Making the most of this magnificent winter's day by grabbing a few bushland caches. Tftc
Really enjoyed this multi cache and was an easy find even though the animal was missing at C! Easy track which will be looking beautiful in a month or so as more flowers come out.
Chose an increasingly warm day to make the walk but we're all big kids at heart, so totally worth it. Couldn't find #3, and made a rookie mistake by missing #1 causing me to double back but I made the find in the end. Added a few more trinkets to the box.
Have replaced missing animal, remarked all the animals with a marker for numbers. Will repaint properly another time when drier. Also checked final hide and all is good.
We headed out this way this morning to enjoy your multi on this beautiful morning. We gathered the information as best we could with obliviously C missing and a couple of others fading so much they were hard to read one so much that we couldn’t make it out at all. So we had 4 of the six numbers required. We ducked off to clear the nearby track before coming back to tackle the final. So with 2 numbers missing it was down to a methodical search. Lucky for us it was the first 2 numbers we tried and a couple of minutes searching turned up the prize. We signed your log and returned your cache back to its hidey hole. TFTC mackerals.
Came here with axell33 for some morning caching with a walk! Lovely winters day picking up the clues, we found all but c, d was almost not found as we had to scratch around to find him as he was well camouflaged and f could no longer be read. So with our info gathered as best we could, axell33 put the numbers in and we started what could have been a long search. Fortunately we found it after checking a couple of places. A good little multi and a nice walk in the bush. Thanks mackerals.
Ok!! Take back my DNF!! Found the first!! And now to go back and find the rest! Thank you to Mackerals for reaching out to help! Total newbie here!
Found an animal, however the container with initial clues MAY have been removed. Thorough search came up with no goods
A quick find after gathering the information (we too couldn't find C but got a little help from a friend).
TFTC mackerals this is find #14950 for us.

It does appear that C is missing but we muddled our way through to find a well stocked container in good condition at GZ. The Kids will love this one, as did we. A lovely walk in the rain. TFTC
Decided to park here to complete the nearby series so I started here. I couldn't find C but I have a feeling I was just blind. Grabbed all the other animals and worked out GZ without C. Quick find and in good condition. Nice little series so have a fav. TFTC
Teamed up with Photo-Play today for a couple of hikes around Bedfordale, and this was our last stop of the day. A fun multi and a very pleasant walk here with still plenty of wildflowers around. Thank you for the cache mackerals, a favourite!
Found it. TFTC mackerals. Teamed up with papillon367 today and tackled 2 series in this area. Couldn't resist the challenge with this one, it was so close. Great walk trial here and nice Multi
After an enjoyable walk around Settlers Common picking up the nearby SCC & SCW series, I moved the car around here to WP1 and headed back off into the bush. Again, a very enjoyable walk with an interesting and surprising variety of animals on the way This is a great kid- and adult- friendly multi which was nice and easy to complete. No problems with any of the waypoints and a nice sized final to find too Some very angry looking skies this afternoon but thankfully the rain held off and I gathered up 17 caches This was one of my faves today - point duly awarded TFTC
A quick find here before work. Had gathered all the info previously and had been saving it for a day I needed.
Thanks mackerels.
Thanks mackerels.
Today we had a family day out with a Bush bbq a bit of 4wdriving and some caching on the way home. We stopped here due to the title thinking this would be one the geokids would enjoy and we weren’t wrong. They loved looking for the animals in this nice easy bush walk and were rewarded with a nice size cache with lots of swag. This cache was a great end to a lovely day. Tftc
Nice straight forward multi on a gorgeous but very nippy winter day. Can’t understand why more people don’t try this one. Lots of broken glass around though so sturdy shoes recommended.
We had started this cache about 4 years ago & Im not sure why we never finished it off? Whilst in the area today we finally turned the cache into a smilie
TFTC & for showing us this lovely area mackerals

I wanted to get out and stretch the legs so decided to pick a nice series of caches in the hills to complete. The Settlers Common West and a few others in the area were selected. It was trying to rain while out on the trails but didn't really stop me. All the caches were found in good condition. This was find number thirteen of fifteen for the day. Some of the numbers are getting a little faint on the animals and may become hard to read in the future. Many thanks mackerals for the of cache.
A fave point here for a well set out multi [^]
I do enjoy a good multi and try to complete as many as I can when time permits. I was in the area today and stopped by to work out the coords for this one. A well constructed multi here topped off with a nice hide to finish. Thankfully we had no trouble adding our name to the log book. TFTC .
mackerals - jinta29 found your cache Kids Collection - Bush Animals on 28/01/2017, 5:52 AM. This is my find #6249 and find #1 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

After dropping FlyingPigSquadron off at the airport we decided to continue on our way and Cache Armadale. We had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect and the caches interesting.
Thanks mackerals, for your cache.
Thanks mackerals, for your cache.
We had collected the info years ago and stopped while in the area to log the final today. Thanks for the hide.
Three and a half years since we initially visited the WPs to identify the animals. I'd made an error so we DNFed the final. A friend sent through the final coordinate to confirm the error I'd identified. Great to dash the 450 or so metres back along the trail around noon today to log a quick find of the final. Thanks.
Headed out with the geodaughter Kristybelle to pick up a few caches that have been on the to do list for a while. The weather was great for bush walking today and it was great to see all the wildflowers out. We had an enjoyable walk doing this multi and once we had the required info the cache was quickly found at GZ. TFTC mackerals

Decided to take a chance with the weather after yesterdays atrocious state. Although overcast, grey and a bit chilly it was perhaps the perfect day to tackle this multi and the Armadale Tails series. Collected all the animals with no problems, however some of the codes are starting to fade. Happy to have completed this multi with Everlasting and JacobsCrew. Thanks mackerals

Enjoyed accompanied with Richlink and JacobsCrew. The weather didn't so bad - no rain phew!.
It was good fun and bushland - pretty wild flower - saw some kangaroos laydown and watch us doing.. [^][^]
Thanks mackerals for organising the cache and hunt [^]

Found Kids Collection - Bush Animals. It was truly exciting to hunt down the animals for the final reward. An excellent effort worthy of a favourite point. No trackables to trade TNLN SL TFTH mackerals.
We achieved another souvenir in the mission GC. Thanks for the hides, kids loved the animals.
Unfortunately it looks like the first animal may be missing (although easy to figure out what the coordinate number for this one is ). We found all others, typed in the coordinates, searched high and low but could not find the final cache. There seemed to be a lot of broken bottles around that area so thinking it may have been removed? Has anyone found it recently?
Regardless it is a lovely area to explore and was a magical day for walk - sun was shining, birds were singing so all good

We found all the animals apart from the first. It was a great geocacheing but we never found the cache!
I hadn't looked at past logs either before or during looking for this cache. I could not find the first waypoint but went looking for the other five successfully. After having to head off for a previous appointment, I returned and made a (wrong) guess for letter A then guessed again before promptly changing my mind to a third number. I was correct this time and the cache was found quickly. No swaps, but signed the log before replacing as found and wandering back to the car. Thanks to mackerals for the cache and the exercise .
After reading previous logs I was a bit worried that this cache would be trouble but it turned out to be very straight forward.
The Coordinates in general were about 3 to 4 m from the items that needed to be found but they were all in places you would expect them to be.
We enjoyed the cache and love well made multi caches like these.
We look forward to finding more.
Thanks for the bush walk adventure.

Disappointing that another DNF on a multi continues to reinforce my dislike of this style of cache. Reading the online logs, it looks like it's been a saga for you to maintain too.
I had read in advance that there would be no ambiguity involved in this multi, merely recording number which would lead to GZ, which is why I bothered to attempt it.
Great news, all the animals are still in play after your recent maintenance. My GZ was a doubtful 140m off the track into the bush. After coming all the way out here, I had to give it a go, but there was no sign of a regular cache within 20m of my GZ so clearly there was a mistake made somewhere along the way with the recording of values.
I hope the animals stay put this time so others can come and experience greater success than me.

Have replaced the missing animals again, hopefully they will not go missing again.
Pretty certain Mr Frog is missing..so no clue for this one and we ran out of light...another day..

What a mission getting attacked by March flies found the cache even though we were missing a coord tftc
Wow what a mission attempting this cache again getting bitten by March flies couldn't find waypoint 5 so it might need checking but we managed to find the cache without it after putting every number possible in, tftc
WOW!! What a mission this one turned into. New tomtom had me going in circles everywhere here. Took way longer than it should have, but persistence paid off, and the final cache was eventually found, with not much daylight left. I didn't find skippy though. Hope it is still there somewhere. Might need to be checked on.
Thanks mackerals for the effort you put into this one. I might pinch the idea and do something similar down my way.

Went out and replaced the 2nd animal as it is confirmed to have gone. Another animal (of the same kind) is in place now. We through the whole lot but also found that C animal has gone missing. Been replaced

The kids loved finding the plastic animals. All catches were easily found.
We left behind a travel bug.
Thanks.GeoAlberts

Nice easy multi, great for the geokiddies. I liked the way the stages were very close so the kids won't get bored with a long walk between them. geo dogs kev and red loved the area as much as I did. TFTC took geo coin LN.
Great multi for the little kids and not so little kids alike.
Dropped off Phil’s Gecko Geocoin.
Thanks mackerals.

Was going to try out my Android C:geo but it froze at the first way point. So it ended up being a combination of my Garmin and the mobile to find this one. As I had not loaded it into the garmin.
A nice simple multi cache easy to follow with no complicated maths and nice little surprises at each waypoint. Nice to do a walk through the area as well.
Thanks mackerals.

I came up here with the grandkids yesterday which didn't turn out too well...1 1/2 year old fell asleep on the way so had to wake him up...then I couldn't 'unfold' the fancy pram so we wandered off towards waypoint two (by then little Miss 4 year old had her pockets full of rocks already) when I heard a car screeching to a halt near my car, but they took off when they saw me...I must be a scary sight! anyway...decided it was too far to walk for the little one and we went to a playground instead...mind you that was just as exhausting...but for me!
long story short, came back today with little B and we both enjoyed the walk to the waypoints and back.

Had the 3 grandchildren this weekend so though we would do this one. It was enjoyed by all of us, great for the little ones and nice easy walking. Made a few swaps and signed log. Thanks for this one a favourite from us.
We have been watching this cache with one eye since it was published and the other eye on the sky, nothing but rain, rain and more rain. Today it seemed fine enough to take the drive and walk, we survived the day with a light sprinkle, but everyone was having such a good time that we hardly noticed.
Thanks for a great kids multi! Our two loved it and we made up several animal guessing games while walking, so it really got the imaginations going, great stuff.
Found without a hitch. Some small swaps by the kids.
Cheers

This big kid (chwiliwr) loved this cache. We enjoyed the walk around each of the waypoints and managed to complete most of it before the rain arrived. Joint *FTF*
Thanks mackerals for an excellent cache.
