Very well done Dazzatron. A new way of hiding using this for me to learn! Thanks for the tricky one and a fav point from me for your way of preserving the integrity of the site
We are on a caravanning trip around Australia and are visiting Moonta to check out the sites and grab a few caches. My partner fou d this one while I was looking at other items. Thanks for the cache
Day 3 of trip to Yorke. Weather is looking iffy today so concentrating on puzzles, multis and labs around Moonta. A bit of bike riding too.A ride along the trail to Yelta and a lovely hide.A favourite point from me
Dropped in and checked this one out while passing by it looked like the log was full so replaced it with a fresh log sheet.
After racing along the rail Trail this took way too long not a nano seen similar before TFTC well done
This a new account but I found this cache with my mum (EmsDan1315) and my brother (maggies123) on 1-4-2024. TFTC.
Thanks Dazzatron for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #9762 on 18/7/2024 at 12:20PMOut on a rare weekday adventure to find some caches and see some of our great state. This involved some driving, walking and riding to collect many types including some puzzles that have been solved for a good while. My second caching trip in the red cachemobile. Clever hide took a while. Great stuff
That's not where I expected to see one of them ... wait ... oh wow! Such a clever cache.Tftc
Tftc we are visiting moonta for school holidays and thought we would bring our muggle parents for an explore. This one was a great intro for them
This cache was super hard and small. It took our team no short of thirty minutes. The map took us straight to the coordinates. Once we found it was so obvious. We wright our names and called it a job well done!!!!!! GO TEAM CHICKEN NUGGET!!!(Thanks to the creator this was an amazing cache.)
Getting away on a Yorke Peninsula long weekend. I wanted to get a weekend in before the busy school holidays kick in. Taking the opportunity to grab some solved mysteries and any traditional and multi caches along the way. Just so enjoyable exploring the regional areas in the sunshine. Very clever. A favourite point from me. Thanks for the cache Dazzatron.# # #13459 # #
Ha...think outside the square re the clue. Hats of to the CO for ingenuity. Worth a fav. For sure. PS this is my 4000 find. Shall dedicate this hide to that
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
Took me way longer then 30 minutes, sat there walking around, reading comments. I started walking away from the compass because I thought it was moved. What a long time. I eventually saw where the cache was and started laying on the rocks in accomplishment. Took so long lol. It was definitely worth but oh my. Thanks for setting this geocache up, it was a great find and I enjoyed it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Weekend away to Moonta with Pony1966.
Yep, worthy of the favourites, have another!

Found with Wal & Ol as we enjoy a caching getaway. Fave for the creativity, Cache is in good condition, TFTC!
Time for another Tuesday Trek and after wondering where the greenest pastures might be, the emergence of a mini series in Moonta tipped the balance in that direction. But of course there were going to be quite a few to find before getting to the main course. So after picking up the Rat it was north to Bute before heading west. Today, for a change, it was mainly traditionals but I did manage to include quite a few from the nice CFS series as well as a virtual for quite a variety on another rewarding day out caching.
A nice break from the new series. Having a previous finder along did help but it still took a while. I wonder how the CO managed to ensure that this hide would still be viable after the redevelopment [?]
Thanks to Dazzatron for putting out this cache.
Cache #13739 for me.
This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).

Found on our way back to adelaide on a stunning winters day. It’s actually a t shirt day. And the middle of winter ! I have always been worried about wriggly sticks here but this weekends seemed perfect. Swung by the day before and had a bit of an idea but confirmed with a previous finder later and we came back. Favourite point too
Gotta love a smiley face on the map! Thank you for contributing to the geo map and maintaining when required. TFTC

Pen died after all of that luckily we had another in the car but this was definitely very cool
Equal best cache of the day here.
Took me ages, because I had to thoroughly search the other thing first. I love kneeling on ballast, don't you!? Then I looked a bit closer at where my phone said GZ was, and found it straight away, because the co-ords were spot on...
Excellent hide, I love these kinds of caches.

Amazing hide. One of our most favourites. Was looking at the wrong info from the hint for a bit then clicked on what it meant. Tftc.
This Easter we are camping at moonta bay. Today included playing around at the caravan park then going for a swim and then playing at splash town. After we went out and found 3 caches. This was one of them.

We love a railway cache and this one did not dissapoint. Took us a little while to find, but worth the hunt. Thank you for the information and the cache.
I don't like micro's as a rule and really hate nano's. Caches like this that are well themed to the area i don't mind at all. Have a fav point for your effort.
Found with Mogni. Mogni wants to get to 20, 000 by the Rutherglen Mega in Victoria and make that event her 20, 000 th. So we went out to complete the " THE Sad Fisher series " and stay in Moonta for the night. We got 150 finds for the weekend even though we started out at lunch time Saturday. Any damaged caches found where replaced with a new container and any logs found full or almost full were replaced or a extra scroll added. The weather couldn't make up it's mind, over 30 on Saturday and it rained almost all of the way home.

Looks like the work on the new trail will be finished very soon but area still unavalable.
Cache has been removed till I know what is happening here regarding new walking track. I may have to move or archive it but will keep you informed.
After setting our vans up in the caravan park with iluvtrekking we headed out to grab some nearby caches. If the 8 weeks we have been in SA, today is the first day we’ve actually felt warmth from the sun ??. Clever camo. Thanks Dazzatron
Brilliant, this is what geocaching is all about. Thanks for the creative ideas you have come up with. TFTC
Today we attempted to complete the caches around Moonta we hadn’t already found.
A few minutes searching before Mr sylken found the sneaky hide.
Many thanks for this one Dazzatron….. a favourite point on it’s way

Ì use to live in the area but never did quite venture this far. Took a few minutes to find the ever so sneaky hide. The logbook definitely needs replacing as I was struggling to find a spot to put me to it.

TFTC took us a second visit in the morning but found it straight away the second time.
We are staying in Moonta for a few days which gives us the luxury of exploring and caching.
This one had us searching for a while...it had to be there.
A lucky move by RoadieR finally had the cache in hand.
A really good and well constructed hide.
Thanks Dazzatron, a fav point from us.
(PS log is totally full and needs replacing!)

A quick find out caching with Little Blue Wren while staying at Maitland for a few days.A great hide.TFTC
Great spot for a hide. Nearly beat me this time till I started walking back to the car. Very clever
Found today when we returned to Moonta to finish our tours with the train trip. Deserves a favourite for its construction. TFTC
