Logs
Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks Jaydreams for placing this cache.

We managed to find the long way in to this one, or at least the satnav did. Found easily once there, thanks.

Day seven of my across the Nullarbor, then to Perth via Denmark trip began with a convoy of Victorians, (Alansee, Mica Paramedic and Maccamob) all heading for Albany. The weather wasn't fantastic, but it wasnt raining either, so that was a plus.
This series was becoming a bit of a theme for us as we would find a few in our travels today and tomorrow.
**Thanks to Jaydreams for the cache. TNLN**

Found by Mary & David, in convoy with micaparamedic, Alansee and ahomburg (sometimes logged as M.A.A.M. or A.M.M.A.), at 1320. Initially, TomTom took us via the scenic route. M loved that because of all the wildflowers. Even at this time of year there was an occasional patch of colour. A great local facility. Our thanks to Jaydreams.
As usual, after not finding it immediately, I got caught up in re-reading the description and hint and other logs over and over, analysing for clues. But geoman simply got out of the car, had a look then casually said "found it" and scooped it up. Amazingly quick find for two people who tend to get stuck on camos or nanos! Very well kept sporting precinct. TFTH!
Took a while to find this one, but took the advice of a previous cacher from their log, and low and behold we found it. Well hidden.

It was just a short journey from camp on the bank of the Pallingup River this morning, to reach the Sports Fields
Filled with boundless optimism, I headed back to GZ, making sure to park the geomobile to block the view of anyone who happened to drive in while I was searching
10 minutes of searching, using all the clues and info I had gleaned from the cache page and logs last night, and I was still cacheless
It was while kneeling there, staring under the building at the scattered bits and pieces, wondering which might be the cache, that I saw something out of the corner of me eye.
Well that looks like a cache to me
No expense spared on the camo !! [:o]
The disguise works perfectly as the container just blends in with all the similar looking bits and bods [^]
TFTC
PS: Adjust your longitudinal thinking if GZ is inside the building

I waltzed in to view the sports grounds around lunchtime, fully expecting a Sunday crowd to have gathered !!
Nobody around [:o]
After admiring the amazing facilities and green, grassy playing fields for a few minutes I got down to the business of finding a cache
After 10 minutes I had to admit defeat and headed off with the DNF !!
I have done some more reading of clues and past log comments at camp this arvo.
So I think I was looking in the right area
That sign on the wall was putting me off searching properly I think
I'll be back !!

Good theme. With thanks for the cache from Angus the great GeoWestie and his Carer wo are grey (and white) nomads currently travelling in, and enjoying, WA.
Spent way too much time looking for this. Had given up when Geohubby who today has decided to be a muggle, volunteered to look. Yep sure enough he had it in under a minute. Signed the log and then I was able to admire the amazing sports ground. In what seems to be the middle of nowhere. TFTC
We had just not long finished signing the log and returned the cache when a local had pulled up to do some footy business and we got to talking about the area and what the locals did for work and schooling, shopping etc, a quick find today but a longer exit as we talked for about 15 minutes while the two young geo boys had a kick of the footy, thanks Jaydreams for the cache.
Found at 10:29 AM GAFF3 - not that the hint gave anything away.
Dances were very popular in the 50's and 60's - the main way of meeting your pratner.
We didn't realise that you could just about drive right upto GZ. We parked down another track with the van and walked about 250 metres to GZ [B)] And as mentioned in the hint, the GPSr was not giving any definite indication as to where to look, however after a few minutes p-pprass spotted what looked like a piece of rubbish and thought what the heck - lets look at it and to our surprise it was the cache!
Thanks Jaydreams.

TFTC! Day 3 of my mini South West trip. Started the day travelling to Bremer Bay to complete the new multi and the puzzle cache in town and grab a few others on the way there and back. Was a good drive, albeit a bit further than I imagined.,
On my return go Albany I chased down the remaining caches in the Orion series, culminating in two epic final caches and a few odd ones nearby.
Another great day on the road where I broke my previous record for both cache finds in a calendar month (even with 4 days to spare) and beat my record finds on a calendar year, with more than half the year to go!!
Thanks for the hide.

Passing by and thought we'd drop in to look for this one. Lucky there was no footy this arvo. TFTC
# 7907. Robmc and I had a 7.00am start from Bremer Bay heading to Albany today. We are going to attend the CITO event out near the whaling station. Grabbed a few caches on our way to town and after the event found a few more thanks to checking the iPhone on the way out, as we headed off to set up camp at Denmark.
This was our first stop for the day and we couldn't believe at this time of the morning (7,40am) that there would be someone in there mowing the lawn. We carried on regardless and I soon spotted something out of the ordinary which was indeed the cache. Would probably classify it as a micro size rather than a small as there is no room for a log book or pencil. Now we must move along as we have a long way to go in the rain.
Thanks Jaydreams

Day twenty five of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747.
Left Bremer Bay in the drizzle early this morning and travelled down to Albany for the CITO event. Grabbed a few Rural Towns on the way (and a home made pie!). Left the event early to set up our tent, but found a few new caches on the way.
We drove in on a drizzly morning about 8am and there was a muggle there mowing the pitch!!!! Fortunately he was working on the boundary so it took him a while to get around. Our GPS's took us in opposite directions around the building (blood metal building) but BB found it very quickly.
Another in the series completed. (been a year since our last!)
Thanks, Robmc.

At the moment I'm on a work and travel backpacking year through the world. Most of the time I'll spend in Australia and I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge during this trip. The chance of having a moving home zone should be taken, as it will make the challenge so much easier.
My current part of the journey is the second day of a roadtrip from Margaret River to Nimbin and I'll definitely try to collect a lot of boxes on my way.
Pretty easy find.
TFTC and greetings from Germany

After reading previous logs about inaccuracy was a bit worried that this would be a hard find, however was a quick find with gps being quite close! Tftc!
Always wondered what was at Boxwood.....and now I know! Sneaky hide at a great sports ground. TFTC
Another beautiful day down in the Great Southern. Today we headed eastwards, again chasing down more WA Explorers. Found this one by a process of elimination. GPS wanted me to be well inside the building, so I just kept looking in the spots I could read, and found it eventually. Thanks for another smiley Jaydreams
2 grey nomads fro Vic wandering around W A. a lovely sports area for a small town. gps wasnt much help it kept jumping but we soon located the cache. thanks
TFTC/TFTH We found the cache within minutes thanks for doing all your great caches.
My GPS seemed to be OK, at least it got me close enough to use the old EB MK I (Eye Ball Mark 1) to find this really quiet easy cache. Many TFTC.
Have just visited this cache (again) and, despite KiwiLegends negative comments, the cache IS still there, and easily found without crawling under the building. Yes, the co-ordinates ARE "off" but this is because something to do with the building throws it out. I have tried with three different GPSs and it does the same to them all. Sorry, but that's the best that could be done, and it's NOT due to lack of caring! It's a shame KiwiLegend doesn't like a little bit of a challenge.
I hate hints that aren't hints. I hate caches where the coordinates are known to be out, but the owners are either incapable of, or don't care enough to fix them. I had no desire whatsoever to grovel under a building in that heat, while the other non-cachers waited in the car. Thanks at least for the 'wow' moment as we drove in the drive.
I found this one with my Mum & Dad (jasenjanine), while on our Christmas holidays . This took a bit of finding, but we got it .... TFTC Jaydreams
On our way from Albany to Hopetoun today! this one popped up on our radar. We had a quick search, and as others had mentioned ... the Garmin wanted us to climb under the building . We searched along three edges of the building before Janine found the cache in one of the first places I stopped to search ... I just wasn't quite looking at the right angle [:o)]. A note for future finders ... don't over complicate things
All ok and dry with this one .... TFTC Jaydreams

Stopped for a quick look but didn't find it. GPS kept taking me to the underpinning of the building, and didn't want to climb under. Thanks anyway.
Last hall for the day. Amazed at how much is in this area. Beautiful courts and oval. Even a children's playground. Very well looked after. Thanks for bringing us up to the halls Jaydreams
After the overnighter in Bremer I still had a score to settle with this cache after a previous DNF. Like last time and everyone else both the GPS and Iphone were pointing into the hall but closer to the side. Expanded my search area out to the back and after a pick and a poke finally found it in the constant drizzle.
TFTC Jaydreams, great series.

This was another DOH moment. I crawled, and scrabbled, under the hall. We looked, and checked, and checked, and looked. We spent about 15 minutes searching. We went back to the car to look at old logs, got out again, and stared directly at it. How did we miss it before? Who knows. Signed and away.
Fantastic facility, in what seems to be the middle of almost nowhere. Well looked after.
Cheers

Found on our trip to Esperance. Took a bit to find the place, GPS kept coming in from the back of the oval. TFTC
This caravan trip was all about filling in the gaps on our Well Travelled and Aged Cacher (GC3TR3M) List. We needed a cache at exactly this distance. Also needed one from Bremer Bay so a good excuse for a trip. Luckily an easy find. TFTC and series
Dancing around on our knees for 45mins lol nearly gave up but persisted and found it. Great cache, beautiful little spot. Had the kids crawling under the hall. TN left an Aussie thong key ring, SL, Nice little roadhouse in town.
We weren't the most optimistic this cache was still here after previous visitors logged consecutive DNFs, and when arriving on site we knew it wouldn't be the most easy find. As others have reported, GZ didn't quite seem on target either, but we broadened our search area and persisted with some careful looking, and were successful in the end after a 5-10 minute hunt. Another sneaky hide! We liked the sports fields here too - they are indeed well maintained, and a credit to this community. Thanks again Jaydreams for the great Dancing Round the Halls series!
Danced around the hall for 20 minutes but no cache.
Had to drive on to Bremer Bay.
Hope it's still there as the last found was mor than 3 months ago.
Best regards from Germany.

Quick and easy find. We were camped at Millers Point for a few days, and had to go to Boxwood hill roadhouse for a few things, so went and found this cache. TFTC
Found whilst out with the camper on a trip to Hopetoun and its surrounds..many thanks for the cache
Found it even though it had rolled off & was well & truly underneath. Have replaced it to where we think it was meant to be.
Found and logged at 9:50,
7 finds for the day on my trip from Albany to Esperance, On my home from Darwin via the west coast

Didn't have a lot of time to spend on this one as we had to be back in Alb's for a dinner thing.
GPS had me all over the place but spent a bit of time down low.
Will be back.

BBQ still warm from yesterdays home game. The heart of a local community. TFTC
Oh boy! Could have done the Pride of Erin into the wee hours of the morning with the time it took to find this one. GPS was being very erratic and we were getting only 1 reading out on two full walls of the building. We nearly gave up heaps of times before something that we had discarded earlier was retrieved in a very uncomfortable way. It was the cache! We replaced it near to where we found it but in a spot that will save the clothes of the next finder. Thanks, a great complex for the locals.
You'd never know from the main road that all these facilities are here - good to see such community spirit out in the bush. Had a bit of difficulty with the co-ords but eventually came up trumps with a cute bit of camo. Thanks Jaydreams
Found on the way to Esperance on our Aussie holiday. I love these community halls, I have a few caches placed outside halls near my place TFTC Jaydreams
Jaydreams checked this cache today after several DNFs. Still in place and waiting to be found!!
Couldnt find this one, the closest we could get to gz was 6m . Looked in the area but no luck. Maybe on our way home we will be more lucky .
With a time constraint working against us, we really shouldn't have came for this one. Had a good look around but quit after putting a hand into a huge clump of (unseen) spiderweb.
Unfortunately when we arrived at the location there were a group of workmen in the near proximity so aborted our search as we did not want to disclose the location of the cache.
Stopped at the hall and sporting complex to do some domestic chores on our way north, didn't know there was a cache here due to having travelled from a non internet area. Maybe another time.
Thanks for the cache, a nice spot. Found by Thrunobulax and I on our way to Bremer for the week.
Found on the way to Bluff Knoll whilst camping at Bremer Bay. An easy find but due to rain in the area it was a little misplaced. Put back in place for the next cacher! Great sporting grounds and hope it gets used.
did this one on the way back from bremer bay, cool hiding spot, almost gave in
saw a black snake going into the umpires changing room, wouldnt want to be him next time he gets changed!!
good cache

Today was the first time I have been First to find (a cache)but to be first to find twice is fantastic. Great cache this hall is vastly better than Wellstead hall thanks for the scratches this gave me an even greater start to a short caching day. Thanks again Jaydreams
