I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi bumandworker
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Not an easy area to search and couldn’t get a good fix. Hope it is still there, evidence of huge flooding around here.
I have searched for this one before with no luck but having read back through all the logs, I wasn't quite where it should have been. So another dig round in the dirt and rubbish but nothing that looked like a cache. So, on behalf of the CO I had a replacement prepared. Dropped that in with a couple of rocks holding it in place. Now to grab that rubbish bag and fill it up with some of the loose stuff round here. CITO time.
Thought I found it but tub turned out to be rubbish . Pretty muddy, will look another time when drier.
A great 2 weeks of travelling the south island it's been amazing great weather only 1 half day if wind and rain nearly 500 caches found over the time incredible views tftc a quick find here I thought I had it sorted by the hint prior to approaching and yes I did but then it was an ahha moment tftc great place and area to explore hope to visit again the Sourh Island soon. No muggles around only traffic zooming by none caring what I was up to tftc signed the log and placed it back exactly where I found it. Quick find here cacher all good
Had to wait for a couple of shifty looking guys to move off. Not quite sure what they were doing. Once they were gone hubby started looking in likely places and eventually found cache very well camouflaged in dried mud on the outside, but all good inside.
Out and about with Jo today and thought we would go to Picton for lunch. First time here for geocaching too so got stuck into it. TFTC all you COs

Found while on a cycle trip from Picton to Chirstchurch, great to combine cycling with my interest in Geocaching, and also have an excuse for a micro break. *TFTC bumandworker, #8500*
#1320 Found this little guy after a look in all the wrong places. Reception is far better at GZ than where I first looked. Thanks for another smilie.
Found this one and a bit of nostalgia as well the person who introduced me to geocaching found this one on his first trip to the beautiful south island ( keitham) TFTC
Thankfully a bit warmer here as it took a few minutes to locate this well hidden cache. TFTC
O Boy!!! what a full on 5 days caching. Driving/Sailing to attend the Christchurch Mega Event with Squirrel Nutcase and also picking up caches on the way to help us complete our Dot Days and Challenges we are currently trying to fulfill. We traveled to so many places that we have never visited before and with 240 plus caches later knew we had an eventful few days.
4.05pm - Our intentions that we would drive to Christchurch tonight but at this rate we might get to Blenheim. Another quick cache to find. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)...
On our way to NZ Mega Christchurch 2015, and caching as we go. We planned to stay close to the main highway and only venture off into the countryside where appropriate... That didn't always work for us. A 4-5 hour journey ended up taking us almost two days; such was the sheer number of caches we encountered along the route.
We are pleased to report that almost all of the caches we stopped for were in place and in good order. Besides a bit of dampness, there was nothing of concern. This is a feat that cache owners in this area of the country can be proud of... We thank you... Thank you for bringing to our attentions areas of significance. We enjoyed discovering scenic areas, historical and social locations, and other personally meaningful spots.
As stated, we found loads of caches... If we were to write an individualised note for each one, we'd never get the logging done. Hence, there will be a lot of cutting and pasting going on... My apologies!!
Marlborough: An important local river crossing now marked with a smiley. TFTC.

With my streak about to end in a couple of days, I don't need to save local caches anymore and can now 'go nuts'... that would have made an appropriate pun on my previous cache. This greeny has been poking its tongue at me for a while now, but not anymore as I'ved turned it into a smiley face.

A couple launching a jet boat nearby delayed our search for this one and after a couple of false starts Kiwimykl soon had the cache in hand. It was good to see Waikawa Bay School appears to have some geocaching teams based on their House colours and a couple of them have got this one.

On the way back from Whites Bay - good time to grab this one too.
Bit of a scramble up the bank - lucky no one around wondering what the heck I was up to?

On the way from Anakiwa to Kaikoura we stopped a few times for the amazing view and seals as well as for some caches. By arriving in Kaikoura there was even enough time for a short caching round in town .
A long trip later from Frankfurt via Dubai, Bangkok and Sydney to Christchurch we finally started our three and a half weeks vacation. We tried to see as much as possible from New Zealands nature and also look for some caches. During the whole trip we could even find more than 100 caches .
We finalized the round trip on our very first day by booking some great walk huts and decided to travel clockwise around the Southern Island. It's hard to say which were the highlights, so I would say the whole vacation is our highlight .
Many thanks to all cache owners for showing us a lot of great places! T4TC!

Whoa..., New Year's Day already. My NY resolution is: start out the way you mean to finish! So, it was bright and early for a start to the day's caching!
Heading south from Picton.
Nice straightforward find once at GZ.
Cache in order, log signed; safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Quick park and grab as we decided it was too wet for a day trip to Picton. Decided on a raid down Rapuara Road instead. Thanks for the hide.
After a little bit of a clamber I soon had the cache in hand. Luckily the long grass was dry. TFTC
[green] Today is my first serious geocaching day down here. Previously I was a raw recruit for the Air Force and only had occasional 3 hours Sunday Town Leave available. Which was on foot, so only 1-3 caches. Now recruit course is over and suddenly I can leave base pretty much any time I want. Yay! So I decided to cycle to Picton. To visit the bakery there, as you do. And cache along the way. As you do.
This was a fairly easy find, although I must admit I was half expecting a fake stone ponce I saw the location. The snail eaten log was interesting. Still plenty of log left, and I see people are leaving the lid on now. Should have taken a photo of it!

I found this one on the way to the ferry. I searched all the likely hidey holes before reading some previous logs. One gave a hint to where I had not searched yet. Tried that spot and found the cache. Thanks for the cache and the smiley.
Da meine Fähre drei Stunden Verspätung hat, hatte ich genügend Zeit auf dem Weg nach Picton zu cachen
Das Wetter erschwerte mir das ganze aber egal....

#2 of the day when going around on a bike. I came from riverside gravel road, so I tried other possible spots at first. When I climbed up to GZ, it was easy find then. Thank you.

The track I took, I wouldnt say it was a 1.5 terrain rating. Then again, I always tend take the hardest way to get to a cache. Tftc
Just picked some cherries at a PYO just before this cache. Such bliss. Quite a scramble for a p&g. PINO TFTC
Find #219 for the BAMMJams - Mr BammJam scrambled up and collected cache. THe mini-BammJams selected a stone to take out of the cache, and we put a dice in. TFTC - chewed log signed.
Heading to Picton with Mrs G - before heading further out into the Marlborough Sounds for a friends wedding. Stopped off along the way. Parked up top on the side of the road & ran down, around, then back up for the quick find and sign. Cheers.
Grabbed this one on our drive to Nelson ... An easy find after a bit of a scramble ... Thanks bumandworker 4TC:)
Last official day of our Mega roadtrip to Auckland. We caught the early morning ferry from Wellington and hit the road straight away. Today was mostly just traveling home with a few unplanned caches thrown in to break the first part of our journey. This was a nice easy find even though we looked under the obvious structure first. It looked like snails or something have been munching on the logbook. (photo added) Thanks for the cache

Wasn't the greatest idea finding this one on the way to work as I ended up with the dust and sediment from some recent flooding all over my clothes and boots. Got the cache though and the rest came off with a good brush and rub so all good. TFTC #5189
Caching after work tonight for the 5th day straight, nice
An easy find which wasn't expected, glad to have gone straight to it

5430. The second day of our geocaching trip. This was find number three for the day. A relatively easy find just off the main road on our way to catch the ferry. Found a wallet on the roadside and texted the owner and arranged for pickup in Picton. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
heading south on the bi annual mainland holiday, breaking up the journey thanks
Found during fozzmiester's South Island adventure. Great fun was had with clever hides and stunning locations encountered along the way. Many thanks to the owners of all the caches found and the enjoyment which you provided.
A quick find - signed between the chew markes. TFTC

#5459. We both had a feeling of deja vu about a previous DNF here, but either we didn't log it, or it was for an earlier cache. Anyway, today we found the cache in bits, and put it back together, and (hopefully) returned it to more or less the right spot. TFTC.
We found the cache and lid near the bottom of the slope. StreetWalker then spotted the log book (which had been nibbled at) and, in the absence of a hint, placed it at the top of the slope at the base of the bridge.
TFTC.

Continuing south on our fantastic five week holiday in New Zealand, visiting from Scotland.
I'd love to see what these rivers usually look like, because all the ones we've seen so far look quite sorry for themselves due to the drought that's been going on here. There's hardly any water in them, which helped me coin the imaginary Maori phrase 'Werrawhuksa Water?' For those not in the know, a 'wh' is pronounced as an 'f'. T4TC!
