Time to let this one go, thanks to all that found it. The container will be picked up in due course.

Found at 10:18 AM GAFF1 at a distance of 12 metres
So many of these caches have co-ords that are out by over 10 metres which for a 1.5/1.5 makes it frustrating to find.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR.

Cache found without any issues. Thanks heaps for the find, all looks to be in good working order.
Spent the day in Tumut, to do some caching.
We found a variety of hides, and good size containers.
Cache found in the most obvious spot.
Many thanks for placing this cache, TEAM DENMAR, for us and others to find.

Sweet little steps leading down to a tiny little weir... very nice. We certainly enjoyed our drive around and about, before heading into Tumut for lunch, and then to return home to CBR via the Brindabella Rd. TFTC TEAM DENMAR
There was a small group of "us" heading off to meet more of "us" in Tumut for the weekend. Our merry band of misfits was made up of MTrax, Tankengine, Joolay, Aquilus1 and myself. In the car we all thought of a name that we could call our gang, but in the end we decided it was a Canberra Invasion Trip that we were on so just went with CBR5. We signed logs either indiviually or with the group name.
It was an awesome weekend all up, with lots of fun with friends. We cached all day then met up with the rest of the Invasion Team for dinner Saturday night, then cached some more on Sunday until it was time to head home.
**The Cache** It is a really nice drive around here. This GZ was very cool to look at. The cache was found all good and we admired the tiny weir before heading off to the next one. Tftc TEAM DENMAR!!!

Found with CBR5-DTY73, Tankengine, MTrax and Aquilus1 on a caching trip to Tumut. Having a great day, lots of fun. Unless otherwise stated cache found in good condition.
A canberra caching invasion of Tumut this weekend, saw dty73, Tankengine, Mtrax, Joolay and myself stopping for this cache. Logs signed our caching team name, CBR5.
A lovely area and nice drive around, all out to look and the little weir was not un noticedand did get our attention here! Thanks for the cache!

What a fabulous morning this turned out to be. It had rained most of the night and there were still showers around, so I wasn't overly enthusiastic about going out as I hate getting caches and logs wet. But Pa was still prepared to be my chauffeur, so off we went. Up to Tumut Tower, what a great little drive that was and back down to start on the trip I had planned using Cachetur.no, that involved the caches on the way to and around the northern end of Blowering Dam.
All that I intended to go for today were found and logs signed. My apologies to COs for not adding individual notes, as Pa is a friendly but often impatient muggle, so time was precious. However many logs are either damp or full, making them difficult to sign in any kind of order. Maybe we should have warned COs that this area is being "Invaded" by a mob from Canberra and Goulburn this weekend.
The weather was particularly kind, as when we parked up at the gates to walk out to Old Gum the rain stopped completely and it hasn't started again at 15:18 when I am composing this . Looks good for the weekend.
A huge thanks to all the COs for these caches. I had a ball!

A little spot to pull off on the way up to the top.
Rather smoky here today.
Great Smokey views though.

We were on our way back to Tumut after a lovely day out at the Yarrangobilly caves up in the national park. The day was wearing on, but I decided to have a quick look at the dam down this road, only to discover that it's another part of the hydroelectric scheme. Nice to see all that.
We pulled over near GZ and my little son came along to see whether he could help find the cache. First we descended and had a look at the pipe. What an interesting discovery we made there: there is a V-notch plate across the pipe. It's been close on 25 years since I last encountered such a device for measuring the rate of flow of water. I actually used one back then to determine where all the water on a mine was going or being consumed. This one was a bit more refined than the one I had used back then because it also had a tube on it for reading off more accurately the height of the water in the notch. I did my best to explain all this to my little son, though I think it will be some time before he appreciates the finer points.
Not to worry; his real excitement was triggered when he spotted the cache and I could retrieve it for us to have a look at the contents and log. My name went along with the other cachers' names that have come before me. Then it was time to go and have a look at the actual dam wall in the fading light before heading back into town.

#3347 A lovely spot and taking care where we stepped, the cache was spotted where we suspected it would be. Now that's rare! Thanks again TEAM DENMAR.
The name pretty well game the game away, no need to read the hint at this one. TFTC.
A day of caching around Tumut. Up at 6 am and headed out to Blowering Dam. TFTC.
TFTC,
Got it.
We decided to have a couple of nights in Tumut.
We cached our way out to the Dam this morning and are logging our finds before attempting any more.
Visited trackables.

A last minute plan swung into action so StrangeTrousers, mtrax and myself were off to Tumut for a Sunday geomission. We managed to nab a decent number of caches before heading back a little earlier than planned as mtrax was felling quite unwell. It was still an all round enjoyable day and we plan to make a return attack!
Fun to have a play on the ladder. Quick find!
Thanks for the hide, TEAM DENMAR!

A Sunday road trip to Tumut from Canberra, along with Strange trousers and SpecimenX, a brilliant day for caching I had a rough trip over via Wee Jasper, but what caches I did visit I enjoyed, managed a few during the day but plenty more for a return trip.
thanks TEAM DENMAR

#3264 27 of 32 today.
Out for a hastily planned trip out to Tumut with mtrax and SpecimenX. Oddly, neither of them have done a lot of caching out there and I had done none, so there were plenty of common caches to find. I really enjoyed the trip out there via Wee Jasper. The winding roads and amazing scenery made for a pleasant journey ... for most of us. I was a bit concerned about the predicted high winds, but they did not eventuate and on the whole it was as good as it gets for a winter's day in the mountains. In the end, we had to cut the trip a little short as mtrax was not feeling too good, but still a good day's haul & plans for a return are already in the pipeline. Thanks to my companions today, it's always great to get out of town and do some exploring with good company.
Great spot.

After reading the title of the cache and pulling up to GZ I decided to leave my GPS device in the car as I was confident I knew where it would be! Surely enough, it really was in the place you expect it
Thanks for another cache TEAM DENMAR!

Juno and I were in the area for the June Long Weekend hunting for a few very unloved caches. With the goal completed, we then decided to grab some other local finds.
Very interesting little location.
Cheers

Today was the first full day of our caching adventure with Rapidlywild in Tumut. I have never really been to Tumut before and was quite surprised by the size and the beauty of the place. Lovely water ways that were crystal clear. Just a lovely place to drive around and explore.
No problems with this one, signed duties performed then on our way.

After arriving into Tumut last night, we got up this morning with intentions to get as many finds as possible. We seen some wonderful scenery today, and loved the running waters around Tumut.
No issues locating this one today.

On a trip to Tumut for a day of geocaching with Indianagleeson. A quick find in the likely spot. What a lovely little stream. Tftc.
I parked my car and set out for a walk around the area caching. I walked about ten kms, along roads and up a steep track to the dam. I found ten caches on my walk and more later in the car. A place to sit and sign the log. Nice. TFTC TEAM DENMAR.
Day nine of our High Country holiday. Another sunny day at Tumut with Bettyboo3747
Got out the deadly treadlies for a relative early morning ride along the river and wetlands.(again!)
We then travelled down to the dam wall at Blowering for some caches.
Then back for a dip in the creek - must be beer O'clock!.
We did mind our step, and our careful use of the equipment lead to our discover of the cache in short time.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 9984. After riding around the bike track and the wetlands this morning and quite a late breakfast and start to the day we decided to go out towards Blowering Reservoir for some sight-seeing and caching along the way. Managed 19 finds and the usual few DNF's (this time it was 2). Finished off the day with our swim in the river at the Caravan Park. Most enjoyable.
A nice little hide here. Added our names. The magnet has come adrift from the holder - strong magnets these, but still holds the container in place.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR

Initially had me elsewhere but sense prevailed and it was an easy find. Not much flow today.
10:26 HRS
Once we spotted the correct object it was a quick find.
Interesting water flow gauges around here.
Thanks.

You know where it would be but is best to leave it for the kids to find. Loved this one
On a sunny Tumut day, the geomobile was out of action !! [:o]
So while it got a heart transplant, I went for a bike ride around towne
Only, I got a bit side tracked while riding out of towne and forgot to turn around and ended up at the dam
The numerous caching carrots just kept drawing me towards them
Now I was here, I was enjoying the crunch of each tasty cache
This was a fun find.
Not that you would get much exercise running up and down these steps !!
But the cache was a good hide [^]

What a great day of exploring and we so enjoy visiting areas we have not been to before. Nice cache and beautiful countryside. Thanks to TEAM DENMAR for placing this cache.
Found on our Tumut trip. We certainally did mind our step - we didn't want to fall down there. Once we parked nicely off the road, it was a quick find at GZ in a really cool position. Nice hide and a nice structure here as well. The surrounding area makes it much better. TFTC TEAM DENMAR!
Thank you team Denmar. We would never have taken this route if not for your caches! It's been interesting.
Saw the cache hide location on the way up to the dam wall but missed it on way back and had to reverse up the road. Nice hiding spot too.
Glad we didn't try to walk here from the dam - we are too old! Glad we didn't drop it. TFTC
And another interesting measurement site.
Quick grab and sign while sitting on top.
Thanks for the cache TEAM DENMAR.

It was raining cats and dogs therefore we only visited some caches direclty along the street or in a short walking distance. The hint was very significant and we have found the container fast.
I couldn't work why the cache was on the road and fortunately it is just off it and on this bit of equipment. Hydologists must visit here but why unless they are measuring the flow off the hillside. A unique little structure worth exploring even in the company of determined march flies. Thanks Team Denmar for the cache.
This is our last day in Tumut so have decided to explore the Blowering Dam region.
