Thankyou for bringing me here. A 400m walk and an easy sighting of another piece of art. A spider that was using the cache as shelter gave me fright. Looking forward to exploring this area further. TFTC.
We had a plan today to pick up as many well favourited caches as possible and if they included Wingaap placed caches then all the better. So off to the Crown at Dayboro and work our way home. We also were on a secret mission which should be successful.A really peaceful walk along a riding track led to this well executed cache. The log book was perfectly with many blans space for players to complete. Thanks for the cache.
Unable to maintain.
Ive adopted out other caches only to have them flicked on to someone else.
Archiving rather than burdening others.

My position bounced about a lot but a little tenacity and it was found. A great ride out from Ferny Grove yesterday to the tunnel but i forgot to geocache, doh! So after camping at the scout park i returned today. No quail family in the dell this time but i came earlier yesterday.

Got a little bit confused which track we should take as the compass was playing havoc on our direction. But once we tackled a neat trail it wasn't long until we found another beautiful construction from this very talented CO.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here wingaap. A crawling guardian frightened smallwombat here.

When we parked up here in the cul de sac I did scratch my head at first as to where we were going..
I then saw the path leading up and away and pondered where the other path led as we wandered down the lower one.
A great short walk and we soon came across the cute hide.
A spider scared the bejesus outta me and then I tossed the cache over to be signed.
Thanks wingaap for the well thought out hide in a well considered location.

A beautiful walk into GZ along a lovely track. There were a few people on this Trail on this lovely Sunday afternoon. Families and puppies seem to be enjoying the day together.
All was quiet at GZ when we made the find, and we chuckled at the beautiful camouflage of the container.
Thanks wingaap for so many lovely finds we have had today!

Watch out for horses!! It’s a riding trail for the local area.what a beautiful area.
This evening, and seeing a few new geocaches published, I decided to head towards Yugar as another excuse to visit that area. During my drive, I did notice that my target cache had already been visited, but nevertheless, I thought I would continue my drive and explore the area with a few more finds. A variety of park and grabs, and night walks, and once my stomach started to grumble for dinner, I decided to return home for the evening.
I parked from a nearby side street and didn't realise the full road access, so all in all, it was probably close to a 500-550 m walk in the dark, which I didn't mind too much (although a MTB would have been useful in getting to GZ). I arrived, and although I didn't find any tacks that were supposed to point out the tree in question, it didn't take long to find the geocache. I do always love this CO’s hides, and this was another example of great construction and a nice inner cache attachment mechanism. Nice one! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks wingaap for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I enjoyed a plasant stroll down the old railway line to GZ where I immediately spotted something suspicious. Thanks for the cache
Decided to walk down to this one from the nearby cache. This walking track/ex-railway line appeared as a road on our maps (perhaps it is accessible by vehicle from the southern end?) The short walk however was quite nice and greatly appreciated, as was the easy find.

Lovely afternoon walk on new years day. We really appreciate the effort that has gone into all your caches.
Out for a drive and happy to see a wingaap cache pop up on the radar. Grand Central in Samford today but all quite here and we enjoyed a pleasant walk along the old rail line (in a well kept condition). Popped over the edge to grab the cache (and admire the possums) and then continued along to peer into the tunnel. Greetings to the CO - hope you are doing well.
First find on a chilly Tuesday morning... quick find of the well crafted cache after a very peaceful, if somewhat cold, walk in...
Made my mark, left some American coin and Schokofrettchen’s Erster (revamped) Tb to carry on... oh a fave point...

This was our first Wingaap cache which we found while having an afternoon of caching fun Hallysgirl. We parked above the tunnel and walked down the track from McDowalls Rd. After spending some time at the tunnel entrance we followed the old train line down to this spot. Quick find at gz. What a piece of work this one is. We have heard that Wingaap does something a bit special with his caches and this one did not disappoint. I look forward to finding the many hides he has put around the place. Great spot. Great history. The start of a great afternoon.
Always up for a great walk especially if it is flat when we have Ma and Pa Kettle with us. Today we were out celebrating Chikinlittler's birthday and grabbing some caches around Samford. It was such a pleasant and peaceful walk in this area. We found the cache and how cute is this one!! Thank you for the great hide. Love possums and we have about 8 each night that come and visit; all with names and all love cuddles and pats. They are much like cats! We carried on beyond the cache to check out the tunnel. Well worth the explore. Hope the bats enjoy their little secret hideout. We have land up the Sunshine Coast that has a bat cave on it which is full of micro bats of some description. Thanks for placing this cache and letting us know this piece of history was there. Very enjoyable and added to our fantastic day out.
Hadn't planned on going this far north of Samford this morning but it was a wingaap cache so there was no question about it! We enjoyed our walk along the broad gravel pathway, soaking up the tranquil atmosphere and before we knew it we were at GZ where we found a lovely little fellow waiting for us to sign the log. Thanks wingaap.
Perfect day for a great walk to this beautiful cache. Cache was found safe and dry. Thanks for the cache and the history lesson wingaap.
Quick find first one of the day on a beautiful day for a caching trip. Accurate co-ords and description. Tftc
Out with my designated plus one oz_bean_counter after an early start for a couple of little hikes in our 'region'. We liked the look of this one for it's placement on the map, and only later realised who the CO is - which would have put it on our hit-list anyway. So a double bonus.
Actually, a triple bonus since we were accosted by a friendly, very excited and energetic chocolate Collie who just loved fresh humans to be joyful with. Guaranteed to brighten any day, any mood (and we were pretty happy to start with). And while I love a friendly dog and go out of my way to score a pat .... I was surely out-enthused by obc. After a little while dog-owner and I prized her away from him, and re-focused her attention on walking this lovely trail. It took a moment.
After our short enjoyable stroll we spread out to find the wildlife, and a couple of lovely possums graciously loaned us a cache container to sign. They were very nice about it. A FP for all aspects of this adventure today.
Thanks wingaap for entertaining me at this location.

Fourth cache of quite an epic day out caching with PPrime, socially distant of course. Covered 25,000 steps and a few hours of sunshine, exercise and good company.
A lovely walk from the parking coordinates to GZ, passing by a beautiful chocolate and white border collie who just LOVES pats. Yes!!!! The only thing better than a long walk with a good cache, is a long walk with a good cache and a gorgeous dog. Right, back to business. I didn't realise this was a Wingaap cache until I was almost at GZ, and I started to get excited. Your caches never cease to amaze me with their creativity and engineering. This one was no different .
Quick find once at GZ, and I took a moment to flick through what turned out to be the original log. Thanks for placing this cache, luring me to such a beautiful spot! Cache and log are in great condition. TB visit while I am here.

Found on the 10/4/20. Was a great find but is off the path a bit. We even scared some muggles walking past us!
3rd find for the day. Well, 3 in an hour
Scared the bajeebus out of some muggles as they walked past above us. Sorry muggs!

I have no idea why I have not grabbed this cache before. I recall coming here and parking in the road a few years back, fairly early on in my caching days, and I'm certain it was because I had done the bats cache at the other end of the rail trail, and possibly came here to find the tunnel at this end maybe? But for some very odd reason, I never wandered very far at all down this trail, and nor did I get this cache.
So today, Wombles&Co and I decided to end Wacky Wednesday here, parking the car and beginning our short trek. It wasn't long before we found the cute cache, and signed the log.
Unfortunately we had to take off straight away afterwards, as we needed to both get back to our local schools by 3pm for pickup time, but I've vowed to come back here sometime and actually trek along the whole trail and enjoy what I discover along the way!
Thanks for the cache wingaap.

Beautiful walk! Spent 20 mins scrabbling in the lantana before we realised we were looking on the wrong side of the path
On my way out to mount Samson to collect a few caches today before the predicted poor weather arrives tomorrow. Another beautiful day in seq.
Found signed and returned safely.

Out picking up a caches today that can be added to my 15years no love collection. Beautiful walking track and a creative cache that's a favorite point from me TFTC.
Lovely walk along track.......thanks for bringing us here. Wouldn't have found it without caching. Could become a favourite family dog walk. Cache tucked up tight just where we expected.
Last one for the day and what a great one to finish on! Spectacular walk and another great cache creation - FP from me
We spent the afternoon exploring Closeburn, Cedar Creek and Yugar looking for geo's along the way. This was a nice easy find. TFTC
Caching on my own today (rest of Team Nelta at work and school) finding smilies between Samford and Mt Samson. Glad I looked this up on google maps before heading out today as I wouldn't have taken the path otherwise: long grass and I dreamt about snakes last night. No need to worry as the grass didn't last long and the rest of the way was a lovely shady bush path. Walked right past GZ due to neurotically looking for snakes, back tracked and spotted likely location. Quick cautious wander off path and spotted something cute. Took cache back to higher ground for signing, left a pink sparkly frog.
Cache all good. TFTC wingaap - another lovely creation.

We decided it was time to clean up a few random caches that were leaving green smudges on our map.
This is the beginning ... LOL
After a false start (& ending up in a very disgruntled local's driveway) we finally found the best place to leave the Geo-Beast.
Couldn't find any 'steps' as such but there are definitely two paths to get you where you need to be.
Checked out the tunnel (but couldn't see any bats?) & took a few happy snaps before legging it 425 metres to GZ where a quick find was made.
No muddy spots, no creek crossings just a quick grab!
Made our mark & replaced as found then quick-stepped back out & up to our waiting transportation.

I have had my eye on the Catweazel series since our first encounter with two of them back in January '15. Today seemed like a good day to go caching, despite the somewhat inclement weather. We invited GT64s to join us. All up we found 26 caches while traveling the circuit.
We pulled up at the end of the road, but then decided it would be better to go have lunch and perform some physical "relief and drainage" of another kind before tackling this cache. Some young tourists were parked here upon our return. In conversation they warned us that we would need "Wellies" to cross the raging stream - it is waist high!.
Undeterred (what ever stops a real cacher!) we ventured along the old rail trail. Love these walks. Then we came across the "raging stream". It took two steps to cross: my companions got two wet feet (up to the ankles) but I managed only one wet foot. Ha!
We found the cache without too much trouble, but we couldn't see a geocaching pin anywhere though.
Now to scurry back to the Geomobile - it is finally starting to rain -gone is our early morning sunshine and the expected storm is close by.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 1.50pm on 10th September 2016. TFTC

This one was our longest walk for the day ,and as it had started raining already we made a quick dash through the raging stream to make a quick find , love the container , so now with the showers becoming steady and sounds of thunder ,we returned to the car minus MrGT54 phone , oh well wet feet again ,thanks for the cache and the walk
Beautiful discovery right in our backyard and a wonderfully made cache, easily found!
A nice early morning walk with the geodog today. A pretty little trail along here too. My GPS had me on both sides as I approached GZ so I checked out one tree and turned to check the other. Ah there it is. TFTC wingaap
We were visiting Samford today for the Australia day celebrations.
We'd had a enjoyable morning and had had quite a bit to eat so what better way to walk it off than with a stroll through the bush.
This one was on our way home so we detoured by.
We've walked along this track from the other end so once this one is completed we should have just about done this whole little section.
All was good and we enjoyed the walk. At GZ it didn't take us long before we found the very cool cache container.
Thanks Wingaap for another great cache.

Lovely walk! Think the pin is MIA so had to focus on other clues. Saw a brown snake ( no surprises for this are) so be alert. TFTC!
Should have read the description correctly and used Currajong Rd south. Found 8 legged minder on the container!! TFTC
Lovely country stroll past horses in their winter coats. Easy find. Thanks wingy!
Quite a bit of gps bounce here had me concentrating on the wrong tree. I went back out to the path to see if I could see the tree with the pin but instead of a pin I saw a red triangle slug nestled in a hole. Back in for another search and this time I looked at the right tree and there was the cache right in front of me.
Red Triangle slug note: I saw one of these on my back deck about 3 years ago and googled it to see what the heck it was as the red triangle is so distinctive. They are the largest native land slug in Australia and can grow up to 15cms in length! Apparently they are very common around Brisbane. That said, in the 14 years I've lived in Brisbane this is only the second one I've ever seen.

Enjoyed the wander along this trail, imagining what it was once like to have trains chuffing through here. Good to see the track preserved as somewhat of a wildlife corridor. Nice to get out if the car for longer than just a park n grab, and really stretch the legs Quick find at GZ, the geotrail was a giveaway. All good here, TFTC
I had checked this cache before leaving home and had decided on the easiest way to access it. I parked the car and found the access point to the old railway easement. It must be regularly used and maintained as it was not overgrown at all. I enjoyed the walk to the cache under the shade of the trees. Once at GZ, I looked, but didnt spot the geopin mentioned in the description. Didnt matter though, as I spotted the cache quite easily. I found my was down the little slope and signed the log. I enjoyed the walk back to the car too
Although I took the B-grade track down, the very pleasant walk along the straight made up for it. I liked everything about this area in the cool of the late afternoon from the sweet aromas to the serenity of the lack of city noise. The little possums were just where I wanted them and all was in fine shape. TFTC WingAAP, enjoyed the stroll.
Found on a hot, hot day.
Glad for the shade and easy find.

What a wonderful cache in a gorgeous location. Worthy of my last find for today. Mister Wingaap! Thank you for a wonderful end to today (thankfully starting to cool down at least to a relatively cooler temp of 37c at 4.32pm.. Oh for a storm! This cache also reminded me to bring my bike trail book of SE Qld after driving around a couple of times I realised I was almost on top of it both times! Slowwwww Puncture

BopsyGirl and I were pretending to be fairies, and we put some sticks in my pockets for wands. And magic rocks. We were flying! We were running with our arms apart. I liked the hide, it was very cute! Thank you for the cache!
A dry day today, so the slope leading to the possums was fine under foot. The youngest mooseling was fascinated that the track was an old rail line. tftc wingaap
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 1:46pm. Found the cache once we realised which side of the track we should be. We had a Tractor Mowing Man nearby clearing up a nearby farm so we had to avoid him TFTC
Who's a clever possum? The people who designed this cache, so cute, so nifty and so ingenious. Well done...the use of magnets is very clever. Without the incentive of the geocache we may never have wandered up this abandoned railway track and found the dis-used tunnel and the colony of bent wing bats.....not that they came out to meet us......we could smell they were home without them coming out to greet us! Still a most interesting little stroll in our local backyard. Kuhr Crew
After the tunnel decided to do this one down the track but didn't know who's it was till we spotted it and KAZ and I both said " it's a Wingy"... Hahaha thanks Wingy it's always a pleasure finding your caches..
Our last cache for the day, heading home after this cache. We parked nearby and found a nice easy trail to wander along, luckily not too far or too hard. A nice trail, we were enjoying it and nearly walked straight past the cache. Cache easily spotted and all is good here, cache in good order. Tftc.
We nearly walked right past gz as were enjoying the walk along the track. The mozzies are just getting hungry so it was a quick sign and back to the car!
In the area today and we thought we would find a few caches. It was a lovely walk to find this one, past the old train tunnel. Great cache, a lot of work gone into it. Signed log and returned. TFTC
On our way home and and couldn't resist the opportunity to do this one which had been on our to do list for sometime. Enjoyed the walk and the cache. Thanks heaps.
Found this cache whilst out grabbing a few caches before work with Angela minus Dave. I had spent a few minutes wondering which way would be the best to approach this one from and in the heat of the day Angela and I agreed that approaching from the south along the same ridge line would be the easiest. We parked the car and ignored the sign telling us which way to go and we headed down the path. We were chatting as we walked along the relatively flat track in the shade and before we knew it we only had 20m to go. At 5m we spread out and started looking and Angela and I spotted it about the same time from two different sides. Angela made the grab and we returned to flat ground to sign the log. Once the log was signed we returned the cache as found and headed back to the car. Thanks for the cache Wingaap, another great container.
Being that it was so hot today, Net88 and I decided to approach this one on ground level!
Coming on from the other side, we missed the tunnel and will have to come back again to check out the tunnel!! FTFC

Continuing on with the ride which was organised with Ruzzelz, T-Tech, Ms Maddy, IolantheK, Culture50 + Sue. After having to make the decision on early or late coffee, and the answer turning into late coffee we headed straight through Samford and onwards towards this cache.
I had faced the problem that my GPS downloads had failed and had no Cache Data on any of the cache were visiting, so relied on where the others had stopped and took the initiative to head into the likely place for this cache. I soon spotted a possum or two and retrieved the log book.

Along for the ride: IolantheK, culture50 and Sue [^], Orionj, Ms Maddy [^]
We started out here and collected the odd cache as we followed the old railway track alignment (a nice easy grade).
A couple of the crew had already made the find, but for the rest of us a searching we did go
Orionj made the find, and a "well sculptured" cache it is indeed We all then gathered to sign the log.
The cache is dry and in good condition [^]
