Thought I might check out all these archived caches. Will drop notes on each one and update if cache is there or notA new cache has been installed here and after a thorough search we are happy that the old cache is no longer there so no more killing 2 birds with 1 stone here anymore
Down in Hawera for the weekend for a shake-down test of the new caravan and the tow vehicle’s capability. Parked up at NZMCA Muller Park, and today out wandering about Hawera, for a pleasant walk or two before the weather cracks up.

This is an unexpected contribution to my Hidden Creatures souvenir hunt, being number 98 of the required 100.

Found as we drive around the mountain picking up the odd cache for the hidden creatures souvenirs
Found on my husbands last geocaching trip to the Taranaki. Another archived cache Andrew would have been chuffed to have found TFTC. Mrs Waiiti20
Still there, and a very quick find. Surprisingly (given past comments) the logbook was quite dry and easily signed.

Not too many vehicles going past today.. So was able to have a good look... Finally spotted it and dries the cache/log out on the dashboard of the car while writing this and researching my next find...
It's a great sight down here at night when they are flaring off...

Glad it didn't take a 3-star look to find! Heading back towards the mountain now.
Decided to travel round the mountain catching up on some caches we missed last time. Glorious day for travelling.

A quick stop here before heading home after a pleasant Sunday ride. All quiet, so I took my time and looked for something out of place, then a quick grab, sign and replace. Thanks for the cache.
Was expecting a longer hunt here but the man-eyes were working spot on and he had it in hand extra quickly, before paua-eyes could even get into action. An interesting cache spot specially at dusk with the flame glowing brightly. TFTC.
We were just about to give up when suddenly......... Great hide. TFTC A fav from me
