Logs
I never knew these gardens were here?! I'll have to come back sometime to explore. TFTC!
#21009 - 1:01:00 PM; Arrived in the Blue Mountains last night with the geohoney for a couple of days of R&R. While the geohoney browsed the retail opportunities along the Leura Mall, I set off for a few of the nearby caches, including this one. Nice quick find soon after arrival near GZ. All in good order and replaced as found once I signed/stamped the log. TFTC pjmpjm
A quick find here today, a very pleasant winter day. Thanks for the cache pjmpjm
Found. With the hint, the container was quickly in my hands. Well done. Thanks for the cache
Tftc. Went straight for the obvious spot and found the cache. The gardens are very pretty. Found with red_ear_slider.
Found with Portstevo on our BM adventure! Will have to check out the gardens next visit, bit late in the day this time. Tftc. Been lovely visiting Leura!
A quick find though some stealth is required to avoid the muggles around. TFTC
Nice easy find in such a beautiful spot, her for pre-wedding run through for tomorrow big day, log was dry had to empty a little water out of container , fav for a beautiful spot
Thanks for these awesome caches around the beautiful areas of Leura. I absolutely love this area. To make it even better, the southerly has come through, and everything seems to be right again. TFTC
Very quick grab on our way to 300 finds. Beautiful place for a walk too. ....../ ).....' /---' (_____.TFTC . ((__)..... _ ((___)....... -'((__)--.___((_)
last cache for the day on what turned out to be a much bigger adventure than anticipated.it was after five pm when i arrived by the entrance here enabling a quick find with an appropriately placed stump nearby helping with the boost due to the distinct lack of muggles about. unfortunately this also meant it was due to the gardens themselves being closed. i'm so curious about this house i'm going to have to refer to the old trusty google images for enlightenment.thanks pjmpjm for taking me to this cool "everglades" spot with a geocache.find number 4475. probably.
Nice quick find for a quick stop, the gardens seem interesting but today is lousy weather so I'll save my money and come back (its raining while I write this long from the dryness of my car)

A difficult one for a 5 ft nothing but a very good stretch and Mr Unssy at about 5.6 ft managed it. Unfortunately we weren't carrying a TOTT . Thanks for placing it at this lovely place. Enjoying the UTA and a couple of sneaky caches
Found quickly with my trusty ToTT. Thankfully my taller partner was with me to make the grab.
A day out geocaching with The Booos in the Mountains
I found this cache while in the area today TFTC

IT might have been because of the Leura Garden Festival, but the cache was no where to be found at the most obvious spot.
Grabbed this after an enjoyable visit to the garden. Used one of our Discover vouchers and loved the Art Deco style of the place. Tall husband helped to make to find. TFTC!
Found it, I am glad I am not very short otherwise it would have been out of my reach.

I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to five months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES! Well, at least I'm currently only 3 months behind.
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Headed up to Leura with the Geowife for a day out. Pity the weather kept threatening rain - which it did while we were having lunch at our favourite Leura cafe. Is it just me or is the lolly shop a shadow of its former self?
Went for five and found them all.

Any cache specific comments will be added here. Don't hold your breath, though.

Cache located but container so full of water, the log has become one with the plastic. so hard to avoid with the recent rain. Tftc.
A quick find and there was a helpful little block that I used to grab it and log and replace. I’ve take the TB to move along TFTC
A nice park and grab, although the fog and rain don’t make for great views, it does mean a nice and clear gz. Tftc
Cache was in much better condition than I expected. Dried out the container a bit. Log book is in good condition.
found with Chippyddd and geodog and georabbit. Cache and logbook are dry. room for SWAPS & drops. SL TFTC TFTH Replaced cache as found ready for the next cacher
No. 10 for the day. Found icw geo buddy Mystic Seer. SL TFTH TFTC TNLN. You need to be tall like a tree. The trees are truly magnificent in the area. Thanks to the CO for the Cache and bringing us to this location.
Did a lot of stretching and poking around, at the place where the coordinates led us to and other likely looking spots. Unsure if it’s still there and we failed or if it’s been taken
Found something in a tree that wouldn’t normally be there (a natural item, but obviously placed there by someone). Thought the cache would be under it, but couldn’t find it.
Gardens closed, a pity. However, no problem finding the cache and signing the log. All in good condition. TFTC pjmpjm
Easy little park and grab. The cache is in good condition, signed and replaced. Thanks pjmpjm for placing the cache
Nice and quick find, log was very wet and unfortunately we were not able to write our names. But a nice spot all the same. Tftc
No garden walk for us this morning. But a lovely spot all the same. It was a bit wet. Too wet to signe!
Thanks for the good hints. Log saturated, needs replacing. Crisp sunny day for a cycle.
