Hmmm. What to do here... Can you log a found on an archived cache?
I'd downloaded this one before it was archived so didn't realise it was off line.
After finishing the Loop with Stealthseeker, we had some time left so decided to have a look for this one too. We located the smashed remains of the container (see photo) and a little bit of the log book.
We've now removed the remains and laid them to rest.
Nice area - shame about the muggles.

Out with Aussiemates for the Burpengary Loop this afternoon and just collecting a few more before heading home. AM must have loaded this one onto the GPS prior to archiving. We did find the remnants and took it back to the car for disposal.
This cache has been muggled too many times and with limit places to put and still fit the name. So I'll have to close this cach down.
Muggled!
Arriving at GZ we found the container base and then the lid. A short search and we found the plastic bag with the log but no other contents. Signed log and then returned cache and covered it up but I think it may need to be relocated. Not a lot of cover under that tree.

Back on the North side of town sooner than expected so a chance to visit some more of what Burpengary has to offer. Unfortunately the weather was going to be the biggest problem of the afternoon with some severe storms predicted after that spell of hot days recently!!
Managed to grab ten for the afternoon before the storm hit as we weren't going to risk getting struck by lightning….
-------------------------------------------------
Number 4 - No problems here. Parked close by and a quick cross over the stones and a quick find. All Ok with log and cache.

Found with geonanny, auntie and kid, little miss 7 raced off to make the retrieval. Nice easy find, lovely spot. Tftc.
Found the stepping stones then found the cache. Long day caching out in Burpengary and surrounds. TFTC
Big day out at Burpengary and surrounds with Karenhippo and lucky for us, it was a bit cooler.
After rain this cache would be aptly-named Wading A quick find for us here.

Grabbing a few geocaches in the Burpengary area, having travelled up the back from Samsonvale and this one was next this afternoon. Net88, /dev/gc0c and I trundled in towards GZ. I found an easy place to cross the creek (not so sure I found the best access in hindishgt) and so ended up at GZ first. The GPSr said I was nearby and so I parked my backside without looking. The others turned up and I'd damn near perched on the cache. All in good condition here and a nice little park. TFTC Treking Trev
Captain Terror sits down near GZ, says he doesn't want to look for the cache. Net88 reads the hint, o like the one that's right behind you. Yup it's right there peeking out. The Captain doesn't even need to find caches, caches find the Captain.

Had been here last year, but with no joy. I was sure it was in a different spot, so had me scratching my head for a while. Finally read back through the logs and seen it had been moved. This is a great spot. Found quickly, Thanks Treking Trev
TFTC Found stepping stones but a the are wet had to be careful. TNLNSL

TFTC, out with 4 travellingbuds and Hamish heroes for a day of caching. The stepping stones were under water so had to be a bit careful. Easy find once we found, the hint says it all.tnlnsl
No. 433
Found with Geodaughters 2 and 3. It was a quick find thanks to the hint and the cache itself is safe and well-stocked.
Thanks for the cache Treking Trev .

I'm not sure how I found this cache. It was nowhere near where the hint described and laying out in the open. Perhaps it had been muggled? I relocated it back to a place appropriate according to the hint and partially covered it up.
Went to the wrong side of the park ,but eventually worked it out and found the cache
Parking at this one and making our way across the stepping stones we soon had the cache in hand Nice easy find and all looking nice and new Seems we were the 2nd to find on this one

Fun stones. Lots of huge passionfruit laying around this area.
A quick find once the gps settled. Our iphones both had problems with this area.

Today's caching adventure took me around the Burpengary Power Trail. Afterwards, I cleaned up a few local caches to leave a nice smilie map.
Stepped over the stones, found a brand new cache and log (felt just like a FTF) and then stepped back over the stones.

Cache has been replaced with a new container, logbook, swaps and even new co-ord. It is now place about 40M from the old location near another set of stepping stones. This location should provide some cover from muggles being behind a couple of thin screens of bushes on one side and a boggy park on the other.
Can't find the proper container. thanks to the cacher who put a temporary container and log. When I have prepared another container I'll bring it back on line.
We had completed the nearby power trail this morning and after refuelling with some lunch we headed out to find a few more caches in this beautiful Winter weather - 28 degrees?! Gotta love QLD! This was a quick find, after first spotting the clip from a Clipseal container. There were muggles in the house across the stream but we were able to stay out of their view. The log was very damp. Thank goodness we did not need to cross using the cache title. Happened to be on the correct side of the water today.
Out and about with teamdfl for a Friday binge day No trouble finding GZ and the container, but even though it was closed and hidden away, it was empty Go figure... [?] dfl went back to the car to get paper and a baggie. While we were here we saw a complete rainbow so got some video [^] TFTC, Treking Trev.
A nice quick find here, but the cache was totally empty. Rummaged up a bit of paper and a baggie from the geomobile
Tried this one some time ago but was foiled by too many muggles close by. Found it easily today with no-one around.

Found container open in middle of grass walkway put container behind closest teetree and covered with grass container was empty
Nice little cache.
Kids convinced me to take a quick run to find this before dinner.
There were quite a few triple forked paperbarks, but only took a few minutes to find the right one.
Helped greatly when I realised the rocks I first saw weren't the stepping stones, but the right ones were a bit further down.
Good fun!

After spending the night caching with [purple]Nyssaflutterby[/purple], [maroon]Net88 [/maroon]and [navy]Captain Terror,[/navy] [navy]The Captain[/navy] and [purple]Nyss[/purple] decided to head home around midnight.
Since [maroon]Net88 [/maroon]and I were still keen to keep going, we continued on through till late morning clearing the area.

I had been caching since 9:30am with Nyssaflutterby, when we met up with Captain Terror after lunch. Around 2:30 Nyssa needed to go and pick up the kids from school so it was just the Captain and myself. At 9pm we met back up with Nyssa and we were also joined by egginthesky. At 12:30am Nyssa and the Captain decided it was time to head home so egginthesky and i decided to head north and clean up some more caches . Geez how many areas can this hint be used for! We found the cache within a few minutes of parking. Thanks for the cache
The day was very hot but I had waited till after 3pm to go caching. I was driving past on the way to caches further North and parked on the main road and took a stroll along the bank to the area.
A few youths were on skateboards in the nearby street but they were far enough out of sight to allow me to search.
It didn't take long to locate the cache and I hurried back to the cool air conditioning in the car.

We parked close by and located the cache soon after. Cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the hide.
2nd time lucky. Have tried when a beginner with no luck. Left a geocoin. TFTC
Have had a few DNF reports on this cache and there has been some work being done in the imediate area involving some heavy machinery. Now that it appears to be completed and there arn't any Workmen about. I have repalced the cache within a couple of metres of the oridginal position. Should be easy to find.
Looked all around here couldn't find wonder if still there due to new work in the area
We went out for her birthday for a few late night caches.
We didn't find this one however. We looked at all the trees on that side of the brook but there seemed to be nowhere to even hide a cache there. But then we noticed that the chip wood around the bases of the trees looked new and with the construction vehicles nearby and the torn up ground around, we deduced that maybe a council worker had found it and removed it.
Will wait to see if anyone has the same problem.

With a base near the Glass House Mountains we ventured out to get a few caches. An enjoyable assortment of hides and we enjoyed finding this one.
Thanks to Treking Trev.
Thanks to Treking Trev.
Couldn't find it. There has obviously been some very recent landscaping work on both sides of the creek with a sizeable amount of woodchips. Don't know if this made any difference to the search.
Being Brisbane Show day & a school holiday for the kids , thought there would have been more kids around. All quite here today.

My last day in Brisbane and again more great weather. I found this cache fairly easily early in the morning. SL TFTC
Arrived and search a few trees before the neighbour decided to come out for a smoke and her dog joined her
The dog started going crazy and we felt uncomfortable with the neighbour there, so decided to leave. Thanks for the hunt Treking Trev

Finally found time to have a cache maintenance morning. So I performed the Geocache rain dance in that I managed to get over half of the caches that have had needs mantenance reports, fixed. Cleanup and dried this cache out doubled bagged the all imporant log book. and placed the container in a larg ziplocked bag. I hope these measures keeps some of the water out. No doubt we will have a week of rain now. At least I have done my bit to keep drougth away.
Out and about getting a few smilies with Ayepeacee. This one was made difficult for us because of mowing muggle and mowing muggles audience of 1, in adjacent backyard. Retrieved okay but returning it Ayepeacee was super sneaky, as not to be noticed by audience muggle. TFTC ^^
Found a very waterlogged cache, needs a new container as the bag has holes in it. Couldn't even open log to sign.
It was a long walk around the block but I got this one so it was worth it. Thanks Treking Trev
it was uncovered so it was easy to find so i covered it back up and it is a bit water logged
Saw and heard suspicious characters as we arrived at GZ. Sure enough, they were the third group of geocachers we ran into today! We teamed up for the hunt and after a short systematic search, found the cache, although the dog in the nearby yard wasn't happy with our presence. Unfortunately the log book is absolutely saturated and we managed to scratch a mark in but it really needs to be replaced. Had a bit of a chat before heading off to the next one. Thanks Treking Trev
Found it, again with assist from a premium member. Thanks again kids are enjoying the game. Also requires log sheet to be repaired as very wet.
Yes it is a little close to a house but it is a cool place. Log is very very wet and barely usable. Tftc
Nice little spot. I see that someone has put in a cemented set of stones now, but the proper steppers are still there. Spent ages finding the right tree, but then there it was. Thanks for the cache.
