Was going out to fix or find this one but the roads are currently closed due to trees down and will be for a little while im guessing. Might need to give the CO a bit longer to fix it
Very much sure it's gone saw a potential but the item that it should be on has been damaged and replaced by parks vic me thinks Looking forward to loging this one such a beautiful spot
... Spent a bit of time looking around with no luck. Only one we didn't get.
This was a tricky one. But I loved coming here - as it was a place I'd often visited when I was younger. TFTC
Our only DNF for the Trail. Looks like new signage here, but will check with the CO. What a disappointment and so close to the end of the Trail too!
No luck with this one. Couldn't figure out the "I". We thought it was the info sign but it was made of paper and very temporary
Our first DNF of the day... Not bad... But dissapointing. We spent some time here, they even sent me all the down to the river bank but nothing...

As there has been no response by the cache owner to the previous note, I am forced to archive this listing.
We were lucky enough to bump into a member of Team Coxy doing a maintenance run just before we reached this cache. As a result we got a heads up on the revised hide and scored a smiley instead od a disabled drive by. Another quick and easy find as we wind our way along beside this beautiful river. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache, and thanks heaps for the info.

Yeap definitely missing, went out to check given the CO's description. Perhaps take it offline for a week or two. Happy to go out and replace.
Sadly this one hid very well from us but time was rushing away from us so we decided that we will be back soon to complete the searches on all the DNF's....
What better way to spend a drizzly Tuesday arvo than drive to Marysville with 88andy88 to pick up a few caches.
Unfortunately this one eluded us.
Unfortunately this one eluded us.
Great spot for a cache, could do with a check up. Contact me if I can help I live reasonably close.
Unfortunately I couldn't spend as ing as I wanted searching for this one but given the new signage and the works that have been carried out it may have gone missing too.
Things are not right here, looks like the signs have been replaced with temporary ones.
Manzie and I were heading to Marysville for the day, as, despite its close proximity, we had never ventured here before. The plan was to complete the Lady Talbot Drive and collect local caches on the way. What a lovely area, it seems most people have moved on from the fires, although the damage is still evident six years on.
This was the last of three DNFs for us today—all micros—but in this case, there has been a lot of work done. Unsure if this work affected the cache location, we had a brief search of the busy area but came up empty-handed. We decided to abandon search and go for the final cache as time was escaping us and we still had a few kms to go on our little adventure. Thanks anyway.

In Marysville for a family weekend away, took the geonephew and geosister on a treasure hunt along the Lady Talbot Trail. With 3 sets of sharp eyes, and 3 keen cachers, we did well on this trail, finding most of the caches without too much trouble.
A beautiful area, and so many nice places to stop along the trail, I would like to thank the cache owners for taking us along this drive, we had a great afternoon, on a mild winters day, and really enjoyed seeing how well the parks have regenerated after the fires.
Such a lovely place, would have liked to make the walk down to the cascades but chose to let the sleeping baby stay that way for a little longer! A quick fine, log book was soaked, attempted to dry it out a little, and put and extra piece of paper in to do the job until warmer days come along. TFTC.

This is the start of a wonderful walk along the creek in the beech forest. You leave the creek at #20 and walk back on the top side of the road. No time for the walk today! Thanks GeoScouts.
12:11:53 Another great spot and a short walk to the information provided. Had just returned the car before another car and only other car seen on the trip out and back.

We decided to go no further.

parked geomobile on the other side of the creek and enjoyed the walk across the bridge to the cache... so beautiful. Great place for a cache.
And wonderful to see a pocket of beeches not burnt
this makes 18 of 19 so far... here's hoping!

A cute one which I found quickly. Only the final one to find in this series which has been a great afternoon drive with challenges TFTC Datruk
Ha! An easy one because it's exactly where I would've put a munzee. Pity all the walks around here are fenced off now. thanks for the cache.
Found @ 1645 while back-tracking the trail - dad found the hide while I was circling and closing distance. TNLNSL-TFTC

Found this while out on a caching adventure with 3up, C@H and º. This was a nice quick find, and we stopped here to fill our guts with food. º arrived, and we continued along the trail with 4 of us. Thanks for the hide.

Today was the last day I could go caching with my partner in caching SedgwickDave before he was to leave for a holiday, so we wanted to go somewhere where we could find lots of caches. It was decided to head to the Marysville area via Healsville and a few caches there too. It was a fantastic sunny spring day and really the ideal day to go caching.
There was a car in the car park when we arrived which was parked in an odd way. I initially thought the occupant was in the car but Dave went on a recon mission and the car was empty. He managed to find the cache very quickly, a sneaky hide.
Thanks to Datruk and Geoscouts for the cache.

Today was another epic today with some good numbers in a region I've been meaning to visit for some time. Was with best mate and caching wingman ahomburg once more with the plan to do the Lady Talbot series as well as other caches in the surrounding region. The weather today was ideal for a big run with a temperature of about 23 and sunny. A good all round day with different types of caches (3 type rule achieved) and some high and low terrain ratings completed. Fascinating to see how much the region was hit by the fires in Feb 2009 and today it coming back which is great to see.
Once at GZ a muggle car was spotted but a sideways glance proved no one was there, so proceed with the hunt and found the corrdinates were very good. Nice hide this one. TFTC GeoScouts

Nice quick find, although more concerned about the road closed sign inhibiting our progression to the final cache. Thanks for this one.
Last day of my 2 week break from work, where better to go than Marysville, I have been considering this trail for some time and todays the day.
#19 Nice hide, quick find but I hate these miniscule log sheets.

Found as part of Pajero Club family geocaching trip in which we travelled in 2 groups. Several new gerocachers to the group and all helped.
18 of 25 today. Great day for a drive and power trail. Lovely area. Thoroughly enjoyed the series.
Found the first couple in this series a while ago and was back for more. This one took me a while as i stopped quite a while before the cache and was looking at the wrong "hint". Crossed the bridge and had a look at the cascades and some of the very interesting and beautiful fauna. Finally found the right "hint" and grabbed and signed. Nice container too.

Quick find at 1505 hrs, (log wet) we made this the last one as the heavy rain and time of day made the walk to #20 not an option. We'll have to come back in drier weather to complete the last one. Many thanks to Datruk & team for this enjoyable series, still very sad to see the fire damage but great to see the regrowth. We were in Marysville just after the fires and the lack of wildlife was obvious but now has returned, many Lyrebirds spotted this day. TFTCaches.
Quick find on a cool & wet winters day!Out & about with my caching bud Happy Pants... Fantastic to see this area regenerating again after the fires... Loved this area...
Nice spot for a quick, grab & sign, probably could have picked a better day. Will definitely be back on a sunnier (warmer) day with my camera...

Nice clue for this one and soon had this one in my cold wet hand. Log was a bit damp but still managed to sign log, (love my sharpie pen) one more to go for a great run of caches. So far so good. TFTC
I had a bit of a hit and miss day today. I was on my way to Melbourne and having not been to Marysville for many years, decided it was high time to pay a visit to the area. I was in a strict schedule, so unfortunately any cache that was not found quickly was skipped, and worse that meant the walk to the final was left, too. I'll be back to grab the rest someday, when it's not so wet and cold!
A very enjoyable series, thankyou.

There was a muggle couple having a cup of tea here. But I was able to find the cache without drawing attention. Walked down and looked at the first cascade - lovely. Came back up and had a longer conversation with the muggles. Thanks!
I got word from Dr Jim that he was panning an 4x4 assault out east.. so plans were made to take the day off work and join the fun.. C@H woosed out when the weather got nasty.. So it was down to the two of us to fly the flag and spread the good caching word.. Mostly the bad weather saw us coming and ran the other way.. Although nothing could scare the snow away, however despite the cold conditions I wouldn't have traded it for the world.. go as far as saying best caching experience ever.. The trust steed (4x4 hire truck) did us well and mostly stayed on the road.. Thanks to all the various cache owners for your part in our fun day, and of course to the Captain of the fair ship, Dr Jim.. Sorry for the proforma copy/paste log.. TFTC Dipped various bugs and TB's to mark the occasion..
Here started the power trail hour which saw us smash the 20 caches in 60minutes, Hows that TDC?
Thanks Datruk and Team Coxy, awsome fun, nice tight series, good coords and hints, nice combination of hide styles and cache containers.. Replaced #19 logbook too..

I've wanted to do a powertrail for some time and this one especially appealed as the area is so beautiful. I persuaded Spladem to join and we blitzed the whole trail in sixty minutes. Nevermind we still enjoyed the scenery! See the final log for more details.
Forgot to say on our find log that the cache log was unfortunately mush and unable to be signed and needs replacing asap.
JMelb likes to celebrate Mother's Day on the Saturday (if possible) as we always have a busy day on actual Mother's Day with Church then visiting J's Mum and G's Mum (who lives some distance away) in the afternoon, so this year she chose to go to Marysville for "her day". It was actually a nicer day than had been predicted although the temperature did drop as we went over the Black Spur! We had lunch in Marysville and looked around the local shops and could see some more rebuilding since our last visit about 1 year ago.
Well this was hillarious!! The car GPS was still having an absolute fit and thought we were in the middle of no-where driving parallel to the road!!! It stopped raining but as the car GPS waqs so mixed up we had actiually stopped well short of (read before the bend in the road) the cache so G&M headed off to this one as J's back was playing up. #2529 We pulled up at GZ and there was a lovely older couple have lunch/afternoon tea - whatever it was it was a pretty impressive spread! A great GZ for a cache, especially when others are about because you don't look as suspicious . Dad located the cache but had to wait patiently for a window of opporunity to retrieve and then to again replace. Thanks very much Datruk for the placement [^]
I decided to do the series today.
Started at 1040 hours and finished at 1240 hours.

Found it today with Mrs Iamapom, Landau351 and Mrs Landau351 having a crack at the Lady Talbot powertrail in my Landrover Defender.
Mrs Iamapom (our excellent power trail driver) decided that she was going to get this one - so despite 3 muggle birdwatchers close by, she made the quick grab. She made the replace just as boldly.
Signed the log leaning on the side of the Defender.
There must have been some interesting birds spotted in the area as there were many twitchers around.
Due to muggle presence and Mrs Iamapom's teriibly bold moves, we checked this one on the way back down, and all was well.

On our way back from The Beeches, caching LT Drive in reverse order. Oh no, the viewing deck was full of people. Luckily they were just heading off. Easy find for the grown ups, so let the geokids think through the clue. Like it!
A lovely walk down to view the Cascades though we had to duck under a fallen tree that was across the path.
Some nice photos taken along the way. Watch out for stinging nettles across the path. One of the geodaughters in her haste to run up the steps, caught some with her leg and they caused quite a bit of discomfort. Luckily we had some Stingos.

Found with Crazy! Nat Girl on our day out caching around Marysville, this was the Ninetenth in the series for us. Another great spot you have brought us to, we met up with Biggles Bear again at this cache, we had a chat as we had to wait for a Muggle to depart before retrieving the cache. TFTC
Found 12:55, we'd bypassed this one on the trip out as there was a family picnicking at GZ on our first visit. This time the cache was easily found and once again we met up with Rebel Acts and Crazy! Nat Girl.

After all the Fathers day formalities were finished this morning we left our camp near Narbethong with Grim Jeeper, The Barlow Clan, and Big Red Car. The convey was back on the road hoping to pick up the remaining caches on the Lady Talbot Trail. This was the 4th cache of the day and the 3rd of last 4 caches in this series. This was another great hide right where the GPSr said it should be. The Barlow Clan came up with good here and again we all added our names to the log. We all agreed this was a great a great spot to take in the views through trees with foliage for a change. The glimpses of the river looked fantastic and the walk would have been good for us but we decided to drive to the last one instead.

out grabbing this series this afternoon with ollave. After parking for this one and admiring the cascades below, my GPSr was pointing at a suitable hide for a micro and ollave went a bit left to start with before agreeing, hunting and finding fairly quickly. Thanks to datruk for this one
At first we skipped this one as there were picknickers just feet away from GZ. Came back 15 minutes later and they had gone for a walk, so we quickly grabbed and signed and put back. great hints for this whole series! TFTC
