a CFL at the nearby waste recovery centre for safe recycling, I decided to grab a few nearby caches on my way home.
As I arrived here, a family group wandered off, leaving me all alone to search.
Found it quickly, as I had an epiphany (well, I thought I remembered zita&enzo & GUIO mention this the Red Hill Rain and Mud event).
Thanks for the cache.

152. An easy find as the hide was a little "skew wiff". Had to wait for my chance to make a grab due to the muggle factor.TFTC.
Found and logged at 15:05, Spending the week caching in the ACT hope to pick up many more
Thanks zita&enzo

The impending weather kept this place deserted for the first time in about four visits. Thanks for moving the cache to a fun and easily found location. Thanks.

Pleasant area especially with a jetty going out into the billabong. Some muggle activity but not obtrusive.
I spent 15 minutes trapped above GZ a month ago in a hot air balloon.
Got becalmed and just sat above the shade and the tree's and went up and down looking for a different direction.
Eventually flew about 200 meters away and landed.
I really wanted to land near GZ and get the cache but it was not to be.
Out and about tonight and this was the last cache we grabbed.
Thanks for placing it.

We have made a change to the cache container and it is now ready to go! Happy caching
It seems that a fence has been erected here which will prevent anyone finding this cache unless they're up for some climbing! We'll put something new here before long. Z&E.
We enjoyed the hide spot and location for the views as well.
Thanks to zita & enzo for the hide.
Thanks to zita & enzo for the hide.
Houses nearby still very unkept looking front yards, however the duck pond did not look too bad. One muggle kid near GZ otherwise able to search undisturbed.
An easy find, thanks.

Found at 11.40am GAFF5 in the company of Blackie_71, Browngang, Chewinprickles, and Robmc.
An easy find (apparently!) a nice estate as well however let down slightly by the lack of maintenance of the various nature strips.
Thanks zita&enzo

We were thinking about a place for lunch and this would have done nicely but somehow it just didn't happen. A few caches later yes.
Thanks
Thanks
Whats the story with this area of Canberra? All the houses in this estate look pretty new but in nearly every case the nature strips and front gardens are unkept. To me this place looks like some sort of slum, doesn't anybody around here have any sort of pride in their house? Luckily the park where the cache was was pretty nice. Thanks Zita&enzo hope you don't live here.
A very quiet place today - just a pile of ducks on the water (and they said they weren't allowed to reveal any clues as to the cache's location - no bread for them!)
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
=)Arrived in style to this area on the scoots with the cache owners, no hints given and no gps, just had a hunt around the park with the odd 'cold'- 'warmer' as they looked on from a distance, i seemed to have missed seeing it once when i was right next to it, must have been the extra effort into the decent container preparation that did the trick , great spot for a cache homies, Thanks for the fun =)
