Getting too dark and stormy so had to abandon this one unfortunately. Hopefully I get a chance to revisit again one day!
Clue didn't quite fit what I was thinking but got there eventually. Cache was within 100m of our motel so had to grab it. Tftc
Had a quick soccer game at the complex. Rode over to the cache on the way back home. Pretty easy to find and no muggles to be seen
Staying nearby for the weekend with a bunch of muggles, which makes it tricky when I try to explain why I want to stop and look more closely at the flora & fauna while we’re walking towards the cafe for dinner. Thankfully a nice easy find, so didn’t have to persuade them to wait too long for me. TFTC
Out walking today and spotted this one very quickly. Didn't have writing implement so couldn't write in it. Lovely area to explore. TFTC.
We are up from Hamilton for a week, staying on the top of the hill just near here. The little shortcut was busy, so we took the cache with us as we strolled along the waterfront, replacing it on the way back when no one was around. We soon realised all the action was the local school children gathering for their school production in the sports complex. We even saw the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland!
Visiting the Bay with tikitour and Dodge1923, we were walking this way and stopped for the search. Took a lot longer than it needed to be....we overlooked it (we blame the leaves) and almost gave up when Mr. tikitour asked "is this what you are looking for?" Log was soaked, moldy and torn, we replaced it with a new one. Thanks for the cache.
Tricky little find but got there in 5 or 10 min. Log is wet and difficult to sign, could use replacement. TFTC
Found it. Our second geocache. But log book was too wet to write on. Much fun.
Been out from Tuts today hauling in the kingfish and pukas. Stopped off on the way back to have another look for this one and was glad to avenge December's DNF today. Certainly helps to look at the right tree.....!! TFTC
This was a challenge to find for our school holiday fun. Thanks for setting it up!
We didn't find the cache, but now it appears that the hint is outdated: we looked at chest height (nothing there) but should have looked at ground level, according to the maintenance log of the CO. Pity we missed that. Perhaps the hint should be updated?
We were surging for this cache when a man walking by asked us if we are geocaching. Couse if you are the cache is no longer there. A view kids took it away. We couldn't find it that is the reason, it is gone. CO I hope you will replace a new one. TFTC

Headed out to do some caching and decided to do the tutakaka coast, only got as far as wellingtons bay before to many DNFs made us consider finishing the rest another day. Another egg not found
Found most of "eggs" a while back. Got the chance today to add this, my favourite breakfast to the list. TFTC
Nice quick easy find although I'm not sure at whose chest height the cache is... Was more head height for me! TFTC.
This is my brothers favourite type of egg. I love eggs just about anyway. The only egg dish I have disliked was eggnog which we had to make AND drink in cooking classes at school. The teacher was watching me and I didn't manage to tip it down the sink Thanks for this series of caches in this beautiful area
Found easily - placed log back inside bag. Not sure about the inner/outer instructions. In good shape.
Thanks for this nice and easy find. My first after a long break. Ngunguru is lovely place, my first visit out here. I left my counting number 123 TFTC
I think I dnfed this a few years ago. Good to get a smiley today. Thanks.
Cruising around Whangarei, and its environs. A lovely fine day to be away from work!
Thanks for effort put your hides.

Checked up on this one today. It seems that it has fallen out again!
Replaced in a branch that shouldn't be able to get stood on or easily found by a muggle, but then again...

Came up for a wedding and had to kill an hour before I could check in at the motel. Since this was just about straight across the road, I wandered over here for a look. Walked past at first with the phone not getting nearer than 15m but on the second pass, having waited for some muggles to go past, I walked straight up to it to make the find. TFTC!!!
Stopped by on the way back, this tree is hard to hide an egg on so its just a tube on a wire.
I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

I hadn't realised that the position had changed twice... Whopps, when replacing I put it back in the tree where I had originally found it. Sorry Kanoeboy.

DNF. We all had a thorough look spreading our search out +/- 15 metres. No sign of the cache or anything that resembles the clues/log update. It may have already been muggled!?!
Replaced, chest height hole, please try to replace this as carefully as you can as not to be spotted. Leave the large container attached and remove the smaller one from inside.

Found the log sheet floating, took photo and sent to owner, needs replacing

A quick find here on our way through to Mangawhai. Abit of a scramble around and cache was in hand, just before muggles walked through. Nice quiet location, TFTC!
Yay! After a scramble and quick poach around, we finally managed to lay our hands on the last egg, thanks for an eggcellent series, found with Yeetrees at a nice spot.
Just stayed in Motel seen this one close and thought it would be rude not to find. Had walk along waters edge before we head on our journey around New Zealand. TFTC.
High tide the first time and jandles prob not the easiest thing. Second attempt was better. TFTC =)
In Whangarei again for the weekend to attend a function and add some more smilie faces to our Northland map.
Lots of muggles back and forth. Mrs S was watching a large stick floating down the river and Mr S was looking very hard for the cache and trying not to fall in but his eyes were painted on because he gave up and said to Mrs S, " well you have a look " and yes you guessed it, she put her hand right on it. GRGRGRGRGRGR.
Meanwhile the big stick had stopped floating down the river and was floating back up the river. What?. In the short space of time we were there the tide had turned.
Another egg in the basket.
Thanks Flowernz. One more egg to go.
