As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Despite requests for maintenance since July last year, nothing has been done. My understanding is that the CO is no longer active. Log book decomposing.
I will repeat this needs fixing up as the contents are now being affected by the weather.
Well, we found it but the weather is now affecting the cache contents. The log book is now a mess. Was able to sign the back page. This cache now needs serious maintenance.
Out of house , look beautiful day.... I drive to around to kurri Kurri for geocaching... Hide well.. thank
It would seem your cache has been stolen. Only found all the contents today. Sorry. There's a vulgar note in the log book saying "thanks for the container".
Looks like someone has stolen your ammo box. I'm sorry - contents are all still in place but now fully exposed to the weather (minus the shelter the hiding place provides). Seems the log and swaps are still there, but no container. An ammo box went missing recently on the other side of the expressway too. Linked? There's a vulgar note in the log book too. I almost tore it out, but wanted it left for CO to decide what to do with log book. Needs review ASAP.
How good is the Hunter Expressway up here find two caches and home in 40 minuets.
Not a suitable spot for hippies with the lack if respect some people have for the area but it was a nice cache. Left a bug. Tftc
I arrived here, well down near the substation atleast, only to find the local fire brigade almost stopping my progress to the cache. There was a small brush fire that's all. I made my way along a side track and doubled back to find this strange structure. An old train platform ? I've no idea sorry. As for the hide, well, kick myself again, last place I looked. I wasn't actually expecting a good sized container.

Found at 2:41 PM GAFF3 - although it wasn't any help. Looks like you are some sort of a support for machinery. We missed the cache after the first pass and then started to look all over the place with no luck. Was about to give up actually and then we smacked our heads at where the cache was spotted.
Thanks Team Woodbats.

Found during a morning mountain bike assault on a few caches around Kurri. I was a bit worried about Joe Blakes at first, especially when lifting some of the rubbish in the middle of the structure. I widened the search and the cache was soon located. I love amo cans! Took a Geomate Jnr TB. Many thanks Team Woodbats
quick find with Commando283, a little blap around in Low-Range with some trail bikers, awesome big cache.
the structure looks like an old rail mechanic stand, like a hoist for cars, the indents were so they could engage locomotion and turn the wheels.

An excellent cache, well hidden but in full view of non-cachers who pass without knowing the secret. Also a good container with lots of room.
Gets a favourite point from me.

Last one for the night, the moon set the atmosphere for us. Pretty easy find. Signed the book and placed it back. TFTC
Grabbed this one while I was on my way home. As previously mentioned it looks to be footings for a bridge. You found these all over the hunter. Found it pretty easily although wasn't hidden too well, made sure I camouflaged it a bit better.TFTC

Fun find and great cache. There were a few ways of getting to the GZ and while we chose a long one it was worth the adventure. Left some swaps and GC. TFTC
Thanks Team Woodbats, a nice visit to the area.
Quick careful look around had the cache found.

Choice cache. Love the hide and location. Lots of swaps for the geokids. Easy drive in from the main road. Going to make this one a favourite.

Co-ords were accurate but the hint is unhelpful as previously logged by others.
Trail bike rider and passing kids seemed uninterested in our five minute hunt.

Thanks for the Large cache box.
This is the irst one that we have found of this size.
And it was well wort walking in from the main road as we had so many things to choose from.
It is great fun finding a cache this big and going through all the swaps whilst keeping an eye out for muggles.
We found it easy enough by following the GPS co ordinates.
But have no idea what the hint means "Kangaroo Jack ?"
Please explain ???
Thanks Again Woodbats
This is our favourite for the day because of the geat hide a well as the size.

Arrived at 4:20pm.
It's always good to go for a cache that someone else has been to that day because you can have almost no worries about finding it; it's there, if you fail, it's your fault.
We quickly and cautiously drove up and over all the dirt track to get right close to GZ and after a quick run had the cache in hand.
The cache was in great order and fully stocked. We swapped a hand slapped thing for a mini Rubick's cube.
Thanks for a great cache Team_Woodbats. Great location and great find for placing a cache.

Three days left to bag 1000 in caches our first year. This is 943.
A quick find but not sure about the hint?

No idea but does seem the right size for trains. One muggle on a bike going round and round. TFTC.
After spending the morning at the Maitland markets it was time to do some caching. We were organized today and even had a list of caches we were hoping to find. This was one of them and we enjoyed the hunt.
Thanks to Team Woodbats.

Our 6559th overall find.
I think your idea about what this is for is correct. I have seen a few maps that show a rail system through here. Shell and I made the find on this one today in hot weather. We were both a bit nervous at the GZ of slithering things but we found the cache quickly enough. It sure was nice in NZ to not have to worry about putting your hands in places like this.
Thanks Team Woodbats for the cache.

Have no idea what it is. Did not know what a kangaroo jack was.
Spent awhile searching then realiswd we were on the wrong side of the wall. Signed the log just in time as a couple on motor bikes arrived at GZ.

Interesting watching and waiting for the muggles on mini motorbikes to zoom past us before we headed off to the cache. What a great find with fun swaps. Thanks.
0715 GAFF1 Was on my zigzag way to Lithgow for an Event, from Taree, and thought I'd try for some caches I'd loaded on the Garmin from a 'Harder' search query.
Found on the start of the second circumnavigation and still wouldn't know what it had been !?!
Left a pencil (may have left a Correct Site Marker, not sure on that).
Through: Coins - 3Bros, AustLighthouse, Iconic Bridges, B2B ingot, Baa, Neigh and Oink, SummerLovin521TB, and trackable shirt.

I think I took the long way to the structure but it was a easy walk in the dark. Found the cache easly but I am not sure what the structure was.

Found gz easily enough. The gz is right in line with the Stanford Merthyr branch line between Heddon Greta platform and Kurri Road platform can only guess it was a small bridge but will find out more information about it.
Absolutely no idea what the structure was or had been. We soon had the cache in hand, signed the log and returned to our car.
Little bit of a bumpy track, but fun none the less.
Parked at GZ and AGAIN encountered a snake -.-
Walked the long way around and made the grab.
Looks like bricks to me

Nice easy find, but I could not see the coin within the cache...
As for what it is?? Well I agree with the cache owner it looks very heavy duty judging by the shear bulk of the brick/concrete footings and the gap in the middle that is big enough to except a train.
Perhaps there was a rail yard here at some time? Looks like the base for the compression of the trains bogie springs to lock in or release and change over carriage bogies.
Just a guess though... Thanks for the cache!

Another cache that was in a ten kilometre radius of my house and needing finding. Quick and easy drive by cache using the ultimate caching truck!
We had no idea what this once had been but the cache was where thought it would be and in good condition. A nice walk to GZ as the scoobie couldn't do the terrain. TFTC Woodbats. [1239]
On our trip back to Sydney after visiting the Hunter Valley. So many of the caches in the area are micros, so it was great to find a larger one. It is interesting that the lower cavities each have a corresponding chimney, or is it a post hole of some kind? No idea. Took Bowser TB. Left furry toy key ring.
Out on a day of caching with dalsmit and spikeymikey and it was good to see this size container. Left a few new toys to stock it up.

Found with blossom* and totally forgot to log! Thank goodness my gps remembered the date and time I logged!
We stopped by here today after an end-of-year get together with our Queensland friends in Kurri. It was hot and a very quiet day so we had no trouble searching around. Just as i signed the log, a local boy arrived on his motor bike and his father set up camp in a chair neaby, obviously to keep his eye on his young son. But I managed to return the cache quickly and unseen.
Yes, it must be some sort of construction from the old railway but I have no idea what! TFTC Team Woodbats

We found out later that we could have parked closer to this one, but we still managed to make a find anyway. We walked down under the power lines, with huge dark clouds gathering and thunder and lightning crashing - and questioned how safe it was! Once close to GZ it wasn't long before we found the cache, but have to be honest that the hint made no sense to us. We dropped off the Beertje Dolly TB and signed the log, before racing back to the car just as the rain started pouring. We have no idea what this structure was - perhaps related to the mining industry. TFTC
First find for the day on way to East Maitland. Good to find an ammo can, good hide. My thought is part of railway line(will have to do some homework on this).TFTC.
An interesting location. I'm buggered I if I know what it is. Part of the problem is where it's situated. I came up with a few theories, but different aspects of the structure would support one idea but another seemed to debunk it. Perhaps a local historian might know? Anyway, it gave us something to think about while we were there. Nice to see a decent sized cache placed here too. Thanks
Our first cache for the day. Our goal for the day was a few caches in Maitland, but we couldn't resist stopping for a few others on our way. After we'd found the cache (& it was great to find an ammo can!), we stood around & speculated what it could possibly have been. My guess is a nuclear war bunker, but no one else gave my theory much support.
Thanks Team Woodbats
