Found on an early morning walk, removed for the owner as it's been archived for a while now.
Time to let this one go, thanks to all that found it. The container will be picked up in due course.

Found at 10:23 AM GAFF1.
Also - a lot of these caches have log books that are full, wet or in tatters. Not a very nice presentation to visiting cachers.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR.

Spent the day in Tumut, to do some caching.
We found a variety of hides, and good size containers.
A nice easy find here. Signed, and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, TEAM DENMAR, for us and others to find.

How unusual to find a Weir cache that is not one of TankEngine's Weird Weir series. A fine looking weir it is too, very deserving of a geocache. Drove a little past it, but parked and walked back. TFTC TEAM DENMAR
There was a small group of "us" heading off to meet more of "us" in Tumut for the weekend. Our merry band of misfits was made up of MTrax, Tankengine, Joolay, Aquilus1 and myself. In the car we all thought of a name that we could call our gang, but in the end we decided it was a Canberra Invasion Trip that we were on so just went with CBR5. We signed logs either indiviually or with the group name.
It was an awesome weekend all up, with lots of fun with friends. We cached all day then met up with the rest of the Invasion Team for dinner Saturday night, then cached some more on Sunday until it was time to head home.
**The Cache** What another one! And even prettier than the last one!! Another weir we HAD to explore a little more. The plants growing IN UNDER the water looked magical. The cache was found all fine then we explored the weir and took a few photos before heading further up the road. Nice spot! Tftc TEAM DENMAR!!!

Found with CBR5-DTY73, Tankengine, MTrax and Aquilus1 on a caching trip to Tumut. Having a great day, lots of fun. Unless otherwise stated cache found in good condition.
A canberra caching invasion of Tumut this weekend, saw dty73, Tankengine, Mtrax, Joolay and myself stopping for this cache. Logs signed our caching team name, CBR5.
Another nice little weir, this one a little bigger than the last. Nice little spot with the water trickling through, great area through here. Thanks for the cache!

What a fabulous morning this turned out to be. It had rained most of the night and there were still showers around, so I wasn't overly enthusiastic about going out as I hate getting caches and logs wet. But Pa was still prepared to be my chauffeur, so off we went. Up to Tumut Tower, what a great little drive that was and back down to start on the trip I had planned using Cachetur.no, that involved the caches on the way to and around the northern end of Blowering Dam.
All that I intended to go for today were found and logs signed. My apologies to COs for not adding individual notes, as Pa is a friendly but often impatient muggle, so time was precious. However many logs are either damp or full, making them difficult to sign in any kind of order. Maybe we should have warned COs that this area is being "Invaded" by a mob from Canberra and Goulburn this weekend.
The weather was particularly kind, as when we parked up at the gates to walk out to Old Gum the rain stopped completely and it hasn't started again at 15:18 when I am composing this . Looks good for the weekend.
A huge thanks to all the COs for these caches. I had a ball!

A day of caching around Tumut. Up at 6 am and headed out to Blowering Dam. TFTC.
TFTC,
We decided to have a couple of nights in Tumut.
We cached our way out to the Dam this morning and are logging our finds before attempting any more.
Visited trackables.

Another quick find today on our drive arpund the Dam. Signed log and replaced. Thanks to Team Denmar.
checked cache was in it's hide spot.a few small pebbles have to be moved to find it.
A last minute plan swung into action so StrangeTrousers, mtrax and myself were off to Tumut for a Sunday geomission. We managed to nab a decent number of caches before heading back a little earlier than planned as mtrax was felling quite unwell. It was still an all round enjoyable day and we plan to make a return attack!
Nope no joy for us here. Either the cache has moved further in way out of reach or an animal has ejected it out.
Thanks anyway, TEAM DENMAR

Out for a hastily planned trip out to Tumut with mtrax and SpecimenX. Oddly, neither of them have done a lot of caching out there and I had done none, so there were plenty of common caches to find. I really enjoyed the trip out there via Wee Jasper. The winding roads and amazing scenery made for a pleasant journey ... for most of us. I was a bit concerned about the predicted high winds, but they did not eventuate and on the whole it was as good as it gets for a winter's day in the mountains. In the end, we had to cut the trip a little short as mtrax was not feeling too good, but still a good day's haul & plans for a return are already in the pipeline. Thanks to my companions today, it's always great to get out of town and do some exploring with good company.
Didn't find this one. The likely place left us with a hollow feeling. I did enjoy the little weir though. Attachning a pic.
Thanks anyway TEAM DENMAR

This could have been washed away?
Not sure but there was no sign of the cache at GZ and I had a good look. I assume it is meant to be fairly obvious so not sure how we missed it.
Oh well ill watch the next logs out of curiosity!

This was a little bit exposed and that made the find very easy. We covered it better to make it a bit more of a challenge for the next finder. TFTC TEAM DENMAR.
Juno and I were in the area for the June Long Weekend hunting for a few very unloved caches. With the goal completed, we then decided to grab some other local finds.
Another very interesting lcoation on the way up to the Dam.
Cheers

Today was the first full day of our caching adventure with Rapidlywild in Tumut. I have never really been to Tumut before and was quite surprised by the size and the beauty of the place. Lovely water ways that were crystal clear. Just a lovely place to drive around and explore.
Nice little weir here and quick find before moving right along.

After arriving into Tumut last night, we got up this morning with intentions to get as many finds as possible. We seen some wonderful scenery today, and loved the running waters around Tumut.
Very cute little weir here Glad we didnt need to use the ladies room before coming here otherwise it could have become awkward lol

On a trip to Tumut for a day of geocaching with Indianagleeson. This is a cool little spot. There is a family of quite large lizards basking on the rocks as well. The cache was a quick find. Tftc.
Stumbled on Lizard city here, pretty spot Tftc

I parked my car and set out for a walk around the area caching. I walked about ten kms, along roads and up a steep track to the dam. I found ten caches on my walk and more later in the car. Easy find. Nice sound of trickling water. Lid is cracked and needs replacement. I would have replaced it, but my spare cache was several kms away in my car. TFTC TEAM DENMAR.
Day nine of our High Country holiday. Another sunny day at Tumut with Bettyboo3747
Got out the deadly treadlies for a relative early morning ride along the river and wetlands.(again!)
We then travelled down to the dam wall at Blowering for some caches.
Then back for a dip in the creek - must be beer O'clock!.
A nice little weir here with a good flow of very clear water.
BB found the cache as I was admiring the weir.
The container has a cracked lid and has considerable water inside - log was fine though.
We drained it and dried it, but it really needs replacement.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 9985. After riding around the bike track and the wetlands this morning and quite a late breakfast and start to the day we decided to go out towards Blowering Reservoir for some sight-seeing and caching along the way. Managed 19 finds and the usual few DNF's (this time it was 2). Finished off the day with our swim in the river at the Caravan Park. Most enjoyable.
The water was trickling nicely through the narrow gap here. Very nice. A quick find of the container but the lid is broken and the container needs replacing. The log sheet is OK at this stage though.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR

Quick stop at the small weir. There was a obvious spot to look but it was in another obvious spot. Left a penguin tb, it's not salty but at least it near some h2o. Thanks for placing.
Riding the bike up the hill, I had to make another stop !!
What a great little location, hidden from the motorists who drive past without realising
The little 'waterfall' looks crystal clear
A handy spot to fill a waterbottle !!
I just filled up on another cache find

What a great day of exploring and we so enjoy visiting areas we have not been to before. Nice cache and beautiful countryside. Thanks to TEAM DENMAR for placing this cache.
Found on our Tumut trip. On the way out of the dam area, we quickly stopped on the side of the road, while making sure that we were in a safe location. Then we took a short walk to GZ where the cache was quickly found. Then to sign the log, we sat at the lovely looking weir, surrounded by beautiful vegetation. TFTC TEAM DENMAR!
3614 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1305 on our fortnightly district tours. We decided to grab this on the way back towards the pump station. Easy find and in good condition SL Tnx TEAM DENMAR
Interesting stop while in the area.
No troubles making the grab.
Thanks again TEAM DENMAR.

It was raining cats and dogs therefore we only visited some caches direclty along the street or in a short walking distance. A further fast stop at this one.
Another fine place to have been too, One of many while out and about with Mick_d

An intriguing place to visit, why did hydrologists want to determine how much water runs down this gulley? The measuring equipment is a bit surprising as I would have expected some remote sensing equipment rather than the basic resources evident especiallly when linked to the rather solid little weir. The cache was an easy to find and almost an afterthought as to why I was brought here. This is geocaching at its best, taking visitors to quirky places mostly overlooked. Thanks Team Denmar.
This is our last day in Tumut so have decided to explore the Blowering Dam region.
